Not really a place I want to come back. Husband and I happened to go on one of their busiest days so it was super crowded, super loud and service wasn’t available as often. But they did work fast to seat everyone down and be fair to their guests. Besides that the food looked and tasted so good but everything was so spicy I couldn’t eat anything. I loved the huge bread though, that was good. And the stuffed vegetables were good (again… spicy) But I would’ve given better review had the food not been crazy spicy.

Incredible food, amazing atmosphere. As good as it gets for Egyptian food. We ordered almost 30 pounds of meat and plenty of other food. The total was about 300USD for 13 people. 10 pounds was enough. Great for large parties. Would highly recommend the kufta covered in beef fat.

It was crowded as hell very noisy and waiters give us no attention when we arrived so we found a place by Ourselves, the staff doesn't work silently but opposite they make the noise by themselves and they aren't professionals at all when they deal with guests and they brought us wrong order but I ate anyway just because I wanted to leave and we asked for the cash machine to pay by card the waiter said okay but he didn't came back so we paid in cash, anyway the food was good but not the best so I doubt that I'll go there again.

Sure it was crowded, noisy, chaotic but their perfectly seasoned kebabs were divine, the liver was the best I’ve had in Cairo so far. While the experience at the restaurant was satisfactory, it leaned towards the average side. Overall, it was an average dining experience that provided a taste of Egyptian cuisine without any outstanding highlights. Parking is a hassle though and Google Maps aren’t really to rely on. It is a must visit for new comers to experience the closest you can get to an Egyptian McDonald’s.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while in Cairo and searching for restaurants that weren’t catered to tourists. While I could pass for Egyptian( that’s what locals thought I was), my husband very much sticks out as a Dutch heritage man. When we walked in, people looked a bit shocked because we were the only tourists. Our first time there, we went for dinner. The sweet Arabic family sitting next to us saw that we were working through the menu so they were so gracious and welcomed us to their table, let us try their food and helped us order as well. The wait staff was also amazing and so helpful. We ordered way more than we should’ve because everything looked so good. We got the Chicken Tikka, kofta and kebab. We also had the stuffed pigeon, okra tajin and a cow organ dish(I cannot recall the name). All the entrees also come with appetizers which include spreads, salad and fresh bread. Also highly recommend the green soup! It was such a lively and fun spot, everyone was having a good time. They were playing Arabic music and some of the wait staff was dancing and moving about. I almost didn’t want to post this review because I didn’t want to give the secret away if the locals wanted to have a place away from tourist but it’s so so good that I feel I have to at least for the business owners to know what a fantastic establishment they have.
