This family owned new restaurant was excellent. It’s so nice to have a great Indian restaurant here in Rockland. In Suffern/Montebello no less! The food was authentic fresh. It’s a new business maybe 1 month old. Our family will be there on the regular.

My wife and I went here for lunch today to try out the new place in town! The food was great - we asked for medium spicy on our dishes and it was a good level. Still some spice but not overpowering. The restaurant is family owned and operated and you really feel it in the service and food. Highly recommend- can’t wait to make this a regular lunch spot!

Love this place! The food is fresh, not oily. It more than makes up for the place across the street closing. It is of a quality of the best Indian restaurants I have ever tried, and it has quickly become our family’s local favorite. The proprietors are kind and extremely dedicated. We are so happy to welcome them to the community.

The owners were extremely helpful in helping us plan a large meal for our family. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend

My friends took me here after mentioning how great the food and owners were. And they were right, the food was amazing and the service top notch. The owner was very accommodating to the needs of the party, due to a small child with adjusting heat levels and recommending dishes. They really made the whole visit incredible and the food recommendations were spot on with great portions sizes. Definitely recommend for dine in or take out!

Felt hungry after a doctor's appointment and was feeling Indian food .I ordered the Goat Dum Biryani and Goat Sukha,I had it as spicy as I could and it was delicious. I'm not sure what authentic Indian food tastes like but the food I ate here had flavor and it was well seasoned. They are family owned and have only been opened for a month. I highly recommend and I will be taking my friends back here. The Lady waiting will attend to your needs and will ask you how your food tastes. For your peace of mind the tables are cleaned after every customer.

We were passing through on way from NC to upstate New York and found this restaurant. Food was excellent, as was the service. Very welcoming and everything was top notch. Highly recommend and will be back when we are in the area.

This place is so adorable and welcoming. Sanjana is such a sweetheart and cares about your experience. She welcomes you like family! We ordered the garlic naan, gobi manchurian and chicken tikka masala. Portions were generous and the garlic naan was the best we've ever had! It was very fresh with a gentle crunch....0o0 everything was so good! We will definitely be back! Do yourself a favor and go visit this place and enjoy!!! Thanks for a great evening:)

UPDATE: As you can see by the response the restaurant has no plans on offering decent portion sizes. I will be taking photos of the takeout containers from the restaurants in the area next time I order so you can see the MAJOR difference and how tiny these are. Child size portions. I was more hungry after eating than before. Five small pieces of chicken and a handful of rice. The flavor and spice level was okay—not sure if others selecting medium will want the spice level, but I was okay with that. The portion size is a big no for me, I feel insulted. I have tried every Indian restaurant in the area and will go back to trying the ones not taking advantage of their patrons.

Food is great. The spice level is great as well. If you like spicy, you should go for the highest level and it tastes great. Naan is very soft. The biriyani is hyderabadi style. The best part is the water they provided are sealed filtered water bottles.

So full and so happy. The owners are truly the kindest people I have ever met. Our team of 15 hungry figure skaters post competition day all got the best food, and dessert comped. Each of us paid individually by card. I’ve never felt so warm and welcome.

Noor Biryani truly punches above its weight and rivals any Indian restaurant I've been to in the city. The food is amazing — it's fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The owners are also the nicest people, and were more than happy to modify dishes for my vegan wife. All in all, an amazing little restaurant, and somewhere I plan to become a regular. IT'S A MUST TRY!

An experience that deserves 5 stars all round. We dined here with our 3 year old on a Sunday afternoon and the owners made us feel so welcome and comfortable. My little guy was just so happy. So, 5 stars for the service. The food was absolutely delicious. The home style curry with goat was a celebration on a plate and one of the best Indian dishes we have eaten. We were told it was the owner-chef’s own secret recipe. So impressed. The goat biryani was amazing as well, and my 3 year old made sure to proactively tell me that he loved his butter chicken (from the kids menu). Also had the coffee and mango lassi, which were exactly what we expected. So, 5 stars for the food as well. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. We are already planning our next visit (even though we live over an hours drive away).
