NOT a good Hostel. It's overpriced, poorly managed and dirty. The owner is surly (when he bothered to show up), gossiped about guests and won't address customer concerns. Security was poor and things were stolen. He even allowed a pros. to do business from their room and the 'clients' were just coming in and out every evening - absolutely shocking! I had difficulty sleeping, - and the owner wanted me to act as a receptionist... for free! It's also next to a very busy main road, so the location is spoiled by noise. A miserable experience.

Fantastic location in the old area of Stockholm. Decent amenities and nice staff. The view when you step outside to the street feels almost like a movie

The owner is creepy and makes women uncomfortable. Also - he threatened to throw my luggage outside because I wasn't back by a time we never agreed upon. Charging extra for sheets - clearly greed. You get the idea

Worst experience in my life. You get the feeling that the owner is constantly watching you. You really do not want to be near him. He's also grumpy and has no joy left inside. The rooms were dark and cold. Nothing in this hostel is worth your time...except for the location. Still not worth it!

We stayed in a private room with 2 single beds. The beds were very comfortable, but disappointing that you had to pay for sheets. The hostel also wasn't the cleanest - the benches and mirror in our room were really dirty, as was the bathroom sink and mirror. The toilets also smelled pretty bad. On the other hand, the showers were really great with high pressure hot water and the location was also absolutely perfect - close to everything. Head to Stockholms Gastabud for the best Swedish Meatballs ever! Also, note that you can't check in after 6pm, which is also a bit of a pain, so be sure to reach out to the hostel beforehand for the door code.

Had a three day stay at the hostel, it's very conveniently located in the old city center close to a great range of cafés, shops and restaurants and a metro station close by. The rooms are OK, clean but nothing special. There's no bar or food service inside, there's a kitchen but it's rather small. For the price a decent option!

You get what you pay for, but OK for its super cheap price. You can check in outside reception hours, as some doors use a keypad with a code. Staff was very friendly. There were 2 bathrooms and 3 showers (2 very small) for the whole hostel. Maybe the shower/bathroom could have been cleaner.. as the white tiles had a slight orange colour. You're able to cook with 1 pan (bring your own oil/butter/salt/pepper) and there were enough plates etc for the 6 of us. Its location at the edge of Gamla Stan was beautiful, and the boat station to other parts of Stockholm is right on the other side of the road. The room was tiny, the 3 bunk beds stood very snugly in the room, and my suitcase barely fit. I was lucky the rest of our group didn't bring much luggage. The lockers are small, but could fit your laptop/A4 papers.

Very unhelpful, rude staff. Wouldn't recommend booking here - they also have a month long cancellation policy and they will charge you the full amount of your booking even if you aren't there and even if you book the flexible booking option on hostel world. Just don't book here, the staff won't help you out at all.

Unfortunately the stuff was unfriendly and uncooperative. Couldn't bring a friend into the hostel for dinner or couldn't leave a small bag there after checkout for a few hours. The hostel itself is fine and has a good location.

Convenient location with nice breakfast places close by. The bathrooms and showers were really clean, mabye not as modern compared to other hostels. Great value for the price, clean rooms and quiet at night.

The 2Kronor/Dockside hostel is very utilitarian and the price is reasonable for what you get. A decent kitchen, but a tiny common area, great showers, but only two toilets for the entire hostel. Rooms are small and have limited storage space. Staff hours are VERY limited. This place is a perfect spot to crash for a day or two in Stockholm, but is cramped for longer stays.

Stayed in room 11 (4 bunk beds) with 6 quiet people. Door slamming contest happened in the corridor at 3:30am for some reason, can't blame the hostel, just disrespectful or drunk people. Two toilets for the whole hostel. It was clean and there's no problem checking in outside of reception hours, just drop them an email. At less than 30 euros, good value for one night, esp. being a 15 minute walk to city terminalen.

This is a quiet, homey hostel. Reception is only open 09:00-11:00 and 15:00-18:00, but you can still check in in off hours if you provide them with notice via email. Location was great, can hardly get more central in Stockholm. Rooms aren't the fanciest, but it does what a hostel is supposed to. Beds are comfortable, lockers are located in the rooms and are large enough to fit an average sized backpack (not large enough for a real backpacking one though). Showers and toilets are out of the way if you're in an upper level floor, but it's manageable. Kitchen is provided if you prefer to cook your own meals (stove, refrigerator, microwave, all plates, utensils, ect.)(also, there's a small grocery store a block away called Coop), just make sure you clean up after yourself. Free coffee, tea, and pasta is provided, but you have to make it yourself. As with all the hostels I looked at in Stockholm, sheets must be rented if you don't bring your own (the ones available are clean and comfortable though!) All in all a good hostel for the price paid, if I ever come back I'd most likely stay here again.

The location is amazing ! By the sea side in the old city center. The owner is super sweet. He made us feel welcomed and at home. Really clean place, nice rooms with natural light and lockers. Highly recommend !

Biggest advantage is the location. It is located at a walking distance to the main market street. Coop supermarket is at a walking distance. We stayed here for two days. The room had bunk comfortable bunk beds. The washrooms and shower are quite small but clean. The kitchen is small, it has basic amenities like oven, stove, kettle, microwave and refrigerator. Utensils are also available. All doors are password protected which is a slight hassle. The host however is cold. Would have given an extra star had he spoken more politely. Also, you are not allowed to drink in the premise according to the host. For any mistakes he has a menu of fines that he can levy. Fortunately we didn’t get a chance to run through the menu. Note: Linen charges are additional.

Great location. But that's about the only nice thing about this hostel. Rooms were very small and somewhat dirty. Lockers are very small, you can't fit a small backpack into it. Front desk/reception is unfriendly and just not the vibe. Common area is extremely small and very rarely were there people socializing in it. There are only two toilets in the entire hostel, and they were dirty. Would not recommend it. Stay somewhere in Sodermalm or Norrmalm instead, the metro in Stockholm is great.
