Dr Karen Shaw is always running at least 45 mins late, she was not compassionate when it came to my concerns and said that some of my medical concerns should be put on the back burner for the moment. I had seen her multiple times before and for my last consult I was charged for a long consult after waiting for over an hour, I saw her for 20 minutes to discuss test results and for a referral. When I called the practice to clarify they said it was charged like that because of paper work having to be filed by the doctor.

I first started seeing Dr McKeon in the late 1980’s and I have loved her approachability, professionalism, medical acumen and kindness. I live a long way away from her surgery now but I still visit her surgery for reassurance and to reacquaint myself every few years. She never changes in my estimation and I look forward to seeing her when I get the chance to see her.

No complaints about the doctor, he was helpful and knowledgeable. My problem was with the practice. As a new customer I was not told I would need a mask to enter. The receptionist let me walk right through the waiting area and up to the counter without a mask. When I said I don't have one, she insisted that I purchase one before I could see the doctor. She refused to let me pay for it with my consultation fee, instead making me pay separately. $1 for a disposable mask from a huge box! She then finished checking me in before handing me the mask, making me stand in the middle of the reception area maskless while she filled out paperwork. I wore the mask for 2mins sitting by myself in a corner near nobody, before going into the doctors office where he immediately told me I could take it off again. Very poor. Enforcing rules they obviously don't consider important and profiteering off it too. My intention had been for this to be my regular GP as it is close to my work, but because of a single dollar they will instead never see me again.

Best doctors' surgery in Brisbane. I travel across town to see Dr. Karyn Huntley, who has been my GP for the past five years. I don't know what I'll do if she ever stops practising The level of care here is exceptional. All the doctors are brilliant. My friend loves this practice so much she used to travel all the way from Toowoomba to see her GP.

I have consistently had a fantastic experience at Milton Village Medical. We see Dr Katherine Richie, a highly skilled, knowledgeable GP who is great with my two small children. When we have seen other doctors at the practice they have all be just as fabulous and completely across our family's medical history. I would not hesitate recommending Milton Village Medical, a family-friendly practice with an excellent team.

First booked an appointment with this practce as reccommended by a friend after experiencing poor service at another practice. Dr Katherine Shanley was excellent. Listened to everything I had to say and seemed to genuinely care. Did not feel rushed and she would clearly explain any medications she pescribed and what to expect from taking them. This clinic is not local to me but is worth the travel time.

Dr Kirstie Gow is by far one of the most comforting, kind, supportive, intelligent and proactive doctors I have ever come across. She is patient and listens to your concerns, always offers her opinion and advice, but will inevitably do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable, healthy and safe. She is not judgemental about results, always approaches every situation calmly and is just, all round, an amazing person. I could not recommend her more if I tried! Plus, she works at a truly beautiful facility that’s filled with friendly and supportive staff. Every experience at Milton Village Medical, and with Kirstie Gow, is a good one.

Have been seen multiple times by Dr. Katherine Shanley who is always very professional, knowledgable and easy to talk to. Staff are always friendly and the new practice is fresh and modern. Would highly recommend.

The quality of service has deteriorated, while simultaneously, the greed by which the Doctors here try to make money has increased. For example, just in the last 3 months, I had to pay the full price for my daughter's follow up consultation, pay $1 for a mask which was handed to me about 5 min after I entered the practice, and I received very unsatisfying medical services, focusing on non-existing potential future health problems with a view to try and sell me additional services. The praxis has lost its human care factor and feels more like a car mechanic. A shame.

Thanks Dr Steve for fitting me in at short notice for my immunisations. Hayley, the clinic nurse was awesome and I didn't feel the injection at all.

I have been coming to this practice for years, including when they were located in the Barracks. My regular doctor Karyn Huntley is incredibly efficient, kind, and always takes the time to follow up on past issues and forewarn of needed checkups for the future etc and give valuable advice and referrals where needed. I have also seen other doctors throughout the years and their standard of care is also fantastic. Dr Kate Richie also stands out as an attentive and empathetic doctor. Highly recommend this practice if you are after doctors (and nurses) who do not rush you through and take the time to listen and provide exceptional follow up care with no diagnosis or details left unnoted. Yes, masks are sometimes required, but this is due to government regulations and isn't a unique requirement of this particular practice, and reading emails or text messages prior to appointment will let you know whether there is currently a mandate in place that requires a mask at medical centres.

Always a good experience. I saw a review on here about Dr Englhofer detecting cancer for a patient. Dr Englhofer saved my father’s life by doing additional tests that other surgeries had not done and discovering stage 4 cancer. I also see her for my complex medical situation where I have every diagnosis under the sun. Never judged by Dr Englhofer and she always gets to the bottom of it. My son sees Dr Dimitri excellent experience also

Dr Kirsti Gow is our regular GP and is a very thorough, caring doctor. When she moved to this practice, we transferred to continue seeing her. Since then, I have also seen Dr Kate Ritchie and Dr Lesley Englhofer, both of whom were fantastic. I find it easy to book, cancel and change appointments through HotDoc for this practice, but also have had no problem scheduling a last minute appointment over the phone. The reception staff have always been helpful and polite.

Dr LESLEY ENGLHOFER is the most amazing doctor. I had to use another GP for a visit and they told me nothing is wrong. Fact is Dr Englhofer has saved my life by insisting I have further tests. She found my cancer early and hopefully this gives me a good outcome. Other doctors missed it. So the long and the short is use Dr Englhofer is you want the BEST GP IN BRISBANE. Thanks Lesley.

There are many good intelligent doctors here, many part time, which I guess allows them to be open 7 days per week. Good referrals too, great when you need one. Parking is sometimes difficult. CharlieD

Honestly I am Appalled at how you can book an appointment via hot doc a month before, confirm the day before that you will be attending only to be told 2 hours before the appointment oh sorry you can attend because you daughter hasn’t been here before oh and neither have you in a really long time, Are you bloody serious!! You charge $150 approx for a long consultation which we were happy to pay but because the patient is new although other family members are not you can’t see them. Absolutely disgusting that you didn’t bother to let us know this when we booked a month ago. Will never attend this practise again!!!

Have been visiting this clinic for years since Barracks, but nowI I’m really disappointed with this place. Was specially asked to be booked with my GP several weeks in advance. The booking was confirmed, and when I came in, I said again, that I have an appointment with her. Instead, without saying anything, I was just taken to another doctor. No explanation, no one said that my doctor was not available. It was not nice, because I needed to go to GP earlier, but was specially waiting to see my doctor. The new GP was good, but still I didn’t like that I wasn’t told anything that I’m seeing a different doctor this time. Also, paid a full cost of $190 for a psychology consultation only because was told at the reception that I could definitely claim it with Medicare. No one mentioned the referral. I’m very new to Medicare and specially asked about the process. If I knew, I would never booked it because I couldn’t afford paying the full cost and could go for free at my workplace. Very disappointing. I think it’s time to find another GP clinic.

Great new modern practise, had a few visits with some quality doctors who take the time to listen. Will definitely be back and very happy to say they will be my regular practise from now on.
