I am a brand new member, and I am already starting to regret it! I have called over six times today to be left on hold for over 45 minutes to be automatically disconnected. It is absolutely infuriating and unacceptable. Why can I not reach a person?? Why does it just hang up after waiting on hold for over an hour?! I’m also a provider with Molina and can’t imagine how infuriating this is for my patients ?!

I have been trying to reach a human too help me access my on-line Molina account so I can understand my benefits to no avail. I have ben trying for about three weeks and have not been able to speak to anyone who can assist who knows anything. Additionally, I have also not received anything outlining my benefits by mail so I literally have no idea what my benefits are. I cannot tell you how much I regret signing with Molina, terrible decision, do yourself a favor and go with any other insurance company, you couldn't get a worse one. In the meantime, I will continue to spend hours on the phone waiting for someone who has a clue. I am now looking for an alternative private insurer as I have now missed the marketplace window. Cant wait to get out of Molina.

I have paid for 2022 coverage for two months through bewellnm.com. I have not been provided any updated policy information. Any doctor I try to see says my insurance comes up as "ineligible". When I call Molina they play the transfer my call game, with the feather in the hat on the last call being a tranfer back to bewellnm! Nobody can give me an answer yet they were happy to take my money!

Have been trying to call several times for past week, the one time I got through on Friday just after 5 after waiting 20 minutes... girl acted like she couldn’t hear me and hung up... tried again and after 20 more minutes, sounded like same girl answered pretending she couldn’t hear me and hung up... since then several times calling and waiting over an hour... waiting over 2 right now today and still no one... daughter on my plan is being charged, For COVID test and Other annual test... this needs corrected!! I never had this problem with Presbyterian Medical Insurance, so frustrating!

I've been a member and been paying them for over 3 months, still have yet to receive my member ID or card. Impossible to have them work with me. They overcharge me and then literally tell me, word by word "it's no big deal" and then never give me a refund. Will then ask for money even when they now have credit for the next month. I've never been so disappointed in an insurance company.

Phone customer care is terrible. You can NOT get through for hours. Who has time to be on hold for hours. Then the time I got through to ask about an authorization, I was not given clear info. They said to call the Dr. but if I have a test that is not pre approved they will not cover???? Also some very needed perscriptions were not approved. Can December come fast enough so I can switch to another company.

I am fed up to the inth degree with the lack of service from Molina. I became a Molina member at the end of November 2021 but I did not receive ANY acknowledgement from Molina until I placed 4 or 5 phone calls to the California office. I FINALLY received my MEMBERSHIP CARD and the MY CHOICE CARD on April 4th! That was just the beginning. I was never informed about a "Nations" supply catalog until June or July. This company should not be allowed to operate - especially for older citizens who normally have some kind of illness or imparment. I intend to file a greivance with the NM State Insurance Commissioner's office. Molina's only redemption is the staff in the Albuquerque office. Every one of those people are kind, professional, knowledgeable and caring.

Everything people have written in their reviews is true, this is the worst insurance company I have ever used. Am currently on hour #2 waiting for them to fix a problem, which I presume will never be fixed. They waited until the day before my chemo pills are to be mailed to tell me my copay is now $524 instead of $0. Last week they upped my Eliquis Rx from $130 to $600. It took days to straighten that out. In April, THEY TERMINATED MY RX DRUG COVERAGE WITHOUT WARNING. My father-in-law was dying in another state and we could not even see him before he passed due to Molina dragging their feet activating my drug coverage. I could not get my chemo meds for the cancer I'm being treated for, so could not leave. What a disgrace your company is. You should be ashamed to even advertise yourself as a healthcare insurance provider. Update August 2023: I received a letter from a collection agency that my hospital stay in October 2022 was not covered by insurance! Yet, the hospital sent me a letter in January 2023 that my account was paid in full. Geez Molina, can't you get anything right? Every 2 months I have to call you and ask what is going on. I'm waiting for your Einstein reps to call back and confirm my insurance was active and I had coverage in October. And how do I get pre-auths in October and coverage, but 9 months later someone says I didn't have coverage? You should be referred to Harvard Business School as a premier example of how not to run a business. Update September 2023: I received bills for hundreds of dollars from last year because the providers said my "Molina Medicaid" expired. I never had Medicaid. Molina admitted to their computer error & corrected it, but I have to call the providers to re-submit the bills. Update October 2023: My pharmacy tells me I now have a copay for my chemo pills, yet I have had 0 copay all year. Still waiting to find out from Molina why there is change, after talking to at least 3 customer service reps.

If I could give negative stars I would. Do not buy this insurance. All of our health care providers told us (too late) that they are the worst. They deny all necessary care, they take forever and in our case we transported our LO from Roswell to Albuquerque for skilled nursing care with a pre auth they revoked the next day. Our LO cannot speak, is incontinant, is hallucinating and has no idea where he is or what is going on and they determined he is 100% capable of living on his own and caring for himself. This insurance is a scam.

Thieves! Been paying premiums since before Jan 1, still “inactive” as of Feb 16. NOBODY state-side to help resolve and they are ignoring BeWellNM’s attempts to correct. HOURS on hold or pointless conversations with their “customer service” reps that are spread across the world. My last call yesterday went to a woman who spoke NO English and a rooster crowing in the background. NO EXAGGERATION. They are stealing $607 per month from me and I am paying 100% of my medical expenses on top. I was told that I need to pay and submit claims once it is settled. MORE LIES and no human to resolve. Disgusting. Based in Long Beach? HAH! Criminals and nothing more.

Edit: I called Molina extremely upset regarding the review I left yesterday. I owe a huge apology to Molina! I want to praise Jaime in Member Services and his profound attention to customer service! As it turns out, I had properly cancelled my auto payment and the "charge" I thought was on my account was actually a credit. I didn't even know that if you end your account early or mid-month that you get your money back. Jaime was able to navigate my rudeness and help me understand MY lack of understanding, in a pleasant and patient manner. Not only was my issue resolved but I was laughing at myself by the end of the call (because of my terrible attitude at the beginning of the phone all). Just a reminder that people on the other end of the line are people too. We're all trying our best! Thanks again Jaime and I hope they realize how lucky they are to have you working in Member Services! My original review below: "I disabled autopay and then was charged the subsequent month. I'm sure it's going to be a nightmare trying to get my refund, for their mistake. Clearly, their systems aren't set up correctly for this to occur."

This is my first rodeo with Molina and so far, it's been pretty disappointing. Instead of a Doctor, I was assigned an NP. An NP is an RN with higher education, NOT an MD. I went to the site to change to a DOCTOR and the system continued to refer me to a number to call. Why even have "CHANGE MY DOCTOR" as an option as a homepage if we have to call anyway? It's a time waster. A month later I tried again. This time, it showed my doctor but there is NOWHERE TO SELECT HER as my option. Shows all her info, but no, "Make this my Doctor" button. So then I had to call. Once again, after going through the countless voice prompts, the line rings and 2 rings later, I'm disconnected. Now I have to call again, get out my ID Card for member number again, etc. Thankfully, I reached a human who was able to quickly make the change. The representative was friendly and kind, which I appreciated. Molina, you have work to do! I understand that due to COVID you have people working from home, but you need to get your phone system to work properly..and the website too! Your CHANGE MY DOCTOR tool is USELESS as it is. Grrrr....

Referrals for everything. Referrals were always “in review” for months, in the meantime the providers would decide they didn’t contract with Molina even though Molina had them on their list. Per Molina that’s because Molina doesn’t update the list frequently, but, if you called Molina and asked for a provider, they still didn’t accept Molina. Also denied prescriptions. Worthless.

As a healthcare professional I am highly disappointed in Molina Healthcare. They deny desperately needed medications for patients repeatedly. They say they've sent a response requesting additional info. for Prior Authorizations but we never receive one. Or they deny because their cleverly designed form is set up to miss information, so that they can deny or postpone. It's all intentional to deny their customers the medical services they need and pay for. And while all of this back and forth is occurring, the patients health suffers sometimes never to recover. Molina is not in the business of helping their customers, they are in the business of making money off of sick people they deny services to. Terrible review after terrible review proves how worthless Molina Healthcare is!

Left Molina after raising premiums and providing worse benefits, then they decide to recoup payment on services from two years ago! Please avoid this company like the plague, they are a complete scam.

😠 Avoid this clinic at all cost! They are rude and unprofessional to say the least.
