The guest house is very well located in a more quiet but still lively neighbourhood; close to Ribeira and other hotspots (We walked almost everything, but if you don’t want to walk, there’s always an uber or public transport nearby). The guest house is clean, has a good athmosphere and is furnished with great taste. The people who work here are very kind and were most helpful to us during our stay. Breakfast was delicious. In a nutshell: we highly recommend this beautiful guest house.

We actually intended to stay only one night at Porto Music Guest House and ended up canceling our previously booked hotel to stay two more nights. The place just recently opened and everything is brand new and absolutely tasteful. The interior design is a mixture of old (e.g. wooden floors, stucco ceilings etc.) and modern furniture (I'd say Danish style). The host is very friendly, welcoming and caring. She offered me some port wine when checking in and when I told her I wouldn't drink alcohol she put some juice and self made cookies in our room. There's a kind of common living room that you can use to sit down and relax and a terrace to the backside we you can have breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a little kitchen (fridge, sink, microwave, dishes). Beds are comfortable (two different mattresses though) and there are two differently sized pillows available which I really like as I prefer smaller pillows. Everything is perfectly clean and there's enough space for your suitcases. Breakfast is included and served buffet-style in another bistro-like area or outside. It includes coffee (espresso on request), tea, milk (hot and cold), fresh orange juice, fruit (apples and prunes), 3 types of cereal, yogurt, 3 types of jam, butter, cheese and ham (1 type each), freshly baked bread, buns and typical Portuguese pastries. No eggs though... All in all a very beautiful, friendly and welcoming place that we enjoyed staying at a lot and that we'd definitely recommend!

What a lovely find! I needed a one night accommodation before my flight home, and most Porto hotels were in the €300-400 range. This came up for a great rate - best of all it’s just 500 meters from the Metro and Alsa bus stations. Rooms of beautiful and of the same caliber of a W or similar boutique hotel. Be sure to tell them your arrival time prior, as they don’t have a staffed front desk.

Really really nice owners that are very helpful. Modern, large rooms. The only disadvantage-quite old building (though perfectly renovated) where every sound is heard. Also, it is still a 30 min walk to the city center. Breakfast-as in Portugal/Italy: small and sweet:-)

Fantastic stay in a wonderful Place. Owners Extremely nice kind and welcoming. Nice breakfast, good position, design rooms, comfortable beds, very nice bathroom. I would definitely Recommend this guest house. It has also of course an Ideal localization if You want to join concerts at Casa da Musica.

Have just stayed at Porto Music Guest house, we arrived 3 weeks ago late in the evening to a fantastic greeting. We travelled with 2 bike boxes which were stored at the guest house at a very reasonable price. We went cycle touring for 3 weeks in Portugal returning to the guest house. Both our stays were perfect and Antonio and Susana were always there to help when needed. Would not hesitate to recommend Porto Music Guest House
