4th floor: I came willingly, but was BA'd (go figure)! The wait to get in took hours!! It's not a Hilton, but staff was friendly with the exception of the 1st guy I met who took my blood and left a whopping contusion which is still visible after 10 days! There wasn't enough staff to cover, so waiting to get anything left many "inmates" cantankerous. There was a little bit of yelling for which the removal of said b_____s was inevitable. When visiting the Dr, each day, your time is rushed, so it's best if you've an idea what to say or ask. It's okay to ask, but don't expect anything in return unless you're wise enough to be compliant and friendly (cheerful)... *pictures are not taken from the facility... Leave valuables at home. Take clothes, but not toiletries. There is a "clothes shop" of donations, but you may not find your size or style 🤔 Oh, the therapist sessions were worth the price of admission! I'm better (and grateful) for having the experience!

Absolutely horrifying. I was baker acted and admitted for being suicidal, and I received no help whatsoever at this place. When I arrived from the hospital, I was forced to wait 8 hours in a locked "waiting" room while staff and laughed and messed around. I was stuck in there with a man who was clearly in psychosis and exposing himself to me and the other patient. Finally, I was taken upstairs where no one acknowledged me for hours. Eventually, I met with Dr. Pascal who was cold and uncaring. Later that day, a staff member cussed out a client for no reason. We were constantly made fun of.The nurses were horrible as well.. if not worse than the techs. half of the time, they would ignore us. I felt as though we were all caged animals being treated like prisoners. How is that supposed to help with depression? It took four days for the staff to bring me up my clothes. I kept having panic attacks, which I never get on the outside. Most of the clients were nice, but others should have clearly been on another psych floor. I can say I'm traumatized by my six days here. PLEASE never send a loved one to this place. It will only make them worse.

I was a patient at this place just a few days ago (the children's ward) and all I can say is it was living hell. It’s not professional at all, the “therapy” is not actual therapy at all. Group therapy was simply sitting in the day room and reviewing our “goals for the day.” “*insert name* did you reach your goal? Yes? Good.” That was group therapy. Kids of all different kinds were put together, those who were facing mental difficulties/suicidal were put with people who should be in juvie. For fighting and even homicidal tendencies. They DONT care about your triggers (even after making you fill out a form about it) I came in for depression and have a very bad experience with not only yelling but fighting, and was subject to it every single day. Not only did this deteriorate my health, but made me feel more sick there then at home. I was scared for my life, it was almost like jail. The staff was not very good. One right out stated, and I quote “I don’t care.” When asked if she even cared about us (jokingly) and she answered such. I nearly passed out (from a medical mistake made by doctor, unprofessional as well) and when I couldn’t walk or see, the nurse told me to go to the front desk. Watching me scale the wall as I tried not to collapse. I was not offered any help until at the front desk. Even though there were nurses stationed in the hallway. I could not see, my vision was spotting and my blood pressure had dropped to a 74 (typically a 100 something) there are few exceptions. There was one nurse that truly made me feel safe and cared about. Who cared about the kids as well as the patients. Thank you to the nurse who came with me when discharged and told me the time. Asked about my book and told me it was going to be okay. She was the only one who vaguely cared about the kids. Everyone else seemed to not care. I do not expect anyone to read this, but if you do. Do not send your children there. It’s not a place of rejuvenation or help. There is no therapy, no active help from doctors. Forget going if you are triggered by yelling, loud noises, fighting, etc. please go somewhere that specializes in mental health, even if more pricey. I went here for three days, and I’m terrified to say the least. I can’t sleep, I have trouble eating and leaving the house. Please don’t go.

*** Attention Beware*** This place is a complete and joke. Upon checking out a patient from their facility they asked if we would you like a copy of medical records, so we fill out the form and leave. We been waiting since June 8th and we have yet to receive the medical records. When we call and ask for someone in the medical records department there’s no answer. Call back again the receptionist gets frustrated and doesn’t even answer and just forwards the call back to the medical records voicemail. I call on a different number and miraculously the receptionist answer my call… I ask to speak to the medical director low and behold doesn’t answer either. This place in my opinion is a insurance scam they milk whatever they can and release the patient. From what I hear if you don’t have insurance they won’t even see you…. Maybe if the insurance company paid a little extra we can get the medical records. This place is supposed to help the mentally unstable, but after bringing a loved one here and dealing with this scam of a facility it would make the sane family members lose their mind.

My daughter had the WORST EXPERIENCE at this facility. One star is too much. The psychiatrist, Dr. Pinchinat, had no compassion. He was very mean and not appropriate in his responses to her! He needs to be reprimanded ! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. she waited 14 hours to be admitted. Sleeping on a lounge chair. the place was dirty and my daughter said she was cleaner by not taking a shower! It took me hours to try to reach a staff member to get information. I had to call 6 times in one day and talk to numerous staff to get a call back from a case manager. It is unfortunate that a place like this is open to those that have mental heath issues.( The way my daughter was treated by this doctor could make her not want to call for help the next time. )

Not my first experience with this hospital, Dr. Sana Qureshi is the worst psychiatrist I every had experience with. Although I am not the patient my loved one is. I sat in waiting room and watched 6 patients come in out of her office in a short period of time . I understand psychiatrist give the medicine, but she does not seem to care that this is a patient who wanted to end there life. Trying to understand my loved one condition should not be rushed, my loved one brought me and the reaction from her was disrespectful and disappointing being a doctor who is treating mental illness. In the middle of my questions she seemed annoyed got up from her desk while I was speaking walked out of office, in front of other patients she said if your not going to take the medicine your wasting my time pretty much is how I felt. I was there because I care for my loved one, he was in total shock of how she responded to my question. I even ask for a diagnosis she did not have a diffinitve one. Even on discharge paper it did not have one. I am writing this review because mental illness is a disease and people die without proper care. No wonder one of faculties she worked at is permanently closed. She needs help more than the patients she treating in my opinion.

One of the worst places I've been to. I'm reading the reviews and all the ones with 1 stars are very much accurate. I had to wait in the waiting room for 10 hours. The staff are not helpful and just downright rude. I had one of the staff members wake me up in the middle of the night, pulling my arm and dragging me randomly to a random room as I was only half awake at the time. As a minor, sometimes they did not allow me to talk with one of my parents who after I was discharged was worried sick about me not calling them daily. There are no therapists available and you only get to see your psychiatrist for 10 minutes a day. The only good thing here was bead time!!!

Currently have a loved one baker acted at this facility. He was taken in on Monday 8/28/23 and it has been well over 72 hours and he has not been released. They refuse to tell him anything and aren’t telling us anything as he is an adult. He was at the emergency room at Mercy and this was the designated facility all the way from coconut grove? There is definitely fraud of some sort going on. Please do not take people you care about here, specially if they have good insurance. You’ll never know what’s going on.

As a mother and a Nurse I am telling you Do Not send your loved ones here! The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional! I am waiting for the Director Dave to call me back as we speak! I was called on Sunday to ask to bring clothes for my child. The clothes was dropped off at 6pm on Sunday. 4am on Monday my child called me to say she didn’t get to shower and still did not get her clothes. I called and spoke with Nurse Angela at 445am who lied to me and said someone was giving my child her toiletries and towel to shower as we speak. At 7am my child said she didn’t get the toiletries or towel and still did not get her clothes which was sitting right at the nurses station with her name on it. She had to cry around 9am for a CNA to give her her clothes. At 11am Monday she still did not get her toiletries to shower. I called and spoke with the Charge Nurse Marie on 3 North at 220pm on Monday and asked her why these items were being denied to my daughter and she said she never got her request. At that moment she did have a CNA give her the items so she can take a shower. The Psychiatrist told my daughter he was going to call me with an update!never heard from him! Tuesday at 708pm my child called stating she was in pain and asked for ibuprofen around 630pm. She didn’t get it until closer to bed time!!! Wednesday- spoke with Nurse Valerie who was condescending in her conversation “oh yeah everyone here knows you are a Nurse!” She was able to transfer me to Dennis who I am guess is the Supervisor. He took all my information to pass on to the director Dave. Let me see how long it takes for him to call me.

This is THE WORST facility I have ever had to deal with. My youngest sister was here for 4 days and there is no communication at all with parents on what is going on with their child. My sister said how filthy the rooms and bathrooms are. Her first night at the facility she was in the waiting room for 13 hrs before they gave her a room and clothes. On the day of her release we had to call them 3 times to ask when she being released. She ended up being released very late in the day. When she came out we realized that she was missing her shoes that she was wearing when she went it. No one helped. The state needs to step into this facility because it is a mess. No care for their own patients especially the children.

Shockingly poor leaving patients at severe risk. A loved one went in seeking help and was sent home a few days later on less medication than they had been on for years and years. I had left 10 messages offering this individuals history and suggestions on what works and what does not. Not a single person would call back. They obviously do not care at all. The only info I received was " we are very short staffed." This individual is now spiraling downward and not willing to take more medication because the Dr told him he does not need them. Dr Pascal (spelling?) should not be practicing medicine as far as I am concerned. He has put this individual as severe risk. For your own sake go up to Palm Beach and use the much better facilities up there. When I called to explain/complain to someone I was told the patient advocate would hopefully get back to me in three days. My guess is that I will not hear from anyone. Hopefully this post will awaken someone who cares. On 9/20/22 I did receive a certified letter saying that they were taking it seriously and were looking into the matter. Some slow progress being made.

My daughter was recently sent to this facility (not by choice). She initially sat in the waiting room for 7 hours to then be placed with the boys. She stated she was scared, the staff was rude, didn't care about them and it felt like prison. The food was horrible and the water tasted like sewage. Between my husband and I we spent the whole day EVERYDAY she was there calling the facility trying to talk to either a nurse or our daughter and the line would just ring and ring and ring. When someone finally answered they had an attitude and never seemed to know anything. While my daughter was there, the doctor (Dr Amols) never once called us to give a status on anything. We left multiple of messages daily, even with the nurse supervisor for the doctor to call us, and he never did. They even kept her beyond the 72hrs with no explanation. We have no clue as to what was done for her while she was there or a plan for the future. I wrote a grievance in regards to the lack of communication on the doctors part and the unprofessionalism of the facility and Jasmine contacted me, but, was aggressive, argumentative, and kept making excuses. She even went as far as to say "well ma'am you brought her here". I then broke it down to her ignorant self that it was the hospital that sent her there. It was definitely not our decision. Especially after seeing their 2.1 rating and many many many negative reviews. After going round and round she then stated she would speak to the doctor and "promised" to call me back the next day and of course I am yet to receive a return phone call. I'm sure nothing will get done, they'll just respond with that same generic response. Meanwhile, my child got no help at all for her mental health. This is not the place to send anyone you love if you really care about them and their mental health.

Honestly, some people of the staff are nice and some aren’t. They treat you almost like an animal and they don’t look at you like a person but lesser than. It humiliating. The nurses sometimes deny you your basic needs & its so frustrating. The food is horrible and they don’t help with any mental health services. The therapist Greg is amazing and so are the case workers but everyone else is not. Dr. Quershi needs her license taken cause she is no help & very unprofessional.

I was always able to speak with my family member who was there. and they said that the nurses and psychiatrist were nice, always felt safe. The nurses always made sure that I was able to speak with my family member and would return my calls if they were unable to speak with me or transfer them to me at that time. The MD was nice and knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything to me. My fam member always got all the things that I would drop off. I feel like the place is secure since you cannot even press a button in the elevator without a key card. The only con that I felt was that the facility did not provide me with the policy and procedures such as visitation rules and a list of allowed items to drop off. Over all, I felt relieved after a few interactions with staff members, particularly the nurses.

One of the worst "hospitals," I've ever been to. The staff was unprofessional, rude, and unfriendly. The place itself was filthy. The activity room were they would bring our food up was filled with fruit flies swarming around and grouping up on the ceiling. It was disgusting. The nurses walked around like they didn't know what they were doing, mixing up and losing paperwork, like it was their first day on the job. The only nice people I met in there were some of the other patients. Do not send a loved one here, they will not get the help they need.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE‼️My daughter went from baker acted to volunteer meaning she no longer under the baker act because as they can clearly See she’s physically and mentally stable so they had her sign some papers so that she could be released but put the wrong date. Then she had to sign again and now they moved her to the second floor where they started another baker act on her instead of releasing her they didn’t want to give my Daughter Dr. Lance Amols name for some odd reason which I found his name on the website so they are basically kidnapping my daughter after she’s already been cleared of everything.

I don't know who she was, but apparently she got fired from what I've heard. 3 years ago I'm being Baker Acted here for 2 days and got out feeling twice as worse than when I had gotten in. Doctors treated patients badly and neglected them. One nurse in particular, who I had forgotten the name of, had strangled a child in the NECK and was convincing patients, thus including children, that they should not be taking their medication prescribed to them and calling them "weak" and "stupid" if they'd disagree with her. I also want to mention that the bathrooms and beds were disgusting. Blood stains on the sheets we used to sleep and mold in some of the bathroom corners. Overall just very unsanitary. Wether you are a patient inside or someone from outside, contacting family will be very difficult since the people working here just love to ignore your calls. If you care about your loved ones, don't even bother taking them here unless you want them hanging themselves in a closet the moment they get discharged. I was only twelve years old at the time. Please reconsider.

****WARNING*** DO NOT BRING OR SEEK MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AT THIS FACILITY*** My family member was discharged in a severe medical condition and had to be taken to another hospital for emergency medical assistance.I do not understand how this facility is allowed to operate. Very disturbed by my family's experience at this hospital. The staff is rude and uncaring. The lack of compassion, care, and information compounded the distress that my family was experiencing in the midst of a crisis situation and our need for help. My family member was discharged with no explanation or update on the progress of their condition. No direction or guidance or post care discussion. Questions and requests for information were met with annoyance, or no reply. Phone calls were not returned nor answered, just rang endlessly, and calls were placed on hold and never picked up. The phone at the facility used for patients to call is broken, reported broken and ignored. I was unable to speak to my family member on a consistent basis. I could not properly communicate with my family member to know that they were ok. I was denied requests to speak with the psychiatrist that prescribed mutilple medications for a diagnosis that was never explained. My family member received treatment that was not cleared by the designated proxy. The therapists and social workers were rude and provided no plan for follow up care. An envelope was handed to my family member upon discarge. No psychiatrist, therapist, or case workers met with our family, nor spoke with us when my family was discharged. My family member was escorted to the exit door with no explanation and clearly still in an unstable condition. I am still waiting to receive a call back about medications that my family member was prescribed which are not consistent with the discharge paperwork. Find another hospital for treatment.

Didn't even know they were there. The facility was able to assist my minor child with all of their resources while my child was under their care from psychological, therapeutic to medicinal needs. I was able to speak with my child every day and see them on corresponding visitation days and bring sufficient clothes. They have provided adequate monitoring and feeding and ensured my child ate and slept. The staff were always very friendly and very quick to reach out to me to advise of any immediate changes and to request consents for any changes in medicines. It was nice to know that everyone was on the same page and strongly that they took my suggestions and opinions in to consideration when it came to the plan to take for my child and the reason they were in there. The patient liaison spoke with me every day to follow up on how my child did the day before and to discuss any suggestions the team had. She was wonderful joyful and always a pleasure to talk to. As much as I am thankful for this place and the people...I do not want my child to ever have to go back anywhere, and I hope I don't see them again even though they were all wonderful!

This place is the WORST. They are not helpful at all, they discharge patients before the patient is ready (putting the patient at risk during crisis), completely disregard any concerns, information and instructions, their paperwork is not accurate. They just truly do not care. Cassandra makes it look like she cares, but she really doesn't, she and everyone else at this facility is only in it for the money, clearly. Would never recommend this place. If you have a loved one that needs mental help, find another place. This place and their employees will give you heartache and a headache. If I could give her and this place a negative star review, I would!

0 stars. The staff is completely incompetent and unprofessional. Someone literally answered the phone just to hang it up at LEAST 5 times yesterday, and when I kept calling back they eventually transferred me to a machine even though I was told I would be transferred to my uncle’s unit. The only reason I was so insistent on calling back so many times was because I was TOLD by staff to call back at around 4:20 PM but only kept getting hung up on, transferred to a machine or told different information by different staff. At one point I was told the exact room number and unit my uncle was in, was told I would be transferred, nobody picks up the phone, I call back for the last time and now a different person is telling me he isn’t even in the system. How does that work? I should not have been told to call back at all if you people were going to make it that impossible for me to reach him, which I never did by the way. You clearly show up to a job that you don’t bother doing anything at just for a check, and it’s disgusting. Your patients deserve better than the care that they are getting and are going to end up being completely isolated from their outside support systems if it is consistently this difficult for anyone to reach them, which is detrimental to a person’s mental health. I understand a job like this comes with difficulties but get a new one if you don’t care enough to handle them. Whoever kept hanging up the phone simply because they were too lazy to do their job needs to be fired, and I highly doubt they’re the only person to do this.

One star rating is too much to give for what this place deserves. This place has neglected and failed to provide any medication to my son who arrived under a crisis and who has being there for almost 3rd days now. My son is willing and wants to receive help and medication but according to them medication has not been "approved" yet. This is unthinkable that a patient is under a crisis and no medications are given! this is such a neglect and violation of patient's rights and their families. PLEASE do not sent your loveones to this place. I wish I would known better.

The only reason I’m giving a 2 star is only because the receptionist was very helpful. My son was admitted today @ 2PM. It’s almost 12am he still hasn’t seen a doctor. He called me and told me he passed out earlier. I called his nurse Amy to ask him if she can get something to calm him down she was very rude and inconsiderate. I asked her to speak with someone else because she kept talking over me. She refused to put anyone else on the phone. I begged her to go check on my son and she kept telling me to call back tomorrow when the doctor is there her hands are tied. It’s easy for people like her to be rude and inconsiderate because it’s not her love one In this situation. He can’t sleep, he hasn’t eaten and he’s not being attended to. Why sign up for this job if you can’t even try to be considerate for someone dealing with mental health. I will be taking this further due to lack of patients being attended to.

TODAY IS 10/09/2022. I left a review with for Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center, the situation still the same, they never replied the email that I sent as they told me in their reply. Because of they NEGLIGENCE my niece was admitted in another hospital because of lack of medication. NO ONE in this horrible hospital called me or sent a new prescription for my niece, she is having maniac episodes and she desperately needs her medication. The doctor, the IP or therapist never returned my calls. My niece had bruises when she left the hospital, many her clothes disappear and the meds prescribed were discontinued and the other the insurance didn't covered. I called several times, left messages, left review here, contact them as they told here and still no answer. Definitely they need someone to sue them to get some accountability for their negligence and poor work performance . They deserve ZERO! This is a horrible place, they don't care! I am trying for 2 days to get someone in the hospital to call back the pharmacy or to call me back with a prescription, since the medication prescribed to my nice is discontinued and the other one is not covered by the insurance. She left the hospital 2 days ago and she doesn't have the medication. I spoke with several people and they keeping me transfer to another extension and in the end nothing happens. I give ZERO to this horrible hospital. I just sent a message to the link you provided. My niece needs her mediation ASAP. You guys need to reply the pharmacy with the new prescription

Absolute nightmare. Take your chances elsewhere because this place is an operational debacle. They pack as many people as possible in here fully knowing they are unable to accommodate. Understaffed, undertrained, short on supplies (e.g., no pillows, not enough blankets / beds, etc.), unprepared, and just overall not a place you or a loved will be able to get help. Therapy was a sad excuse for therapy, the main doctor was rude, condescending, offensive, and the opposite of sympathetic. I dropped off clothes to a loved who was cold and uncomfortable and they lost them along with her driver’s license! Currently looking into how to properly report this facility.

This place was horrible! Staff is extremely rude and no one answers the phone or returns calls. My 14 year old was there recently admitted to the facility from a hospital. I had an extremely difficult time get information/updates on her and my calls would just ring and ring. I would often call 8-10 times just to get an answer. My daughter said the THERAPIST was very hateful and told her he wouldn’t help her if she was rude to him! Who does that to a suicidal/depressed teenager? Someone who should not be in this job and should be immediately terminated. Fast forward to today. I needed a refill for my daughters medication as her scheduled appointment was unexpectedly canceled due to insurance issues. I tried to contact the facility for three days straight and was transferred to lines where either surprise surprise no one picked up or I had to leave a voicemail where no one bothered to return my call. So I drove there yesterday. I was told by the front desk clerk that no one was there on a Sunday but the right people would be there Monday. I asked her if she was absolutely sure since it was a holiday. She assured me that even though it was a holiday the right people would be there to refill my daughter’s prescription. So today I call back and am explaining to the person who answered I have been trying to take care of this for four days now and she cuts me off and says “So why are you calling?”. I briefly explain and she says hold on and gives me to someone else. I tell the second person I speak to the situation telling her it’s for my daughter then give her the name of the Dr asking for a refill and explaining why. She says that’s a kids Dr. Why would you ask him for a refill? after I had just literally told her it was for my juvenile daughter. I repeat myself and she says right into the phone “I’m not doing this with you” and transfers my call. I never could get help with her medication. Rude, unprofessional, uninformed staff who have no business working with people in mental health situations or their families who are hurting with their loved one and trying to get them help.

It’s ugly, dirty, and some (most) staff have a complete lack of care towards the degree of mental decay some patients have. Expect to feel uneasy, threatened and scared just in the lobby- its awful. DO NOT send loved ones here, they’ll come out worse or with the lesson of keeping their mouth shut just so they won’t have to come back.

The reviews for this hospitals inpatient and outpatient IOP program should be kept separately! The outpatient program has changed my life for the better. The therapist are amazing every single one! They offer transportation to and from the program, and meals and snacks while your there even free cigarettes and smoke breaks. The program is peer based (group therapy) while one of their amazing therapist oversees the whole group. Not only are the therapists helpful the patients themselves offer real life experiences and advice that are all so helpful and real. Everyone wants to see you getting better and doing better in your life including your peers, and I am truly grateful to have experienced such wonderful people! This hospital has amazing outpatient care, but unfortunately it's overshadowed by the inpatient care that I am also unfortunately familiar with. Give the IOP a call, set it up, with patience and an open mind group therapy can actually become the first step to taking control of your mental health! Stay safe and God bless!

I was here last week. I can't complain staff was VERY friendly and professional to me. Doctors were very Understanding and simply wanting to help me. Not push drugs on me. Therapists were also friendly and helpful. Gene the lead tech is awesome. Some of the patients were perhaps needing to be on a different floor like psych but that's my only complaint. Even had thanksgiving dinner. Was only there 7?days but would like to do the 28 day program with f I get the opportunity.

Had a family member baker acted. Thankfully she didnt have to wait hours to be admitted. Her stay was better with the weekend staff. They were more compassionate and understanding than the weekday staff. Seems like they have normal beds and not sleeping on the floor. My main concerns are with the weekday staff. It was very hard to contact anyone during the weekdays. Everything was much more disorganized as well during the weekdays. We wanted to talk to the psychiatrist for a follow up when it was all done, but it is just so hard to get in contact with doctors.

The phone rings for days at a time. No updates given to parents from doctors or therapists. When I would receive phone calls from my child, I could hear yelling and fighting in the background. Still have not heard back from anyone there. I was told they were short-staffed. My child told me that they told her they were too short staffed to check her clothes in order to give them to her. I was also told they were too short-staffed to give water cups to the children.

It was a nightmare from the second I walked in the door. I would give it minus 5 stars if I could. I was there for detox not mental health. They wouldn't give me the medicine that I was prescribed and brought in with me for 4 days. This caused me great harm. While trying to get my medicine during these 4 days "Trudy" the nurse laughed in my face while I was getting worse by the hour. The State needs to step in and investigate this place. I Left worse off than when I went in. Please do ot send anyone you care about to this place. I cant really put into words how bad it is at this place. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible facility, no consistency with information, every one tell you they will call you back but no one does. To many per diem staff. Sad to say the nurses as well as the mental health providers and the doctors don't seems to care about the patients nor they advocate for them. The sad reality of mental health it becomes a business. I WON'T GIVE THEM 1star but the system does not allow me to remove all the stars. This place only makes worse our youth

My sister was there last week. She lost her husband and daughter back to back recently. They took her bag with medicines, personal belongings such as license, credit cards, cell phone, daughter and husband belongings. During her entire stay they reached into her bag for medicine. However, when we picked her up we waited 2 hours for them to find her bag with everything in it. We had to leave without it. Since then, we’ve called every single day. We are either completely ignored or they are rude and are upset we are calling. My sister is crying day and night over the irreplaceable stuff that she always has on her from her husband and child. She has no ID’s or credit or bank cards. Her new cell phone is gone and we don’t have the money to replace. The staff is rude, nasty about it even though we are being extremely courteous. They stole or lost my sister’s bag which they used until just minutes before her release and no one will help us or call us back. This is abusive, to say the least.

Fort Lauderdale behavioral health took really good care of my love one. The nurses were always helpful and making sure he got his medication’s. The Director of nursing in case manager were very efficient in arranging a conference call with me to discuss his needs Case management was very effective in helping with After Care planning. The administrator of the hospital made himself extremely available and even came out of his office to the lobby to make sure that my love when was cared for and that he got the admission status and discharge planning that he needed Administrator make sure that the appropriate staff always called me and help me to make arrangements as necessary for my love ones I would recommend Fort Lauderdale behavioral health for any patient who needs mental health services?.

Worst hospital !!! You called and you're never able to talk to patients or nurse. They just transfer the call and it rings, no one ever answers. The social worker finally got back to me, she place my brother in ALF group home. They never called me when he was released. The guy of the ALF group home that they release him to, after two days he relocated my brother to a different ALF facility that no one has information of, So I have no idea where my brother is at. Very sad to know this is how they treat mental health patients that have family that care for their well-being. Because they are adults they don't give you information.

The doc and reception staff is amazing in the outpatient clinic. Dr Gaines takes time to explain everything and all of the side effects coming off and going on different treatments. The young lady at the counter was so sweet and warm. Dealing with people that have depression and anxiety is so hard but she never gave up on me and kept calling to make sure I made it to my appointment. You aren't just a number here. You are a person that needs help and they are here to make it as easy as possible. Thank you so much

I was sent here in November 20th.Worst place. The nicest people were THE ACTUAL PATIENTS. The nurses are extremely rude. The food is gross. I had to wait for a terribly long time. It feels like sleeping on a rock. I had barely any communication with my parents. Please do not send family members or loved ones there.

This is the WORST place I've ever been too. The staff treated the patients horribly and were extremely rude to us. Dr Quereshi, who holds our freedom in her hands, has extreme narcissistic personality traits, and was nasty toe and to other patients, as she enjoys the power that she has. I was terribly traumatized from being in that facility, and I am currently doing intense therapy treatment because of that. I suffered a medical trauma being under their care. Please do not send your loved ones to this horrible institution.

I have to say how displeased I am with the service that I had yesterday my daughter was transferred from University Hospital to this hospital I had no idea she was transferred until she called me she said that she was being released and I asked my daughter if I could speak to someone she said there was no one there I was frantic because I knew that she was in full-blown psychosis I in turn called the hospital the first person I spoke to said that she was not admitted she was helpful in getting me to admissions the first person I spoke to an admissions told me that she was not there put me on hold and I spoke to someone else that told me that my daughter was there and was being admitted and then I was on a three-way call with my son-in-law and a person by the name of Katrina who said that my daughter had been seen by the psychiatrist and the psychiatrist thought that she was OK to go I intern told them that my daughter was not OK to go she was in full-blown psychosis that was the reason she was there in the first place she told my son-in-law that she spoke to my daughter and that my daughter was perfectly fine my son-in-law asked her if she was a doctor she did not answer they let my daughter walk out the door with no ID no phone and I was very upset and told Katrina that I would hold anyone responsible if anything happened to my daughter Katrina hung up on me it was very unprofessional she should have had more compassion for the family who was frantic not knowing where She was. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone
