I wish I had read the reviews about Dr Anna prior to booking at this medical centre. I renew a prescription every couple months and Dr Anna seems to be the only one available which is fine. No care is really shown and she 'ask questions' (more so statements, with a yes at the end and will ask 5 questions in the space of 10 seconds its so rushed that you don't understand and get to answer). I had a test done by Dr Anna (which left my bleeding for a few days as she was so rough) and received a txt message from Dr Anna to make an appointment as she needs to discuss my test results with me. Obviously receiving a message like this is concerning and stressful as one would think if a Dr ask you to come in to discuss your results, its come back positive (whether mild or severe) so I immediately left work early as I was stressing and the second I sat down in her office I get ' Your result is negative, any questions'?..... I was honestly shocked. She clearly just wanted to charge the government for her standard consult fee. The stress that this cause just so she can bill my consult is disgusting. I didn't even bother telling her about how rough she was with me as I will be booking in at a different medical centre. I am a little disappointed with the clinic as they have clearly received a lot of negative comments/reviews about Dr Anna and she is still there. I am a person that NEVER leaves a review however I hope this helps someone in the future in deciding to book with Dr Anna again. One positive is Steve at the front desk, he is super friendly and welcoming!

I don’t usually write negative reviews but in this case I felt the need to. First time at this practice, I was hoping to find a new long-term GP, as the one I usually go to is fully booked. Dr Anna Kozii was the only doctor available at the time. Dr Anna greeted us with a smile but during the appointment she began rushing through questions and not really giving me any time to answer them, she didn’t seem to care about or pay attention to what I was saying. I would try to explain my situation to her or answer questions and she would speak over me and abruptly cut me off. She didn’t ask me exactly what I wanted out of the appointment, rather she just assumed. She didn’t care about my needs at all and was just trying to rush me out the door. I could sort of understand the speed if the practice was full but I was the ONLY patient in the practice at the time. I received the certificate I needed, however because Dr Anna wasn’t properly listening to me she filled out the certificate incorrectly and carelessly, and because of that I had to call the practice and they asked me to come back a few hours later (4:30pm) on the same day to have her fix the error. We weren’t seen until 5pm and the mistake was corrected in about 30 seconds. The appointment overall felt extremely rushed and Dr Anna showed little to no care, I almost felt like I was burdening her by being there. Patient well-being is clearly not a priority for her. As I went to write this review I noticed a plethora of similar reviews regarding Dr Anna from both the Coomera practice and the now closed Helensvale practice, and I wonder why she hasn’t taken this criticism into consideration. It’s a shame, I think I will try my luck with the other doctors at this practice.

First visit and will never return. Only good thing about my experience was the wonderful pink haired nurse! Guy at reception treats you like an inconvenience if you approach the counter while he’s busy. If you don’t like your busy job, find a new one! Absolutely disgusting! He’s also fine with being on the phone and telling colleagues “yeah, they’re a real pain in the ass” with a waiting room full of patients. Well these “pain in the asses” keep you having a job mate. Wish I read the reviews before I visited. I can also confirm that Dr Anna rushed through my appointment, after showing up 20 minutes late for work. Useless reception should have said Anna wasn’t in yet and that I’d be waiting. This place is a joke!

Absolutely amazing!! Having just moved to Australia I was a little nervous about finding a new Dr as I've had the same one for 10 + years, both Steve & Dr Daniel have made every visit very pleasant. Steve is so kind, wonderful and funny!! Dr Daniel made me feel so comfortable, he is so kind, thorough, and very proactive. Oh and not to mention how lovely the nurse I saw today is (I'm sorry I've forgotten her name), she was extremely personalable kind and professional. Very happy and impressed!! Thank you all 😊

Dr Daniel is absolutely amazing! He is so caring and kind and really takes the time to listen (unlike many doctors I have come across in the past). He's very knowledgeable and GENUINELY cares about his patients. Steve at reception is awesome too, super friendly and helpful. I'm so happy to have found this practice!

Dr Daniel Bekkier is one of the most knowledgeable , compassionate and thorough just to name a few , Doctors I have ever meet . I trust his advice and medical guidance for me and my family . I visited this practice today for the first time, seeing Dr Daniel and I was very impressed. It doesn't happen often enough when you see a Dr for the first time and they want to get to know you, your medical history etc before examining you. I was impressed with Dr Daniel's patient manner, he was thorough and willing to take the time to listen. I will definitely be back, he may even be my new GP from now on. Definitely recommend Dr Daniel.

After years of doctor hopping I have finally found my place! Steven at the front desk is just fabulous, he truly understands good customer service and the important role that he plays for people who are sick and distressed! I’d go there for him alone, he’s gold - so refreshing from years of dealing with dragonious gate keepers! Then Dr Daniel picks right up from Steven, taking the time to really listen. He is thorough, meticulous and genuinely interested in (me being in) optimal health. This is me now, I’m going to be a patient for life! ☺️

I have just emigrated to Australia and I was really struggling with my anxiety!! So I walked into this doctors today And immediately I felt very warm and welcomed After reception! Immediately he could say I was struggling So he booked me an appointment with the doctor the doctor was absolutely fantastic there was absolutely fantastic gave me the medication that I needed . So I do recommend this walking doctor's surgery to anyon in Australia or overseas !!

We visited this practice twice this week and both times had to see Dr Anna Kozii. We went in to get my daughters medication for ADHD. My wife only carried the box of her current medication and not the original diagnosis letter. Dr Anna said that she couldn't give us the script because we didn't have the original diagnosis letter. Didn't take long for her to bill Medicare. Went back there today and unfortunately had to see the same Dr as there were no other appointments. This time I went in with the original diagnosis letter. Dr Anna said that the letter was too old (dated December 2020) and that I would need to go back to get a new letter from the psychiatrist (2 month wait list to see the psychiatrist and a $500 consultation fee). After speaking to the front desk manager at the practice, he was quick to assist and resolve this for me. He called the Pharmacy to get some advice and then spoke to the Dr to get the script which I eventually got. I have previously used Dr Daniel at this practice and he was so helpful. He even called me to give me by blood test results without me having to make an appointment. The practice manager went above and beyond to assist, it's unfortunate that Dr Anna isn't as helpful or proactive as the front desk manager.

Doctor Daniel and Steve are an absolute asset to this Practice. Steve always makes you feel extremely welcome and makes me smile and brightens my day every time i attend the surgery. Its extremely refreshing compared to other surgeries. Nothing is to much trouble and he is extremely fantastic at his job. Doctor Daniel is hands down the BEST Doctor i have ever seen! He actually cares about you and your health. He asks questions to get to know you and you medical history. He is the first Doctor I have come across who is genuine and cares about what your concerns are. He has gone above and beyond for me and my husband on every visit. He follows up with phone calls when needed to make sure everything is ok. Even when my husband is not with me he always asks about him and if everything is ok. My husband has had serious health issues that i would not trust with any other Doctor. I am extremely happy that Doctor Daniel is our permanent Doctor. We never get rushed and always tries to answer any questions we may have. There may be some negative feedback about a certain person but do NOT let that discourage you from giving this surgery and Doctor Daniel and visit. You will be extremely grateful you did. I had lost all faith in Doctors as you feel like just number and rushed. Finding this surgery with Steven and Doctor Daniel has truly restored my faith. This has been the best decision i have made for me and my families health. Thank you Steven and Doctor Daniel for always making us feel welcome and being amazing in every way!

I've been a patient at this practise for nearly 12 months since moving here from NSW. I can honestly say Dr Daniel Bekkier is the best GP, I've ever had. He is very knowledgeable in his profession, very caring and also a great listener. Always goes that extra yard to understanding your ailment. He has a funny sense of humour too, which makes your appointment, even better. On a last note, I'd like to mention Steve at the reception. His PR skills are excellent. Always greets you by your first name, on each visit, and will attempt to squeeze you in between appointments if your health situation is urgent. The Coomera Family Practice is a very professional and well organised address.

I have read so many good reviews of Dr Daniel Bekker, and decided to book an appointment with him. The reviews of him being kind, compassionate and caring are not only true; it is his natural predisposition. A genuine humanistic doctor.

I have been going to this clinic since I moved to Coomera 5 years ago. Steve has always been so welcoming and very helpful, especially if I am needing an urgent appointment for myself or my children. Dr Sidenko has been amazing for our family. She is very thorough, takes the time and listens to your concerns and needs. She has been great throughout multiple pregnancies and care for both newborns and my older children. I have also seen Dr Daniel and he is also very thorough and these are by far the best two doctors I have seen. It's always a pleasure (as much as it can be) when going to the doctors ☺️ The nurses are also rockstars when it comes to immunisations, iron infusions and general infant health checks!

I am visiting the Gold Coast and booked an appointment with Dr Sidenko at Coomera Family Practice. Absolutely a great experience all around. Dr Sidenko was very thorough and patient with us even though what we thought was going to be a short visit for the needs we had turned into quite a long appointment. Very grateful for her patience and understanding. The receptionist is one of the best I’ve ever come across. Very helpful and an amazing person to connect with. What impressed me the most was the minimal wait time; I didn't have to endure long waits to see a doctor. I first saw Dr Sidenko when I had an extremely debilitating unknown illness. Two days later she contacted me on a public holiday ( with no appointment) to follow up and check as she was concerned about my condition. No other doctor would do this. She ensures to test for issues others miss. After no feedback or medical advice fom another practice, she recently referred me for investigations of a lung issue, which the radiologist considered likely cancer. She is thorough and will see you no matter how busy she is if you have an active concerning medical condition. Then you get Steve to manage appointments! How good is he? TOTALLY on the ball , and handling everything so efficiently. This is a great practice.

I have been on the Gold Coast over 42yrs, I used to have a brilliant doctor who was also a surgeon. He would tell me to bring our children to his house after hours when they were ill. When he left the Coast we were devastated thinking we will never find a family Dr as good. Well that changed when I went and saw Daniel Bekkier at Coomera Family Practice, he was extremely thorough and felt very genuine like a close friend. He picked up on things that were wrong with me that other Dr's did not, and being a Urologist was an absolute bonus. I drive a bit of a distance to see him but its worth it. Steve at the front counter is running an extremely good practise ensuring all patients get the best service. Highly recommended.

The absolute BEST medical practice I have ever been too! (yes I am a regular patient) I could not recommend Dr Daniel Bekkier enough! He is truly the most caring and empathetic Dr. He always gives you his full attention and finds the best medical advice, solution/outcome. I have complete trust in him to care for not only myself but also my family including children. Steve at the front desk is very helpful and understanding. Me and my friend have both been seeing DR. Daniel since March 2022. He is very helpful, patient and makes you feel comfortable. He explained everything in detail about our blood tests, gave recommendations and every time we hear someone talk about their problems we direct them to come visit Dr.Daniel.

Dr Daniel has been fantastic in diagnosis of and supporting me with a complex chronic pain case. He was persistent in the pursuit of “finding an answer”, and has referred me correctly to a couple of specialists that have provided more guidance. I had a consultation with Dr Daniel today, he’s professionalism , care , bedside manner was excellent, he took the time to explain all my test results in detail and made them easy to understand. Each time I’ve seen him he’s approached every issue on its individual merits . I’m so glad to find traditional family doctor who’s goal is only his patients health. Dr Daniel is also always prompt which is rare for any business on the Gold Coast. I have recommended many of my friends and family members to this practise because of Dr Daniel.

I have been looking for a Dr for about 4 years, have been to so many drs and couldn’t find someone as good as my last Dr. Ive seen Viktoria once before and she was fantastic! Due to my medical issues, I generally need a Dr within a day or two, last minute and she’s been booked out in advance (which I totally understand because she’s good).. I decided to see Dr Daniel B, thought what are the chances of 2 good drs at one practice and he’s just as fantastic! He took the time to do tests, listen to me and find out what’s going on! Thank you so much for helping me!

Firstly I will say that Steve (front reception) is great and always so welcoming. But I am very disappointed with my outcome with DR Daniel. I became a patient of his a few months back and was very happy with him but as soon as I started coming for mental health matters I noticed a switch and he became very blunt and not sympathetic at all for what I was going through, no explanations of tests results that I had or even a simple question of how I’m doing with my new anti depressants, super disappointed and won’t be coming back for this only issue.

Can't speak highly enough of Dr Daniel Bekkier. He is very thorough and caring in consults and does not make you feel rushed at all! He's happy to listen and completely understanding especially regarding mental health matters. Very glad to have found a good GP like him.

Dr Daniel has been completely amazing. After having a very bad experience with Dr Anna speaking to Daniel has been so refreshing. He is by far the most understanding and caring doctor I have ever seen. Could not recommend him enough.
