This was one of the worst stays at a hotel in my life. When i first checked the front desk guest was very rude to begin with. Also i was placed in a room with no working a/c or television. Rooms are so small and outdated so bad. Asked to be moved wasn't accommodated until this sweet Hispanic girl came into work the night shift. I told her what happened she apologized and moved me with no problem. The beds was extremely uncomfortable was hurting my back. And to top it of they didn't even want to give up clean towels or towel paper, not to mention the toilet got clogged and the maintenance guy never showed up. It was so horrible I cried because I felt so mistreated and not welcome to a place that I paid my hard earned money for. Never again. I don't recommend anyone stay here.

The staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Great for a night stay before a cruise! They even offered to hold our luggage after we had checked out so we could eat before catching our lyft to the port!

The staff was kind and handled well under pressure. Never had any problems with the personal. The young woman Rachel was excellent and super helpful in many circumstances! <3 Rooms are small but clean. The king bed was comfortable. Modern bathroom, fridge that worked! AC & TV ;) breakfast was simple coffee, cereal, toast, fruit. Housekeeping was effective and used bleach on a regular basis. Good thing because nowadays it's a must! Price is fair bc of closeness to the beach. Will book again!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL After more than half a year still wating for our deposit. It is really hard to communicate with the hotel staff. First they just ignored our emails, later they finally promised that they will send our money back, however we still have not received it since May. The hotel was very noisy, Since the walls were very thin we had to hear people walk up and down the halls all night long. During our first night there was a loud couple who were shouting at each other for few hours, that was really scary and annoying and unfortunataly totally ignored by the hotel staff. The breakfast was also disappointing, You have have to wait in front of door for a long time to get it. We sometimes just felt they were deliberately slow to discourage us to come back on the following day.

On our way back from a trip to Portugal, we decided to stay in South Beach for a night to see some friends. We're very familiar with the city and hotels, as we used to live there. We chose Fashion Boutique Hotel for two reasons: location and price. All we needed was a bed and a shower and it served its purposes. The rooms are a little kitsch but it's a pretty Art Deco building with a small courtyard in front of the entrance. The rooms don't have coffee pots and they charge $3 for a pod to use their machine in the lobby. I went around the corner to the Cuban cafe (Las Olas Cafe) instead. They charge a $100 room deposit. I don't know why as there are no amenities in the hotel - nothing to charge to your room. Self-parking is available for $35 a day with another mysterious deposit of $50. There is a private gated lot across Washington on 6th St. for $35 a day and the City lot on 7th is only $20 per day. The terrace on the 1st floor overlooking Washington Ave. was closed for construction. Hopefully they will build a small bar up there. The room was clean and featured a mini-fridge and safe.

Located very near shops, restaurants and walking distance to South Beach. Room we booked turned out to be very clean with very comfortable mattress and pillows and clean linens. Staff was helpful as well. And for about US$78/night you get a complimentary continental breakfast. Highly recommended

Not impressed. Showers were hot, towels good. Bed and pillows average. After first night and being out during the day, we came back to room where only one bed was made and short on towels. Went to front desk for towels, and they said they did not have extras, and gave us floor towels. I was not worried about unmade bed. Small rooms. Freezer in fridge was not working. No coffee maker. No microwave. Walls thin and lots of noise from hallway during the night. No breakfast included. Wi-fi was ok. Would not recommend….but it is close to beach. Oh, and parking is a block away in city garage for another $20 per night. We expected more from hotel costing that much.

Really enjoyed my stay here! Here is my detailed review, from check in to checkout. Booking: I first called the hotel to check availability. Price over the phone was $250, however Expedia had the same room available for $150 + tax and fees. Booked through Expedia for a total of less than $200 for one night. Parking: there is no on site parking, but most places here in South Beach do not offer parking. There is a parking lot right actress the street which costs $30 per day, and apparently there is another one 2 blocks down which is $20 per day. We chose the one right actress the street for $30/day. You can access your car as many times as you want for items, but no driving in and out. Checkin: this was an easy process. There is always someone sitting at the desk when you walk in. Check in took 2 minutes. Needed to show ID and credit card for $100 security deposit. Finding room: it's easy to find your room. They give you 2 keys, which are waterproof wristbands that you use to get into the building and into your room. Wifi access also provided here. Please note, they do not have elevators! So you need to carry your stuff up the stairs unless you get a room on the first floor. Bedroom: Bedroom is very clean. Beds were done nicely. There is an over the window AC unit which worked well. Area is quiet since it's 2 blocks off the beach. Beds are very comfy, we fell asleep within minutes. There is a large mirror in the bedroom which is about 7 feet tall, which my wife liked. Plenty of storage space, as well as a small tv. There is also a closet which has a small safe, iron, ironing board, as well as a black and decker mini fridge. Please see picture of the room above. Bathroom Shower: this was very clean. It has a nice frameless glass door, and is a standing shower with tiles up to the ceiling. They provide soap, shampoo, conditioner. Hot water was almost instant and long lasting. Bathroom Toilet: Also very clean, however the handle was a little loose but I am not too picky. Sink: it was a nice over the counter sink, over the sink itself was also clean, but behind the sink didn't seem very clean. Complementary Breakfast: This is also nice. It's not a hot breakfast, it is fairly simple. You go downstairs to room 102 to place your order, and then they will bring your food to you in the lobby within 5 minutes. Take your food to the rooftop patio (see picture above). Was a nice experience. Checkout: this was as simple as you expect. Return your keys and you are done. Overall: given the fact that I could not find a hotel for less than $400 for my one night in south beach, and this was available for less than $200, we are very pleased with this. It's clean and a nice place to stay. Limited interaction with staff but they were friendly. I would stay here again in the future.

This was the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel, for a few days visit to Miami. The main reason for choosing this hotel quite frankly, is value (price vs location). To start, Mia was great, she was very helpful, a pleasure to interact with when checking in, or whenever we had questions or needed anything. The location is perfect for us. Very close to the beach, Ocean Drive, shops at Lincoln, with lots of food choices in close proximity. Also a CVS across the street for any other needs. The location also makes it very easy to leave the Beach area for other events or visiting Miami. Rooms are fine, and everything expected at this price. Only area which I think could be improved is the cleanliness. Bed linens and towels were clean, but the other areas of the room (shower, closet, desk, etc.) did not seem like they had been cleaned recently. But great stay, nonetheless!!

This lady is RUDE ! She’s never at the front desk, she never picks up the phone. She gave me a hard time trying to let me into my room and said I had to pay 25 dollars for a new key when I left mine in my room and said she left her key and was waiting for someone to bring hers. When all she had to was just program another key to let me in. Hire new staff that actually want to help the people that choose to stay here.

The room was your standard room. The good thing was everything was clean. The staff was nice. The only thing was gave a deposit a month ago and they told me it would be returned in "5-7 business days". I stayed there November 10th and it's December 4. Even with the holidays that is still way over what I was told.

The hotel was decent. The perfume was a bit overwhelming but for the price acceptable. In a great location from everything. Unfortunately we had a Guest walk in while we were sleeping, i assume it was a door key misunderstanding. The breakfast options weren’t as much to choose from. With it now being 2 weeks after my visit i haven’t received my room deposit back yet. I only stayed for 3 days and i checked out alittle earlier than 11 just to be sure. I’ve tried calling the posted number numerous times and haven’t gotten anyone to pick up or call me back. Hopefully someone can get in touch with me because i do have a couple of questions.

I would give a 1 but the staff was not that bad. I will say there was a latin girl in the front reception not the blond she was very nice and attentive. But the brunette with short hair that probably was the manager that would always have a mad face can not take a joke attitude. I feel if she was maybe walking around it would not be as bad. But if you are just coming off a flight into a small hotel the least she could do is smile and know how to properly greet guests. Did not feel welcome with her demeanor felt like I was entering a prison. This hotel was a bit dirty I would say, only 2 floors rooms felt like a motel a bit air conditioner could be cleaned cause that thing was disgusting super dirty could not believed I was breathing the air in that thing but did not have a choice since room was paid for. Whatever perfume or scent you guys are spraying into those rooms stop b/c it is not going to stop the weird smell the rooms are giving off. I had to buy fabreeze to spray b/c the rooms gave off like a paint or mildew smell was just a weird smell. Finally do not just housekeeping but once in a while clean the cabinets inside the drawers they looked dirty I had to leave my clothing in my luggage b/c of how dirty it was. I would say location the best thing on this hotel it is located in the center of everything south beach walking distance like 3 blocks. Finally unless you are getting drunk every night the beds in these rooms feel wood feel very hard so be cautioned.

I love the customer service, really clean friendly, good prices. I definitely recommend this place. Everything was perfect for my husband and me. Location is on point close for everything. I can’t ask for more. Spanish Cuban girl even warm the milk for us. Just because we want hot coffee. She makes us happy and that all matters. Our stay was excellent and safe. And she is a good example of customer service. I don’t know her name. But we stay from may-16-22 to may-17-22 and she is amazing.morning shift. Mama you are the best representative of that hotel

Service was great and extremely helpful. The hotel itself is very different than what I was used to, not that it is a bad thing just different. The room were stayed in (room 125) was very nice clean, air worked well draw back is the bathroom is very small and the noise level is very high.

Friendly staff...but need to be familiar w their area so as to recommend places to visit ....walking distance to Art Deco district and Versace Mansion, beach, restaurants and shopping. Rooms clean and decor funky. Snacks not provided at 300pm as specified two out of the 3 days I was there. Continental breakfasts offered a lot of variety. Parking garage across the street for $30/day.

Had the absolute best experience at the Fashion Boutique Hotel! The name matches the theme, which matches the decor perfectly! Fun colors, dramatic exaggeration, and spot-on style! The staff is absolutely the sweetest group of individuals and truly made our stay the best! My sister had the chocolate croissants for breakfast every morning, and they were delicious! Special shout out to Damian, who always met us with a smile as we were coming and going! Would stay here again on our next trip to South Beach and not think twice! ❤️

The rooms are a lot smaller than they look. The breakfast is not worth the up charge (I would highly recommend going out for breakfast). The bathrooms are quaint and the staff is very friendly.

Its definitely a great value. Room was nice, workers were friendly, and it's near the beach. And the price is much better than others.

Cool location for a cheap room on south beach . No pool rooftop view on Washington Avenue. I love alm the fashion decor quotes on doors . Just make sure u pay ur incidentals in cash . If u put your card down it takes 14 days to refund your money . They never answered phone so I can ask them why they don't release my funds 😤 . Had to call my bank cancel payment. Probably never stay there again in life

Its been a couple summers since my stay here, and I can tell by the other reviews that nothing has changed. First off I feel like they catfish people with how the rooms online vs when you get there! It smelled, we were told cleaning was short staffed so no one was cleaning our rooms during our stay. Barely had towels. Our air conditioning kept going out and the room was small. It honestly Was very uncomfortable to even be there, and they had no elevator. The only good thing was how close it was To everything, that’s it . I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I guarantee that you should do YouTube research before booking at hotels like this.

I booked and paid for this hotel and when I got there, they canceled my reservation. I got the email after being there for an hour that my reservation was cancelled. He continued to tell me that my card info was correct and that they didn’t have the funds and that I hadn’t been there in time to check in(2 hours before hand) I had already paid for the room so that’s why I was confused. While I waited to figure things out, there was another person who showed up a day late and still got to check in. Another person checked in and told them that they could stay for a day but had to wait to stay extra days until they got their money. I asked for a manger multiple times and he told he the manager wasn’t there after i had to get loud. He brought up another employee and he wasn’t helpful either. Basically said, we don’t have our money- so you need to book another room. They both contradicted themselves and it was very unprofessional. There was no elevator, ac, and the location was sketchy. Will not book here again- I advise you to not book either.

Was absolutly amazed and suprised to see how nice this hotel is!! The location is 👌 2 streets down is the famous art deco street with all the bars and restaurants. The beach is right there as well!! They give you towel cards if you did not bring your own towels to use. The Cvs store is rigt across the street, just as subway, a tattoo place and 2 banks. An exellent street 👍 The people who work here are amazing! Really friendly and nice!! My only complaint were the cleanliness of the bathroom. The walls were bright so you could see people buggers from them rubbing there fingers against the wall. There were also fingermarks from eather blood or makeup. So that was gross.. but the shower had hot water and the toilet worked!! At night you can hear a small alarm going off somewhere. This made it difficult to sleep but nothing airbuds cant fix 😊👍 beds were super comfy and we had a fridge!! All in all a great stay!!

This hotel cancel my reservation for no reason Expedia call them to ask why did they cancel the room they didn’t know why it was canceled. Funny story on Tuesday the room became available on Expedia and I tried to book the room on the hotel website but it was down! Now today their website is up and running and they are charging double the price for a room. Wow So they cancel people's reservations so you have to book their room through their website and pay double the price. I was a return customer, But now I’ll never stay there again. Luckily Expedia did the right thing and took care of me. Honestly stay away from here! P.S if you lose your room key, you will be charged $25 I feel bad for the people that show up to this hotel and their reservation is canceled ❌

Super location, bad experience. Location: Washington and 5 Street is perfect, not too far from shops, restaurants and animation( from 14 Street to Lincoln) and close from the incredible beach just in front of 1 street). There is plenty restaurants around the hotel and the beach is beautiful everywhere in south beach. Service: Staff is ok, but management is to improove. People talking very load at night with nobody to cool it down, beach towells are either in the washing machine, one hour later in the dryer and 30 minute later all gone (2 days out of 6) but they gave us shower towells. Room: first one no wi-fi (224 end of the hall) change to 201 where you might sleep or not!!!! VERY NOISY at times, but we were noticed when we asked to change to get Wi-Fi. You wont even have a single plastic glass in the room, after house keeking still sand on the floor, sink not cleaned and so on. Very disapointing! Could be so much better with a good captain.

Pros: Great Location. WiFi is decent. Hotel is remodelled and looks good. Value for Money Good Staff Cleanliness Cons: No other major facilities like Gym, Swimming Pool, etc Breakfast is very very restricted. Overall: Good budget hotel

The rooms are horrible , my toilet got stopped up it wasn’t clean, sheets were dirty. Man at the front desk was very helpful throughout my stay but I would not recommend. The beach wasn’t to far of a walk but the hotel overall was not what I imagined.

I made a reservation on February 3 to stay at the hotel for the weekend of May 5-8. then I get an email on march 22 saying there was a problem with the payment. that is not true because the amount was debited and payed. when calling the hotel indicate the same thing that there was a problem with the payment and that they did not have rooms available this date. when I ask the receptionist how it is possible to receive a reservation confirmation along with thank you for having paid if there had been a problem with the payment. He didn't do anything, he just told me he would talk to the manager. 2 minutes later I receive a refund of money to my credit card from the hotel. I mean, they canceled me because they wanted to, not because there was a problem with the payment. They are a hotel fiazco. do not put your vacations at risk with them. I was left with unused airplane tickets because I have nowhere to stay on those dates. they are trash.

First the smell of this hotel was 🔥 smelt like perfume. Hotel was clean and room was great even if it was small. Comfy beds ! Only downfall was construction outside our window starting 7:30 ever morning! Location was super close. Parking wasn’t included that made it $30 a day extra

  • 1/5 Lysa E. 2 years ago on Google
Room was very small. Hotel doesn't look as good as the pictures look online. Door to the room was very heavy. When we ask for more face towels the Hotel Clerk stated He didn't have any more face towels to give Us. The Check-In Lobby wasn't clean. The Staff wasn't Very Friendly at all. The Location is Great can walk to everything and close to the beach. The Pricing is Great so I guess You get what You pay for.

I booked a cruise out of Miami, been planning it for 6 months, 11/23/21 I broke my tibia. Not bearing weight for 8 weeks. Which took me to the day of cruise, I am still 2 weeks on not bearing weight. No way to be on crutches and travel from NJ to FL and enjoy my vacation, at this time I started cancelling my vacation. Carnival Cruise was AMAZING and understanding thats not how you enjoy a vacation and fully refunded me 100%. Spirit airline, very understanding would of fully refunded me if I supplied medical papers, but unfortunately my father got VERY sick and finally passed away on 12/30/21. Hence me being distracted and not supplying papers in time, yesterday I called and they STILL gave me full credit. At the SAME time I contacted this property for a refund or even a credit towards the future when things get better. NO RESPONSE, I did not notice until yesterday when getting check in alerts for the airline and hotel. Again Spirit understood, the only response I got to the email because no one would pick up their phone was how to check in... Life happens, you don't do people that way.. Will never get my money again though and I hope no one else does either. Heartless....
