Very educational and inspirational experience. The audio guide made the experience even more fun. There several types of entrance tickets, but do not think the ticket with the AR tablet is necessary unless you are going with young children. Make sure to bring your own earphones!

We went in the morning, and it was beautiful! The cheapest level (blue?) is all you need to enjoy the tour. The audio guide was great. The house is amazing! Worth visiting.

I love this place. A lot of opportunities to take great pictures. It’s a good size so you could spend a lot of time here, just admiring the works of art. We did the silver pass, which featured almost everything the gold one does except for like one small area. It was very busy but not like shoulder to shoulder. Employees were nice and helpful. Plan to spend 3-5 hrs.

This place is definitely worth a visit! A UNESCO World Heritage Site is usually worth a visit. This must be the work of a man balancing between madness and genius... I would highly recommend buying your tickets in advance and to get at the very least an audio guide!

Great experience, however quite pricey! The audio tour was integrated seamlessly as you walk around the house and the house is truly beautiful and well preserved. For a one time experience I decided to pay the 35€, but maybe not worth it if you’re visiting Barcelona on a budget. There was no queue and no crowds when I visited on the 3rd of January, but I did get my ticket online.

Great experience. The AR adds more taste to it as well. Loved every bit of it. Great demonstration of Gaudi’s work. One of the best museum experiences I’ve had. If you are in Barcelona, this is a must.

A beautiful, beautiful very unique building. It’s a must visit for sure, but I have a big issue with the ticket prices which are ridiculously high! 35€ is a robbery. the audio guide and “interactive experience” feel like they have been added just to charge you more. The guide keeps reminding you how “unique” and “amazing” the building is, but to be honest there is very little content in it

I think it is the one of most unforgettable experience I have ever had. The house is just amazing and so extraordinary. I had the gold ticket and had the amazing experience. The audio guide was so engaging and tips on the tablets made it more interesting. As I am a fan of Gaudy style of architecture I was so impressed with the visit and what I saw. So definitely recommended to visit this house if you are going to visit Barcelona. The tickets needs to be pre-booked and kids under 12 are going free!

If you like architecture you'll love this building, if you don't like architecture you'll love this building. It is very expensive to get into, I did a group tour of a few of Gaudi buildings which worked out cheaper but you don't get to spend as long as you want on some of the buildings as there is A LOT to take in visually and informatively. The tour I did I thought was more informative as she mentioned some information that wasn't in handset of the self guided tour although she would've missed some things that would be in a self guided tour as well. Doing a tour you also skip the line which I did see was quite long as times. Hope you enjoy the building as much as I did if you do see it

Undoubtedly the house is beautiful - inside and out. However, the ticket for access to Casa Batlló costs 35 euros!!! This is ridiculous! This house by Gaudi is definitely not worth your money. For comparison, the ticket for the Louvre is only 17 euros. In the Louvre you can spend a whole day and see the greatest masterpieces from around the world. Casa Batlló on the other hand is small and overcrowded with tourists. You can explore the entire Casa Batlló in a maximum of 30 minutes. So you pay more than euros per minute to be in the home created by Gaudi. If you think it's worth it - welcome! If the ticket was at least twice as cheap - it would be worth looking at. For now, it is better to view the house from the outside and continue your walk in beautiful Barcelona.

48 Euros for an adult gold ticket which doesn’t have too many benefits other than the visually interactive tablet and one gold only special small area on the terrace for photos. You get an visual and audio guide tablet with headphones in many languages for gold and just a simple audio guide for other tiers. There is a photo stop where they take a photo for you from the outside of the building on a special balcony and can you can purchase your photo after you’ve had a look. Look forward to the amazing light show room at the end of the tour.

A great experience! You should definitely try it! It's a truly marvelous work of architecture! It's a little expensive but definitely worth the price! I would suggest to skip the silver and gold tickets and just get the blue one. The audio guide experience is truly well done and it guides you through the place and shows you every little detail that you could miss very nicely. The place is kept in a pristine state and very well preserved! It also looks amazing at night but I would advice to go inside in the morning as it will be a better experience.

A very cool experience. Tickets are definitely pricey, so maybe skip it if you're on a budget. We really enjoyed the tour and felt it was worth the money, as I was a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews. The audio tour was so nice and the accompanying music really made the visit.

Interesting home! The audio tour was fine, but I really like the design and how the light shines inside the building. It’s nice in the afternoon. Buy online to get in quickly. All I did was stand outside as I bought a ticket.

This is one of the best places to see in Barcelona. It was an amazing experience going inside with Gold level tickets that gives you full access to all rooms and a nice set of tablets with good headphones, plus you have a fast line pass. They do not let you in earlier than your ticket time.

Beautiful museum with rooftop bar and all-immersive room with 360*-lights. Gift shop is nice and reasonably priced. Duration of a visit can probably range from 1-2.5 hours. Highly recommend coming! Only suggestion or need is… more air conditioning. 🥵

It was a wonderful experience visiting this masterpiece! We booked the gold tickets and received the audio guide with virtual reality video tablets. Additional access to the bedroom was a part of this ticket. The place was not very crowded and we could take several videos and photos easily. If you are in Barcelona, I'd definitely recommend you visit this place. The entire experience from start of the tour to end is so engaging and amazing. In case you prefer, carry your own earphones to use instead of the headsets provided by the staff. The entire tour took us 2 hours to complete.

We were completely in awe of the architecture here. We were so grateful to have an audio tour we could follow at our own pace. If you don't want to hold the wand, you can plug in your own headphones. The building is beautiful and even though we took our time going through the building I'm sure we still missed stuff. I would recommend this stop when visiting Barcelona. There was even a balcony where you can get your picture taken and purchase it, and there were so many fun facts as you walked through each floor. Get tickets early to avoid large crowds and make sure to take pictures at night of the front of the building as the lighting changes colors and adds a spectacular new view of the Casa. Definitely buy your tickets ahead of time online to save time. Even though they had a "cube" show at the end of the tour, please be aware of fast moving lights, and lots of moving video especially if you suffer from vertigo. It was a bit much for me because I get dizzy easily from this type of exhibit. But it's short and you aren't missing much if you skip this.

The inside is as amazing as the outside of the building. If you are a fan of Gaudi. it is a must see, especially if you are an art lover... AMAZING ! It was great experience to do with my friends. We all love Gaudí and La Casa Batlló was amazing to see, specially the inside but the outside is very stunning.

Surreal to see one of my favorite Architects of all time, Antoni Gaudi’s masterpiece, the Casa Battlo, Barcelona, Spain. It is one of the many UNESCO world heritage buildings made by the legendary architect who was the greatest exponent of Catalan Modernisme. The tour is quite amazing and seeing the building from inside is really a special feeling. The place has so much character.

The experience was not as per the expectations. The architecture is good and unique but exaggerated a lot. Such interiors can be found at many historical buildings throughout the world. The entry ticket price is very high for this visit. Only the last part which is Mind of Gaudi was appreciable. This should be only one time visit maximum.

It’s a really good looking building. How comes nobody does anything like this anymore? So much of Barcelona has nice architecture but the Gaudi’s stand out even amongst those others. It makes you think what could be if we had the artistic courage and made the effort to create such beauty elsewhere. Now return to your boring elongated rectangle condo or plain apartment without any adornment and weep.

Absolutely breathtaking. Recommend spending the extra on the gold tour package. It is €12 more expensive (at the time of writing this) but ensures little to no wait, you get to see everything and you get a tablet and headphones to accompany you and guide you around, which really bring the place alive with a virtual, animated tour. The house and its history are quite unlike anything I’ve seen before and the architecture is totally unique. Nearing the end of the tour, you can rest at a roof top bar and have a drink before heading down to the grand finale - set in a cube with emanations going on all around you. The gold ticket tour is expensive but it’s worth it if only to avoid what looked like a very long queue that could easily last an hour at peak times.

Casa Batlló (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkazə βəˈʎːo]) is a building in the center of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí, and is considered one of his masterpieces. A remodel of a previously built house, it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that. Gaudí's assistants Domènec Sugrañes i Gras, Josep Canaleta and Joan Rubió also contributed to the renovation project. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality. It is located on the Passeig de Gràcia in the Eixample district, and forms part of a row of houses known as the Illa de la Discòrdia (or Mansana de la Discòrdia, the "Block of Discord"), which consists of four buildings by noted Modernista architects of Barcelona. Like everything Gaudí designed, Casa Batlló is only identifiable as Modernisme or Art Nouveau in the broadest sense. The ground floor, in particular, has unusual tracery, irregular oval windows and flowing sculpted stone work. There are few straight lines, and much of the façade is decorated with a colorful mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles (trencadís). The roof is arched and was likened to the back of a dragon or dinosaur. A common theory about the building is that the rounded feature to the left of centre, terminating at the top in a turret and cross, represents the lance of Saint George (patron saint of Catalonia, Gaudí's home), which has been plunged into the back of the dragon.

Amazing experience! Casa Batlló is one of the most popular pieces from the infamous Antoni Gaudí. And I must say, my personal favorite! As his other pieces, the architect plays with organic shapes and textures usually found in nature. You will find elements reminiscing to plants, fishes and even bones! Overall a beautiful, magical and fantastical experience for all ages!

Words can't even begin to describe the marvelous beauty that is this home. An absolute must see when visiting Barcelona. They provide a tablet to every visitor for a guided visual/audio tour with augmented reality to bring the house alive. A magnificent building with many unique features. Audio guide was very well done and informative. Virtual reality tablet did add to the experience in some of the rooms adding appropriate furniture and visualization of some of the architectural features. We did the Gold which included a few extras and felt they were worth it. If you like architecture, design, or simply want to be jealous of a really nice house you can’t live in, come see this place! A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A really wonderful tour! I recommend the gold level, the extra exploring was really really nice. Every room was beautiful and the audio tour guide was really well done! We purchased tickets same day and were able to get an entry time right when we arrived outside of the house. It was super fun!! The area around here is very walkable and nice to explore as well. The house is pretty but i wasnt too impressed with the experience of touring it. We had the gold entry which was good for the entry and the cool screen room (maybe it's open to everyone, i am not sure) but the audio and tablet view was so so. But that one room with the screens all over the place was pretty darn cool. Can't really say if that is truly Gaudi like. It felt like the whole place and experience was extremely commercialized.

Amazing house. If you can afford it, book AHEAD and get the GOLD experience, it includes a fully furnished quarter to see how the house was used, and fully interactive tablet audio guide that explains the thought process behind many clever details of the house. Fantastic insight into Gaudi’s genius mind.

Antonio Gaudi was unbelievably genius for his Bionic architecture. This house is crazy!!! Cause it brings you to the journey of the nature and architecture... and you will ask yourself how is possible that somebody could invent something kike this that nobody even thought about this before. Hint: go to the roof and have a great panorama 360 view around.

We visited Casa Battlo June 2022. We are a family of five. Very easy to take e tickets and you skip the line. Very quick to go inside and very helpful the people who work there! Only adults pay tickets and kids until 16yo if I remember correct for free. They gave us one device like a phone which was our guide. This was very interesting because it is very quite inside and everybody can take the time to hear and to see the things. And the voices that you hear describe the life of the family that lived there and put you into the scene. It’s art and architecture together. I really liked it. Kids too. In the last floor you have the opportunity to take a picture in one of the little balconies not for free. We took the picture and it is really nice. I like to go back and see it again!!!

One of the most incredible pieces of architecture anywhere in the world, Casa Batlló is an absolute masterpiece and a MUST SEE attraction when visiting Barcelona. Definitely book tickets in advance as the queues are ridiculously long. Get real insight into how Gaudí restored this building to the monument it has become today. You get to go inside an actual apartment, like travelling back in time. The materials and designs, even including the furniture, are all so unique and natural feeling. The gift shops are spectacular, as is the attic and rooftop. So many opportunities for incredible photography. The Gaudí Cube 360° experience at the end is out of this world!! As is the augmented reality you get to experience with the tablet in the audio guide. Simply spectacular!!

But we wanted to upgrade to the Gold experience to see more of the house, which we thought was worth it. The pictures speak for themselves as to how beautiful the house is. But would recommend allocating more time than expected, as tickets from an attraction pass must be converted to their tickets so you still have to queue a little.

We bought our tickets in advance on their website for the first entry of the day today and got there 30 minutes ahead of time. The cafe across the street was closed, but a quick search revealed one right next door. So we grabbed a drink and a quick bite there. It was super convenient. The experience of walking through and experiencing the exhibition while being guided by the audio tour and at your own pace was really nice. The Cube show at the end was really awesome as well. The offerings at the gift shop are very enticing and we spent way too much time there, such that we were almost late for our next attraction appointment! Do not miss it if you are a lover of art, architecture and innovative craftsmanship.

Another amazing Gaudi’s creation - this Casa is like a miracle in the heart of the city! The details, the materials, the ideas- incredible. And when you get to the top you see the chimneys that look beautiful. The central one looks like a dragon with its multicoloured scales. And there is a bar on the top so you can sit, rest and admire all this beauty. There is an option that you can take a photo on one of the balconies and it is a great opportunity to create more unforgettable memories.

Beautiful historical landmark in heart of Barcelona. For this instance you can expect big crowds in front of it most of the time. It's advantageous to visit this place either very early or late. However, of you'd like to enter then you should stick to opening hours. Really pretty and unique both from outside and inside. It's a piece of art that I would recommend to visit for every tourist in Barcelona.

This is a nice place to visit if you have some extra time in Barcelona, but definitely not a "have to" go to place. While the architecture and art inside are really cool, it is fairly small and can be done too quick for the price you pay. However, if you are a die hard architecture and museum person, it may be worth it to you. Just a hard sell to me when there are much bigger museums throughout western Europe which are cheaper or free.

do you like the architect Gaudí? one of the best places to visit in Barcelona and knowing his work. The facade and interior have already been restored, as the ceiling lamps. Spectacular house of the early Twentieth century in the Modernist Barcelona.

Tickets are cheaper if you buy them online and its so easy to do so. The tour was good but since its summer; it was SO hot and the A\C was not helping a lot. I cant imagine visiting the place with huge amount of people like in any normal summer vacation. I was lucky visiting it without so many tourists due to covid-19 and they have some precautions for the situation. Their store is SO expensive and OVER priced for souvenirs.

  • 4/5 Juana C. 3 years ago on Google
Really nice place and you learn a lot about the artist. Probably a must go for architects and engineers but also very interesting for anyone who likes art. Only 4 stars because the prices are extremely high (25€ p.P.) - however apparently it is not financed or supported by the government hence the prices are understandable.

One of Gaudí's ultimate masterpieces... which you should see at least once in your lifetime. We make ask if Gaudi would agree with the prices charged on tourists to visit and admire his work, someone is cleary making a lot of money here... and it isn't him, poor fellow. (that's actually why I don't favour it with a 5 stars review). At least, while you're there, take your time and advantatge to sip and soak in all the wonderful aesthetic details...

The architecture is so fun! It's also located next to lots of shopping if you need to do any souvenir shopping. Make sure to buy tickets with a reserved entry so that you're guaranteed a spot! Note: Visited in Jan 2020 but catching up on reviews because- COVID.

The architecture is awesome! The ticket is very expensive for the little we can see, the museum shop was closed by 7pm I was at the museum. The audio guide is not as good as La pedrera. Obviously it's a famous place for a reason. The building is really cool and fantastical. Super touristy though. If you're not a Gaudi or art freak it might be enough to just look at it for a bit from the outside. I would have liked to go in but the line was too long and I really didn't care about it enough to wait. Just admiring the facade was enough for me.

Gaudi´s "Casa Batlló" It´s a must-see if you ever visit the modern arts and lively city of Barcelona. The best way to see it in all its glory is to buy an online entrance ticket with the virtual tour included. (it has a set entrance time). In my opinion, it's the way o go, cause you get a glance into what the house used to look like with the help of AR in the different rooms of the house. The Tour is partly accesible, there's an elevator that goes till the 4th four (the last 2 floors are only accesible by stairs). However, Souvenir Shop or how they called it "Store" is on the on the 4th floor.

It is located at number 43 on Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona, the wide avenue that crosses the Ensanche district (Eixample), in the so-called Manzana de la Discordia, because in addition to this building it houses other works by modernist architects: Casa Amatller, adjacent to Gaudí's, the work of Josep Puig i Cadafalch; the Lleó Morera House, the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner; the Casa Mulleras, by Enric Sagnier; and the Casa Josefina Bonet, by Marceliano Coquillat. In fact, all the apartments have a window and some ventilation holes in this courtyard and as a result, Casa Batlló has a kind of air conditioning. This is one of the reasons why the work is listed as a World Heritage Site. (Translated by Google) A great architectural work! Inspired by the ocean and its inhabitants. It has a corridor whose walls are made of glass that gives an image as if you were in the water of its degraded blues of the walls of a vertical entrance of light, covered by ceramic. Each space has a unique design and each corner enriched by the creativity of its great architect, the genius Gaudí. The attic makes you think you're walking inside the skeletal frame of a whale. The balconies are unique and incredible. and on the terrace you can see the back of a dragon whose scales make up the tiles of the roof. (Original) Una obra arquitectónica genial! El ático te hace pensar que caminas dentro de la armazón esquelética de una ballena. If you're wondering why the tickets are so expensive, it's because they have integrated technology, information, accessibility and emotion in such an impressive, advanced manner that it is has become and INCREDIBLE experience for visitors. This is probably one of my favourite tourist attractions in Barcelona, just because the experience itself was so seamless and awe-inspiring. Truly a great way to learn about one of Gaudí's master projects. On a practical note: Get in there early to avoid crowds and buy your tickets online! Easier, cheaper, faster.

Beautiful building with an original architecture. It brings to mind fantasy tales of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but also has some futuristic elements. Truly incredible. I recommend seeing it in the evening, when the lights are on.

House of Gaudi. Redesigned by him on request by family Batllo. You can do a full audio tour (multiple languages) on your own and a lot of rooms are accessible. Roof and terrace access as well. Spectacular finish to the tour with a 3 minute 360 degrees visual in a closed of room. Very cool.

  • 4/5 J Z. 2 years ago on Google
A lengthy and pricey tour on the inside of the marvelous house made by the genius architect Gaudí. Words cannot describe the beauty and brightness of this masterpiece, the only downside is the super lengthy audio guide that can get tiring. If you can afford it, you should try to experience this, especially if you are interested in architecture, natural admiration and beauty.

The experience it was amazing, the audio guide integrated with the house is the best I ever seen. The house is beautiful, and the extra experiences like the box with the floor, ceiling and walls with screen, so crazy experience. In general love this Gaudi experience! Totally worth the money!

Absolutely worth the price of admission if you're into the incredibly gorgeous architecture and decor style of Gaudi! Did self guided tour with headphone narration available in multiple languages. Beautiful casa with remarkable attention to detail on all floors as well as delightful rooftop!

Tha place is a masterpiece. Is so beautiful and Inspirational.. probably only visiting it should be the best choice. We purchased the gold ticket with concert included instead. First of all had issue with the audio guide. No one wanted to help. Like I was the one who does not use a headset. We reached the terrace and no explanation were given and we were asked to sit.. even when asked , only one waiter was open to explain. Did not feel right at the end when we received a surprise.. moved in a closed room and then. Boom lots of Hypno crazy images which could be fun for the many. But I hate them. My eyes could not handle it and made me dizzy. At least let people know. 10 stars for the beauties. 0 for the organization and the crew

Just wow. The addition of the start and the end animations deserve their own ratings. Worthy of a visit for sure. Audio guide was amazing and way better than casa mila. Highly recommended..!! I chose the gold tier and was able to skip the line plus got the cava on the terrace. No complaints 🙂

Absolutely stunning modernist masterpiece and fabulous visitor experience. Brilliant audio tour and mind blowing film about Gaudi in a 360 LED room. If you’re in Barcelona this is one thing not to be missed. The Kengo Kuma staircase installation is mega.

Lovely experience!! Audio guide was interesting and it goes well when you’re entering another room. It was like you’re part of the casa as well. There were a few people during our visit which was great! Although from the outside, people are flocking to see the famous Casa Batlló. The architecture was really interesting. The price for the ticket is a bit pricey, but it’s worth a try since you’re paying for the history itself and also to check out one of Gaudi’s work.

It’s one of a kind experience. My finale tour in Barcelona before I head to airport. Starting from the ease of ticket purchasing online, kind and professional staff, world- class commentary, amazing interior design and its meaning and Gaudi cube as surprise by the end! Highly recommended!!!

Spent more than one hour in this amazing house. Great to know about Gaudi’s work in more detail. Loved loved the English audio, the description and use of words are amazing and not very boring as you may find in other touristy places. Ladies check the rings in their museum shop, they are so lovely 🥰 I took two 😊

  • 5/5 Ali K. 2 years ago on Google
You get surprised by seeing how an architect 100 years ago could think about that many details. The place is well looked after and has a very useful audio guide system. There was an amazing immersive experience at the end.

I went around 10:00 and it was not too crowded yet. Definitely recommend going early, there was a line when I got out an hour later. Insanely beautiful inside, take your time walking around. I was on my own, I took about 45 minutes - 1 hour. Worth the price, but if it's too expensive for you there are many other beautiful places too!

  • 5/5 Sanada M. 2 years ago on Google
It was a great experience. A little pricey but worth it. I took the gold package I heard the blue is just as good and cheaper. The audio guide was really cool. Great place for pictures!

  • 5/5 Drew A. 2 years ago on Google
It’s nice, but what really makes it worth it is the very end. The immersive experience inside of Salvador Gaudi’s mind is “mind blowing”! It’s an experience inside a room with 360x360 degree projections of an incredible artistic journey that can only be described as a one of a kind experience you do not want to miss. I will never forget that experience as there is nothing to compare it too. What made it even better is my wife and I were the only persons in the room because we paid for the early entrance ticket, I highly recommend this if only for the final experience!

My partner suprised me with this artistic house built for one of the rich family. It contains an interesting architectural designs that made the house look so fascinating. It is a self guided tour with audio or video. For those who have the video audio tour make sure to take advantage of the exclusive custom room to take a photo of yourself with either a family or friend.

It gives me a window of how people lived in the 20th century and how creative Gaudi was. It is special place and people in Barcelona should be proud of such beautiful and unique buildings they have as a civil living a place! But i think it is too expensive in terms of the architecture itself

  • 3/5 Teodor C. 1 year ago on Google
It's a nice house from the outside and even from the inside, though it costs 40 euros to get in for a tour and you can't even see everything because you need another ticket. Too much for what they can offer.

  • 5/5 Shubhajyoti S. 10 months ago on Google
My words fade in front of the enchanting beauty of this majestic work of art. What can I say? I am still amazed by the vibrant display of colours, the curvy stairway bannisters, the colourful glass motifs, the windows, the courtyard, and whatnot. Please visit this place if you are in the city because it is an absolute must and you can't afford to miss it out. Buy tickets in advance because the hype is real, and it's worthy.

  • 4/5 Alice p. 10 months ago on Google
As an architect i will say that it is an one of a kind experience to enter any of Gaudi buildings. As a visitor the 39€ we payed is way too much for just entering the building and seeing the 1st floor. If you want the whole experience you have to pay a lot more money. 5 stars for the building 3-4 stars for the price.

  • 5/5 Amy W. 10 months ago on Google
Gaudi is a genius. Or I should say he is an alien who does not belong to Earth. All his architecture is so fascinating and fabulous, with all his incredible imagination. He is incomparable, even a century after his death. He deserves all my best words and respect for his talent and work.

  • 5/5 Violet M. 9 months ago on Google
Amazing, can’t miss experience. I purchased the gold ticket for the best experience since this was a a place I have been wanting to visit for a long time. The curators have spent so much time and effort to draw you into the mind of Gaudi. I highly recommend purchasing a ticket with at least the intelligent audio guide. You get an iPad that gives you great history info plus the augmented reality gives you an idea of how the place would have been furnished (since it is mostly empty) as well as fun creatures the animate from the skylights, windows, and doors that remind you of how connected to nature the mind of Gaudi was when designing buildings or structures. Even the gift shops had items that were well made and had the same quality of the architecture around you Some things to know: It took me 3 hours to tour the place but I took my time looking at all the mechanics and beauty of the designs. IMO you need at least 2 hours to tour the building. Also of note, there are allot of stairs so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Another word of advice, larger tours come through the house. If you are feeling crowed, wait for the people to pass in a corner and there will be a buffer between groups. This is a must see! 10 out of 10!

I booked an audio guided tour and had an absolutely amazing time. I think it's definitely one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen and would definitely recommend visiting. Be sure to follow all the visitor signs to fully complete the tour as it can get a little confusing.

Strange building, one of the strongest attractions in the city, if you have come all this way, it's a good idea to ride the metro for a look. Organic inspired structure that flows and ebbs. A visual feast for the eyes, you can stand a while and take it in, if your up for it, purchase a ticket and take a look inside.

  • 5/5 Echo L. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely stunning architecture, full of amazing shapes, curves and colors. Walking inside the building feels like wandering in a romantic aquarium. The video guide is also very helpful and fun to play with. Try to get your ticket in advance, so you don’t need to pay extra for the gold ticket.

  • 5/5 Ben L. 8 months ago on Google
The house is stunning, the experience novel, the price steep. We bought the Gold tickets (kids free) and it was worth the little extra to skip the line. You don't want to be in a crowd of people if you can avoid it. The audio guides were informative and the augmented reality tablets kept the kids engaged. The architecture is second-to-none, especially the woodwork.

  • 5/5 Sharon D. 8 months ago on Google
All I can say is it is 'it's so worth it' We booked the 1st entrance at 8:30, the queue went quickly & we were inside 10 minutes later. I wish more architects had this insane genius, working with nature to craft light, cool and warm spaces, recycling of previously used building supplies into beautiful formations, stucco's and art, without us using up all being forced to use our natural resources, with electrical decvices

  • 5/5 Joel L. 6 months ago on Google
Did the gold tour. Very interesting architectural tour. Worth the time and expense. Audio visual stuff at the beginning and end were a bit weird. Tour doesn't really discuss much of Gaudi's life or the owner that commissioned such an expensive place to build.

  • 5/5 Anna 6 months ago on Google
Casa Batlló was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. The imagination and genius of Gaudi is visible in every corner of this house. I booked the first entry tickets, which cost a bit more, but it was worth every Euro. This visit more than exceeded my expectations.

  • 5/5 Benjamin C. 5 months ago on Google
The experience was truly mesmerizing. Every aspect of the building was clearly very well planned with the scents and textures. The stairwell was honestly breathtaking and stunning. The sunroof was well placed to let sunlight in without having the rays shine in your eyes. Aside from the architecture parts, the crowd was well managed so that there were no stops and you could go at your own pace. Even though the building was old, it didn’t feel old. It was well kept and still felt modern. Overall, it was a great experience for my family and we loved it. I highly recommend it to other tourists alike.

  • 5/5 Charles 5 months ago on Google
A must visit, definitely worth the price. I wasn't sure what to expect but the audio tour and house in general is really awesome. I've never seen a house like it and it's very impressive. The best part for me was the basement where they have a full room / screen experience to finish off the tour which is really good. Definitely a must visit for all Barcelona tourists.

This place is incredible, I cannot imagine someone designing and created it since the 1900s, must be a forward thinker! I was amazed by its beauty, and all every single details of the house. I got a Silver ticket, which allowed you ti skip lines and has access to some areas that the Blue ticket does not. This place was recognized as World Heritage Site, although the money we paid was pretty high, 36€, they say it is dedicated to renovation plan of the house, so I guess it was worth it. Highly recommend buying a book about Gaudi in the end of the tour!

  • 4/5 Maja L. 5 months ago on Google
One of its kind architecture by Gaudí. It has a great tour within the building that takes around an hour while you listen to your audio guide, nice view from the rooftop. Must book ticket in advance, even if you go off-season there is a lot of people. Audio guide could be more insightful, like the one in Casa Mila.

I visited Casa Batlo out of season, I bought tickets in advance and still, I didn't manage to enjoy the sight. Outside, inside, it was a continuous queue. Queues to enter, queues to move from room to room, queues on the stairs... I didn't see much, because I'm smaller than other tourists and didn't manage to see much. The only plus point is that I bought the Gold ticket and with it I had access to the room with clothes and furniture, so there were a little less people and I saw more. Tablets with augmented reality were also an interesting option. Although the choice of languages is very small.

  • 5/5 Viktória P. 5 months ago on Google
I think it's worth the visit, very interesting to hear the details about the house. We bought the silver ticket, that gives you access to a tablet and augmented reality, the Gaudi Dome, and the original concierge room. It costs about 8 euros more and I think for children it's more exciting than for adults.

  • 5/5 Jay P. 4 months ago on Google
Its the most historical and superior architectural building. The actual beauty is inside so do plan buying a ticket but be careful that you buy ticket in advance and reach before time especially on long weekends and holidays. There will be huge queues of visitors.

  • 5/5 Michelle M. 4 months ago on Google
Very pretty... Only saw the outside as I think it's highway robbery at 35 euros. What I did see was nice enough. Very creatively done, a work of art. Just can't afford the inside!

  • 4/5 Jessica D. 5 months ago on Google
Purchased the gold ticket which allowed direct access at chosen time. The tablet and headset were helpful to navigate the house. The house itself is a work of art - so beautiful, intricate and artistic. Definitely worth a visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the immersive experience in the 'cube' at the end of the tour.

  • 4/5 Rick D. 3 months ago on Google New
The architecture was on a different level. Even up to the door handles and light fixtures were designed by the architect. The craftsmanship was just amazing. We got the self guided tour, which came with a device to listen to a very detailed narrative about the design and history of the building. It was a bit crowded at times. The last part of the exhibition was like a 3d experience of their interpretation of the mind of the architect, which was entertaining.

Went here to celebrate my 18th birthday!!! Was gorgeous and absolutely worth the money we got gold passes, very detailed tour that comes with it however having a picture on the balcony cost us 13 euros !! Still worth it just be aware of extra costs. The rooftop bar didn’t have much choice but was still really nice with a good view and friendly helpful staff. (Included picture of Christmas lights on the street outside)

  • 4/5 Chi Kit W. 4 months ago on Google
Do recommend paying for the highest pass level you can afford (Blue < Silver < Gold), since the difference between Blue and Gold is only 29Euro vs 39Euro. AND BUY TICKETS BEFOREHAND! Check out the official site for the differences between pass levels (mainly AR tablet, Gaudi Dome, access to specific rooms, etc.) Crowd management could've been done better, as all pass levels converge and you don't get special treatment once you're inside areas where everyone can access. The team-lab-esque Gaudi dome experience was nice, although I can't say too relevant to the actual Casa. Worth the extra difference in pricing though The casa is quite interesting, esp. considering it was an actual residence.

I’m impressed by all the work, art work, how creative and talented people can be. It’s definitely a must if you travel to Barcelona. I personally love the experience of seeing the Casa Batlló (and generally every work of art made by Gaudí). At least once in life you have to see it.😍
