Brilliant atmosphere. If you're attending a game here in the standing section it's best to arrive very early.

The one and only Ruhrstadion at Castroper Straße ist one of the finest and best regarded stadiums in all of Germany. Built in the 70s it's THE example of a 100% football stadium. If you like to watch "real" football, enjoying Beer and Bratwurst, the home of the VFL Bochum is the place. After the Game it just takes a 15 minute walk to famous Bermuda Dreieck

A decent enough stadium for a second tier club, though it’s quite dated in places. A nightmare to get in and out of the guest blocks though, especially when security had locked vital access gates when they were struggling to deal with the numbers.

Bohum it's a lucky football club that has a wonderful and sociable audience! It seemed like there was a program prepared by Bohum fans. Singing Herbert Grönemeyer's Bochum Song from all the fans it makes you have goosbumps. 5 of 5 for the funs!

It was my first time to attended live match for Bochum and I really loved this club and the way Bochum's fans supports their team, and I decided that I will be one of them ✌ 💙 plus two clubs I'm already supporting - Al Ahly from Egypt 🦅❤ and Real Madrid 👑🤍

Ruhrstadion, known as Vonovia Ruhrstadion due to a sponsorship deal, is a football stadium in Bochum, Germany. It is the home ground for the VfL Bochum and has a capacity of 27,599. It was known as rewirpowerSTADION [ʁeˈviːɐ̯paʊ.ɐˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn] (or, rarely, [ʁəˈviːɐ̯-]) from 2006–16, also for sponsorship reasons.

I have attended 2 games here in the last year, both times were a great experience. 12 euro for a ticket in the terracing behind the goals (bought online and printed at home) Fans were excellent at both games with constant chanting and singing throughout. Beer and food were great too and not to expensive. Short tram ride from the station (which is free with your match ticket) or a half hour walk, with plenty of beer stops on route. Can't wait to get back to another game.

The stadium layout makes it hard to get in on a crowded game, the food and beverages are good. However seats are often sticky and the ground is very dirty, however considering that it's a second league the condition of the stadium is acceptable. People often insult other people standing up so you might get a beer to the head when going to the bathroom. Which is extremely dirty.
