Nice ambience and very good service. The pizza was not bad, but I was expecting a better quality with all the marketing you have around this place. Too oily for my taste, you have much better pizza joints nearby. There's always a line to enter, but the place is huge so you are going to be seated in a few minutes. It's the most famous pizza joint in Buenos Aires, but not the best.

This place is a must. Every friend that got back from Buenos Aires told me - start there. They were all right! Probably the best pizza I ever ate. Still dreaming about getting back there again. Just grab a beer and pizza, and enjoy. The Fuggazeta is delicious as well!

The hype wasn’t there for me. The topping was missing flavour, and the dough was not cooked properly. It was actually very disappointing. Too expensive for what it was.. not recommended. The pizza arrived very quickly and looked good but the taste was not there at all. On the other hand, the guy that served us was polite and friendly.

10/10 must go if you come to Buenos Aires! ATTENTION: there is ALWAYS a line but it goes by quickly and is definitely worth it. That said if you go around 2PM o 6PM there may not be a line. I have been twice, once we stand up and just grabbed a sliced and the second we got a table and ordered a full pizza, both were amazing. Service is also top!

The pizza was very good but not outstanding. We had better pizzas in Buenos Aires. The history value of the place is amazing and you have to look the walls with all the wonderful photos of famous people who ate there.

This is probably the best pizza restaurant in Buenos Aires, if you like Italian-American style pizza. They still put olives and ham on them, but they have real pepperoni and the crust is delicious - crispy and oily! The line is long but they seem to run it fairly well. You'll likely wait outside and inside. It took us about an hour in total to eat. If you want to sit in the fun part, go to the back patio. There you'll see the giant oven, tons of paraphernalia, and the crowd is livelier. Several times the entire restaurant broke out in singing and clapping for birthdays and sometimes just for fun I think. And we went on a Monday! 😄

(Translated by Google) Experience 5/5. Food. 5/5. Environment 5/5. Table service 5/5. Moderate price. The famous pizzeria guerrin, located on av. Currents. Without a doubt the best pizzeria in the world. On this occasion I could notice that they expanded the premises on the ground floor at the back. At one point I did not understand where the girl had sent us, until after walking 20 meters down a corridor full of paintings, we found another room with a more rustic setting but maintaining the essence of the place. It is highly recommended to go through this place at least on the go to delight yourself with a slice of the pizza that you like the most, it also has its sector of to the step or to the cut as each one prefers. (Original) Experiencia 5/5. Comida. 5/5. Ambiente 5/5. Servicio a la mesa 5/5. Precio moderado.

OMGoodness. This place is divine!! Worth every bit of all the good things you have heard. MUST eat Argentine pizza in Buenos Aires here! Get a table and dine in to experience the full adventure of it all. There will be a line out the door when you arrive (no matter what time), but you can bypass that and tell them you want to dine in either on ground level in front, the salon in the back, or the first floor. Most importantly in Argentina, patience is a must. You will ask for something, or wait to be seated/get menus/be greeted, but it’s totally worth it. The servers here are beasts! Moving so quickly, carrying large heavy tubs of dishes, bags of flour, and multiple pizzas without a misstep. A well-oiled machine. The portions are huge and very inexpensive. Everything was delicious and amazing. What an experience!!

I love the place. I was looking for the food experience in Buenos Aires and I found it. This is the place you make a line to get in and order one slice of pizza and enjoy it standing at the counter. Totally an experience you must have when visiting the city. The pizza is too greasy for me. For a once in a lifetime experience it’s cool tho.

Great pizza with plenty of cheese and strong flavors, although it may not be suitable for those who prefer their pizza milder due to the generous amount of oil. It appears that the establishment is highly professional and knowledgeable about their craft. There may be a slight wait for both a table and your pizza, but this is likely due to the consistently high demand. The waitstaff is friendly, and the cleanliness of the place is evident.

Excelente.

A big, three story pizzería! Don't be put off by the lines at the front of the store as there is plenty of space. Extensive menu. All three pizzas we had were delicious. We had chocolate mousse and empanadas to takeaway also. Chocolate mousse was FAB!

This restaurant is an absolute must visit when you're in Buenos Aires. Having been open for more than 90 years, it's a historic spot serving fantastic pizza. Here, you can stand and eat a slice quickly at the front of the restaurant or grab a table to enjoy a normal sit-down meal. We had the pepperoni pizza and enjoyed it.

Man the pizza here is as good as everyone says it is. Usually places like these are mainly targeted towards tourists but locals and visitors alike raves about the pizza here and it's well deserved. Prices are completely reasonable and the pizza done the Argentinian way is tops. The cheese....wow. I only wish we were able to visit again and try something different. Portions are large and meant to be shared so you'd need multiple visits to get through the menu.

Absolutely awesome Argentinian pizzeria, I completely recommend it. It was the first Argentinian pizza I had in my trip and I am at 100% sure it was the best. The place is very very be having very different environments and atmospheres I was sent to the presidential room, which seem to be the most calm and quiet one as you also have some atmospheres having a more typical restaurant environment. I recommend the Roquefort Cheese , bell pepper (morron) add mushroom pizza.

What a huge disappointment.. Truly that is all I can say.. This is apparent an iconic pizza restaurant in BA?? The service..or to be exact.. the lack thereof makes McDonald's appear Michellin star quality.. The lack of interest and attitude of the waiter was astounding.. not just towards me..I was treated well in comparison to others.. The time taken to order and receive a pizza was in excess of 2 hours..well I suppose the attitude was at least free..!!@ There are far better pizzas and service to be had in BA.. Do yourself a favour..avoid this place

Amazing experience, great value for money. The pizza servings are absolutely huge! My girlfriend and I are usually pretty big pizza eaters and we really struggled with sharing 1 large pizza. The tiramisu was also massive. I'd recommend going, it was probably the biggest restaurant I've ever been in to.

This place is quite the experience! The front of the store is this takeaway pizza and standing are. For dine in your go to the back where it’s really nicely decorated. Pretty friendly staff, we were forgotten about so we had to go ask for help a few times. Not a big deal. Bathrooms were okay, not the cleanest but they just had a huge rush and the spaces there for a lot of people. Pizza was good, I enjoyed the food. Recommend coming with more people so you can try different pizzas and share. They aren’t shy with using cheese that’s for sure.

The menus features a variety of pizzas and empanada varieties. The pizzas are large enough to share as a group. We ordered one plain and one pepperoni pizza. I also ordered a side of beef empanadas (they offer baked and fried variety, 100 points!). Food arrived in a timely manner was soooo delicious. The pizza is thick with a fluffy crust, topped with a delicious tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheesiness. I felt like I was in pizza heaven. And, among all the empanadas I had in Buenos Aires, I think I had the best at Pizzería Güerrín. I ordered the fried variety and it was tasty, almost like a Puerto Rican Pastellitos. Really, really good! Service was great, attentive, and very kind. Everyone smiled and welcomed us warmly. However, many of them do not speak English, so be patient and use a translator or app if possible. Overall, I'd highly recommend visiting. Definitely worth a trip if you are an avid pizza eater.

An old famous pizza eatery with stand-up eating counters and also a sit down restaurant at back. The pizza is very different than the thin and crispy ones I had in New York, but it’s truly phenomenal! The dough is thicker with lots of cheese on top. I had tried a traditional Argentinian recipe: onion, ham and cheese. Of course, don’t forget to drizzle some oregano on top when you eat it. They also serve empanadas which are freshly made in front of you.

One of the best pizzerias in the world I've been to! Mauricio took us around the pizzeria and told us secrets from the kitchen. That night there were 1000 customers in the restaurant and there is a reason! The pizza melts in your mouth! Five halls, the one I liked the most were the paintings of Sofia Loren on the walls.

Güerrin is wonderfully located where all the theaters are. Catch a show, then head on over! I was shocked when they led us through the back down a long hall way into a huge open warehouse looking restaurant. I was not expecting the classic pizza place to be so nostalgic. It almost feels like a secret you’ve been let in on. Definitely ask to sit back here! I have all this to say and haven’t even talked about the pizza. Can you come to Argentina and not try the Fugazetta? No. You cannot. It was stuffed with cheese. Do I need to say more? It was delicious. Definitely plan to go back this week!

We were pleasantly surprised! The pizza was delicious, perfect for a little snack! You can dine inside with table service, or order at the counter and eat your slice standing at the bars. Plenty of flavors to chose from and relatively cheap. Definitely worth a quick visit if visiting Buenos Aires!

The pizza is better than your typical Pizza Hut but that doesn't mean much coming from me. But if you like this kind of pizza you might enjoy Güerrín. I have to admit the toppings are original and not bad. The place itself is worth a visit. Overall I had a good time here. 4 slices and 3 beers: 15 dollars.

Really delicious pizza and empanadas. It’s a busy place and very popular but we got right in without reservations for a late lunch. They offer a lot of seating. Service was a little slow but the pizza came out fast. Definitely worth a visit when in Buenos Aires!

Really tasty and different pizza than I was used to. We took a simple margherita and we really liked it. The cheese is very tasty. The place is a bit chaotic for my taste, but overall it was a nice experience (being considered one of the best pizza places in Argentina). In case you cannot finish the pizza you can have the remaining take away.

You gotta try this place if you're in Buenos Aires! Not only was the pizza great, but the atmosphere is also amazing. It's a very big place, I recommend eating at the back (gotta go thru a long hallway) where you can see live cooking! Amazing experience and great tasting pizza.

Tried this pizza place at the heart of Buenos Aires, quite a classic pizza place. Pizza is good if you like thick doughy crust; they add lots of cheese make it really tasty! The two seafood pizza we got were really good. Empanada is a must try. Overall, was a bit pricy but good quality. Service is a bit slow.

The atmosphere was good. The pizza was just okay for me (however they have been doing it for 90 years), but to each is their own. The was downright horrible. They were rude and inattentive.

Not queue inside the non stop 90 years oven. But they were very nice to invite me to go inside and take a video. So only have one portion ( they don't call it slice but by portion instead). They provide chilli sauce as well which is very unusual in BA. Taste yummy.

One of the best pizza I’ve had. The place is massive and yet super crowded. I really wondered how the kitchen made so many pizzas at once. Must try if you are in Buenos Aires. They also have good empanadas.

Pizzeria Guerrín is a local gem and a must visit for pizza enthusiasts. A unique aspect is it’s commitment to preserve the traditional flavors with a charming ambiance. Note that they operates on a cash or debit card basis only. If you’re seeking an authentic taste of Buenos Aires’ pizza culture, this pizzeria should be at the top of your list.

I went to Guerrin after every Argentinian friend told me I could miss it and they were right. This was a very interesting pizza and I can see it’s a very traditional place. A lot of tourists but also Argentinians dining here. It was a good price for the size go the pizza. The only problem is that service doesn’t have a lot of patience with tourists and don’t help a lot. Overall nice place

This pizzeria seems to be an iconic place as it exists since 1932. The pizza is different from the ones in Italy I dare to assume. Over the dough is some ham and then a thick creamy layer of cheese. We had just one slice of it and we liked it. 🍕

Pizzeria Gierrin Review Nonmember 2023 It is a very Interesting place to visit. They have seats inside and outside. At the entrance, you can order pizzas by slices without being seated at the table. You can take it away or eat it at the entrance at the stand tables. They have a vast selection of pizzas. They also have about five non-vegetarian styles of empanadas. All pizzas are the same style - a very thick dove with a lot of cheese and different toppings. You can't select thin-crust. Because it has a lot of cheese, it is slightly greasy. So, if you like thin crust or not greasy pizzas, this place is not for you. The service is very quick! It took 20 minutes from the moment we ordered to the moment we got the pizza. You can order one pizza, half of one style, and the other half a different style. The restaurant has menus in Spanish and English. They also have about five types of vegan pizzas.

One of the old-time, traditional pizza restaurants. Can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas. Went with a large group and ordered several pizzas. Depending on how hungry you are, one pizza is good for 2-3 people. We try to visit, every time we go to Buenos Aires. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! Amazing pizza! You feel transported to another era. The place is so packed! It’s crazy. If you need a table you will have to order full pizzas (small and large) But you can order by the slice in the first floor right by the entrance. And that’s a very cool experience. Also ordering a full pizza is relatively quick - we order 5 different pizzas plus faina (ask for it, it’s the classic experience) You should definitely try this pizzeria

Do not waste your time visiting this chaotic and bad restaurant! When we got the check, we noticed that it was inaccurate. Three items that we had NOT ordered had been added. The waiter had not taken the time to verify the charges before he delivered the check to us. When we complained, two items were removed, the third one was still on the check! No apologies were offered. Merely a comment to deduct it from the total. Food – 2 The pizza at ‘El Cuartito’ is so much better! The dough was soggy and the taste bland. Service – 2 The waiters are overworked. Our waiter had to be reminded of our orders and still forgot to deliver some of our asks. Ambiance – 1 The place was crowded and ridiculously noisy. You could barely hear the person sitting on the opposite side of the table. Value – 4 Inexpensive but bad!

If you want to experience Argentinian Pizza this is the place! It was so busy, great atmosphere. The staff super kind and friendly. It was a little intimidating how busy it was but they looked after us very well. The Roman pizza was our favourite, we had the picante which was square and delicious! The bacon was good too!

Don’t miss it. Fantastic Argentine pizza - has both the classics that are unique to Argentina as well as their own “deep dish” style pizza. The Fuggazetta is extremely rich and very cheesy/oniony, so just beware that you might only be able to eat a slice of that one. Their other pizzas are incredible.

One of the worst pizzas I have had and terrible service to boot. The pizza was flavorless - likely because they used the cheapest ingredients. It was also super greasy (picture doesn't do it justice). To make matters worse, the server grabbed our money, wrongly assumed there was no tip included without even counting the money, and started to complain fairly loudly that we didn't tip him when we actually did tip him. Why not count the money before embarrassing your diners? Just a terrible experience all around and recommend that no one frequent this establishment.

One of the best pizzas I have ever had. The crust was light and full of flavor. The tomato sauce was fantastic and full of garlic. I ordered the pizza with ham and mushrooms and they were very generous with the toppings. I ordered a small pizza and had some left to take with me. Don’t go in with high expectations. It’s good pizza - nothing more. Cool atmosphere. Take out style up front with a larger dining area in the back. Overall cool ambiance. Service was super slow, and it wasn’t even full. Can’t imagine how it’d be with a line out the door. They also don’t customize, which was odd. Just had a Roman pepperoni pizza. Pepperoni was great, good, simple pizza overall.

❗The best pizza 🍕 I have never eaten! ❌ The only bad about this place is that the inner part was full of people and you can listen then very loud, because there is no music. I suggest a little smooth music!

Worth a visit but be prepared for a chaotic wait. Ambience/Location: 4/5 It's traditional yet has areas that are historic and other areas more familial. It's HUGE with capacity to sit a lot of people. I Service: 3/5 The wait to get inside was quick, even with the extremely long line. Didn't like that they tell you 15-20mins but then there is a separate wait and line inside. Some areas have longer waits than others so people long after us got seated before, which was upsetting. Our waiter was quick but very unfriendly. Pizza came out quickly dispite how packed it was. Food: 5/5 Pizza was excellent. The Flan was divine Price: 5/5 Great price for the size and quality Overall, worth a visit but expect a long wait and service that's not the best.

👍 The food is amazing, we had the empada and the fugazetta. It was incredible and with a lot of cheese - if you don't like it or are intolerant, we don't recommend it. The only observation I would make is the care of the dishes, leaving the cutlery inside plastic bags to show that it is clean.

👍👍 This was my favourite place to eat in Buenos Aires. I love the idea of an open space with tons of food and drink options. The food is amazing, of high quality, and very, very fairly priced. I love the atmosphere. I love the umbrellas on the ceiling, the art, and neon lights, all of it. The music is...
