    My Nonverbal Autistic daughter has been waiting for a referral since the 25th May for a reoccurring hernia to be referred back to GOSH to see her previous surgeon and nothing has been done. The receptionist is so rude that she thinks that it’s acceptable to hang up on me when I’m explaining to her the urgency of the situation! That my daughter is suffering with this it pops out when she sneezes coughs gets too excited or goes to the toilet and the receptionist thinks it’s okay to ask me ‘are you done’ when I’m getting emotional and trying to advocate for my child she flips when I ask to speak to a manager. Disgusting behaviour from their administration/reception staff. I can not believe that this is acceptable behaviour in any capacity.

    Reception staff are the most arrogant and rude people I know they don't listen to what you have to say and they hang up on you. Can never get an appointment with the gp. Some of the Doctors that have been there for years are really good and on the ball they know what they are doing.

    I understand that the NHS is under pressure but I can’t explain how terrible this place is. Been here for years… The receptionists do what they need to do and seem nice but, you are better off calling 111 because although you might get seen, doctors don’t take you seriously. They don’t bother doing all the essential check ups (blood pressure, heart rate, breathing checks) after asking what’s specifically wrong with you and then they wait for your sickness to get worse before you have to book ANOTHER appointment in which they might be “closed” even though they said they will be open. I’m so sorry but i can’t stand it. You’re definitely better off calling 111 or changing GPS :(

    One of the worst GP I have seen ever. You will have to follow up 3/4 times for your test result when the report is ready and with a Doctor. They will not get back to you unless you keep them calling. You will be hardly able to book an appointment on the online. If you call at morning they will tell you to call at afternoon. If you call afternoon they will tell you to call another day. It’s just sarcastic.

    The worst surgery ever where the reception staff and management have no heart or show any empathy towards peoples feelings and what they are going through. People don’t contact the doctors for no reason. It’s because they are in need of help. If I could zero stars I would. But does not give me the option.

    Reception staff are so RUDE & ARROGANT..... They do not listen and talk to you like you have no value. Staff member called Mazae (not sure of the correct spelling) has the worse attitude and cannot see how someone like that can work for a GP reception. After speaking with her, made my anxiety so bad, left me in a bad place for the rest of the day. I work in a clinical setting and would never patronise patients telling them "well done" , "good for you" when I was correcting an error that stated on line.... Disgusting service, do not join this GP You can also never get an appointment even if its beyond serious.

    I never visit GP surgery but I fall sick and call my registered GP ilford medical center, firstly I waited for 4 hours to get a call back and when I got the call back from the receptionist, she phone me just to inform that I should call next day because GP is not available, now my question is why a GP surgery is there if a patient needs to wait for next day?? And when I start requesting her that I am not well and I really needs to be treated so please arrange something, she just simply hung up on me!! I wonder why NHS is over burden, these GP surgeries neglect/reject their registered patients resulting people rushing towards emergencies and hospitals to get treated because they get hung up by Local GP surgeries. Amazing isn’t it.

    Receptionists are not helpful. If you get the male receptionist then consider yourself lucky. Prescription orders do not take 48 hours. I had to wait 10 days for mine! Gp are great. Reception... learn sympathy and manors. People do not call the gp for a general convo. We call because we are unwell and need help. Not to be told "no follow the rules, I will not help". Receptionists are known to be dragons because of the staff like those at the ilford medical centre. Grow hearts please.

    The new calling system is incredibly incompetent and not senior-friendly at all. How are the patients supposed to get an emergency appointment in the morning when they have to go through a ridiculous selection process whereby, if you choose 0 to receive a callback, the call simply stops and you have to call back again? So hard to reach an advisor on the phone. Honestly, the practice manager or your partners should have a look into this as this is just so ridiculous. It looks like no one at this surgery is truly doing anything about the countless complaints that have been made about the receptionist.

    Unprofessional staff and doctors. They never call you back. They don't care if it's for an adult or a baby. My baby has a skin allergy and they referred her to an Optician, even though we told them that it's not her eyes it's her skin which is in bad condition and getting worse. The optician on the other hand checked her, told us to wait for a WHOLE month, and then said that it's not her eyes, it's her skin that needs a Dermatologist. In the meantime, her skin allergy got worse and we requested Ilford medical center to refer her to the Dermatologist. It's been 4-5 days still no call, no contact. No wonder why they have a 1.4-star rating. You can imagine how professional they are. I wish I could give them a half-star.

    This place literally needs shutting down! By far worst service and worst staff ever come across! My mrs was in a bad way waiting for a phone appointment then they rang her and told her to come down for a physical appointment. This was half hour before the appointment we got in the car went down there was ten mins late as we had to stop a few times so she could throw up. To get then told no you missed you appointment. Call up and make a new one. To be then told there no appointments left have to do a phone appointment like we was going to in the first place. Honestly so useless! I don’t advise anyone to use this disgusting service! I’m outraged

    One of the worst places, if you are in need of help better go to the hospital because they will NEVER sort out your problem, if I need an appointment that was advised by a doctor in the hospital, why can’t I get the appointment face to face? Then when I call you at 2 why can’t you help with this? Why do I need to get a call back from the doctor? You said this yesterday as well, never got a call. Absolute worst gp, worst receptionists in this country.

    Only gave 1 star because zero wasn’t an option I have been trying to get a sick note for months now this surgery is a joke no one gets back to you, the staff are rude, ignorant, lazy the surgery is dirty and stinks. And recently filled in an online consultation and without even seeing me, or speaking to me the doctor prescribed random medication and sent it to my chemist not even remotely for my condition. This surgery should be shut down it’s an absolutely pathetic

    I have been to the nurse twice now for a dressing change. I absolutely love the nurse there. She is extremely kind, friendly and caring. She always has a smile on her face and fears are removed when you talk to her. All nurses should be like this.

    GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR MEDICAL SUPPORT!!! If there was a way to give less stars I would. These guys are liers and negligible in their care of patients. They should be shut down for malpractice.

    This place has to be the absolute worst. Never any appointments despite them being online appointments now anyway. You call and get to position one in queue, only to be cut off. You have to hope that IF you do get an appointment that it is with a permanent member of staff that you are familiar with not to mention the rude reception staff. 25 years of the same issues. They just need to get rid of it and start again.

    Ok this is based on my most recent contact. I did an online econsult via the medical centre website, within a day reception had called to arrange a doctor's face to face next day. Dr Hussain was top draw, great to understand your issues, put together a clear action plan. The econsult worked great if you can't do it get someone to do it for you. Ps reception were great they helped with linking my records to the econsult ap and even security were polite and helpful.

    Recently, I had a medical appointment with Dr. Hussain. My experience was great, as she was thorough and ensured that I received the right care and assistance. Dr. Hussain was approachable and friendly, which made me want to schedule future appointments with her. In general, I had a positive experience with the practice. The appointment was prompt and the staff involved were professional. I was particularly impressed with Dr. Hussain, who provided exceptional service. I am grateful for the quality of care I received and would like to thank everyone involved.

    This is the worst GP practice ever. The receptionists are all so rude and unprofessional the lady just called me a dude.. I can’t give you an appointment? I have filled online consultation form twice and all they have to offer is an out of hours appointment?? I work as a GP receptionist myself and this is not how it works. She said that and hung up!!! I can’t even believe she did that. I didn’t even want same day appointment because it was about a cyst on my neck. But she’s like I offered you an appointment you denied I can’t help you more??? So disrespectful

    Ilford medical centre is awful. The lead Dr was treating me and my sugar control was bad. He had given the wrong medication and since going to Loxford clinic I am now taking the right medication. what a relief! My last sugar is now normal after 2 years of high readings. I think all diabetic patients should avoid this surgery.The lead Dr told me to stop eating pakoras . What a joke! I could never get an appointment .The phones are never answered.The NHS should speak to the lead Dr. He talks about how great he is but could not treat me properly. He needs to listen.He kept on telling me he is the best GP in ilford.

    I have been there recently for an appointment. I have waited over an hour for a visit but ended up getting a 5 minute visit. The doctor ended up writing my medicine in a torn up piece of paper. Don’t they have a clean sheet to write medicine in?

    Today I had an appointment at Ilford medical Centre for travel vaccination. I would like to express my exceptionally amazing experience. The practice nurse, probably Regarding vaccination and it protection. She possess Amazing, communication skills, probably miss Nasreen Served us.     Ilford medical centre Vrey bade Service. More then 30 minutes didn’t pick up call. Luckily if Anwar tha call They well give you phone appointment. After few hours they well call you aske some common questions then says go chemist or boost tell them your's reasons buy some medicine your's Self.

    The worst surgery in history, no wonder there is only 1 star given the reception staff ar soooo incompetent. This surgery needs to shut down. Mafe a request for a blood test for my gran gave my number only to be told a week earlier it was sent to another despite me calling on Monday and not having been told by the receptionist.     BEST GP EVEEER. Came in and and was greeted by a staff member who ignored my needs and talked about her cheating husband who left her and her 2 kids, I would've felt bad for her if it wasn't for the fact I just had a heart attack and needed help. I fainted shortly after to wake up and see her cheating husband giving me mouth to mouth, safe to say it didn't end well. Defiantly visit if you want to die.

    I am writing this review because this GP's staff(receptionist staff) is very rude and irresponsible, I have been suffering from my Neck and back pain since August I contacted to GP and after 2hrs waiting on automated call I got an appointment and the doctor seen me, doctor referred me to the Hospital and I got a latter saying that you will be contacted before 19th Oct 2022, I have been waiting for call but they never call me. I contacted to the referred hospital and they said if the pain is urgent and it is emergency please check with GP and ask them to send an email about your problem severity, I immediately went to GP and asked them to send the mail to the hospital, they took my request on paper and said they will send the mail to the hospital but as usual GP didn't sent any mail to the hospital(When I again contacted to hospital then I got to know), again I went to GP to ask them if they missed please send mail to hospital but no use they took again detail and not sent to hospital. Now I am in the situation that I got anxiety, because of this Neck pain I can't able to sleep properly, I called "out of hour 111 emergency service" they said contact to GP they will start immediate mediation but when I went to book an appointment they said we can't book appointment for today you need to wait for a week. Can you imagine how could these staff tell in this anxiety situation where I am not getting proper sleep hardly getting 1 or 2 hrs in whole day. In Ilford medical GP, I never got proper treatment not for me nor my wife. Very very disappointed with the service they are providing always they are taking note on paper and may be throwing into the dustbin. Worst GP in Ilford. I don't know the authority checking this review or not but if not please review and cancel the licence. I am selecting 1 start which is not actually correct this GP not even 1 start like.

    Hi my wife had a earache from the last 6 months I called the go several times then they gave me wrong medication for earache and my wife get worst because of that then I called everyday to them they always said that they don’t have a appointments ,Receptionist are not good basically they don’t care about patients can I complain about them anywhere????     15 years of coming to this practice never have I received the treatment and follow ups I have received in the past few months that Dr Kahlon has given me honestly the best GP I have come across in a really long time gets to the bottom of problems rather then second guessing them and carries out all relevant checks even if they require effort, Dr Kahlon should honestly be given an award of some sort genuinely one of the best Doctors I have come across. 👍👍

    I visited Ilford Medical Centre and received treatment from Dr. Rubl Rehman. I found Dr. Rehman to be highly professional and knowledgeable. The level of care and attention I received was excellent, and I would highly recommend their services at Ilford Medical Centre.

    Reception staff are not doing there jobs, No communication between staff members, worse GP practice I've come across, my 77 years old mother was finally seen face to face last week after 2 and half years of suffering in pain ,is been 7 days and her prescription still not ready, I called them twice each time deffrent staff members tells me deffrent stroy about why my mother's prescription not ready, If this was one of their family members will they accept this,.No empathy at all!!!!.

    Ok this is my personal expereince so may not reflect all. I really cant fault the place. I have a medical concern that was taken very seriously and the reponse has been very swift with a good understanding of how to access health authority services. Dr dealing with me has been great doing things over the phone as im in work most days. My service now moves onto the greater health authority now so lets see. But as a gateway and process just first class. I never go dr and did not know what to expect but to be honest could not wish for better

    "0" function in the new caller system doesn't work properly. Receptionist tries there best to give you an ONLINE appointment rather a Physical (Even needed to be seen the doctor). We do understand the workload on the GP but we also know what should be seen by the doctor. Pror Management practice needs to be adopted in order to improve the efficiency.
