Amazing park if you want to see some squirrels! The park is really huge so don't underestimate the distance to cross from one side of the park to the other. There are plenty of activities to do in the park, it's a great place to bring young children. There is a beautiful lake as well, with ducks.

Probably my favourable place in London. I simply enjoy every single moment spent in the Hyde Park! This place has everything that one can imagine, while thinking about rest & relax. Its location is of great advantage. Limited by the Albert Hall from the south, Kensington Palace from the west, Lancaster Gate from the north and Oxford & Soho area from the east. Just walking distance from the Buckingham Palace (10minutes from the Hyde Park Corner) and then next 15 minutes to the Trafalgar Square (via the Mall).

Had visited Winter wonderland in Hyde park which was amazing. They had all sorts of rides and amusement park activities for all ages. The food was overpriced as usual. The beer gardens were really good with love music. Very entertaining on the whole!

It is a beautiful park. Great walk and amazing views, the lake is so beautiful and the ducks are so cute. We loved the nature and it is so clean. Make sure to have comfortable shoes to be able to walk all around it, as it is really huge.

Winter Wonderland proves to be a magical experience, especially if planned wisely. Opting for a weekday visit is highly recommended to escape the weekend rush, allowing for a more enjoyable and relaxed outing. To maximize your enjoyment, keep an eye on the weather forecast; ideal conditions can significantly enhance the overall ambiance and comfort. One key tip is to pre-book tickets online in advance. This not only ensures a smoother entry process. Financial preparation is advisable, given the myriad of enticing rides and attractions available. While the quality of the rides is commendable, being financially mindful will help you navigate the experience without any unexpected financial strain. Winter Wonderland is an excellent destination for both family outings and gatherings with friends. The festive atmosphere, adorned with dazzling lights and seasonal decorations, sets the stage for memorable moments. However, a word of caution when it comes to the enticing gambling games – try your luck, but exercise prudence to avoid overspending. Moreover, resist the temptation of oversized soft toys that might catch your eye. It's easy to get carried away, so keeping a balance between fun and financial responsibility is key. In conclusion, with strategic planning and a mindful approach, Winter Wonderland offers a delightful escape into a winter wonderland that can be enjoyed responsibly with loved ones.

Great park. Large and wooded. It is possible to feed some animals. Friendly and happy people. It is possible to sit in front of the lakes and admire the scenery. I recommend going to the Italian Garden inside the park and the Princess Diana Memorial. There are some spots in the park where it is possible to feed the birds. I recommend it to everyone.

Excellent park! Huge, with lots of things to see and do. Lots of space available, in spite of its popularity and how busy it was, even on a weekday morning. Cycle paths (with bicycle hire available), picnic on the grass areas is possible, larger lake with many ducks, geese and swans. Horse riding tracks, and even a trough. Lots of little memorials and gardens dotted about. Cafes, with toilets, to rest and replenish at. I still have several more attractions and areas to explore there. A great place to relax and spend a few hours, or even pass the day. Whether it's by yourself, with a pet, a loved one, the family or friends. We were fortunate to have a great weather that morning. Ps. You might be lucky to catch the army training their soldiers to ride there some time like we did.

Very spacious park with enough space for resting and walking in peace. You hardly bump to people due to the humongous area this park is made up of. But during special days and summer holidays this place transforms into the human jungle. Winter wonderland was one of the best times we visited this place as the rides and decorations were worthy of a visit.

It is a very beautiful and fascinating place. You can go at any time of the day. You can take amazing photos there, go for a walk with your friends and have fun. It is a very peaceful place and you can watch the animals in their natural environment, there are ponds in the rather large park. it is a very impressive place, you should go even if nothing is done, you can go even just for a walk.

I visited for the Rolling Stones' 👅 concert and had the most fabulous time! The park is massive and it was beautifully set up for visitors to enjoy the space while waiting for the gig to start! We found plenty of activities, food and drinks. Appreciated was the sensory area where to relax!

Loved this visit. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon stroll. The weather was pleasant and the park was nicely busy. Visitors were bathing, running, playing or like us just enjoying a walk. There were a small number of refreshment cabins which were reasonably priced. Deck chairs could be hired as well as pedalos. Worth a visit if you have never been there before.

Easy to get lost here if you are not used to it Cafes are cashless only Good place for a picnic Saw a lot of happy dogs Ducks and birds are well maintained and almost trained Maintenance work is sufficient Kind of muddy pathways Local workers are always grumpy for some reason No signages of direction Didn’t come across any public restrooms Trash bins numbers are too low for a park that big No security guards or information desks/workers

Hyde Park is truly a gem in the heart of London. This sprawling green oasis offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The serene Serpentine Lake, lush lawns, and iconic statues create a picturesque landscape. Walking through the park, you'll encounter a sense of tranquility and beauty. The diverse flora and fauna, including swans and ducks, add to the park's charm. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll, having a picnic, or simply sitting on a bench, Hyde Park offers a perfect setting to relax and unwind. One of the highlights is the Speaker's Corner, where free speech has thrived for centuries. It's a unique place to witness debates, performances, and expressions of all kinds. Hyde Park's history and culture are also evident through monuments like the Diana Memorial Fountain and the Albert Memorial. These landmarks remind visitors of the park's rich heritage. Overall, Hyde Park is a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike. Its natural beauty, cultural significance, and the sense of peace it provides make it a true London treasure.

We had a pleasant experience walking around here, looking at the pigeons, ducks and swans. There are cafe stalls for coffee, ice creams, water etc. Moreover, they have an award winning coffee cafe around this area. It now became one of my favourite places in the world.

A beautiful place to be especially in Summers. This huge park is a great place to go with family, friends or just by yourself. It has a lot of cafes, playgrounds, cycle tracks and boating as well! It can get a bit crowded on weekends and on sunny days.

It's a beautiful park in Central London—plenty of space to walk. There's a lovely secluded vegetable and herb garden here too, which is my favourite spot. In the summer, there are a series of large-scale concerts held here. Some are open to everyone, and some are ticketed. It does mean that parts of the park will be closed off at that time. However, the park is big enough to have plenty of space to explore. i really like it and want to come again soon

One of the best park in London. Full of nature. U can see variety of birds, plants, flowers. Beautiful autumn views. Love to enjoy the lake, boating. Best for walk in any season of the year. Good thing about it’s location right in the middle of city London. It’s one side Buckingham Palace, on other side world famous Oxford street, other hand Knights Bridge. Easy access by bus or underground all side of this park. Never ever get tired to visit it again n again. It’s full of entertainment. U can enjoy horse riding, cycling, boating, skating n many more activities in this park. On top of that every year Winter Wonderland comes to this park for giving them happiness n reminding them that Xmas is on its way 😄. It’s the must must to do thing if ur in London in mid of Nov to mid of Jan. The best Xmas market u can have here. Full of fairy lights. Love the Ice Skating under the fairy lights. My fav Princess Diana memorial is there. Love to enjoy my sunset view here whenever I’m around

Great park. Very big and lots to do. You can exercise on the many paths around the park. Maybe just lay down on a green huge field. There is a memorial for princess Diana ND is quite relaxing and nice. The main lake had a bunch of ducks and geese apparently well treated. You have the possibility of "boat riding" on the lake. Anyway, there is a lot to check and enjoy on this great park, near many restaurants, stores and touristic spots.

Large, volume with a beautiful lake and a nice river. Many lawns to practice all kinds of sports. Land area for horse riding. Bicycle paths and behind restricted to pedestrians. You can enjoy swimming, boating, cycling and skating. There are pitches for team games, tennis courts, tracks for horse riding and a spectacular children’s playground. The Park has two lakeside restaurants which are licensed and serve everything from a three-course meal to a quick cup of coffee. Hyde Park is home to a number of fascinating buildings and monuments, such as The Serpentine Bridge, the Joy of Life fountain and the famous Archiles statue. And with the Diana Memorial Fountain and open air events throughout the year, there’s always something to see and do. If you’re out and about on Sunday, head to Speaker’s Corner to hear London’s most vocal orators share their opinions with the world.

Nice big clean park .. biggish lake, food, toilet (20p required on touch card, no cash!) etc. I had a nice long walk and rested on a big bench, had my own refreshing cold drink and food. Read a few chapters of my e-book and then continued on my journey.

Winter Wonderland is amazing, had tonnes of fun, the ice sculptures were beautiful but it is VERY cold in there - take gloves and a scarf! The rides are a bit pricey some of them were £8 for the one ride which stacked up pretty fast. XXL was fun though, the Eurocoaster was a bit underwhelming, nevertheless had a good time though. Take cash for some of the stalls as they sometimes said their card machines are broken, there is an ATM somewhere in winter wonderland but it’s all a big maze!

Absolutely spectacular place to go to with young child. Most importantly your physiological needs will be easily met as the toilet within the park are well maintained and clean. Just make sure you got 20 pence. The other option is to pay contactles way. Well maintained playground in close proximity to Buckingham Palace and lovely coffee places where you can get something to drink and bite are icing on the cake. Maybe we were on the special date but most likely it is a magical place and your child will not want to leave the playground.

The largest of the four Royal parks it forms the entrance to Kensington Palace. This is a lovely park to explore and enjoy. There are several statues and monuments scattered throughout the park that are great to discover. This is also a great place for inner city birdwatching with several signs around the park that explain some of the many birds that you may come across within the park.

Wonderful park in the middle of London serving a variety of unique species. The Great Crested Grebe, a noble waterfowl can be seen swimming through the water by the handsome Tufted Ducks, enormous Mute Swans, and introduced Canada and Egyptian Geese. As descendants of previously domestic birds, the pigeons are decorated with fantastic colours. Grey Herons sit and watch their prey from exposed perches. European Robins and Eurasian Wrens whistle their songs along the path. A great park for birders or not in a prime spot in the city!

This is one of those places that would take most of the day to really explore and enjoy I only visited to see the speakers corner that I have seen many times on videos online. I didn't get to hear anyone speaking out but I liked looking out across the park there is so much space so if relaxing in groups on the green there is still plenty of space away from other people. I would really like to get to explore more of the park when I visit again.

Gigantic park with trails, lakes and fields for you to picnic, bike, jog or walk around to escape from urban life with a touch of nature. Go! There's stuff for everyone. Huge spaces to bike, jog, or just amble along. There are tons of ducks and geese, a huge Lake to do boating, and a whole lot of manicured flower beds and statues. It is so big that even the weekend before the coronation, you can find many quiet spits to sit and get away from it all. Do take a moment to visit Speaker's Corner, a lot of history there.

It is such a peaceful and relaxing place, but it comes to life when the summer arrives and the concerts begin. A great location for outdoor concerts. I have seen the Killers and the Rolling Stones at this perfect central London park. When The BST concerts are around get yourself some tickets and take advantage of this great opportunity, something to do at least once in your lifetime.

Hyde Park is one of the most popular parks in London. There is a map explaining each location and where to go. There are many gates to enter the park and Cafes to enjoy the green nature. The park is well maintained and I did not see dirty places at all. There is wonderful sitting area with fountains. There are big lake with ducks which you can feed them. You can find squirrels near the trees. There are Area to do activities like cycling, Running, football. You have to visit and enjoy the nature and lakes. I have spent 3 hours just walking. It is magnificent park.

The royal parks are beautiful, however I was disappointed that there weren't any nesting islands in the water bodies, there were hundreds of birds with their young & nowhere for them to nest safely!! Plus adding a safe place, such as in the middle of the pond would also attract biodiversity to the area too, that would be great to see.

To many wasps buzzing around bins . You just can't sit outside the cafes. Diana memorial , I don't think she would be much impressed by this , it doesn't reflect the beautiful person she was . A garden of beautiful flowers and bushes with a seating area and a fountain would be more appropriate. Sometimes people who think they know what is a good idea , haven't got an idea!!.

(Translated by Google) One of the Royal Parks, of which there are 7 or 8 in London, I don’t remember exactly. It's a very beautiful place. It grows rare trees and plants. There is a lake in the park where you could see rare water birds, such as swans. Before the pandemic on the lake. there was a station where you could rent a boat or pedal boat. Unfortunately now this station does not work. But there are still a lot of people in the park. Someone is running, someone is just walking alone or with his family. The park is quite it is still large, in many places there are benches. So if you get tired, you can sit and rest. I myself have walked in this park many times. I recommend that all nature lovers go there - there is something to see. Hyde Park is the bigger half (sic) of a large green area in central London. If travelling to Oxford Street via the Tube go to Lancaster Gate and enjoy the walk across the park to Marble Arch. My favourite open space in the capital. It might just be my perception, or the times I visit, but there seem to be far more birds on this side than in neighbouring Kensington Gardens. And there’s a great variety many of which are quite tame and so present some great photo opportunities even if you only have a mobile phone. The Serpentine is glorious on a sunny day and a trip out on the water, via pedalo or rowing boat, is recommended even if you only do it once. Bring your own food as local little wooden eateries, though lovely to look at, aren’t cheap. Definitely, definitely bring a water bottle or two as the walks are longer than you think and so can be exhausting on a hot, sunny day. Also bring your own picnic blanket as deck chairs are charged for. As always watch out for joggers and cyclists who are around at most times of the day. Nevertheless, it’s the best place to exercise yourself and the dog especially now that the London Congestion Charge has resulted in air far cleaner than back when I started coming here in the ‘90s. The main ‘gotcha’ is that the character and feel of the area varies according to when you visit. Early mornings in Spring and Autumn, especially Sundays, are best as the friendly (for London) locals seem to come out. Visit midday in the height of tourist season and it becomes difficult to move around let alone enjoy the space.

Hyde Park is a must for tourists who come to visit London. As a Londoner I visit Hyde Park quite often, plenty of green open space, animals, picnic spots (please take your rubbish with you once you finish), loads of activities for kids and adults. It’s the official venue of The British Summer Time. If you don’t like crowd I would suggest to go during the week rather than weekends. Respect the beautiful trees, animals and flowers.

  • 5/5 Orget H. 2 years ago on Google
The park is quite big and it has pretty much everything you need. Enough space to just sit on the grass or on a bench and enjoy the quite and peace. A beautiful lake filled with wild animals (ducks and geese). And a nice place to ride your bicycle.

London's Central Park. The biggest of the Royal Parks. One could easily complete the day's 10,000 steps. The most unique features are the multiple Princess Diana Memorials (one gets an overwhelming sense that she was truly loved by many), the many gardens and serpentine, an S shaped lake in the park which is home to many swans (many mute swans & we did see one black swan) & geese. Sadly people keep feeding the birds despite constant reminders & warnings everywhere. Few seconds of picture perfect satisfaction for humans and potentially a lifetime of suffering for the birds. Hyde Park is well connected by road and underground, has all the important places along it and also houses the Kensington palace. Children will love the experience and adults will find their daily dose of tranquility.

My favourite of all the parks, worth getting up early and visiting at dawn, someday's you will be treated to the army riding through occasionally in full ceremonial dress. Very well maintained such a shame that people cannot out there rubbish in the bin. At times the park is so tranquil that you can be forgiven for forgetting that you are in the centre of London, lots of wildlife to look out for and you may even spot one of the eccentric Serpentine Swimmers enjoying an early morning swim. Beautiful park

Our family's favorite park. Besides being iconic and the perfect park in general, you can get a whole day's worth of entertainment sitting on a bench and listening to the conversations of people walking by. And maybe bring a handful of nuts to share with the super friendly squirrels.

Winter Wonderland - lovely selection of wonderful stalls. The fair wasn't as good as previous years though (understandable given covid), the staff working for Winter Wonderland were not very helpful and certainly won't be purchasing vouchers in advance again as most stalls said the service was down so ended up spending most of them on 2 stalls. Not very Covid safe!

We absolutely loved our visit to Hyde park in London. We went on a Sunday and even though it rained a lot, it was very quiet compared to the past. Our dog loved the walk and the squirrels. The gardens here are immaculate, I cannot express how beautiful they are and how much effort has gone into creating and up keeping the flower, trees and bushes. There are multiple gardens across the park, all well kept and looked after. Some pretty amazing statues with their history as well. Now is the time to visit as it is very quiet due to no tourists thanks to Covid.

  • 5/5 Raymond W. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of space and seating. There are toilets and a food / drink place at each side of the park (North, Z East, South, West). They are a bit expensive, but most provide a lot of seating and have variety of food and drinks available. Just avoid the top cafe, unless you want coffee, because the food is bad and the other drinks are overpriced (£2.40 for a an of coke!). There are lots of ducks roaming near the lakes and swans too. You can often find them eating, sleeping, or cleaning their feathers.

Such a beautiful park I never realised how large it was until I came through one station and left through another ! The scenery was breathtaking the children love it the adults and animals love it I didn't take enough pictures because I was enjoying myself that much! Hyde Park in London is a fantastic outdoor space that offers a multitude of activities and a convenient location. It's incredibly easy to access, making it a popular choice for locals and tourists alike. One of the standout features of Hyde Park is its vast space, providing ample room for various outdoor activities. Whether it's picnicking, cycling, playing sports, or simply enjoying a leisurely walk, there's something for everyone. The park's well-maintained lawns and beautiful greenery create a serene and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights for families is the boat ride. Taking a boat ride in Hyde Park is great fun, especially for kids. It adds an extra element of excitement and adventure to the visit, creating lasting memories. The joy and laughter experienced during the boat ride make it a must-do activity. Overall, Hyde Park offers a perfect blend of accessibility, space, and engaging activities. Its central location makes it easily accessible, and the abundance of outdoor space provides endless opportunities for leisure and recreation. Whether you're visiting with family or friends, Hyde Park is a wonderful destination that guarantees a fun-filled day amidst the natural beauty of London.

Hyde park is very big. A long stretch of horse walk, roses gardens. Bees are busy rocking themselves in between the flowers. I managed to walk one round of The Serpentine.

  • 5/5 Merham K. 8 months ago on Google
I always love my stroll in the Hyde Park. The trees are standing tall, diverse, and lovable. I also enjoy the various birds you meet in your visit, very rich in biodiversity. Love the colourful and beautiful flower beds scattered near the peripheries.

Such a beautiful park. I would highly recommend checking out the Italian Gardens as well as the Peter Pan Statue. There are many places to walk and relax, as well as a scenic pond. Unfortunately, during the summer days there can be a lot of people wearing minimal clothing.

I went to Hyde Park 33 years ago on a cold November. On my visit in July 23, I had the opportunity to see again. It's like an oasis in the middle of a metropolis like London. It was interesting to me 30 years ago that there were free-speech zones in the park. Many sports events are held in the park. Ideal for sunbathing in sunny weather. There were running competitions during our trip. There is a large lake in the park. Swans and ducks swim in the lake. It is relaxing to eat, drink and watch the lake at the cafe around the lake. During the trip, there were speeches by those who made propaganda for the health system, Islam and Christianity.

Such a nice, big park. It’s a very beautiful place to talk a stroll, especially in autumn (fall) as the leaves are falling and squirrels are squirrelling. Definitely take a stroll through here when nearby :)

A lovely park in the centre of the metropolis. Surrounded by busy commercial districts, it is a retreat from the dazzling streets of London. I envy Londoners who can enjoy their leisure time in such a beautiful green space.

Went here as this park is the closest one from the Hotel. Actually the first park I visited for the first time in London 2 hours after checking in in the Hotel. One word. Squirrels! The place is just really clean overall. The wildlife is thriving. The people don’t rush and is taking in all the view. The scenery is spectacular, so much so that I need to sit and admire everything. PS: visit the lake in the middle. Plenty of photo opportunities for the birds and ducks there.

A stroll among English History. Absolutely beautiful and a huge collection of people, their dogs and tons of equestrian enjoyment right in the middle of London. Much like Central Park in NYC, but Hyde Park is super well maintained and extremely clean. It’s almost revenant. Flowers were still in bloom. Grounds were green and squirrels were everywhere. Birds were abundant for even the pickiest of enthusiasts. I enjoyed the stroll tho’ we did not get to cover it all due to self inflicted time restrictions. My bad for not allowing enough time to savor the moment.

  • 4/5 savvas c. 5 months ago on Google
Great open space good for when you go picnicking or picking up chestnuts. The serpentine was very big and had a good variety of birds. Only thing is the restaurant and boats in the serpentine are very expensive so I didn’t buy anything. Overall it’s a great park to do lots of things

Hyde Park in London is a beautiful place to visit any time of year, but it's especially magical in autumn. The trees turn a vibrant array of colors, creating a stunning backdrop for a leisurely stroll or brisk walk. The Round Pond is also particularly mesmerizing in the fall, with its tranquil waters reflecting the dramatic skies above. One of my favorite spots in Hyde Park in autumn is the Sunken Garden. It's a quiet hideaway within the park, with a mix of seasonal blooms and foliage that's sure to impress any garden enthusiast. It's like stepping into a living painting! Overall, Hyde Park is a gorgeous green oasis in the heart of London. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the beauty of nature. I highly recommend visiting Hyde Park in autumn, especially if you're a fan of changing leaves and beautiful scenery.

Hadn’t been there for 30 years, it was so beautiful in the morning, quiet and peaceful but as the day progressed it got really busy with families picnicking on the grass. There was nowhere to sit and rest. There are good food takeaway places and restaurants and the galleries are great to visit. Public toilets are spotless too. Try to visit in the morning for a walk along the lake and enjoy ducks, swans and other wildlife.

We all know and love this lovely huge green space in Londons heart. We are so fortunate in Britain and London to have such richness of parkland available to wander over. It is the running base for the Serpentine running club and the race included runners from across London and were members of many running clubs . I was a marshal for the race. Wonderful start to the New Year.

We went to the Winter Wonderland in the evening. It was very well organised and secure. Quite expensive but we spent 6 hours there. Only issue was the beggers that started to appear around 9pm. It was dark when we were there so can't comment on the rest of the park.
