    This is the only rating I can give because I've never had an appointment with the doctor. I don't even know their name and I have been registered here for over a year. I've called many times, but usually just get hung up on because they're too busy. Appointments are for THAT DAY only so if you can't get through, well that's that then. I have rang them and was on hold for half an hour. So I walked to the surgery, 20mins later (still on hold), and pressed the buzzer outside and tried to make an appointment. "Appointments can only be done over the phone." I informed them I'd been on the phone to them for 50mins. When I was inside, no one was answering a phone, despite my phone still being connected. I then booked an appointment to see the nurse for a flu jab, to then arrive to say I can't have it because I have an egg allergy. So a complete and utter waste of time.

    It would seem that the people employed at the surgery are being paid for doing nothing, no one picks up the phone no doctors are available and as for replying to letters it would seem not to be in the job description, the NHS are paying for a very expensive telephone recording as it would seem the place is empty. It would be very interesting to see if they treat or see any one at all. In summary, not poor but shocking service and should be closed down and all the staff dismissed

    Absolute joke of a GP surgery, can't make a phone appointment even if you manage to get through after HOURS upon hours listening to the hold music. I went into the surgery with my phone still ringing in my pocket, there was nobody waiting and the receptionist was just sat at the desk listening to the phone ringing and not answering it. have made a complaint to local MP and will be contacting the ombudsman, something needs to be done about this practice.

    Awful service. You cannot get an appointment for love nor money, as everyone else has said. Been trying to get my test results for weeks, as every time I call I’m on hold in the same position in the que for 30-40 mins before I put the phone down. My advice would be to change surgery.

    I was on hold tonight again for 2 hrs and 39 mins. I finally got cut off when I’m assuming they decided to go home. I was number 1 in the queue for over 2 hrs. Shocking. It’s not the first time this has happened what do their staff do on a Friday afternoon, no way were they that busy from half 3 till closing on a Friday afternoon. I was there earlier in the week when someone was out on hold whilst they ‘spoke to the secretary’ whilst I was in the queue, she went and grabbed 2 drinks from the back, had a quick chat with the other receptionist about fireworks and then gave the blood guy the samples when he came to collect them, she eventually answered the phone again and she said the secretary will ring you, she never spoke to any secretary

    If I could give no stars I would!! Been on the phone now for an hour in que position number 1, I have a chest infection and tonsillitis. Last week I needed my prescription dosage higher, i tried ringing and got no answer. Definitely will be changing my doctors. Failsworth group practice is absolute dog s**t

    I dont have a problem with the doctors or nurses they are very good,. the problem is trying to get through on the phone to make an appointment. if you have time to sit and wait on the phone for at least 3 hours but by the time you get through there are no appointments left. and have to go through the same thing the next day then the next then next. used to be quicker to walk over a mile to it on crutches, and speak to reception. but cant even do that now. it is a pity it has come to this.

    One of the WORST Doctors ever. Absolutely incompetent Staff, impossible to get an appointment even when calling at 8am. Was told to go down to make an appointment with the Receptionist only to be told they don't that anymore! Useless Surgery, so glad I moved to another Practice, I'm annoyed I have to give it 1 star instead of none!!

    THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE!!! 39 minutes on hold and position number 3 and then....... Yes, you probably already know by now, (if you have read any if the other reviews for FGP) CUR OFF!! Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhh😡!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, If you value your health and expect to be able to get an appointment when you feel unwell, DON'T JOIN FAILSWORTH FAMILY GROUP PRACTICE 🙏. Ps The inability to run an adequate health service for 1000's of Failsworths residents who are unfortunate enough to be patient's there, has progressively worsened year on year, not sure WHY local Mp's haven't demanded changes be made as a matter of URGENCY 🤔😔.

    I can’t believe I’m reviewing a GP. Also l know that ot’s closing down (thankfully) soon, so at least there’s that. The people at the desk have always been lovely and l do understand a lot of the issues have nothibg to do with them. The quality of care is however appalling, I’m counting down the days for this place to close and be incorporated into Quayside, hopefully without bringing the ‘doctors’ along with them.

    Apart from the occasional grocery shop my main reason for visiting Failsworth is to call in at the health care centre every so many weeks (on appointments). I find the staff really welcoming reasuring and friendly. My main reason for attending the riverside healthcare is to have regular blood tests Following a heart valve operation three years ago. There's not a bad thing to be said about this healthcare centre, Unless your ever late that is. Seriuosly though this is very efficient centre. Also Within this location is a optician which i popped into recently. Again i found friendly smiles and an immediately helpful approach from the staff within the optician. Overall i would say you can't go wrong paying a visit to this healthcare centre in Failsworth.

    Been to the centre 2 times after a long time A nurse yesterday and a doctor today both where really kind and the Doctor was very caring as I struggled to hear him but my grandaughter managed to tell me what he said I was suitably inpresses with both of them I don't know the doctors name as he hasent been there very long but would be pleased if I got to see him and the nurse next time (but not to soon ) Ha

    i went here bc i had chicken pox and the doctor told me to get out of her office because i had covid. she also told me the rashes on my face were rashes from covid. i later went to get a covid test... it was negative ☠

    Attended a outpatient clinics for chiropodist and was seen on time. Excellent advice and treatment given.
