Very quaint little place. Good location on Tamborine. Walking distance to Long St where all the shops and dining is. The pool is a little outdated and in need of a bit of TLC, and the spa is not heated. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are quaint and spacious. Basic kitchenette but no microwave. Restaurant on site only operated select days.

Booked the room and the cocktail class approximately 2 month in advance for our anniversary all paid in full. It was a surprise for my fiancé however they canceled the cocktail class just hours before arriving. They said they will refund the money $89ea. and we’re speaking to eventbrite about the refund. I have spoken to them on the day and then when we left and have an email from them stating they canceled the cocktail class. I have now sent three emails chasing them up and they are ghosting me. This place is a joke. Take your money cancel just hours before we got there and don’t give your money back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS OTHERWISE OT WILL COST YOU

Was extremely disappointed with the service and customer concern Rang the day we were going to check that everything was fine on mountain to be told everything was up and operational only to turn up and it was completely opposite Would never have gone if we were informed how bad it was on the mountain Everything was closed except good old St Bernard's hotel These people only care about almighty dollar and couldn't care about their customers Place is in such disrepair with horrible mouldy smell and rubbish heaps and broken down old cars spoiling the view Balconys rusted and even Reo poking out of the concrete on balconys Place needs a complete overhaul and fumigation as cockroaches in our room Cracks in walls ,paint peeling from ceiling, tv didn't work most of time etc etc Water stopped working and when they got it going again was dirty and smelly Basically trapped in room eating cold food from IGA with nothing to even heat our food and had to buy water so we could have a coffee and brush our teeth All in all was a horrible stay and would never go back again We go up the mountain several times a year and stay at different places and for the first time I have to say this is not one I have anything good to say Emily Franklin would be devastated to see what current owners have let this place become Wish I could post pictures to this review so people can see what it's really like

Had dinner here with friends recently. Food was really good and at reasonable prices but the real highlight was the staff - so friendly!

Quaint little place, bit tired and rooms are very simple but has a bit of old school charm about it and the restaurant does a great breakfast

I was very sceptical at first, the reception and restaurant are closed Mon, Tues, Wed. I ended up falling in love with this place and will definitely be back. I was disappointed to not get to eat in the restaurant, but I wasn't staying long enough. Next time!

The grounds are quite beautiful and the staff are quite friendly, but it's obvious that there's a lack of care. There was peeling paint in the bathroom, cracked tiles and bulging tiles as well. There's also lots of cobwebs everywhere (especially the rafters), inconsistent/clashing colour paint jobs and while the theme is kind of Victorian, there's a massive eye sore of a modern painting in the first room when you enter the accomodation part of The Manor. If you're not fussy, then it's an okay place to stay at, but if you like everything consistent, well maintained and hate terrible paint jobs, then I suggest avoiding The Manor. Not to mention that while the food quality and quantity is quite nice, the menu options are very limited, especially the evening meal menu.

Waited over an hour for 2 main meals prawns and bugs with people being served before us and had arrived after us the wait staff were very rude to my partner with every excuse apart from the truth that we had been forgotten about she was an older women who has no place in that role-position. As for the accommodation it is as the pictures show it was very clean and tidy very comfortable with stunning old charm ✨️

We booked the room at the last minute and the process was quite straightforward. The room was upper middle class 80s with a lot of space in it. Bed was comfortable. It would be a nice place to stay for a few days. I wish I had had a slice of their chocolate cake they had in the reception as it looked super delicious!

Loved our stay here. We weren't sure what to expect. The room we had was really large and very clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which was pretty good. Amazing service...friendly and fast! Location is great..1 min walk to town.

We went with the extended family on the 4th of Feb. This is a beautifully presented restaurant with stunning view and friendly patient staff. We ordered a variety of breakfasts and got a real mixed bag of quality and value. Personally I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict, it was very disappointing. It was a small serving, over cooked eggs, barely warm, tinned asparagus (I think), a token drizzle of hollandaise and served on english muffin not nice bread. Another in the party had the same as was equally disappointed. Of the 8 breakfasts, 3 were disappointing, 3 were ok and 2 were good. Even though it was quiet, it took over 1/2 an hour to get our meals and while I am sure they were trying to get all meals ready to serve at the same time it was obvious what was cooked first and sat in the warmer. I will add that the prices for food were quite reasonable, but that was reflected in it its quality. Location = 3 star Ambiance = 2.5 star Staff = 3 star Service = 2.5 star Food = 1 star

Went in for lunch on a Friday, great service and price of meals is excellent, 2 large roasts, a bottle of wine, massive slice of lemon meringue with ice cream and a coffee. $90. Will definitely go back.

Lovely historical cafe and motel. I tried their breakfast option and it was well priced. The interior gives nice cosy vibes especially in cooler months. Service could have been quicker. We had to wait 50 minutes for our order to come. Apparently there was a large group dropping in. We didn’t mind but some might. Good value and classic ambiance. Will definitely visit again.

Just a hotel room with minimal amenities. Ye olde charm. Restaurant and bar closed on our stay over Easter. Didn’t get a very good nights sleep on the first night as other guests were very noisy, but wouldn’t be like this all the time I’m sure. Owner was friendly on arrival and showed us to our room personally. Don’t use the balcony as wasn’t very private and didn’t want to disturb other residents. Very central to gallery walk and a walkable distance to eagle heights shops.

We had lunch here, beautiful roast lamb and a vegetarian frittata with chips. Tasty food at a affordable price! We loved all the painting, it felt like an art gallery with so much to look at. We will definitely be back!

Sunday Breakfast was a delicious fabulous helping of Poached eggs on toast, hash browns , mushrooms, bacon,, small sausages and delicious grilled tomato….all cooked to perfection and flavour combined. Large Flat White Coffee. Delightful. My seating was in a wide booth perfect for my private business attention, The Manor is a beautiful Colonial building as to accommodating happy friendly staff - thank you sincerely. priced @ $22.00 a bargain.

Went to Mount Tamborine for a day out and stumbled across The Manor for lunch. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We all really enjoyed our meals which were excellent value. Children enjoyed running around on the grass area and playground. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely experience that didn't break the bank for a large family.
