Stumbled upon this place by accident. We ordered 4 dishes including chicken, fish, vegetable and tofu along with 3 bowls of rice. The food was good and the price quite reasonable. All in, it was under AUD100. Happy to recommend this place for Chinese food.

I normally have a higher standard for Chinese restaurants, but this one is quite good. We ordered four dishes and liked all of them. The chicken pot is a bit pricey but the dish itself is huge. We are thinking to visit them again this weekend. Since it's in Brisbane, I think it is better to explain what's Mao Xue Wang in the menu. I'm not from Beijing but I still don't know what does this dish includes, not to mention people not from China.

It is a northern Chinese restaurant, so I won't recommend you to try any southern dishes like braised seafood and bean curd hot pot. Their dishes are delicious and big in portion. Ideal for someone who like spicy Chinese dishes and noodles.

I've had breakfast at all the 4+ rated places in West end over the last week, Eros has clearly been the best. Good coffee, delicious fresh juices ($6.50), and a good selection of yum breakfasts in the $10-15 range. Perfect service as well. The only thing you can fault the place for is atmosphere, but I don't really care about that.

The ambience is great! As are the prices. The food was just ok though.

Cabbage and beef was extremely salty and there was only 7 tiny slices of beef. So if you're sharing, each person gets only 1 or 2 slices. Fish soup was extremely sour. Mapo tofu had too much pepper.

I recently just moved to Brisbane and so happy to find this chinese restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic and the service is friendly. I’ve been back for so many times already. Highly recommended.

I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant that seems specialize in Sichuan style cuisine. While the ambiance was decent, the food was a letdown. As someone who grew up in the region, I found the dishes to be poorly executed and lacking in authenticity. It's disappointing and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine Sichuan dining experience.

Not recommended... All dishes ordered are too salty with a small portion and overpriced. Especially for the chicken feature dish(near $40), the only taste in my mouth is salt, salt and salt, and the size of chicken likes fingernails...

Dining in on Monday. Even not many people in the restaurant, but I still wait for 40 min get nothing. Waiter told me many people order it using app and take away. But this is a dining in restaurant. Very bad experience.

This cafe was the perfect place for Sunday brunch. The coffee was made perfectly. Though breakfast was a slight wait (not unusually long for 2 big brekkies), the food was so worth it!
