Awesome place. Very clean, polite people, beautiful places to take pictures and you can also see some fishes. A calm place even in July. A fair price to pay once they maintain a huge amount of plants and animals. Two places with bathrooms. You can take your children and explore the garden.

For a small entry fee, one can enjoy the beautiful gardens with a small island in the center, beautiful flowers, manicured trees, a small exhibit, and plenty of good vibes. There is also a teahouse and an outdoor cafe and one can spend 30 minutes to an hour enjoying the gardens!

Entry is 420 peso. It's quite small, there's not that much to see and even less to do, but it's quite nice and relaxing. It's more like pseudo-japanese garden comparing to other ones like e.g. in San Francisco. Try to come when ppl are not here, definitely not on the weekend. I was hoping the shops would sell something japanese like matcha stuff but it's all just normal kiosk apart from the restaurant which seems very expensive. The "exhibition" on japanese products in the main building is laughable.

This park is so cool. It’s not too big but it is very charming. We walked around and had some coffee and hot chocolate. There’s a nice restaurant as well and some shops with Japanese items. When we visited it was winter and the cherry trees were not in bloom but it was still a great visit with beautiful views. My kids enjoyed walking around this park and it’s a must if you’re visiting the city. (The flowers we’re holding were found on the ground)

Wow ! what a lovely place to visit, really pretty and well laid out. Spent about an hour walking around the gardens, very busy but still very enjoyable. Nice places to stop, relax and have a drink and or a snack etc. Souvenir shop was interesting. Clean toilets.

A wonderful, beautiful, peaceful and inspiring little world, brought by Japan, Argentina and the amazing power of nature. With 1500 pesos (not more than 2USD in 2023) you can enter an explore this huge garden, getting to see a nice pond with fish, bridges, statues, signs with nice explanations, a library, monuments, gift shops, kiosks, etc. The staff is nice - they take care of the garden and they watch what people do and how they are treating the space. No matter if you are tourist or local, you need to respect the space. And plan for the time that works for you best, if you don’t like the sun, don’t go at 13pm and wear sunscreen! There’s bathrooms and some places to eat. You don’t need to buy the tickets in advance.

is a decent spot to check out if you have spare time and happen to be nearby. It's not a must-visit attraction, but the entrance fee is budget-friendly. While it provides a tranquil setting and lovely scenery, it may not be at the top of your list when exploring Buenos Aires.

The cost is $690ARS for entry. The cost is quite good for the value. Gardens are beautiful and very well kept. The koi fish are really neat to see as well. Check it out!

Had to make a visit to this beautifully tranquil garden in Buenos Aires. The queue for ticket purchase literally didn't exist. There was a man outside selling insect/mosquito repellent. I didn't put the two together, please don't learn the same lesson that I learned. BRING YOUR OWN INSECT REPELLENT OR PURCHASE SOME OUTSIDE!! The mosquitoes were a true terror, absolutely insane. The garden isn't a respectable size, it felt like you could pick it up and place it in Japan. A very true representation. Meticulous and gorgeous. Very peaceful and a good way to spend 30 minutes to an hour. Did I mention the mosquito though??? Take those mosquitoes into account. Don't let them deter you, but give them their due respect.

A real gem in the city. Great atmosphere, everything is organized and clean. We had so much fun to just walk and enjoy the Japanese garden. There's restaurant inside (we didn't eat there but the prices looked ok).

This is such an amazing place to visit. The Japanese garden is a wonder to behold. The trees, the ponds, the fish, the history behind this place is incredible. It is the perfect place for a great day with family. Whether you are local or a foreigner, this is the place. There is also a museum where you will find pictures of the first immigrants who arrived in Argentina as well as some utensils they used back in the days. The admittance is paid, but it is worth it. Right towards the exit, there is a flower shop where you can buy flowers and trees.

Awesome place to go. The walkthrough can take you between one or two hours. Very beautiful backgrounds to get some cool pics. There's a restaurant inside, one of the best in Buenos Aires. If you go on summer, be sure not to do it in the middle of the day.

Extremely beautiful Japanese garden. We paid 690 pesos per person in January 2023. The highlight was the getting to do your own Origami in the house at the end of the gardens. It was a really fun and cultural experience. The Koi’s are amazing too! Loved it and totally recommend.

Amazing gardens with lots of areas and things to look at. Some Japanese culture displays as well. There were lots of people and some of the paths were a bit narrow which made it difficult at times. Very much worth visiting and it's easy to buy tickets at the entrance.

Very nice place to go for a walk and find some peace. Music should be a little louder and restaurant needs way better quality sushi, as more variation in fish too

So beautiful and peaceful. The entrance fee is very affordable. Such a nice place to visit, even on a rainy day.

Very beautiful... amoung the nicest Japanese Gardens I've ever been. Unfortunately, it was not very serene the morning we were there. Every pretty vista had line-ups of people posing for photo after photo trying to get the perfect shot. I've come to the conclusion that Instagram, etc. are ruining travel. Try to find a quiet spot and reach for a bit of zen.

This is a beautiful Japanese Garden, I believe the biggest one outside of Japan. It's like an Oasis amongst the high rises and buildings of Buenos Aires. The park is laid out perfectly and takes about 20 minutes to walk around. It's fairly priced and worth checking out while in Buenos Aires.

  • 5/5 Megan H. 1 month ago on Google • 27 reviews New
Great little spot to relax. It was very busy as on a Monday other things are closed nearby. But everyone maintained a tranquil tone and therefore it was still relaxing. It cost $1.500 pesos.

  • 4/5 Gaston C. 3 months ago on Google • 20 reviews New
Very well presented and a nice place to visit. It does not take long to walk the park around. You can visit it all in 30 minutes to an hour and a half. It isn’t a large garden.

  • 5/5 Adriana N H. 3 years ago on Google
It's a magical place where you find a little Japanese space. Inside there are paths around the lake with trees and bridges that make you feel in Japan 😊. Also you have a small nursery where buy bonzai and others plants. The restaurant, which makes a delicious japanese food, gives you a good option for have dinner.

  • 1/5 Hristijan P. 3 years ago on Google
We went there at 18:25 and they closed at 18:45, but they took the full amount of money without saying anything. Also on the speakers they announce only in Spanish so good luck for the tourists understanding that.

very traditional Japanese garden. has very nice attractions you can view many plants that are Japanese origin also there is a small bonsai market where you can see miniature trees and gardens. the water fountain are very nice and all the color of the structure. there is a Japanese restaurant inside the garden where they offer sushi and other Japanese dishes.

  • 4/5 A Google U. 3 years ago on Google
Great, however the size of the place needs to be bigger to accommodate the crowds. Luckily I was able to get in a day it was raining but went back to see an exhibit of art and there were long lines down the sidewalks. I would love to see more Japanese plants (or at least Asian species like Hoyas which might do better in such a warm climate) and architectural features, and the name plaques have scientific names added to them as well as the common names.

  • 5/5 Benjamin B. 4 years ago on Google
Great garden with a feel of Japan. Definitely a nice place to visit to spend some time walking around to see family and friends. It’s 200 pesos to enter, and worth it. If you’re complaining about the cost and what it’s for, you’ll understand what you’re paying for when you see what’s inside. The garden is very well kept up. There’s even a section inside that you can buy household plants that you wouldn’t be able to buy anywhere else. Lots of great photo opportunities here, and a lot of serenity. Very crowded on weekends so try to go during the week. Highly recommended place to visit.

  • 4/5 Christopher S. 4 years ago on Google
Loved this place! We visited on a weekend, and it was a little bit crowded. Best to come later in the day when you're not in the blazing summer sun. The gardens are immaculately groomed, and it's a relaxing place to visit. They also have a small plant nursery where you can pick up bonsai or other gifts for your friends or garden.

  • 4/5 Christine Lopes W. 4 years ago on Google
Beautiful garden, very well taken care. I feel that it could have more seating area and overall more information about Japan. The entrance fee is fair 200 pesos; don't thing is worthy to stay hours in line to get in, plan to go in the mornings as is not as busy.

  • 5/5 Sebastián H. 4 years ago on Google
I really loved this place. It’s very well preserved by the Japanese government. The garden is not really big, but you can plan to stay for two or three hours if you’re not in a hurry and would like to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing ambient. If you practice meditation, this is an excellent place to do it. Trust me. You can buy plants and enjoy a meal at the restaurant, which is not cheap and is usually overcrowded (you’ll probably have to wait).

Amazing experience. Perfect to share with family and friends. This place is located in a very convenient area. Public transportation can drop you almost in front. I’m very amaze about the fact that no government entity support this place. The maintenance is being done by a private organization since they open. It’s a wonderful experience. A must in Buenos Aires.

We’ve purchased several plants and a couple of bonsai trees here. It’s a cute little vivero, but on our most recent visit we were treated very rudely. While inspecting a plant, one of the workers yelled at us not to touch it and stormed off. The whole exchange took me by surprise because we used to visit this vivero often and always had really good service and friendly people help us. Suffice to say, we opted not to spend any money during this visit and it’s unlikely we will choose to anytime soon.

What a majestic, peaceful, beautiful and of course, ZEN place! These gardens were so well maintained. Very lush. You can purchase fish food to feed the giant koi. A good place to spend an hour or more if you really like taking your time and reading about all the plants and flowers. This place made me feel like I was back in Tokyo. Great value for the price as well. Hope you enjoy!

You can't miss this visit. It's AMAZING, the garden is beautiful, it's well maintained and you can go and take beautiful pictures or just sit down for a while to read or enjoy the view. I really appreciated the music and the sond of the small cascades in the whole place. You can eat if you wish, there is a Japanese restaurant, it looked pretty nice, but kind of fancy, there is a kiosko kind of place where you can buy water and snacks too, and there is also a souvenir store, with nice things to take home. I went finishing winter in a day that looked like spring and was absolutely beautiful.

The Japanese Gardens of Buenos Aires are an absolute must-visit destination for anyone who loves natural beauty and serene tranquility. This enchanting oasis is a true jewel of the city, offering a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life. From the moment you step foot into the gardens, you'll be struck by their peaceful and serene ambiance. The landscape is meticulously maintained, with an array of winding paths, ponds, and bridges that transport you to a world of calm and beauty. The gardens are also home to a variety of exotic plants and flowers, as well as koi fish and turtles that add to the sense of serenity. One of the highlights of the Japanese Gardens is the stunning Japanese Pavilion, which was donated by the Japanese community in Buenos Aires. The Pavilion is a true work of art, featuring intricate wooden architecture, paper lanterns, and tatami mats that transport you to a world of traditional Japanese culture and aesthetics. Overall, the Japanese Gardens of Buenos Aires are a true gem of the city and an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves natural beauty and peaceful tranquility. With its stunning landscape, serene ambiance, and cultural richness, this destination truly deserves its five-star rating.

It was breathtaking. Ofcourse they had exquisite gardens but also had a perfect harmony of sounds in the form of music, water flowing, birds etc. Very harmonious and you feel at peace as soon as you enter. We stayed there for 1.5 hrs which was enough for a walk around/pictures and resting so you can take in all the beauty. About 17 mins Uber ride away from the City Center.

Wonderful place, I have been in Japan, in Kyoto visited golden Konku-ji temple, silver Temple, red temple and others, and must say this one brought me back on those days in Japan. I really lived serenity and peaceness here. Lovely place! Only thing which was different you hear spanish language here... And what also I like led real japanese guy greeted us on entrance! Arigato gozaimashitu. 🎎🎌

Very beautiful but a little bit dirty too. Toilets could be cleaner. And at evening it’s literally overcrowded with people. That clearly needs a restriction. Dedicated photo spots need about 20 minutes of waiting time.

  • 4/5 Aldo C. 5 months ago on Google
It's a nice activity to fill about 1 and half hours of your day. Weekends can be a little crowded. If you have a Japanese garden in your hometown, it's basically the same thing.

  • 5/5 Gordon W. 5 months ago on Google
A beautiful relaxing garden that you can easily wander around for hours. Everything was in bloom in late September, so it was particularly impressive. Just a note - the sushi at the restaurant was tasty, but in an Argentinian style (with cream cheese and spring onion) rather than traditional Japanese.

Actually very nice, probably even better when the cherry trees are blooming. No surprise that it's quite popular. But since it's not the biggest park, it tends to get overcrowded sometimes. For sure it's more a selfie-hotspot than a retreat. Entrance-fee was 690 ARS in late Oct 23
