I have been to my fair share of estate jewelers and stores all over the country. This one is far and away the most impressive! It has the most interesting, the most eclectic, and the best inventory in a most beautifully edited space. And nothing sits stale. I don't know how the owner does it. But she does! And she is very friendly & always there to help. The prices are a bit high, overall. Understandably so. But I just wish there were more of a range in price point. Perhaps bringing in the more unique looking costume jewelry that can be purchased there, as well. There are also sooo many pieces out there in the "estate" realm that are exceptional looking but were done using other materials (like crystal in place of diamonds or colored glass in place of other gems). That would be wonderful!

This antique jewelry store is a treasure! I love going here just to look around. They have a service, for a moderate fee, where they will give you a quick appraisal of your inherited jewelry. Since my mom and her sisters were the "Queens" of costume jewelry, it was fun to find out which pieces they gave me were truly junk, and which were rare gems! Very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Highly recommend. Plus they have beautiful things to sell!

Classic Facets Antique Jewelry or classless customer service? The employee was inept to acknowledge me as a potential customer while I browsed the store for a good 10 minutes waiting for her to finish up with another customer yet she was brash enough to say she wouldn't hire me before exchanging a single word with me. Ironically, after that encounter, I wouldn't hire her. What's worse? I couldn't tell if the employee I met was actually the owner or just a mere employee having a bad day due to the lack of professionalism she exhibited. I recently moved to the area and stopped by this unique establishment just to inquire if they were hiring. I was genuinely excited because the shop had a great selection & I admired their concept of recycling gold and gemstones as a small, local business. I have experience and certifications in the jewelry industry. I was dressed formally and naturally, I was in a very positive mood. There was only one employee in the store when I walked in and she was in the middle of a conversation with a customer so I smiled and browsed the store as I waited respectfully until she was free, as not to interrupt. My significant other came in about 8-10 minutes after me and browsed in another part of the store, and the employee asks HIM first if he needed any help and he answered, "My girlfriend is interested in working here" and nods over to me. I smiled and was making my way across the store to introduce myself when the employee rudely says, "Well if she can't speak up for herself then I don't want to hire her anyways." She then continued to make multiple remarks about me and my "inability to speak up" before I even had a chance to interact with her. I stood my ground and said I was being respectful and wouldn't want to interrupt her conversation with the customers but I was no longer interested in being employed there if it meant working alongside or under someone as presumptuous as her. The business will do just fine, but best of luck to her. I only hope that she will grow and learn NOT to judge or treat anyone else as I was treated that day, customer or not. I was extremely dismayed by how she personally attacked me with just a silly assumption. I felt so embarrassed for this business, for my boyfriend who was only being supportive, and for the customer and his daughter who had no choice but to watch this happen. Most of all, I was embarrassed by how she failed to be the face of Classic Facets Antique Jewelry.

We purchased my engagement ring at Classic Facets and went through them for resizing as well. I couldn’t be happier with our experience. At every step they went above and beyond. Just by chance, this was our first stop when searching for a ring. We were waiting for an appointment across the street and just wasting time. But an employee encouraged us to try some things on anyway - ensuring us there were no expectations. We learned so much from her. She not only taught us about diamonds, but also key words in the industry and the tip to always look in a full length mirror when trying rings on. I didn’t expect to find a ring that day, but we did. No other shopping stops compared in quality of experience or gave us the same dedicated time. They were genuinely excited for us at every step of this process including resizing. I have to mention how above and beyond they went with that experience too. They use a specialist with a laser weld and so the process takes about two weeks. We were hoping to have it for a family trip in exactly two weeks so we could show it off, but it wasn’t quite complete yet. They called the specialist, he resized it that day, and an employee’s husband picked it up - all within a couple hours. This all so we could take it on our trip. We couldn’t be happier with our experience or purchase!

The most beautiful vintage and antique jewelry store you may ever experience! Absolutely beautiful, rare pieces from days gone by. Working with Lainey and Theresa is always a delightful experience! Theresa Peregoy, manager and gemologist, has amazing knowledge of vintage and antique jewelry. A lady with great integrity AND an eye for gorgeous jewelry! Classic Facets is easily my MOST favorite store in Boulder.

Holy cow I live this place. Like many young would-be fiancés , I went here looking for an engagement ring. I’m not a “jewelry guy” but knew I wanted to find something special, interesting, and unique. The staff (and the sweet shop dog) was great and honest. They talked with me for a while, educating and explaining some pros and cons about the whole rigamarole. The end result was a piece that my fiancé loves , and that still turns heads among the jeweler crowd. So, so, so much better than the cookie cutter Shane or Jared etc. I personally dgaf about the jewelry code (numbers metrics grades etc.) even though the talented folks at this shop can play that too. I mostly just wanted something neat from people who cared, and I got it. 10/10.

What a perfect place for us to find our antique wedding ring. A beautiful Art Deco space run by very sweet people with excellent taste. One of my favorite places to see of all the stores of Boulder
