The best place for an evening walk, View of Lighthouse is a fantabulous, Real fun place for children... Remote car driving, Camlin ride, giant wheel, and what is not. A perfect place to spend evening time with family members. Children can be taken to see the boats which effortlessly move around. Two parks are available, one is near the light house, and another one is near the entry check point. This park is a perfect place for taking photos with gorgeous background of sea water. All varieties of small fishes can be seen here when the water level goes down which will be a feast to everyone. Even sometimes, you will admire to see, people of locals fishing hare. During the evening the whole beach gets alive beautifully. Payable toilets are available. Want to enjoy the breeze of sea, this beach will be a perfect place. Try it once...

I will tell you about this beach and timings and rules, regulations and do's and don'ts in this review. This beautiful beach is one of my favourite relaxing destination, this beach is awesome one with all the needed amenities. We have Sea, long seashore, path for walking, stone benches, harbour, rock path (harbour entrance), kids Park, Restaurant, Snacks shops (Pani poori, sundal, ice cream, Baji, corn, cool drinks, toy shop, keychains shop), paid play area (carousel, gun shooting, jumping mat etc..) Beach and park are well maintained, need little extra care on the seashore maintenance, if you walk little bit away from the rock path towards pine forest, I found lots of broken liquor bottles on the shore. Timings: The beach is opened for 24/7 but people or not allowed to water after 6pm sometimes 7pm Light house is opened till 6pm and people are allowed to visit top of the light house with a nominal fee (Rs. 20) when I last time visited Don'ts: Don't plan to bath in this beach, it's not safe due to following reasons 1. River and sea merge nearby so swirls will be there and it's dangerous. 2. Don't throw the waste on beach or park, please put them on dustbin 3. Don't walk on sides of rocks If you are visiting the beach, and decide to walk on the rock, my advice is to walk on the top of rocks instead of walking on the sides of the rock, because it's slippery. During my each visit I see few people falling while walking on side of rocks.

It was awesome as beautiful clouds if u go in week ends or Sunday's.. it's rush. If you want peacefull and calm surroundings ,visit on working days. Snacks stalls , ice creams ,mobile food carrier and pakoda's are available.sorry but I didn't find cofee stall. After 5:30pm police will not allow you to walk on the rocks.so better to go before that.

Added events with several playing events for children's becomes very popular for the first time visitors and also more enjoyable occasions for children's of in and around locality of Karaikal. It is first of its kind in the areas of three district Nagapattinam,Karaikal and also Mayiladuthurai too. Since for most of the ridings can not go alone by children's in range of 3-8 it is welcome if the half fare for the children's 3-8 is charged. Then it will be a crowd puller for all ridings.

Good entertainment for the people residing nearby....can't say it as a tourist place...just a picnic spot....beach is good...can enjoy lots of rides and snack stalls....park and bathroom suck🤮....untidy....thumbs down to car parking area👎...not proper....2 two wheelers had been parked behind our car😡 which was parked in the car parking area...it became a big struggle to take out our car from the parking🥵....beware when you park your car🧐....

The best time to visit is in the evening. Lots of shops You can try them all with your family, they will love it. I really didn't expect Karaikal beach to be this much of a tourist attraction because from small children's cars to camel rides for elders. It really overtook my expectations. 2 best spots in Karaikal are morning to Karaikal temple and evening time to this beach, you will get a positive vibe for sure.

Never expected this kind of beach. It's very clean, there is park, organized parking without parking tickets, Good restaurant where u can get quality food, spl place for ice-cream and other snacks. High light is the light house with entrance tickets for 10 Rs. Very good view from the top. If you ve good lens, u could capture good shots.

Karaikal as such is a nice and calm place with its Pondicherry roots and few colonial buildings. But the beach and surroundings are not well maintained. There is a Seagull restaurant near the light house with open air dining. It could have been an awesome place, almost similar to the one at Pondicherry beach, but poor maintenance and service. But that being the only option there for a bite or sip, people have no choice. The light house is a beautiful structure and resembles some foreign country, much different from the usual light houses we see.

Beach is situated far away from busstand. Approximately 3 Km from bus stand. From there you can take a auto to reach the beach. Beach was maintained well along with a park and hotel and other food items also available. It includes lot of children games. Children's love to spend time there. Comparatively cost also seems reasonable. A idle to place to spend peaceful time in the beach.

It was nice place for a family vacation. The place had kids play area too. Transportation was readily available near the park. The place was very neat and clean. all the shops were closed in the afternoon and opened in the evening. Overall good place to hangout in the evening.

Beach was neat and tidy not too crowded.. During weekdays, you may not get autos or cabs frequently to return from beach to Bus stop or railway station. Best time to visit would be post 6 PM or early morning otherwise it's way too hot.

A best entertainment place for the people around Karaikal. New light house is good to visit and the ticket cost is very less. Car parking is well equipped to park a minimum of 50 cars safely in the parking area. Snacks and recipes of petty shops are available in plenty which doesn't cost much People spend an average of 1-2 hours in the premises and there are people who come for walking regularly along the coastal pathway.

It's really a pleasant place..I you feel depressed you can surely go there ...really enjoyed those foods around the shore..
