I visited Vision Clinic with badly deteriorating eyesight. I spent half an hour with a junior doctor then 10 minutes with Dr Kumar. Left with a bill just shy of $500 and a minor dry eye diagnosis. After a few weeks and some prompting I received a report which had errors regarding my personal details and no mention of cataracts. Went to a dry eye specialist and received alternate treatments that helped much more than those suggested here. Went to another opthalmologist and was promptly diagnosed with cataracts. Vision clinic contacted me q.few times to come back but I'm not sure why. Maybe if I paid a few more sessions they might have noticed that I've got cataracts.

Dr Kumar and staff are professional, caring, and personable, and the clinic is impeccably clean. Dr Kumar helped me with my dry eye syndrome, which improved by 80% since the first time I saw him in 2018. He also corrected my vision with the SMILE procedure earlier this year. I recommended Dr Kumar to my friends; one of them has already seen him for Lasik and is also very happy with the results.

Dr Kumar literally changed my life. After seeing another eye specialist around four years ago regarding laser eye surgery, I was terrified to proceed after being told it would be incredibly painful the first day. So I put it off and in that time my eyes deteriorated even more and I got to the point I couldn’t wear contacts due to irritation. I went to see Dr Kumar and after a long three months of not wearing contacts, having steroids and antibiotics for my eyes, I got to a place where my eyes just scraped through to be able to have laser. It was amazing! It’s done in less than two minutes, and there is no pain during and absolutely not at all painful afterwards. I wish I had done it sooner. He has changed my life as I relied on glasses or contacts on a daily basis. His staff at his clinic are so polite and welcoming and patient, he has the best of the best working in his clinic and you’ll feel right at home with them. Dr Kumar has a great bedside manner and he is caring and honest and sides on the side of caution. He has changed my life and I am so grateful that I found him. If you are thinking about laser eye surgery, do it. It will be the best thing you ever do.

Gina, Sam and Dr Kumar are an excellent team. I would have no hesitation recommending them. They all perform their roles very professionally. Dr Kumar has demonstrated both technical proficiency in diagnosing and operating on my eye condition, but also showed care and compassion in his handling of my case and his communication with me. He and Sam are always willing to endure my endless questions to understand what was going on. As for Gina, every now and then in life you meet someone who is clearly in the right job - Gina is one of those people. Always happy, friendly and very knowledgeable in helping to explain the treatment process and how the payments all work (health fund, medicare, etc). To all 3, thanks for looking after me so well.

It’s been a week since my ASLA procedure and I am pretty confident my vision is 20/20 now. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing yesterday when I walked into work in the city. Everything was crystal clear - I must have looked like a deer in headlights! Even my boss noticed the “glitter in my eyes”. After issues with recurrent corneal errosion, short sightedness, big chunk of sand in the eye and a toddler poke in the eye, I decided try hit a few birds with one stone. Dr. Kumar made my dream come true! I've been wearing glasses for 15 years and the surgery made my life 100% better! An excellent surgeon and with a high standard professionalism. I got my both eyes done with ICL method and Dr. Kumar make sure I was comfortable and aware of every step of the process and how to prepare myself for the surgery. I had a SMILE eye surgery with Dr. Nikhil Kumar and was very satisfied with the result. Prior to the surgery, he was being very professional and transparent by describing the procedure in great detail, mentioning possible risks (very very small chance), and what to expect. The surgery went pretty smooth with the right eye and struggled a little bit for the left eye, but even then it was handled quite professionally. The post surgery control appointments were handled very nicely. Gina is pretty responsive to email and Amanda didn't keep me on waiting for too long after arriving there, she usually called me to have a brief conversation where I can describe my updates and concerns, she would then take note and forward it to Dr. Kumar himself so that when we finally meet, he would already have a knowledge of what's happening without needing me to explain twice. Overall am quite happy about the procedure and would definitely recommend Dr. Kumar for any eye surgery!

This laser eye surgery has completely changed my life, thank you! I have been a glasses and contact lens wearer for 35 years. While I was hesitant about getting this laser correction procedure done because (i) I was worried about the procedure and recovery being painful and (ii) as this is an elective surgery which I have to pay for, at my own expense (instead of going on a holiday). Dr Nilkhil Kumar alleviated all my concerns and I can honestly say, this is one of the best things I have done in my life and I highly recommend it. Dr Nikhil Kumar, completely made me feel at ease. He explained the procedure in detail, and answered all of my questions. I also learnt the equipment he used is outstanding, assisting in making feel confident about the process. Dr Nikhil Kumar's professionalism was very reassuring through the whole process. In the end the whole procedure and recovery was pain free. Whilst it was uncomfortable initially that was for a very short period of time and still pain free during that time. With regards to the cost, I can say it is totally worth every cent. It has completely changed my life. From being unable to walk without reaching for a pair of glasses, to now waking up with 20/20 vision - I highly recommend this procedure to anyone. My only regret was, I wish I had this done 20 years ago, because it is 100% worth it!
