😠 $65 for 18 holes during the week for this (these are photos of several of the "fairways").... What a shame, use to be such a great course. Hard to believe it's sister course is Shepherd's Hollow. People often mention play, holes, time, conditions, reviews, golf,

Feel ripped off. For the two courses this place is associated with and the price they charge I expected so much better. Basically playing in a swamp. Tee boxes were nothing but mud. Fairways were in rough shape and that's being nice. There's plenty of courses for cheaper that you can play that are taken care of much better.

Bartender excellent Starter and overall staff, excellent (especially the starter, I love the old dad jokes). Range, pretty solid. Course: slow paced/crawl, and the conditions don't justify 85$, not even close. However, that's not my gripe. My issue is that you forced me to reserve online, pay up front, at 85$ a head. One of our players had an emergency and couldn't make it last minute. There's no rain checks, no refunds, no nothing. I even asked if I could just give it to the next random guy or girl that shows up and the answer was no. That's so short sighted as a business owner I don't even know where to begin. That rain check would have me come back with another set of players (for example). But now this course is dead to me. So good luck to you I guess, there's a reason your reviews are garbage and it comes from the top down, not the bottom up. The staff I met was solid, so I can only assume it's poor management.

Golf course in my hometown. I used to play there frequently when it was owned by Rochester Hills which gave its residents a slight discount with reasonable green fees. Now, under new management, I like so many others now play there maybe once a year only to rekindle fond memories of days gone by before it finally prices itself out of existence. News flash. You lost your 4 star rating. My son in law, daughter and grandson played there over the Labor Day weekend and the starter had the audacity to ask if they paid for my 5 year old granddaughter as a rider. They said no and had to cough up another 15 dollars to have a family outing. How monetary rude. Failure is around the corner for this course unless they care for their guests at all levels.

Overall would not come again. Price was way too high for this poorly maintained course. The course is not well designed - a couple holes were too crowded, tee boxes running parallel to each other - us and another group were hitting balls into each other’s fairway. Not ideal. See pictures for the grounds themselves. Some staff were nice - the worker at the starter box was, and the one clubhouse person. $42 for 9, $15 for a rider. Also - we paid $57 in total, but were held up 5-10 min at the starter shack because they said we didn’t pay - some official was yelling aggressively over the walkie talkie to “Stop them they haven’t paid for a rider”. After all of it, they confirmed we had paid, but didn’t apologize. Seems very unorganized and not at all well kept.

For the price of the course and having played Sheppards and Cherry Creek, you would think this place would be nicer. The course/nature is beautiful. The course itself is pretty tough. Pretty narrow course and the greens are elevated and sloping. The course felt Gimmicky. Best way i could described it. The cart paths are also pretty beat up.

7/16 paid $78 for am tee time. Course in terrible shape. 14th fairway was a parking lot. Some areas over watered-soggy. Greens were in good condition. Criminal to charge this much for these conditions.

How can you pay $45 for 9 holes and it also take just over 3 hours with waits on every hole with mediocre play. Course was decent... Figure out your tee times please, that was ridiculous

Played yesterday, 85 for 18 holes. We were rushed off the first tee, despite not having a cart available for use until right at our tee time. We then proceeded to have 3-4 groups on every hole from hole 2 onward. The course maintenance was decent at best, ball marks riddled most greens and tee boxes were absolutely demolished. I don't say this often, but I would've rathered to not golf. Nearly 5.5 hour round, poor conditions for an overpriced course

The conditions here have improved dramatically in the last month. They have a new golf course superintendent who seems to have an eye for detail. I have always enjoyed this golf course, so it is nice to see that the conditions are improving. Definitely on my list to play again this year.

I normally don’t leave reviews but after reading a lot of bad reviews I thought I needed to. Tried this course for the first time and I must say it is fantastic! They are obviously doing some repairs and I heard there was some infestation last year so maybe that caused some damage but this course was beautiful. Fun to play. Challenging on some holes but forgiving on others. You need to keep it in the fairway or lay up on some holes but that made it fun. Greens were fast! Hit some uphill putts that ran out so be careful or stay below the hole. Not sure what course all the bad reviews were playing but don’t read them. Go play this course!!

Not sure how this course is so poorly rated on here. Played here last week and was rather impressed with the course conditions (I'm sure all the rain we've gotten this summer has helped them out tremendously). The entire staff here, from the clubhouse to the starter, are extremely friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great, no complaints there. Plenty of blind tee shots and lots of doglegs, which makes it a challenging but fun course to play. Looking forward to golfing here again in the future.

5 hours and 45 minutes to play 18 holes. Tee time was 8:30 am. The previous time I played it was only slightly better. Until they fix this, I won't be returning, especially at the price they charge.

I came to this course for the first time this past weekend and had such an incredible experience. Staff was extremely friendly and the course was very well maintained. I look forward to coming back and playing here later this summer.

zzzzzzzzzz snoooooooze fest. and like most unfortunate things nowadays its way over priced and maintained like garbage. Also no point to pay for a cart when pace of play is that of an ant farm ( i can walk 18 in under 4 hours). shepherds hollow should be embarrassed to be associated with this place

Staff was amazing, nice clubhouse. For the price the course is pretty beat up. One green had pipes in it so it looked like there was multiple holes.

This is a great golf course, very well managed, course is in excellent condition, and fantastic customer service! Poor reviews are not reflective of this course seem to be more personal agenda than otherwise. Give it a try you will be happy!

On a Sunday, no beverage cart on the course, no marshal to enforce pace of play and the course itself has major drainage issues. Carts are in need of maintenance. Greens are very fast, but not worth the 80 dollars per person.

Don't come here! Golfer be Ware!!! Not only is the course in rough shape but the lady's in front are rude and incompetent. We booked a tee time within an hour( no wonder no one wants to golf here) for 3 golfers and the 3rd golfer couldn't make it, they still charged us for 3 and could not right a rain check for the 3rd golfer per the manger Coleen Mobus. Ridiculous unprofessional and customer service.

Haven't played much golf this year, recovering from an injury. Got out on PT yesterday. The course is/was in great shape even with all the rain we've been seeing. The carts were clean, that was a nice touch. I'll be back.
