As
a
tea
place,
it's
not
bad.
I
was
visiting
from
out
of
town
and
decided
to
check
this
place
out
because
I
saw
that
it
looks
like
they
have
real
teas
(not
just
generic
"green
tea,"
"black
tea,"
etc.).
As
you
can
see
from
the
menu
pictures,
they
do
have
a
large
selection
of
teas!
So
I
came
in
the
afternoon
and
got
a
drink
to
go
to
sip
on
while
I
walked
around
Dupont
Circle
--
a
classic
Dragonwell
(Longjing)
green
tea.
They
gave
me
a
to-go
cup
with
the
tea
leaves
in
a
sachet
(pictured)
and
you
can
see
it's
whole
leaves
(and
if
you're
familiar,
is
definitely
longjing).
No
problem,
I
can
measure
the
steeping
time
myself,
and
you
might
even
consider
it
a
win
because
you
can
re-steep
the
leaves
later
if
you
want
(I
tried
the
next
day
but
it
wasn't
good
anymore).
One
thing
that
puts
me
off
is
that
this
place
doesn't
brew
tea
in
the
traditional
gongfu
manner.
You
don't
see
the
traditional
brew
teaware
like
gaiwans
or
Yixing
teapots
and
I
think
that
affects
the
tea's
taste
unfortunately.
Granted,
I
didn't
sit
down
and
drink,
so
maybe
the
experience
is
different
from
a
teapot.
Anyway,
I
waver
between
3-4
stars,
but
I
lean
to
a
4
just
because
I
think
places
with
real
tea
should
be
visited
over
places
like
Starbucks
or
milk
tea
shops
(for
the
tea
specifically).
