I went and saw Dr Peter for a varicose vein in my leg. I'm in my early 40's and the vein was getting worse and starting to be painful. The initial consultation was very thorough, the treatment specifics well explained and the treatment quick and painless. The post treatment procedure was simple and well explained. I felt safe from the moment I met Dr Peter as he explained every detail regarding the veins in my legs and the recommended procedures. From the moment I walk in the door of Paras Clinic I feel welcome. I am always greeted by Sam's friendly smile and we have a chat and catch up while I wait to be seen by Peter. I had my veins treated by Dr Peter and I am so happy with my results. At the new patient appointment, Dr Peter was kind and understanding about my ugly veins. I had been experiencing tiredness in my legs and felt it was the right time to get my legs fixed. I had a full comprehensive ultrasound scan at the time and the results were discussed with me, along with the treatment required. I also got to take home an information folder to read. On the treatment day, I was so impressed with the staff's ability to keep me relaxed. I had laser ablation and sclerotherapy. The procedure itself was very straightforward and relatively pain-free. I walked out of the clinic in my stockings and went for a nice walk in the nearby park. A couple of follow-up check-ups and treatments and my legs feel fantastic and my symptoms are all gone! I would highly recommend Dr Peter and his team.

My first experience at Vein Health was to have some troubled veins removed. My legs felt heavy, achy and were sore to touch. Dr.Peter was very informative and gave me lots to think about. He was very understanding and listened to all of my concerns. His staff were warm and welcoming. I was made to feel at ease each time I visited the clinic. I had several veins treated, the attention and care provided each time was professional and extremely personable. After treatment my legs felt less achy and heavy. The shape of my legs continued to bother me as I was not comfortable to wear shorts or dresses. I had lipoedema on my lower limbs which made my legs hurt to touch. I was unable to kneel and bruised easily when my legs were knocked. When I spoke to Dr.Peter he provided me with detailed information and costings for a Liposculpture procedure. He encouraged me to go away and think about the risks and benefits. He never tried to influence my decision one way or the other. It was evident that he wanted what was best for me! After having the procedure it has made a huge difference to the quality of my life. I feel more confident to wear shorts and dresses and the pain is no longer present. I liked Dr Paraskevas before I even met him, as his receptionist said he recommended taking photos of my problem peri orbital veins and sending to him via email before our initial appointment, as the appointment would be expensive and he wanted to know whether he thought he could help before potentially wasting my time and money. After he reviewed my (less than flattering!) photos he felt confident that he could help and recommended an appointment be made. I found him to be very friendly and he made me feel at ease straight away. He is obviously very experienced, and I found him to be very professional and confident in what he does. Thoroughly impressed with Dr Peter and staff regarding my treatment. I felt very much like someone who mattered and for whom you wanted to take the time to ensure the best result possible given my situation. Sam made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I walked in the door. She managed to combine efficiency and a real sense of caring for me throughout the whole process which for me occurred over a few months. I did have swelling in my legs and ankles, especially in the heat, and at the end of the day or if I went on a plane. My legs felt heavy and just didn’t want to move quite as well as they should – especially annoying because I try to keep fit and I am active. I am so glad I did though.
