I really wish I read the reviews before coming here. The food was bad and bland; the service was slow, rude, and unapologetic. The escargots has a gross fishy taste to them and were really expensive. The only good thing was the melon which was really sweet and juicy but that has nothing to do with the chefs or restaurant preparation. The waitress at the end tried to charge us €90 instead of €9 for something, good thin we caught in time. Yikes.

Very low food quality. The pasta was simply soaked in cream - no spices, no taste. Only worth think here is the location on a vibrant old city square. I don't recommend visiting.

5€ for a coke (cheap syrup and water) and 15€ for the worst steak ever... they'll tell you it's your fault for ordering it... With the steak comes a "salad" that should be called "assorted canned vegetables" as it only contained old lettuce, canned beets and corn. The fries are just about as bad as it gets - yuck! We had to wait more than 45 minutes to be able to pay as well! Tourist trap - DON'T GO!!

Don't go here. The restaurant next door served the same food + dessert and coffee to like 4 tables before we even got our food. My duck arrived cold. My friend got the wrong salad. The service is absolutely terrible and we felt unwanted and had to ask multiple times for water and knives. The place next door seems much much better with the same menu for 50¢ more.

Terrible, microwaved food. Even the "local dishes" are cooked without love. NOT recommended. Read the reviews before going there!

Oh dear everyone's been slating this place. Not my experience...I had chef surprise salad and cassoulet both were pretty good. Oh and the red wine was nice. I wouldn't say the service is exceptional but it's ok, both my waiters were pretty smiley.. Tbh, all of these restaurants are going to be a bit hit and miss. Edit...they brought the main before I'd finished me starter! Paying the bill was very perfunctory so sorry, you lost a star.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We chose this place because my wife wanted galette, and it was past lunch time. As one of the few open places, we ordered, and service was timely. However, the quality was poor, there were flies everywhere, and they forced us to buy bottled water though everyone else around us received a pitcher. My galette beurre salé was soaked with low quality butter. Funny, no salt. It came with a salad of lettuce, canned corn, and beets. My coffee tasted like dirty water. It cost €20 for two galette, a coffee, and a bottle of water. Not pleased.

Croque monsieur was cold, rice in paella tasted like it was precooked rice, chicken in paella was rubbery, quiche was not home made, onion soup came from a can.

Everything is just awful. Food is not tasty, it’s awful. They also tricking you with the size of beer. It’s expensive at the same time. Avoid visiting it.

Absolutely delicious food. The restaurant is situated in the Place de L'Horage in the centre of Avignon. I can recommend.

Terrible. The mussels were very salty (although the owner claimed they do not salt them at all), overcooked, and tasted old. After sampling a few I was afraid to get food poisoning and stopped eating. Naturally they didn’t offer a refund, and we didn’t bother to ask for one. The so called crème brûlée was praised as home made and would have been better bought in a supermarket. The Aperol was very good but did not make up for the terrible food. This was one time we didn’t check the Google rating. Won’t happen again for a long time.

5 euro for the cola, moules all with the guts, even sands.

This place is terrible, wish we have read the review before we order. Waited 1.5 hours and they have not even serve us bread/ entrees, waitress was rude and after we asked the waiter a few times then only the food came and they were pretty unapologetic. Their service attitude was completely disrespectful and overheard they told other customers to wait as other restaurants nearby are closed by then. Food was bland, felt like microwave food & canned food, don’t go here

Unfortunately we did not read the reviews, but just sat. The fish was flavorless. The fries, beer and salad were good, but service severely lacking. Server didn’t let hubby pay at table, even though she brought card machine to other tables.

We were waiting for such a long time that it was unbelievable. Even water took 30 minutes! Eggplant (aubergine), soup and carbonara were pretty good, although the eggplant dish was very small. However the salmon salad was a disappointment as it was too salty and too sweet at the same time. In addition, salmon was "old" and did not taste good anymore.
