    One star is extremely generous. A terribly run practice, where profits seem to come before patients. Aggressive and overly defensive receptionists (rather than the expected tenacious and 'happy to help'). The GP places several layers between himself and the patients, making it difficult to be seen by him. In order to receive a telephone consultation, you're expected to phone between 08:00-09:00. However, you could be waiting for a call all day. Test samples aren't always interpreted in a timely manner - so you could be waiting for days for a call back, unnecessarily. The practice is rooted towards the bottom of the local GP league tables with good reason. My advice would be to find a practice that is capable of meeting your requirements at times of need. Time and time again, this practice has let me down. One area if hope - Saeed is courteous, caring and highly professional. If only the GP could be half as effective. Despite being in a great location, the practice is an all-round disappointment, based upon my experiences.

    The worst practice in Bolton. The place is dingy and miserable. Only one doctor so you'll NEVER be able to see him and receptionists are very unhelpful, they don't even pick up the phone sometimes and other times they misinform you. For example I once had a serious issue so I needed to come into the walk in clinic, the lady I spoke to told me to call in the morning at 9am (not before because they can't accept it). Next morning I call in at 9:02am and I'm told it's fully booked and to call earlier. I tried again the next day at about 8:30am and again I was too late... If you ever try and book a regular appointment they try and sway you and say "oh it'll be 2-3 weeks why don't you just come into the walk in?" But then you'll never get an appointment. They never apologise either and sometimes they make it seem like it's your fault for not working around their terrible system. I don't know if they are forced to use this system in place or they prefer it but it is not working. The only good thing about the place is the nurses who you'll end up seeing most of the time if you do manage to see anyone and they are very professional and competent. The doctor is too but you can tell he's overworked and trying to rush through your appointment most of the time, I feel a bit sorry for him but at the same time he needs to get the place in order with some better receptionists and a better system. Perhaps an extra doctor. Needless to say I have left and instantly get a much more reliable and smoother experience at my current GP even with all the COVID situation happening. I delayed writing this review just to see if all GPs were as bad as Deane Clinic and maybe they are all just overworked due to being on the NHS but my new practice has been very smooth and easy since I joined with the nicest staff and best service before and now during the COVID situation. Highly recommend avoiding Deane Clinic.

    Worst GP I ever experienced. The receptionists here (specially Indians) are very rude, disrespectful and even racist. They shout at people & try their best to make things difficult, inconvenient and unpleasant.

    Absolute embarrassment! Saeed and janette have been amazing since I moved to this surgery but the Dr is always late, doesn’t let you even explain your problem, rude, talks over you and makes the whole process difficult when he is meant to do the complete opposite. I write this the first time after being fobbed off by this dr on numerous occasions! Probably the worst dr I have ever ever come across. Definitely changing surgery!

    I have been at this surgery since we moved to Bolton and it’s a complete joke only reason we stayed was because Jannette was fantastic now that she’s retired going to have to find somewhere else to take my family! Been waiting a week for a telephone consultation as your not allowed to be seen anymore until you have a phone consultation first and now I can’t get through as they keep cutting of the call and all I’m trying to find out if I’m still on the list for the phone call I was meant to have Tuesday and I’ve been ringing since this morning it is now 4.30 joke!!!

    I have to say never had a problem in 15yrs saheed and Jeanette and the receptionist have been awesome. The only issue I have had was postcode lottery on test strips. The wait can be long but I've been a and e and waited much much longer. Yes it's hard to see main doctor but that's high demand and anything the nurses don't know they ask doctor who 9 out of 10 will come check you over just to make sure..

    Absolutely disgraceful service. My wife needed to see the doctor urgently, and they said they would ring her back yesterday. No phone call or anything asked to speak to the manager of the place, and the feedback is that she is working from home and we have to put a letter in before she would speak to us. The next stop is possibly looking at taking it legal now. Please, people, don't use this dump. They are not interested in you.

    The car park is absolutely covered in ice. There has been no attempt at clearing the snow from last weekend and because of the lower temperature, the snow has frozen and turned into ice. Great if you're looking for a free ice rink, not so great for disabled people.

    Terrible surgery. I wouldn't recommend this practise to anyone. Receptions and Staff are all really bad at their job. Only one who isn't is Syed. They always give the wrong information, I'm really surprised they haven't been closed down for incompetence.

    I had absolutely superb service from this top notch clinic. Also from the pharmacy. Couldn’t fault their excellent advice and care. I’m really saddened by the terrible reviews that the clinic has received over the years. They could not have been more helpful to me. Shocked!

    I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, the receptionists decide if you're sick enough to be seen and god forbid you actually need help that day. I had a severe UTI that left me PARALYZED for a week, and what did Janette say? 'leave it a few days to clear up on its own', when I should've called for an ambulance! Worst doctors office ever. If I could give negative stars I would.

    Very helpful receptionists and pharmacy staff always from my experience. Dr Selverajan is an extremely professional Doctor and has time for patients to deal with properly. I have been using their practice for over 10 years now I have seen Saeed and Janette too, also and they have been nothing but super professional. Sometimes there is a wait but that is no different to anywhere in the NHS its what you may expect when we have one of the best healthcare services in the world. Really do not understand why people on google feel the need to put terrible reviews with NOTHING concrete to back it up that is ridiculous, also if I encountered any issues such as what people are saying I would speak to the Doctor about it first. I had one small complaint one time and the Doctor sorted it out immediately. Blaming the clinic for not being able to get an appointment for 3 weeks is hardly their fault when the NHS is drowning with people wanting appointments, if you ring at 8:30am you can get an emergency appointment. I have never had any trouble getting through to them on the phone. People should be taking advice from their doctors as they know far better than most of us! Thank you Deane Clinic

    I have moved around regularly due to work and have used the services of various GPs but this place has to be the worst clinic I have used. I have been trying to chase a Fitnote for a week now, this is not something I have done before, why is it such a stressful process to obtain one?

    Great place from my point of veiw, the doctors are very good and have time to listern to you, i have had to visit several times this year, the staff from reception to doctors have bin great with me and have helped me on every visit whilst under pressure, keep up the good work .

    The reception staff are very pleasent caring and very understanding and supportive the doctor dr sylvarajan who is very helpful I suffer with a few illnesses dr sylvarajan will see me at short notice or will phone me to arrange medication if im to ill to attend the surgery or if I'm poorly or In need of treatment the surgery is always clean and tidy

    I would like to thank Dr Selvarajan His quick response with the treatment he gave me, saved me from having to go into hospital and possibly saved my life. His attentive and meticulous treatment to me, was so thoughtful and I can't thank him enough I am now on the mend thanks to this brilliant doctor Thank you once again

    Terrible system and attitude! They do not really care about the patients. As long as their salaries keep coming, they care about nothing else, especially Dr. M. Selvarajan who takes himself as a demigod!

    My husband was coughing up blood. Contacted surgery for appointment with doctor. Could only speak to receptionist. Got call back to say nurse had prescribed antibiotics. She Didn't think a problem. That was in August. Changed surgery. Today 22nd December husband saw consultant after many tests to be diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This surgery is not fit for purpose and we will be suing for lack of care. If you value your health, then find another doctor.

    Awful. If you manage to get through someone on the phone, you face rood, unhelpful receptionist, appointments system is ridiculous and when u eventually get to see someone its not even GP, but a practitioner thats not really bothered to help. Really bad.

    I moved from the surgery a few years ago to a closer one but have moved back here, I have always found the reception staff very helpful, Jeanette is wonderful and saheed is always friendly and very good at what he does. The pharmacy is very well organised for repeat prescriptions and helpful.
