For years I saw her suite-mate and he was amazing. He moved so I rolled over to her. Rude and condescending does not even describe my experience. I was charged a lot of money and billed for a 30 minute exam that only lasted 15 minutes. All she wanted to do was prescribe tranquilizers after I told her many times I don't want them. Next appointment I brought up the billing to her and was told she cannot see me anymore as a patient. Writing this review because now 2 years later all of a sudden I'm getting phone calls from her billing department saying I still owe money. Be warned. Stay away.

The care I received from Dr Martinasevic was below average at best. I would pay for a 20 minute session and my last session she treated me by phone for less than 10 minutes. They were late on my last phone consult and I called in 20 minutes later. At that time the rude male receptionist said the price went up from $130 to $150 for a 20 minute session. I asked why I wasn't notified. He said they posted it in the office. I don't go into the office so how would I know that. I understand now that psychiatrists shouldn't be continuously doing phone consults on patients and I've only seen the Dr once in person. The office was very rude, Michelle this time, when I just spoke to her. She said in order to see the Dr. it would be a $75 cancel fee plus the $150 ( again keep in mind they didn't call me at 10:20 am on 2/7/20 for my phone consult. I called in 20 minutes later. They were late on my appointment and I was upset they didn't notify of the price increase. I am now without a Dr, being it takes several weeks to get in as a new patient to another Dr. I have requested a refill or partial month refill on my medications to hold me over, as I transition my care. I can't have a lapse on medication and will be reporting this Dr. if they continue to ignore my request. They are required to make a safe transition for my care and they are not doing that. I already have anxiety and when I speak to the office, they make it worse. I've asked repeatedly to speak to the Dr. directly and they are ignoring that requests as well. I have a friend who is an attorney and is guiding me on what to do next.

4 year FORMER patient only able to now realize how unprofessional and detrimental this psychiatrist is after seeing my new psychiatrist. Do not expect good bedside manners, tact, an ability to listen to the patient, or make good decisions on behalf of the patient. I was unfortunate enough to HAVE to see this person for 4 years and I don't recommend it. There is a reason my review is not alone in the reviews nor are my criticisms unique. She will ignore your thoughts, not listen to your thoughts on matters that affect your mental health and then override and supercede your concerns. Stay away and see someone else.

It makes incredible sad to know that this was the first psychiatrist i had, because I chose to finally get help for myself and she did nothing beneficial for me, never listened to my concerns about my own mental health and life, not about the medications that made me more unstable than stable, and then barely a year passed and she dumps me for “not complying” even though I was in a really low spot and she knew that. So do yourself a favor and keep looking for someone else that will actually listen and help.

I would give her negative stars if I could. Perhaps this woman was good at her job one day. She does not listen, she is rude and does not understand the concept of time it seems. Do NOT put yourself or your child through any evaluations with her, she does not believe in due diligence.

This Dr seems unlikely to be a professional. We needed information & diagnosis code in order to be reimbursed by our insurance company. After asking several times- we were denied & out of close to $1000-. Then if that weren’t bad enough- the doctor moved without informing us. We show up at new location- because of an appointment today- only to be told the Doctor is not working today. Apparently- she doesn’t care enough about her patients. Going to look for someone more caring & qualified!

Highly frustrating experience. Martinasevic had preconceived biases regarding diagnoses, and did not listen when we gave information to the contrary. She changed our daughter's ADHD diagnosis, switching it to Anxiety disorder and Borderline personality disorder, she discontinued ADHD meds and prescribed an SSRI, which actually caused depressive symptomology, and the absence of ADHD meds led to a marked deterioration in self control resulting in regression in academic peer and emotional functioning. After a month of chaos, she decided to try a different ADHD medication, but failed to call in the prescription. Whenever we would try to contact the front desk she was in the middle of trying to sort through her messages due to multiple staff members quitting and she gave us the impression that she was overwhelmed and unable to manage her caseload. She later claimed that she had never planned to prescribe the new ADHD medications and made us seriously question if we were seeing the first signs of early onset dementia.

I was afraid to seek help in fears of what would happen if I told the truth during my lowest time. Her staff is so sweet and got me in quickly. I am SO RELIEVED I came in to see Dr Martinasevic. She helped me understand what I was experiencing. I am not afraid to be honest with her. She monitors your physical and mental health and she is perfectly blunt in telling me what I need to hear. I’ve made so much progress thanks to her. I now know what it feels like to be content and happy. Since day one she’s given me a spark of hope and excitement for the future instead of dread. Thank you doctor!

Before getting an appointment the receptionist asked what insurance I have, I said Medicare and supplemental, she agreed that was accepted and then emailed multiple pages of paperwork including a request to provide a copy of Drivers license, Medicare card info and health history. All paperwork was filled out, returned and told I would be contacted the next day. I was contacted the next day by text and told the Dr does not accept geriatric patients and specializes in children. Surely they knew I was not a child when I provided the Medicare info.

Excellent provider. She helped me to understand that my symptoms were normal and that it is okay to work on your mental health

Dr Martinasevic has given me hope when I had little left, comfort and guidance when I needed it most and tools to improve my mental health beyond what I knew was possible.

Very caring doctor who took the time to listen and assess my situation. Also very blunt and to the point, so if you can’t handle the truth, she might not be the doctor for you. That’s okay…not everyone is meant to be “your” cup of tea.
