James from MARX Entertainment was a delight to work with. He supplied us with sound for our ceremony and was our DJ for the reception. We spoke a few times in advance to go over the timeline and to pick out songs. He was a wealth of knowledge and put us as ease. Our big day went off without a hitch thanks to him. Our band for the cocktail hour got stuck in traffic and arrived 30 minutes late. James didn't even have to be asked, he immediately started playing music for our guests until the band arrived and was ready to go. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it. When it came to dancing, he got everyone of all ages up on the dancefloor. The dancefloor stayed pack all night long which is all we could have asked for. Thank you James!

MARX Entertainment was a no brainer after experiencing their quality at a friend's wedding. We had a great consultation with the owner and readily booked DJ Manu for our wedding. MARX entertainment added the dance floor lights to our package and while I wasn't convinced with needed them, it was a necessary addition to the night. DJ Manu was amazing and so easy to work with - super flexible and really matched our energy and vibe throughout the night. Only great things to say about this company and would recommend them to anyone for their wedding!

I could not have been more pleased! From start to finish MARX was amazing. They made everything so easy, the online system was a breeze and I was able to go back multiple times to put in new music and adjust my song choices. The flow of the ceremony was perfect. The absolute STAR was DJ Alonzo! I love old school rap and R&B, and I'm a 90's kid, my husband's favorite music is Iron Maiden with a splash of AC/DC. Alonzo kept everyone on the dance floor all night! I might have sat down for 10 minutes. So many of our friends told us how awesome he was! We also had a photo booth and I wish I could remember the names of the two women who ran it, they were fun and engaging! Our guests had a blast. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again for any event! DJ Manu was an amazing choice for our wedding day in Bristol, CT. He was the sweetest and our guests loved seeing him interacting and Mc'ing throughout the event. We loved everything about his demeanor and style of music -- also playing everything we asked for on our list. He called throughout the booking process to check in, ask questions and support our planning. We felt so comfortable and couldn't have picked a better person. We are beyond satisfied with Marx entertainment. We selected the all inclusive package (Photo Booth, up lighting, DJ) and it was perfect for our wedding. The photo booth was nicely setup and at the end of the night we received a nicely made scrapbook of all the photos and a usb drive. Our DJ Craig was 10/10. We got to hear all the songs we requested spaced out through the night and he read the room perfectly. If he saw a certain genre of music was entertaining the crowd he would stay in that area and keep the party going! I have already recommended Marx to several of my friends that are getting married in 2024. We appreciate how they made our special day even better.

Marx Entertainment was such a great company to work with! We were planning our wedding across the country and they made it easy to get in contact and virtually meet with our DJ. DJ Alonzo was amazing. He really read the crowd and kept them out on the dance floor. We had an online portal to put in all our music requests and set up a timeline for the day. Marx entertainment DJed our wedding in September and was nothing short of amazing. They met with us multiple times beforehand to figure out how we wanted our wedding to go and catered the event to that spec. Our DJ Alonzo was professional, funny, and well prepared. Had an incredible setlist that kept the dance floor populated all night long which was exactly what we were looking for. Couldn't recommend Marx entertainment or Alonzo more!

MARX Entertainment provided the lighting for both the Welcome Event and the Wedding Reception for my daughter and now son-in-law's beautiful wedding on September 23, 2023 in Marion, MA. Mark was responsive, attentive, professional and his son Nick was fantastic. Both events were magical and memorable for not only the bride and groom, but for all of our family and friends from around the world who joined us in the celebration. We would highly recommend them!

Our DJ Alonzo was nothing short of amazing!! He came and he sure did conquer! He was personable, humorous, and made every moment feel big. He interacted with the crowd and was so inviting without overdoing it or “stealing the show”. Anything we needed throughout the night he was there for. Our Photo Booth was flawless and our Photo Booth Attendants were so accommodating to everyone, without hesitation. So glad we added this to the night. We HIGHLY recommend MARX entertainment!!
