Honestly, I am giving you a 1 star, because I cant give 0 or negative stars. I have been calling all morning, and I have made 225 calls. And the line was busy every time. ARE YOU SO BUSY??!!! If I come to the surgery, I am not allowed to enter, because I don't have a pre-booked appointment. If no one picks up the phone, how can I get an appointment??? I tried yesterday and at 9:30, someone picked up the call telling me that all the appointments for that day are over, and I need to ring again tomorrow at 8 am, and if it is urgent, I need to go to the walk in centre. Not every time, every condition is urgent, but we still need to see the GP to understand if it is urgent or not. So honestly, you need to buy a phone with a queue system, so I know if I am number 1 or 5, and can hold the line. And if your phones are already good, then get a new receptionist!!

Being with this surgery is as good as not being with one! For 3 weeks I have been calling in the morning, i start calling at 7.59 before they open, right off the bat I'm always 20+ in the queue... takes around 45 mins to get through to a receptionist who then tells me there are no appointments.... 3 weeks!! The last time I called I repeated the above steps.. this time for a child.. again... no appointments... the receptionists are not helpful at all! They will see you and ignore you.. time for a change I'm surgery I think...

I want to give them no stars, but that's not possible, that's why I gave one. For two weeks I have been calling the surgery up daily for an appointment, but I have never gotten one. When I went to the surgery in person, I was told to book an appointment over the phone. So today I started calling up from 7:30am when the surgery was still closed. As soon as my call connected at 8, I was caller number 21 in the queue. It seems to me that they have an automatic system where they put you very far down the queue to appear busy. I still waited in the queue to get an emergency appointment as I have a uti infection that needs to be seen by the GP. When it got to my turn, all the appoinents had ran out for the day, AGAIN. If I'm only going to be seen by the walking center then why is this useless surgery being funded by the NHS.

You wait 20 minutes to get to a receptionist and they end the call after saying we don't have any free appointments today. At least provide us with an alternative! And if you can't cope with the amount of patients, why take more on? However, 2nd experience (may 2023) was much better than the above. Receptionist got me an appointment promptly and doctor was very nice

I contacted the surgery because my 88 year old mother is in chronic pain and has been for 6 weeks. I requested that she have a face-2-face with a doctor. Stroppy receptionist told me she didn't have any? I thought this was a doctors surgery?? I was completely fobbed off! Receptionist was shockingly rude. If I thought for one minute my Mum had been spoken to like that I'd be reporting them, and worst still, I don't have a doctors appointment for my mother but have been fobbed off with the nurse practitioner!! Appallling Highlands, you should be ashamed of yourselves. As for the owners, beware - I will be sending a formal complaint about your awful service to the CCG.

Shocking booking system, no help to hard working patients whatsoever - phone at 8am only for an appointment - and then maybe have an appointment in 4 weeks time - appalling! We have been patients for over 30 years and never abuse the system. Totally frustrated!

I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for Thursday at 5pm as I can't get there any other time. This was the only appointment they had and I've been prepared to wait this long. I then get a text informing me my appointment has been rescheduled to 16.20. I cannot make that appointment and now have to go to the walk-in centre. This is not acceptable and I am absolutely fuming !

Would be no stars if I could, used to be outstanding, the old receptionists couldn't do enough to help, this team go out of their way to do the least possible, no compassion or empathy, rude and dismissive. Absolutely appalling, they were assessed as good last year, unbelievable!

The reception is behond a joke .. I came out of hospital last week after life threatening surgery.. As from Monday I ran out off my shakes that feed me and pain killers.. its now Thursday and still nothing ... I don't think they understand how important it is for me to have them as thats what feeds me .. so if I end up back in hospital I will be holding them personally responsible... never had a problem with the doctors always them...

Complete circus of incompetency. Staff have no awareness of patients' GDPR. Both receptionists and Doctors can be rude and clearly don't understand patients' needs. Obviously the NHS is struggling, but it doesn't take much to be kind/ try to be human being for one second and help.

Think the overall rating is entirely unfair for this surgery and certainly doesn’t reflect my personal experience. Yes, it’s difficult to get appointments and yes sometimes you can be waiting for an hour on the phone to get through but I think that’s more indicative of the underfunding and overstretching of GPs up and down the UK than any poor practice. I had my routine bloods done recently and brought an ailment up that had been troubling me in passing and the kind nurse called me the next day to tell me that she had been thinking about it overnight and had some recommendations. She booked me in with a different nurse whom I spent around half an hour with (feel like they really take the time to listen and explain and care) who really helped me. The day after the same nurse called with a follow up appointment with a doctor for the following week, who I saw today. He was an extension of their great attitude. Again took c.40 mins doing various checks, explaining things in layman’s terms and really helping me. Actually I think each of the staff I’ve been in contact with has gone above and beyond and they probably don’t hear praise enough! Thank you!

I came to see dr Mohamed khan about my ambulance visit last night and my ecg results showing Supraventricular abnormalities. He basically said we already referred you to the heart specialist and that’s all we can do. He ddnt even take my blood pressure or did any kind of checks at all , basically just said we referred you that’s all I can do I’m afraid. My blood pressure is already very low and he ddnt even have the decency to check or ask me how I was feeling. Wow

I was sent here via the Yorkshire Health Solutions for an ultrasound on the 9/11. I’m not a patient at this practice but I found it easy to find. The doctor and the nurse who performed the scan were so lovely, kind and friendly. Completely put me at ease even though I turned up crying due to being in so much pain. They were so thoughtful and were always asking if I was doing OK and if I was in pain (I have endometriosis so scans like this cause me a great deal of pain). They distracted me with lots of chatting and explained each step thoroughly so I knew what to expect. By the end of my appointment they both had me laughing and smiling again. I felt like they both genuinely cared. I wish I knew their names to thank them properly but hopefully this review will be passed on to them both. Thank you again ladies!

Worst GP practice ever. My mum had fluid in her legs & was prescribed steroid creams this was last summer & has been treated for a chest infection since last year.. fast forward a year.. She had fluid all over her body! Legs, feet, hands abdomen, her right breast and her face. GP sent her for a CT scan for “ovarian cancer” 7 weeks ago. 4 weeks into waiting for the CT scan results she had a fall because she was immobile due to the fluid & breathlessness i had to get emergency services out she had all the typical signs and symptoms of heart failure!! Yet the GPs failed to even pay attention to anything she was telling them. Dr at TGH took one look at my mum & her sats and was 99.9% sure she had heart failure why was she fobbed off by the GPs here???? She was admitted to TGH on the 12th she died on the 18th 5 days it took for her to be end of life, she had end stage COPD community acquired pneumonia & stage 4 heart failure. YOU failed & neglected my mum in every way possible & she was left to suffer & be fobbed off for over a 12 month period! She couldn't get appts & when she did get an appt she wasn’t listened too.

Getting an appointment to see a Dr is almost impossible and the 8am scramble where everyone has to ring up at the same time to find there are no appointments left still goes on !!!! Don't they understand - it's not rocket science is it? However the NURSES I have seen have been brilliant. Nicola explained my bloodtest results and Michelle was lovely too. The nurses are a credit to this surgery and is the only thing that stops me from changing my Drs.

😠 Truly awful experience. The practice is almost impossible to contact to start off with. I could list a myriad of concerns with the practice but here are the main ones which I am following up with a formal complaint. The eventual face to face visit I got for my father was appalling. 😠 It's really difficult to get an appointment via the 8am phone in. Sadly they are still registering new patients whilst it's almost impossible to get to see a Doctor now.
