Honestly, my expectations were very low for this hotel due to other reviews but it really wasn’t bad at all. All the employees are super nice and helpful and the room is fine. The pool was also great with tons of seating so you never have to worry about finding a spot during the day. I do wish there was more FREE shaded areas but Las Vegas as a whole offers nothing free! Also, the location is amazing! We were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go. Rooms didn’t smell like smoke but they also weren’t the cleanest. If you’re someone who needs a spotless hotel and you’re expectations are high, don’t stay here. But if you just need a room to sleep and shower, this place is perfect! If you get asked to do the timeshare by someone working at the hotel, I’d avoid it. We did it and got $200 and 2 nights free at Wyndham but they’re scam artists and you have to make sure you say no to them

I'm from California and couldn't get over the amount of cigarette smoke that permeated every bit of clothes and gave me a headache even with a mask. Even staying on the smoke free floor didn't help with second hand smoke. Fairly kid friendly with arcade and pool being a hit. Make sure to bring snacks because otherwise you'll spend an easy hundred just in snacks if you have kids.

TL;DR - Value for money and you get what you pay for. I can't really complain about anything for this price. Yes, rooms are dated and definitely could be better cleaned. Desks are occasionally dusty and surfaces can sometimes be greasy. Beds and linen were clean, bathroom had everything I needed, as did the room in general. The whole property definitely needs some renovation. Check in staff and service in general is pretty good, prompt and polite. Overall, a decent choice for families for a budget stay close to the strip.

The room smells. The view of a white wall is horrible. The elevators take forever to come. They have four elevators one will come after about a five minute wait. They closed the parking garage so even as a guest I had no parking spot available unless I paid for valet parking. My neighbors fought all day long. Security had to come. They didn’t do anything about it. Just stood in the hall and listened to this poor guys woman yelling at him. The Tournament Of Kings show was not as good as it has been in the past. The food was awful. They don’t have tomato soup anymore. And charge $10 for a can of beer. The casino smells of smoke all the time. They don’t bring drinks to you while playing. I had to buy drinks at the bar. The old lady’s that come around get one drink at a time. The Bar tender said the camera people Don’t like them to comp to many drinks. I will not stay here again this has been a disgrace. People should look else where. Las Vegas has a lot better places to stay.

Request a room far away from the elevator and utilities- I was awoke roughly every 10-30 minutes by the sounds of pipes knocking or the elevator running. I’ve never had a problem with being able to hear the pipes or elevators at any other hotel before (the fellow hotel guests were very quiet). No refrigerator, no coffee maker. Window shade only, no curtain covering a very bright street below. Good thing the window was so dirty- kept some light out. All restaurants and bars closed pretty early and the drink machines on our floor were turned off! Had to buy ultra expensive snacks at hotel store. All that being said, I’m no princess so this rundown castle was tolerable for one night. The bed and pillows were comfy and clean. The bathroom was stocked and clean. All employees encountered were very friendly and helpful. Okay for the price and proximity to the airport.

The location of this hotel is really good. That is not the issue or why I am rating this experience 1 star. We booked our hotel at a rate which was fine. The reservation was from Friday - Sunday. We checked in on Friday (which was not a simple process) but we did figure it out with MINIMUM help from the employees. We woke up Saturday to an email saying that our reservation had ended on SATURDAY, but remember we booked through Sunday. So he went to front desk, where several other people were having the same issue. They were told that if they wanted to continue their stay, we would all have to pay $600 per night. Talking about some additional fee that did not show up at check out when we reserved the room. So you mean to tell me that you allow bookings at one price and when people get there you try inconvenience them by tripling the price. How is that right? That is bad business and I am completely disappointed in this treatment.

When I travel to Vegas, I like to spend as much as I can on dining, entertainment, and gambling. My room comes last - it's a soft bed at the end of the night, preferably in an easily accessible location. Excalibur ticks those boxes for me. The room, while dated, was clean and comfortable, and the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The parking garage was reasonably convenient and I was able to do all my checking in remotely. Do yourself a favor and join MGM Rewards to try and lock in the best room rates for yourself.

Great hotel. It was clean and smelled nice. The room service was amazing! We came back to a made up bed with plentiful towels each day. The check in and out process was very easy. I liked that security stood at the hotel entrance of the casino to make sure that anyone without a key couldn't get to the elevators. The only thing that I would say that could be improved is having the workers know about the Tesla charging station because when asked they said no but there in fact was one. Also, to let future guest know that there is a $15 per night parking charge. Other than those two things, I loved it and would recommend it to others

We stayed in the resort tower for a very affordable price. The rooms were clean, but the amenities were lacking! No fridge, no worries! The ice machine was right down the hall and there were two sinks in the bathroom! One sink was designated as a cooler and the other for washing up! A microwave would have been nice but with the convenience of the restaurants all around, I get why there isn't one in the rooms! The staff were all friendly and the main casino floor was clean and welcoming! Can't wait to plan our next trip back!

Location is perfect. This hotel is at the start of the strip. The hotel looks magnificent from outside but the rooms are old. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. No fridge in all rooms (its a paid service but can be free if you need it for medical reasons). I was on the ground floor and with open curtains there was 0 privacy. Request for a room on higher floors. The parking was paid and it was really far from the rooms. The hotel needs to have free parking at least on the weekdays. The casino is good. The food options are not the best and really expensive. Take a 5 min walk on the strip for better/cheaper food. I recommend using the app for check-in, check-out and for accessing key card so that you can skip the line ups. If you are planning to be out all day/night and not spend time in the room, then this is the hotel for you. Overall, a good option for the price you pay to stay on the strip.

Very pleasant experience since they remodeled. We even got a complementary, Stay-well room upgrade. Staff was pleasant. Rooms were decent and all amenities were convenient and enjoyable. Arcade was entertaining too. Pool was just okay because some sections were closed for season. Overall, very satisfying experience. I would recommend and stay here again!

For the price it makes for a great deal! I will have to say that the room portion and bathrooms are a little dated. It's a shame that they aren't putting a little money back into the facility. We enjoyed that they had a great selection for food and drink options. Prices do range depending on where your eating/drinking. Be prepared for some larger bills then "normal". The gambling was pretty decent, they have just about everything that you need. Easy to get around on the strip from this location. The staff are pretty good, very helpful and friendly. Overall I think for the price I would definitely recommend this location.

First of the staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Everyone said hi or smiled when near. The room is clean although some scuffs on the walls. Linens smelled clean, bathroom was clean. They do charge a resort fee, but when booking with mgm it's all totaled up together, it's not hidden or added later. The room prices are lower so I feel it makes up for the resort fees. The pool area is gorgeous and ample. The views are awesome. There a lot to do in the resort, it is also kid friendly. The food and drink options are reasonable. You can walk to most anything to pass the time away. I was worried due to the reviews, but I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with the whole place.

We stayed in the resort tower/ well spring room, we had friends in the royal tower/ regular room, the room we had was the envy of the group. The room was clean, we had a great view, and the bedding was beyond comfortable. The casino and food court were clean. However, the hallways to the hotel rooms seem to never get vacuumed or picked up. The rooms are pretty well insulated, we didn't hear our neighbors at all, but we did hear some hallway noise. The food options were plenty and good. We received free drinks while playing. The staff I interacted with were friendly, pretty knowledge, and pleasant. The down side, the time share people. They are at every entrance (in most every MGM or partner casino to be fair) and they will ask and ask and ask and ask and ask and ask... Every. Single. Time. They see you. We reserved a King room with early check in, but they didn't have a king available. We settled for the double queen room, mostly for the view, but it would have been nice to get what I reserved and paid for. There was no apology made for that inconvenience, at all. The hotel has very clear signs that make getting around very easy inside and outside.

I have to start with this..... I left $1000 in the room safe for the day. The room had been cleaned when I returned, and I noticed the safe was open. I immediately recalled that I had forgotten to close it as we were in a rush to head out for the day and a panic shot through me. Boom $1000 sitting right where I left it untouched. I was so elated that I went to the check-in to ask for a manager regarding the level of integrity with their staff and tipped %5 of what they could have had. Staff was friendly, the room was clean, casino staff were fun, pools were many, and the free bands put on great shows. Surrounded by trams with quick access to anywhere on the strip and less expensive overall than other hotels. If you don't need fancy, this hotel is a great starting point for the strip

I would NOT stay here again. Rooms was kinda gross, but that really doesn't bother me. Hundreds of teens staying here for a volleyball tournament at Mandalay Bay. Tournament starts at 7, but tram doesn't run until 9? The wait at Starbucks in the morning was crazy because they don't have enough staff (check in was also a ridiculously long wait). Two other coffee shops don't have hours posted. Online it says they open at 6, but they didn't open until 630. I would not recommend this place. Additionally, it's 2024 and they still don't have working wifi at the hotel.

The place is old and dirty. I've never had a nice room there. I only stay there for the show I like to see and it's Uber cheap. There's mold all over the bathrooms. The room wasn't that dirty, the sheets were clean and they did service and clean the room nicely and leave us fresh towels. Everyone that works there is super nice. Check in and out is easy. The beds and pillows aren't great, but they're not terrible either. The bathrooms are the very worst though. The pool is super crowded but I think all hotel pools are in July. It would be nice if they didn't charge for the adults only pool, cause they don't enforce pool rules and there's kids jumping and splashing even in the jacuzzi with no parents in site.

WOW—A Night In A Castle! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had the royal treatment from start to finish! The check-in process was quick and efficient. Finding my chambers in the Resort Tower was quick and easy. Plenty of signage to help you find your room. The room is simple, clean and cozy. The bed was quite comfortable! I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was considering I stayed there on a Friday night right on the strip. There isn’t room service at this resort. The good news is you can have food delivered to you from local nearby restaurants. The only thing I wish I could have done was go to the Tournament of Kings Dinner Show so I could have dined with King Arthur and cheered for my knight! This place is fitting for any Lord or Lady!

It’s exactly how I imagined - older resort but still acceptable quality. Service was very great - no complaints there. Great location right on the strip for cheaper price than the other resorts. The swimming pool was nicely heated and hot tub was so amazingly warm. We also tried the buffet and it was okay, nothing special, but still good. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

This is by far the best place I have ever worked for. I was a kid coming to the castle excited to see knights at the round table. It engrained a sense of awe in me at a very young age. Now I get to work at Tournament of Kings and I’m running with horses. I love this job. As far as the company culture, they are service oriented, but also make sure their employees have what they need. Everyone is always willing to help out or ask questions, and security keeps everyone safe. If I could give this Hotel more stars I would.

This is my base camp for business trips, prices are fair, parking is rough if you come in late, but there is a large parking garage. The physical card was easier to use for parking over the phone. I normally try to book a stat well room, not sure if it helps at all but you get a air purifier and non smoking floors. Also the tournament of kings is an enjoyable show and even going without kids. Disappointed in the souvenir selection for the event and hotel though.

If you want decent reasonable accommodations, it's awsome. It's not too fancy. But if you want to be close to strip It's the best. Parking is easy. Not too far to walk to either lots or garage. Strip is across the street. This is our third time staying there and you can't beat it for the price.

If you aren’t a smoker the smell will be incredibly challenging. It was noticeable in my “non-smoking” room on the 8th floor. Rooms are very dated and old and not very sound proofed. Beds were nice though. I find it odd when hotels have little cards asking you to save water by reusing your towel but then have ancient toilets with massive tanks that guzzle litres of water every time you flush. Overall, it worked to stay here, but I wouldn’t go again.

I stayed in the Royal Tower for a solo trip. I felt very safe and loved every minute of my stay. Everything is laid out very nicely and there are signs for everything. Just make sure you have your room key at the ready for everything you do. The pool was relaxing and refreshing. The location was perfect for easy access to everything on the strip. I would recommend the Excalibur to anyone going to Vegas!

Located on the southern end of The Strip and an easy walking distance of other Strip attractions. Spacious and comfortable room. Excellent fitness center, perfectly air conditioned over looking swimming pool. Dairy Queen in casino, a bonus. The show, Tournament of Kings, was surprisingly good fun and the included meal was excellent, much more than enough for one person.

I had no problem during my stay. I took off an extra star because of the couch was old, air vents, and the dressers had dust on it. but other than that room was spacious , lots of amenities. Staff was very helpful and the tournament of knights show was 💯 .

Hotel is VERY outdated. Smells of smoke everywhere. The pool area is nice with lots of space for people to sit and lounge. Location was great. Right on the strip. Staff was pretty decent and helpful. The arcade was lots of fun. We enjoyed the 4D movie. I found a decent deal on Groupon but honestly wouldn't go back.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were very clean. Kudos to housekeeping. The waitress was mean to everyone when I wanted a drink for gambling. Very cheap liquor in the free drinks. Nice restaurants. Do t sign up for timeshare for the Wyndham resorts. They will file for credit cards in your name if u don't buy. This is very illegal. The free gifts are not worth it.

Stayed there at the start of my summer vacation. Was disappointed in the room. The shower was super slippery that caused my son to slip and fall. The room was rather small for a room that was supposed to hold four people. I do understand that the room is supposed to have a middle times feel but still needs a make over. The pools for a resort was absolutely freezing. My son's lips started to turn purple forcing me to get him out of the pool even though he was enjoying himself. The Knight Tournament was the best part of the whole stay. They have shops in the upper decks of the casino section with some amazing things to part take in, for example temporary tattoos. Overall it was a decent stay.

$41 extra fee/ day even if booked on Expedia. The rooms and bathroom are expansive; great pillows and mattress, lots of liquid soap and body lotion included. I like the castle theme. Big workout room. No fridge or microwave. Only stayed one night.

I've stayed in the Excalibur in the past and highly recommend it based on overall vibe and it's location towards the south end of the strip. In the past, I would have given five stars, however I will still give four stars due to the changes made to the pool area. Not sure if it happened because of the pandemic, but the adult pool is no longer an option, and you have to pay a significant amount of money just to rent out lounge chairs and umbrella. Due to this, I may explore staying elsewhere next time. However, if cost is not an issue, this is a good location.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The Stay Well rooms smelt nice and filtered a lot of the casino smells out. Beds were comfy. Parking garage was conveniently located, just wished the instructions for use were a little clearer. Location was great for us to walk around and experience the strip. All in all it was an excellent experience.

My best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was an okay stay. Check in was a bit stressful because the amount that was required to check in did not match my confirmation email and the concierge became inpatient and rude while I was on the phone with the bank. She ended up waiving by my deposit fee of $150 which was helpful. The location is good. The hotel could use some renovations. The rooms could use a mini fridge and microwave. The hallway had a weird cleaning odor, similar to Pine Sol. There was a security guard at the elevator entrances and you were required to scan your room key before entering the elevator space so that was nice for security purposes but the security was not posted there consistently. The price was very good for our 3 night stay. I would not recommend this hotel for an extended stay. There’s so many other hotels around the area where you could have better accommodations and just pay a little more money.

Good location but not the best hotel. The casino wreaked of cigarettes. The lobby staff was either nice or rude, no in-between. We tried to talk to someone about an early check in and were just spoken about buying tickets to shows, so we weren't listened to.The hallway of the hotel rooms smelled like a mix of cinnamon and a cleaning solution that was overwhelmingly strong. The room smelled like chlorine. No one came to clean the room during the weekend I was there. The shower was rusting and the sink was cracking. The toilet flushed very slowly and there were times I thought it would get clogged. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. My view was the wall from the other hotel tower. I've stayed in much cheaper motels that were nicer than this (that clean the room more often, are modern, and have a microwave and refrigerator in the room). I wouldn't stay here again.

We had a great start to our first trip to Las Vegas by staying at Excalibur. The rooms were clean and quiet even though we had a full view of the strip. The only complaint I had was that the room faced the sun, and the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up. If you're looking for a budget friendly, family-friendly establishment (highly recommend the tournament of kings), give Excalibur a chance.

The hotel is outdated and rundown. There is very strong smell everywhere on premises. Especially downstairs carpeted area. Probably masking the otherwise stink. It really got to us after a while. Uncomfortable beds. Blanket is very hot. Pillows are humongous and uncomfortable. Our necks hurt. Mattress is older, too soft and very hot. Every night we had the most uncomfortable sleep. Always too hot and uncomfortable. There is no coffeemaker in the room, no fridge, no cups. All rooms. It's as basic as it gets. But the location is nice. It's one of the cheaper options on the strip. Overall, more affordable option to visit Vegas. Just lower your expectations.

It was not their fault they were cyber hacked the week we were there, they handled it the best they could. The rooms are just a place to sleep. Nothing fancy and a bit dated. The beds are comfortable but we only saw the attendant 1 time during our stay.

2020March. A Beautiful Night in A Castle themed hotel. Signs all over the place. The rooms are nice and great view of the surrounding area. I didn’t have to wait long to check-in. Such proficiency and quick. Lots of stuff to do inside the hotel. A great deal of restaurants inside the hotel as well. No room service, but you can order food from outside the hotel to have food delivered to your room. Slots and gambling tables all over the hotel. Such a wonderful stay and experience. So quiet for the hotel to be close to the strip, and being the middle of the week and beginning of the weekend. Comfortable bed, nice size room, and clean. I’ve stayed at several different hotels throughout Vegas and been here a couple of times. Now if you’ve never eaten at a Tournament of Kings Dinner show then you should attend that. I’ve been to them and Medieval Times(MD, NJ, & FL) This place is fitting for any Lord and Lady! This hotel’s them is the best.

The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are old but well maintained. We liked the fact that we checked in the hotel online and the app allows you you create a virtual Bluetooth access to the room door. We didn't visit the lobby to ask for physical cards to access the room. They have a spa and pool area too. The bathroom pipes need some maintenance but, in general is a good place to stay. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great location and good price. I definitely would come back.

Great check-in experience. My room had a weird smell, and the remote to the tv didn’t work as well as the bedside lamp not working. When I called they came and fixed both promptly. Two of the four pools were closed, and the other two were cloudy. Have to walk through a cloud of cigarette and marijuana smoke at the entrance. Plenty of parking. The Fun Dungeon was cool.

Check in was easy. All of the staff members from the check in to security to housekeeping were all very friendly, courteous and helpful. This made our stay at this establishment super enjoyable. The room was excellent and very clean. The gambling areas were always clean and well maintained. The show was great and so was the food that was served during the show. Recommend this establishment.

For how much they charge per night, the rooms are INCREDIBLY spartan. No ice, no coffee pot, no fridge, no water. Just beds, a TV and some lights. The rooms were very worn-out. Old peeling wallpaper, very few outlets to charge anything, and the bed linen wasn't super clean either. If you are just going to gamble and don't really care about anything else, then I guess it may be passable. Watch out for the employees hanging out in the lobby/casino floor, they are constantly trying to sell you something. However, in all honesty, the Tournament of Kings was AMAZING! It's worth every penny for the tickets.

We checked in on Thursday 11/16 and stayed in room 7108 until Saturday 11/18. While walking in the lobby looking for a place to eat, my wife stepped and slipped on dog feces. This happened across the sports bar near Johnny Rockets. An employee witnessed the whole incident, and apologized, but offered no resolution. We immediately went back to our room to attempt cleaning her shoes, which was extremely gross and disgusting. They are completely ruined. We then decided to contact Guest Services and representative Nancy helped us by waiving the $79 resort fee to replace the cost of the shoes, which we were grateful for, but the amount barely covered the cost of the shoes. My wife and I had to walk across the lobby and get into an elevator with other people, which was incredibly embarrassing due to the stench. So, after thinking about the whole experience, having to deal with dog feces in a hotel room was simply unacceptable. Certainly not what one would expect staying at a big MGM hotel on the Vegas strip. Especially, on our first day. We feel that the full cost or our two day stay should be fully refunded. We emailed guest relations last Thursday while staying at the hotel and have yet to receive a resolution. If we don’t receive a refund, we will never return to the Excalibur and will share our experience on all possible platforms for others to be aware of how this establishment ignores their customers.

Had a great time at the Excalibur. Sure it's a little dated but between the massive arcade and easy access to other casinos it is a great place to stay. We stayed in a king suite with a soaking tub. The tub is a little dangerous to get in and out of so if you're not fit I would not suggest it but the room was at the end of the hall so no late night stumbling people. The knight show is still as awesome as ever and totally recommended. Plus the thunder down under is there so don't be alarmed with half naked muscular dudes walking around promoting the show. I asked for an application but they want muscular men not just big men :(

Extremely friendly staff! But the hotel rooms definitely leave a lot to be wanted. Not very clean, smells bad, sink was clogged, blow dryer didn’t work. If you aren’t too picky about cleanliness it’s not that bad. I just didn’t feel comfortable staying here but the staff were very nice to allow an early check out with any cancellation fees!

Great rate on room. Lucked into getting a strip view room which was awesome. Room was clean and spacious however the furniture could definitely use a refresh. Looked a little worn Didn't need to have assistance from hotel staff but our experience with the MGM rewards staff was excellent. Ate at the buffet which was good food, lots of selection. Casino was nice even though we lost and I really wish smoking wasn't allowed but that's fine and a matter of personal choice

My husband and I stayed here for a friend's trip back in June. This hotel/casino is nice, but, as it was built in the 90s, it has an older feel than most other casinos on the strip. I'll start with the positives: this hotel is very kid friendly with a whole arcade on the second floor, the casino floor is much more navigable than most of the others on the strip, and the amenities/services are incredible. The spa here is great, and the hotel has 3 pools. One huge positive is security. Excalibur requires key cards to access sleeping floors and the pool/spa area. Although this hotel does have an old-world charm, midevil to be specific, it is not without some issues. The biggest is location. Excalibur is at such a far end of the strip that it is about a 25-minute walk to the heart of the strip. Next, our room would be cleaned much later in the day, but it was always cleaned about the 2nd or 3rd time we'd come back to the room. Like I said, this hotel is older than a good amount of the other hotels on the strip, which means the carpets and other room amenities seem a bit "vintage." Lastly, the tables are not super affordable if you want to gamble on a budget, and the food options are both expensive and limited. Also, they do not have laundry service here, but they do offer dry cleaning. Overall, I had a good time and stay here, but I would more than likely choose another hotel the next time I go to Vegas.

Rooms were great, a little outdated, but overall, they served their purpose. The hotel had great restaurants and it was in a great location. I used the mobile check-in, and that was great and easy. Mobile checkout was a breeze and very convenient. This hotel was great if you are planning to see Usher, only a 10-minute walk.

Rooms are really dated but okay had to rent a refrigerator to have cool drinks. One day the maid left her cleaning gloves in my room on the floor. They were attentive and waived my resort fees. However had a great time in the city!

A more mature property that has a great location for hockey and football games. Great pool and clean. Staying for the weekend. Looking forward to exploring some more. 1st time out here. Walkways to other places are cool. Great food options. Nice staff.

This is our second time staying here. I believe you get your best bang for your buck. It's not that far from all the big names on the strip. Rooms are cheap, quiet and reasonably furnished. Amenities are pretty good in the resort not the best but average. We will keep coming here.

Folks, let me tell ya.... A lot of people will talk badly about some of the older places on the strip but I really didn't have anything bad to say about this place. It was my first time staying at this property and I wasn't sure what to expect after reading what others had to say about the place. But we got there and checked in with no issues. Front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. Got to the room which was clean and stocked. I couldn't ask for too much more than that. Sure the hallways and high traffic areas are showing their age a bit and some spots could use a touch up but really for the price you could be doing a lot worse. The casino floor was entertaining with a great variety of games. Plenty of stores and food options. We liked the buffet so much we ate there twice on our trip. The location is nice with a free tram that will take you in between a couple of the neighboring hotels which is nice. Checkout had a few hiccups but nothing that was unmanageable and they let us store our bags until it was time to leave for the airport. Overall, a great experience for me. I would definitely stay there again!

I had a positive overall experience at Excalibur Hotel, which boasts a charming old-style interior. While the interior design may be considered dated, it adds a certain nostalgic appeal that I found quite enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel's location is fantastic, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and amenities. I appreciated being in a prime area, making it easy to explore the city and access various forms of entertainment.

I love this place. Great for kids but still fun for adults. Good location and reasonably priced rooms. There's always good shows here and there's an arcade on the lower level if you like that kind of thing. I personally love the theming and there's decent food options. Minutes away from the MGM Grand with amazing! Food.

Pool closes at 6 pm every night, which we didn't know. We spent the whole day doing activities downtown and wanted to spend the evening in the pool. We paid a resort fee and couldn't even enjoy it! The entire casino floor stinks of smoke. You can see it floating in the air everywhere. The bathroom needs to be updated. There is rust on the fixtures, and the shower caulking is falling off. The elevators weren't working several times. When we first checked in, the lady told us the wrong tower after we had walked clear over there with all our luggage and not being able to use the elevators. The Food Court is extremely overpriced.

I haven't stayed at the Excalibur in a couple decades, at that time Vegas was trying to be Family Friendly. While all the Resort on the Strip still cater to Families, the Excalibur has definitely gone full Adult Entertainment. The self parking his easy to negotiate & enter the Resort. The Front Desk is heavily Staffed so check in goes smoothly. The Towers are easily to access with Security to ensure Visitors Safety. The rooms are large, comfortable & clean, My room had a great view of Luxor, Mandalay Bay & the Raiders Stadium. I didn't try to see the Stadium but hear it was easily to access it on foot. I will be staying at the Excalibur the next time I stay on the Strip.

My husband and I stayed there for our 16th wedding anniversary it was awesome. Had an awesome time. Rooms were very clean and security was great. They have the show Thunder Down Under it was amazing. The only reason the Excalibur doesn't get five stars is location on the strip. The casino floor and the little stores are great for buying a few drinks before playing.

The place was okay overall, however the rooms were not super nice. The furniture was a bit old and had visible scratches. The same goes for the bathroom and shower as well. The bed was pretty comfortable though. Location is great, we had a nice view of the pools and city from our window. I could check-in from my phone without ever having to talk to someone, that is an amazing feature, I wish it would be common everyone. The elevator and door could be opened by using my phone. The casino downstairs is nice too.

Excalibur has a good location and a great view over the city from the Jacuzzi in our top-floor suite. The Las Vegas Monorail is nearby and can take in most sights. The pool and SPA are very nice. The corner castle suites were comfortable and clean. Staff and security friendly. Good places to eat and entertain inside and outside the hotel. Airport nearby to fly in/out.

The rooms were decent. However, you can see the old aging of the building around you, so maybe a few renovations wouldn’t be a bad option for MGM. Very price friendly though and in terms of the casinos restaurants on the first floors, pretty solid, like a majority of hotels in Vegas even having an arcade for younger ones.

I mean, it's a budget hotel. So I don't know what we expected. But we are 2 people with blue hair, and the bathroom had large deposit of long brown hair. Just doesn't make you feel great about the overall cleanliness. But it's a nice budget place and pretty good casino and food court options. I would stay there again if I had to only sleep there, I think, but would consider better options if spending any time in the room

Location is great. Surprisingly the room was clean but the smell is very strong. Much more stronger than other hotels. Mixture of cigarettes and wet towel/floor. I honestly was expecting much worse based off the reviews but I would stay here again. Good prices for being on the strip

Reasonably enjoyed staying here, but I'm not hard to please. Liked the easy access to the monorail across the street at the MGM Grand and the casino floor wasn't too overwhelming, which made wandering around pretty easy. Husband said some of the staff was rude and unhelpful when he tried calling the lobby for assistance with the air conditioner. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the view.

I love the self parking garage, they have a lot of space. The casino is great too. Will be returning. I can't say anything bad; Staff were very friendly , the lifts worked very well.

Stayed in the resort tower. It’s a comfortable room but the air conditioning added more humidity. The check in and check out process was easy. Issue is the toiletries provided was not good. The soap was scratchy and the shampoo/conditioner didn’t feel like it cleaned anything. We had to go out and buy our own soap and shampoo/conditioner. BRING YOUR OWN SHAMPOO/SOAP. Location is great and with easy accessibility to the rest of the strip.

OVERALL, just amazing. So enjoyable for my family of four. The pool was great! Very friendly people and the prices were pretty fair. Beds are very comfortable and feel like clouds. Would definitely come back here. Everything is nearby so you don't have to walk that much. Thank you for this experience Excalibur!

Excalibur is a classic Las Vegas hotel and casino that's been around for decades. It's not the most luxurious place in town, but it's a great option for budget-minded travelers. It has a cool medieval theme along with a giant arcade which makes it a great option for kids. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a variety of amenities, including a pool, a casino, and a number of restaurants. The food at Excalibur is pretty good, and the prices are reasonable, I recommend Tournament of Kings if you are looking for dinner and a show. They also have a variety of bars and restaurants so there's something for everyone. The service at Excalibur can be hit or miss depending on how well staff it is. The hotel's proximity to T-Mobile makes the perfect spot to book a room for a nearby show or game.

They wrote the wrong room number on the card that holds the room keys, it took 45 minutes for them to resolve the issue as to why our keys would not open the door to the room, (luckily there were no guests in that room or they might have thought that we were trying to break in). The security guard that helped us was just as nice as can be. When they finally located the correct room, thankfully it was nice and clean with a very nice view of the strip. Slot machines are nice but they really don't pay out. Guess services is decent. For us, the Hotel is just too big next time we will probably stay at a smaller hotel with free parking.

Went to celebrate my wife and my sister's birthday. Had a blast. The rooms were great. The front desk service was awesome. Had fun gambling. I lost a little, but my sister was a big winner. Plenty of places to eat. I know this is crazy, being we are talking about Vegas, but I think you have the best exercise area I've ever seen in a hotel. That's just me.

I recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

It's better than expected. No hauntings occurred while I was there. The pool is great. They have 4 and a slide. There are lots of food options, and it's in a great spot. Showers were clean, beds were clean, and the iron was not usable. It stained my suit. Whoever used it previously might have used it to remove wax??

I enjoyed my stay. The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was very nice. The shower was even nicer..but I only wish there was a tub. The tv was a bit outdated. Couldn't get a real clear picture. I just turned the TV off. Overall I had a very comfortable stay.

It’s an inexpensive alternative to the fancy hotels in Las Vegas. The rooms were clean, but small and no thrills. Just a bed and television. The good thing is the location. It’s near MGM and New York,New York. It’s also close to shopping places for cloths and food. I loved that!!! The hotel is self is boring for adults. It might be better for young children.

Nice family hotel. Arcade for kids, family restaurants, and private pool has a water slide which is fun for the kids and adults. Rooms have no refrigerator, which we needed to store our cold waters due to hot weather. The cabinet under the TV is older, so it was very flimsy, and drawers would get stuck. The shower has no soap or shampoo, so bring your own. Beds are very comfy, nice, firm, and soft.

Nice enough rooms. Who goes to Las Vegas to stay in there room. Nice Casino, and decent sports book. Would definitely stay here again. Like most places on the strip the staff is always super busy and not excited to see you and answer questions. It's best to get all answers you can from the MGM App and avoid human contact if possible.

  • 3/5 Connie 9 months ago on Google
The hotel definitely needs some updating. The casino area smells like cigarettes, trying to be masked by perfumes. It's probably in the carpets that need replacing. I gave the service 2 stars because of staff in the food courts. It's probably the lowest quality of people working at the strip hotels. The room was ok and didn't have that smell, but the choice of TV channels was poor. And toiletries were bare minimum. The location was fair, depending on what you want to see. It's a 15-20 min walk to center strip where the higher end casinos are.

I'm a local so I can't comment on the hotel, resort side. But I came in to buy tickets at the box office. The hotel/ casino is medieval themed. Knights and horses everywhere. The decor is stunning and amazing to look at. I walked through the casino to find what u was looking for. The signage was easy to find and easy to figure out where I needed to go. The carpets have pathways to get you where you need to be. Once we got to the box office, there was no line so we went up to the staff member who greeted us with a smile and asked how she could help us. Her name was Karina and she was very pleasant to work with. She answered all of our questions with ease and went over all the details for our tickets. She also explained how to get to where we needed to go that night for our show. Great service.

Room was very clean and a beautiful view. Staff was very friendly and very supportive. Had an issue with some flaky people and Security was right on it. We went to The Tap for a meal. From beginning to end staff was great and the food was amazing. One of the best trips we've had there in Vegas.

My recent stay at Excalibur in Las Vegas exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotel's medieval theme creates a unique and immersive atmosphere, making it feel like you've stepped into a different world. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the Strip. The variety of dining options at Excalibur was impressive, with something to satisfy every palate. The food quality and service were excellent across the board. I especially enjoyed dining at one of the themed restaurants; it added an extra layer of fun to the experience. The entertainment options at Excalibur are top-notch, from the thrilling Tournament of Kings dinner show to the lively casino floor. There was never a dull moment during my stay. Additionally, the location on the Las Vegas Strip made it easy to explore other attractions and shows. The staff at Excalibur were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Overall, my stay at Excalibur was memorable, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Las Vegas experience.

Clean and quiet rooms. Front desk was quick and customer service was great. Price was reasonable. Great place to crash for the night and get some game time in before heading out to finish the remainder of our roadtrip to California. 10/10 would stay here again

Definitely enjoyed our Stay, The strip view was lovely. Found a great deal it was cheaper than a regular room. Very Convenient!! We was able to catch the tram to Mandalay Bay for evo no charge. Room Service came everyday. Plenty of restaurant options in there food court. Which was a plus. We didn't have to leave for anything. Pool/Spa was nice. Casino wasn't hot but it was nice. Had every game you need. When you check in. Lines were long and the mobile app wasn't working. My only Minor complaint.

Excalibur is a decent hotel and casino. It offers a variety of entertainment and food options especially in the food court area on the second floor. The room is a little dated even for being in one of the more recent renovated rooms. The bed is comfortable though and I slept like a baby every night. The sound between rooms can be a bit loud depending on your neighbors but nothing too crazy to get mad about. The casino offers a variety of games. I played only two slot machines and weren’t really crazy about them. Now, I would say one of the better things about Excalibur is the location. It is perfectly nestled along the south strip so not too busy and you can walk everywhere or grab the monorail. Finally, pricing. The price is worth it if you are just in Vegas for a few days like I was as it was mainly just a place to rest my head and 3 nights was less than $200 total.

Hotel was great ,all staff were friendly and welcoming handling the volume of people that came through the door . Rooms were clean and housekeeping staff were pleasant and respectful as they performed daily duties. Location is away from the crowded area and the hotel is easy access to the expressway . I'm sure to recommend to friends and coworkers . Pools are well maintained and service is available right from the chaise lounge chairs, all I needed to do was roll over when I was done baking on one side..... Definitely will be back

My family of 5 recently stayed here at Excalibur. Although our view wasn't what we hoped and blocked by a pillar, our room was comfortable, and clean. So much to offer, especially for families. Our kiddos really enjoyed the arcade. Now, The Tournament of Kings dinner show.. My oh MY! That was absolutely our highlight of our vacation! We had such a blast, and will come back just to see that show anytime we're in Vegas. All in all, we really enjoyed staying at the Excalibur and will definitely stay again!!

Excalibur Hotel & Casino is the place to be. The rooms are nice and clean. Lots of gambling to thrill you. They are also the home of the famous Tournament of Kings. You can step back in time and witness the games of the past. On our visit, we found that the ticket booth is not open on Tuesdays and there is no sign stating the days of operation.

We stayed one week. We really enjoyed due to the key location on the Strip. Then you can go walking everywhere. Externally is amazing if you dreamed to be in a Castle, this is the place. The only bad think it is that the rooms are a bit not updated. But totally understandable because the hotel is old. But anyway we enjoyed a lot.

What a pleasant surprise this casino hotel was. Good value for the price and you can smell the nostalgia in the rooms. In a good way. Will be great when the baseball field is across the street. I wouldn't have recommended this place before but after staying here would definitely do it again. Family friendly!

I stayed at the Excalibur for three nights in September 2023. My stay was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone considering this hotel. When on vacation, one expects to be happy and relaxed, but this did not seem to be a priority at the Excalibur. Upon check-in, I inquired about the parking location. The response I received was terse: "there is parking." When I asked again about the specific location, the receptionist simply replied, "it's all around us." At the very least, I would have expected a detailed explanation or a map, considering the size of the facilities. It took me some time to figure out the parking situation at the Excalibur. On a related note, no one informed me of the checkout time. I asked an employee near the entrance elevator, and she replied, "It should be at 11:00," leaving me with uncertainty, which is not a pleasant feeling. I had to look it up, and it turns out the checkout time was indeed 11:00, at least according to Google. This contradicted the information provided by a cleaning lady who knocked on my door at 10:00 AM (despite a "do not disturb" sign) to inquire about my departure time. Speaking of cleanliness, I found two socks in my room that did not belong to me, leading me to assume they were left by a previous guest. The location is nice, and the Hotel in itself is quite good looking. In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing the Excalibur for your vacation destination.

Stay 3 Night in their Resort Tower, All things are good except lack of basic facilities, like Refrigerator, Kettle, Coffee, Bottles Water etc etc. which normally 2 star provide these facilities. The Mistake is mine because I didn't notice that they don't supply kettle and coffee, because every hotel provide these, but for future I will be careful. Overall Large, Neat and clean rooms with good service.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, a long one of the strip. Unfortunately the rooms are very basic which compare to many other Vegas hotels in a similar price category is quite disappointing. Everything at the hotel was Extra, the staff are not particularly friendly and could not even offer us a paper invoice upon leaving The bar staff were very clicky with the local gamblers and regulars were not interested in serving you consistently. The rooms were clean, but very basic. That

We were there from Monday night to Friday morning, definitely check out before 10am if you want to beat the rush. We had a total of 3 rooms for 4 guests and all of them were a similar setup. No bedbugs and everything was clean, all you can really ask for for the price. Well, maybe a small fridge and a coffee maker but I brought my little Keurig 🤫 Housekeeping was friendly too and the front desk was awesome every time I was up there helping friends check in. We went to the Tournament of Kings and it was excellent. Dinner and the show itself were both great. I was with other adults but I think it would be fun for kids who could handle the occasional loud fireworks too. There are solicitors for shows and casino extras (I don't know what they're called) everywhere. We stayed there for 4 nights and they wouldn't leave us alone! Every time we left our room at least a couple different people would try to rope us into buying something. They have them placed in all the high traffic areas throughout the first floor. If we're using the room elevators, obviously we've already paid for a room, resort fees, and probably parking - trying to get more out of us is just annoying 😒
