I loved it. It was quite great to see this famous palace. It became much more beautiful as the sun set and the palace lights started lighting up the palace and it's surroundings. It was not as crowded as other parts of London today. Definitely worth visiting.

For sure one of most iconic places you will ever visit! A lot of tourists and a lot of pickpockets so be careful! Otherwise place is very fantastic and you cannot skip it if you visit London! If you can, try to visit when guards are changin! Love it!

Buckingham Palace is the Queen's residence in London and is open to the public during the summer months between July to September, when the Queen is not in residence. The tour needs to be booked online in advance and the admission is £20 per person. We visited there only for the Changing of the Queen Guard which is highly recommended by friends and we enjoyed the show so much even though it’s more than 1 hour. It’s not serious and boring as what we expected but really amusing. Just a reminder that the schedule varies by months. It’s daily in June & July, but only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from August to May. We did not pay attention to the update and needed to change our planned schedule.

Came to witness the changing of the guard, which was a very cool ceremony. We particularly enjoyed hearing the band play. I expected to hear some stuffy old British anthems, however they actually played quite a bit of secular music, including the Star Wars theme! It was a neat experience, and it was easy to appreciate the history and pageantry of it all. Certainly worth a visit if you are in London.

Just visited Buckingham Palace and, wow, it's as stunning as always! You can't help but be impressed by its size and classic beauty. Walking up to those famous gates feels like stepping into history. The architecture is something else, and seeing that iconic balcony in person is a whole different experience. The gardens around the palace are super well-kept and add a nice touch of greenery to the whole royal vibe. It's one of those must-see spots in London, especially if you're into cool buildings and British history. Definitely a highlight.

As per say ...it is The Queens stay and it's quite well fortified. Beautiful architecture.... Which is ancient and has a lot of history too....so over all it's a cool and fully secured place and the fountain is really awesome with the sky as it's background❤️

We went to see the changing of the guard. The police really impressed me, especially the mounted police. Taking time out to greet people but mostly the children and let them pet the horses. I was really impressed and so proud to be British.

Very beautiful place. I advise you to visit here. The official London residence of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Located opposite the Mall Street and Green Park with a white marble and gilded monument to Queen Victoria. When the monarch is in the palace, the royal standard flies over the roof of the palace.

A must visit place for anyone visiting London. The surroundings are very quiet. The fact that the guards are moving around is something to look forward to. Visiting is completely free of charge. Because it's so spectacular. As far as I know this palace is the palace of the Queen. The palace complex is located on a large plot of land. Also, the park around Buckingham Palace will soothe your mind. This is a very valuable opportunity to visit.

Very touristy place yet a MUST visit in London. It is a place for Royal Family. I believe it is very crowded every day, so watch out your stuffs there. There might be some random people offer you to take a picture, just be careful!

Buckingham Palace is a must-see when traveling to London. What you see on TV or YouTube is not the same when you are there. The Buckingham Palace changing of the guards is better than any other changing of the guards I have seen in other countries. It was a long wait for the activity when I was there. But I think it was worth it. I really enjoyed seeing it in front of my eyes!

How can you really review such an important and historical place like Buckingham Palace? I just been honoured to see this imposing building and the lovely gardens near the palace. Defiantly I will try to go there every time I will visit London. People should appreciate and take lessons from English people who preserve and take care about their history.

The heart of the UK itself, the Buckingham Palace is an extravagant sight to behold. Though you have to pay for tours, visiting it is completely free and marches are done frequently for those wanting to see. The park next to is also gorgeous as well with a small Cafe right next to it. There are soldiers on guard 24/7 and is really cool to see. It is usually busy as expected but I would still recommend going here if you want to get your breath taken away!

Visiting Buckingham Palace was a regal experience that exceeded expectations. The grandeur of the architecture, coupled with meticulously manicured gardens, showcased the epitome of royal elegance. The guided tour provided fascinating insights into the palace's history and its significance in British royalty. The State Rooms were a visual feast, adorned with opulent furnishings and priceless art. The Changing of the Guard ceremony added a touch of ceremonial splendor. The staff's courtesy and professionalism enhanced the overall visit. Buckingham Palace is a must-see destination for those seeking a glimpse into the majestic heritage of the British monarchy.

Busy place when it's changing of the guard. Heavy police presence which is reassuring. If you want to see the whole changing of the guard thing, make sure you're at the palace gates / fencing. Lasts around 45 minutes. Make sure you go to the toilet before you go to watch it.

It’s a very iconic monument to visit and walk around when you visit London. Changing of guards happens daily at 1130am Lovely to spend some time sitting on the steps to just admire all the opulent and beautiful historical statues around the area. Well worth a visit and have the walk along The Mall pathways towards St James Park.

I have been to here just to enjoy the changing of guards in different views, it is amazing! And I have visit the State Rooms, Royal Mews and the Queen’s gallery. There are so much collections that you could enjoy. A very unique experience, would love to bring my wife here again. P.S. if you want to see the changing of guards with a better view, you could either choose under the Queen Victoria statue or beside the gate of the Palace. The guards will enter the gate from both sides, and leave the Palace using the middle gate. Good luck! Enjoy!

A iconic monument - Buckingham palace to visit and walk around when you visit London. As it is a home of The Queen, the focus of national and royal celebrations. Changing of guards happens daily at 1130am. They have food, drinks, ice cream, a gift shop and toilet facilities inside. There is no shops or restroom nearby. So come prepared take some clicks n move on to the next attractions.

The security was extremely tight but since we just so happened to show up during changing of guard completely understandable. However the police although strick were friendly and nice. The palace was beautiful and clean. Tours were not available but that's just because of when we went. Definitely planning to go again and see the inside.

I had the opportunity to visit and stay in London more than once in (1988, 1990 and 1933), and during my stay there I visited several beautiful places, including Buckingham Palace, this wonderful and distinctive historical place. As you wander inside the palace, you will discover what the life of those who lived in it was like and their standard of life, which differs from the life of the common people. I advise everyone who visits London to visit it.

We were treated to a drive by sighting of Camilla today whilst introducing my youngest to the Palace. I'm always in awe of this place and the history it holds and the whole concept of the Royal family should be valued. They are warming us up to the Queens passing which is sadly imminent in my opinion and this family will never be the same again after this. I don't care if you don't love the Queen but this place is drenched in our History and should be cherished.

Buckingham Palace is one of the royal palaces of the Queen. If you are able to visit at the time of guard change then you get a chance to view the parade. It is a very rare event when the main entrance gets open. The garden close to this place is very charming and you can visit there to relax your mind.

As for the changing of the guard, I will say that it is a beautiful and solemn ceremony that was a bit long, that is, as well as other things can be repeated, this no. Go see Liz. The state room tour is very sumptuous and to see a little of the behind the scenes was good. The audio guides were informative and detailed but a little short. After the tour we are in the garden cafe, a good choice of food but really expensive. The garden tour was good but we got the feeling the guide was not feeling it that afternoon. Will go back and do the other tours at a later date.

Worth to visit if you visit London when palace is open. Need book in advance in good time. I got information that not take big backpack though I saw some tourist who took with them. No place to leave luggage at the palace so be aware of it. They show about 15 rooms with free audio guide. Guiding takes 1-2min each room. Its good not to take long time to listen. There are friendly staffs in each room and answer questions if you need to know more. Rooms are really beautiful and sad that no photo inside. It takes about a hour to look around the palace. There is a shop, cafe and toilet in garden. Entaurance and exit is totally different place.

Be prepared for a crowd surrounding the gates of the palace, and if you are truly interested in seeing the changing of "royal guard" honestly its not worth it. Whenever I watched it happen I remember thinking, "what happened, did I miss it?? I don't get it?" It was cute and all with gold outlining every available accent, but if you are from the states and don't poses a fandom mentality for the Royals then its just all kind of meh

Have been on two different trips, 2018 and 2019. In 2018, it happened to be when Queen Elizabeth was celebrating her birthday so the whole family made an appearance. On the second trip, got to tour the inside of the palace and it was during an exhibit to Queen Vitoria. Purchase your tickets in advance, and the tour is absolutely worth it.

At any time of day, we will struggle to find the front gates of Buckingham Palace empty of visitors. The exclusive building is adored by many, and while they cannot grant us access to their Majesty’s thrones, visiting the Queen’s Gallery and the Royal Mews will get us close and will technically take us inside the grounds. The Queen’s Gallery, though small, holds a great amount of history inside its walls. At the top of a split staircase, collect an audio guide and head through a small door in the corner. The exhibition on display during our visit to the museum was The First Georgians. We explored works of art, letters, maps and military plans from the 1700s. Historical weapons, delicate porcelain crockery, impractical yet regal furniture all told the stories of life as a monarch during this era, along-side jewellery, personal artefacts, and Prince Frederick’s elaborate dining setting. After delving deep into history, jump back in time and see how parts of the Palace are run today by visiting the Royal Mews. The working department of the Royal household lets us get a peek at the traditional coaches and cars that have been used for centuries to transport Monarch after Monarch.

One of many good part about visiting London especially Westminster. The palace is the celebration centre for state occasions and royal hospitality. It is a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and/or mourning. Built in 1703 but have to say I like the old name "Buckingham house" however still looks good for an old building

Our arrival to Buckingham Palace was by foot, taking a walk through Hyde Park. Arrived just in time to see the gates opening for officials to leave. Soldiers were as normal shouting commands every so often. Quite busy as expected during school holidays and the atmosphere was lively. We soon got our photos and and headed down birdcage walk towards Westminster.

Very important place to visit, an icon of this city. To see the guards change parade, come 30 minutes before and get a good spot. The place is very close to the park so it is nice to walk around and see the building from different angles. We had a very nice time, as you can see in the pictures. Go to the website to know the Change of Guards dates. I very much recommend.

Fantastic worth while place to visit. We visited the State Rooms and Gardens, but were let down by travelling across London to get there - no Toilets found, arrived to go on the tour, No Toilets available untill after the tour in the gardens. Come on Queen, The Government and Councils, why is our Country the laughing stock of the World - and is classed as third world, compared to Japan and other countries. It was a very hot day, and we are all meant to be sensible, and drink to stay healthy but no Toilets available - I ask you !!!

Buckingham Palace is truly one of the most popular tourist destinations in London, and obviously for a very good reason. It's the official residence of the British monarchy (the queen), and it's absolutely massive and beautify built. I was really impressed with how well-kept everything was and how organized everything is. The gardens are so beautiful, and there's so much history inside and outside the palace. The Changing of the Guard ceremony was so beautiful and thousands of people were outside watching the ceremony. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in London, it's a must see.

The Buckingham Palace is a several hiur tour. You can spend a few hours walking around the gardens and the park nearby. Then, you can stay and view the guard change. Finally, take your time to go inside and stay 1-2h there as you will not be able to take pictures of the place. Nevertheless, very recommended!

Buckingham is a nice place to visit, especially when you come in early June. The Queen's official birthday celebration (also known as Trooping the Colour) is really a fantastic crowded event. It will take whole day and worth your time. The streets are lined with royal subjects waving flags, Members of the Royal Family ride on horseback and in carriages, RAF jets fly over your heads. Prior to the Queen's Birthday Parade there are two full dress rehearsals. The first rehearsal known as 'The Major General's Review' takes place two weeks before the actual Birthday Parade. 'The Colonel's Review' takes place the week prior to 'The Queen's Birthday Parade'.If you are Enochlophobia ( Yes, there will be hundredsof horses, thousands of soldiers, and tens of thousands of visitors ), you can use the a rehearsal. You will see almost the same scene except the crowds and the royal family If you can secure a ticket before the event, congratulation. Otherwise, you need to stand with the crowds along The Mall. To secure a good vista point, you may want to arrive the palace couple of hours before the event. The best location is the place around the Victoria Memorial. The wait won't be that boring. There are people coming from every corner of the world. I happened to have a chat with a guy from the same city. It is fun. Restrooms and refreshments can be found in St James's Park. Believe me, it is more crowded than the front of the Palace.

Never knew you could rate this palace online. Phenomenal place, unlike Aziz Coaches who don't care about their customers, there was a time I've given them an honest review they decided to drown my review with false 5 star ratings, minutes after minutes (attempt to hide my review). If you look closely to their 5 star ratings you'll see no other company was reviewed before. I've never in my life come across a professional service that does this. Strangest service.

Been here two times only to watch “ Guard Ceremony”. It’s very interesting and attractive attractions and the palace itself is very beautiful. Changing Guard Ceremony take place everyday ( summer time ) start at 11 am, if you want to see clearly make sure you came at least 40 minutes earlier because it’s always jam packed with people. Worth a visit at least once if you’re around. Note: When the Guard Ceremony take place, it always crowded. Beware of your belonging, be careful with your backpack. A police just warned us, “Pickpockets around!”

Make sure to read the black ground sign/plate explaining the landmarks. There is a parade of horses coming through at some point. Also you might want to catch the change of guards (however nothing like the Greek experience for example, where you can get relatively close to a guard, here the guards are inside the gate).

Felt very secure, at first I felt uneasy from the tonnes and tonnes of police officers everywhere however was at ease. One even very funny officer making jokes. The changing of the guards was amazing to witness with my own eyes. Big tradition, and all for free. Ofcourse we were not the other tourists there and being rubbed, pushed and pulled by lots of other "keen" tourists wasn't a great experience, doesn't take away from how great the atmosphere was there. Pictures don't show how good it is to see something that everyone knows happens however not many actually go to witness.

Must visit place in London. Easily accessible through London underground Green Park station.. Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of the UK’s sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. Although in use for the many official events and receptions held by The Queen, the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every summer.

First time seeing Buckingham Palace and what an impressive place, unfortunately changing of the guard doesn't happen everyday but we did get to see the horse guards which was a bonus. Will return and do the tour of the Palace one day.

The Buckingham Palace is a beautiful edifice. It looks amazing from the exterior and definitely packs a lot of English history within its walls. It’s visited by thousands (maybe millions) of tourists annually. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see it’s inside. I hope that happens soon

One of the most powerful experiences I have had in London is a visit to Buckingham Palace Gardens. The experience is very exciting, knowing that this is an active palace and on the benches I sit Her Majesty also sat. Everything is so recycled pleasant and clean, a very exciting experience. Recommends trying to get tickets. The entrance to the garden is through The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace (UK: /ˈbʌkɪŋəm/)[1] is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom.[a][2] Located in the City of Westminster, the palace is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality. It has been a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and mourning.

A must to visit when coming to London. We went to see the royal changing of guards.. Got off Green park tube station and the walk from the tube through green park is scenic. There is a lot of police security around. But they are very polite and friendly. The changing guards ceremony was nice along with the marching band. The entire ceremony took around 30 mins

Went there to see the change of guard. It was amazing, the band even played “Into the Unknown” for the kids around. You can get s really nice view of the whole event from the stairs the Queen Victoria Memorial. The only downside is that it’s very windy during the winter, so it’s worth it to wear a thick coat.

Visited the state rooms. Absolutely beautiful! The tour was a media guided tour which gave a lot of information and a history of certain items. Attention to detail in every room truely is amazing. I had afternoon tea in the garden after and the cakes were delicious, my son had ice-cream which he said was so good. There are a few kids activities to do after the tour which I thought was a really nice touch. Huge gift shop too! Would certainly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Buckingham Palace is a truly remarkable destination that left me awe-inspired. As I approached the grand gates, the sheer magnitude and elegance of the palace took my breath away. The iconic Changing of the Guard ceremony added a touch of grandeur and tradition to my visit. Inside, the opulent State Rooms showcased the palace's rich history and exquisite craftsmanship. The sense of grandeur and royalty lingered in every room. The meticulously maintained gardens were a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. Standing in front of this architectural masterpiece, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of awe and appreciation for the British monarchy. Buckingham Palace is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a glimpse into regal splendor.

it's amazing ¡¡ I didn't need to wait, not many ppl (maybe because it's raining) I love the palace, so big. unfortunately, I can't go in today (it's closed). I would like to take photos with the guards but I can't as it's closed. Would love to visit again, but I will make sure I check the time that I can go in next time. (I need a toilet while visiting it, But I Can't find a toilet, so I need to go to a Cafe nearby.)

Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British sovereign since Queen Victoria and her brood took up residence in 1837, has had a rather checkered career as a Royal residence. It was so unloved at one point that it was offered to the nation as a temporary House of Parliament. But today it's one of the most iconic attractions in all of the United Kingdom. Tourist experiences at Buckingham Palace can range from a casual viewing of the Changing of the Guards to a tour of the interior of the palatial complex. I visit with my wife..

We did not go inside the palace, we went outside and watched the entertaining march of the palace soldiers. It gets very crowded so go there early to secure a place so you can see through the gate what is happening inside. The store had some nice souvenirs but a little pricey.

There is a lot of hype around going to Buckingham Palace. The trick is to get there early and get in a designated area close to gates. Sit back and enjoy the show. If it's raining, there will be no music. So watch the area once they open it up you mine as well leave.

We lucked it and rocked up when the changing of the guard was happening. It was cool to see but there were a lot of people. The palace itself is kind of plain compared to other palaces in Europe. The statue at the front and the gates were the fanciest parts. Still glad I have seen it and the famous balcony

It's always crowded. Biggest tourist attraction. So be prepared . Of course it's a magnanimous palace, made from the money obtained from all the British colonies. You can see the gates dedicated to these colonies that gave money, except for NZ, Brits simply forgot about them. Anyhow, if u r in London, it's a must visit

I went twice. The first day was when the guards were not changing. i could take pictures of the guards and the details on the gate like the unicorn. i also could walk freely around the Victoria statue. on the second day I arrived 30 minutes before the guards changed. There was no room to get any where near the gate nor the Victoria statue. i found a place next to the left road (left if you are facing the castle). There i had a great view of the band and guards marching towards the castle. But i could not see anything going on while guards were changing. I waited and saw the band and guards march away. If you go don’t bring any suit cases the guards were turning people away with rolling suit cases. Also beware of pick pockets in the crush of the crowds.

Fascinating to still see the guards in their grey uniforms in their sentry boxes. Wait long enough and they take a brief march. An amazing part of London and totally free to view from the road.

(Translated by Google) The palace was originally called Buckingham House (after its owner, the Duke of Buckingham) and was built in 1703. At the request of King George IV. architect Nash rebuilt the building so that it could be considered a royal residence, but only Queen Victoria declared the castle the official residence of the family. The building did not acquire its current appearance until 1913. Until recently, only a select few looked inside, whom the queen invited to a garden party. The palace used to be closed to the public. The great news for tourists, however, is that the building has been open for tours since 1993 during the Queen's holiday (August and September). The decision to open the state chambers was made so that the proceeds of the entrance fee could be used to rebuild Winsdor Castle after the devastating 1992 fire.

The principal London residence of the British monarchy since the time of Queen Victoria. King George III bought Buckingham House, a mansion alongside St. James’s Park, in 1761 as a convenient London home for his family. In 1826, his successor, George IV, ordered architect John Nash to expand the building into a royal palace. The first monarch to occupy the new palace was Queen Victoria, after her accession in 1837. One palace, many styles. The building has undergone many changes over time. Marble Arch, which now stands alongside Hyde Park, was originally a grand entrance to the palace courtyard. The eastern facade, with its famous balcony where the royal family appears on occasions such as weddings, did not take its current form until the early 20th century. The interior revels in a mix of styles, from Nash-designed rooms in the French Neo-Classical style to the Belle Epoque cream-and-gold decor favored by Edward VII. The state rooms are open to tourists, but the palace still serves as a royal residence, an administrative building, and a venue for official ceremonies and banquets.

Amazing and also impressive to see. It is amazing how much history is behind these walls and royalty behind it. The secret world of the royal family and the history it has seen. The stonework is impressive and the surrounding area was very stunning. Many tourists so taking a photo is very hard of the actual palace. Also at the time I was there there were a few trucks blocking off entrance so no good photos were taken but added a few for those to enjoy and appreciate. A must visit if visiting London as it is located fairly close to everything.

The nearest Tube station to Buckingham Palace is Green Park Tube Station. It is a 10 minute walk through Green Park. To see the changing of the guards which take place daily at 11am, one needs to be there about an hour earlier. Buckingham Palace is open to the public to view the State Rooms, 19 in total. It is only open from end of July to early October. Entry costs £30 per person. The famous balcony where the Royals stand during state occasions is not as high as I have expected.

Buckingham Palace is something you must see if you’re in London. I would definitely recommend buying tickets. There will be a queue to get in and you cannot take pictures inside the Palace. The interior was impressive and the gardens were beautiful. I would recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as the companions we were with complained almost the whole trip. We had tea on the back garden area. It was very crowded. I’m not sure this is something you must do as there are plenty of other options in London. If you’re going to see the changing of the guards arrive early so you can get a good view. Again, our English companions were not interested in walking much or showing us a good time. Needless to say, we do not even talk to these people anymore. We would have rather been by ourselves and explored this alone. We would have had a better time.

Buckingham Palace truly embodies the grandeur and elegance associated with the British monarchy. As a historical landmark and a symbol of the United Kingdom, it exceeded all my expectations. My visit to this iconic palace was an unforgettable experience. The moment I approached the palace gates, I was in awe of its architectural beauty and the regal atmosphere that enveloped the entire vicinity. The sprawling gardens, immaculately maintained, added to the enchanting ambiance. The Changing of the Guard ceremony was a highlight of my visit; witnessing the precision and pageantry left me feeling like I had stepped back in time. Visiting Buckingham Palace is a must-do when in London. The combination of its historical significance, breathtaking architecture, and the chance to witness royal traditions firsthand make it an exceptional attraction. It truly is a gem in the heart of London, and I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary.

We just walked around the outside of the palace. It was okay. We got to see the changing of the guards and that was okay as well. I did enjoy seeing all the people gathered enjoying themselves and being in awe of the palace. I also enjoyed all the children laughing and being at play. The atmosphere is very nice here.

Our visit to Buckimgan Palace impressed us, especially the changing of the guard. We also enjoyed the beautiful gardens around the palace. Inside you can see the magnificence and splendor of the Royal family. Each hall reveals the majesty of the Queen and is truly worth a visit.

I liked it as this was my first ever visit. I have wanted to visit to say I have been there but not really something I have any interest in. But a great place to visit with lots to see around the area and some very big fish in the pond opposite. It's one of those places that is a must to visit.

I went for a tour in 2019 and it was great! We saw much more of the palace than I'd thought we'd get to see and the process of getting in there was very seamless. The gardens out back were so beautiful, it's definitely worth checking those out while on the tour since you can't tour there all year round.

Such an amazing place! So glad I got to see the changing of the guard in person! Everyone should get to experience this at least once!! We got there early and were able to stand up against the fence on the right side of the palace, perfect spot!!! We got to see everything!!! The band and some of the guards eventually walked up close to our side and got some great pictures and videos! If you are in the area you need to check it out!!

Worth a visit - recommend stopping by on a mint bike or the like as it lets you explore the surrounding parks a lot quicker without missing much. For any New Zealanders visiting - pay close attention to the lion statues out the front of the palace. Was a gift from us kiwis!

Enjoyed my visit here while I was waiting for my coach. I didn't enter the building, just veiwed it from the outside. A bit more information about the Palace would have been nice. Maybe on some boards outside.

A must-see destination if you are visiting London. Get there at least an hour early if you want a good vantage point to watch and photograph the changing of the guard. The huge statue of Queen Victoria is also very cool!

There’s a reason why Buckingham palace is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. My brother and I were on a jog and were awestruck at the stunning edifice. To top it off we happened by just as the royal guards were beginning their march. A little busy but it was a holy experience.

Did the State Rooms visit. Tickets sell out fast and I believe the Palace only opens a few months around summer so if you are thinking about it, don't hesitate. Its around 13 rooms to walk through and a couple of the rooms have important art pieces by Canaletto and other artists. Tour ends in the garden.

Beautiful palace. You are not allowed to take pictures though, only in the garden is allowed. Buy your tickets in advance (I bought mine 1 month in advance). The tour takes about 2 hrs. They have a Cafe and ice cream shop at the end of the tour. The gift shop offers beautiful souvenirs.

I went here to see the Changing of the Guards Ceremony, which happens at 10:45AM daily. I would recommend getting there a little earlier to find a viewing spot. The palace itself is quite breathtaking and definitely worth seeing while visiting London.

I don't think there has been a time to be in London and to don't pass by the Buckingham Palace. It's a nice hang around area and such a staple landmark for tourists. It's surely worth a visit.

The change of guard ceremony draws an immense crowd, but witnessing the spectacle is truly worthwhile. It is advisable to arrive early to secure a favorable vantage point for viewing. The magnificent structure is awe-inspiring, adorned with grand, spacious gates that exude beauty.

This is the most recognised place in UK. A must visit for visitors. Book the palace visit online well in advance. You can take a few pictures outside and the surrounding gardens before the visit inside. There is no photo’s allowed inside which makes no sense. We visited the state rooms which was a site to behold. So much artwork, furniture, figurines etc are inside. Would have been great for our memories if we were allowed to take photos. After the visit finishes you can have a coffee in their garden cafe or visit the gift shop where you can donate more money to the royal family. The walk back takes you through the gardens which are well maintained. Apparently more than 800 staff work in the palace.

Beautiful palace and grounds. Fun to see the changing of the guard, though for a good view you'll need to get there probably an hour or more ahead of time. Inside tours were closed when we went. But still a great place to visit for Anglophiles.

Missed out on guard change but overall the place is full of sculptures and the palace is also good but not spectacular. There is a royal park next to the palace and it is very well maintained. Overall a decent experience.

It is the palace where the king or queen of the United Kingom lives. It is a beautiful building. It is covered with steel grills. It is having a beautiful park outside. A huge space is outside the building where people come to see the building and enjoy. The park is also very beautiful.

Had a walk around the Palace walls around the back, lovely looking hotels and buildings. Not many people around it was about 7pm Googled hotels and prices of which we're a pretty penny or two. Good experience!

If you like UK history, then Buckingham Palace should be in your itinerary. Take the same opportunity to enjoy the Green Park beside it. Walk down to Victoria Station nearby and enjoy some good eat at a good rate.

Changing of The King's Guard, is the most beautiful practice/routine I have ever seen. Thankfully, I was just passing by, I felt I am super lucky. The park is beautiful too. Enjoy.

Take a walk through history. We approached through St James Park, which was beautiful. It’s always a fun stop and allows me to reflect on recent events of the English Monarchy.

Great architecture and the old woman that lived here was polite and welcoming. You should be aware that her son (now King) can come across as abrupt and rude but as long as you avoid his wife you should be just fine. Security is mediocre at best and widely reported in the media for failings.

Impressive palace, not a lot of people and you can take amazing pictures outside. Rain as usual. Police always around warning you about pick pockets. Be careful.

a must see attraction! I recommend either using the underground or the big bus tours to get around in London because you do a lot of walking and the transport really helps to just take a quick break to relax the legs.

Buckingham Palace Garden Located in: Buckingham Palace and Buckingham Palace are just a short walk away from The Trafalgar Square. Where you can meet green parrots and friendly pigeons and squirrels. There is a cozy cafe in the Park with access to toilets. They offer really tasty food and drinks there. There is a very friendly atmosphere and customer service. There is also a playground and picnic area on site, perfect for spending time with family and friends during the summer or even alone.

Buckingham Palace, London, UK Buckingham Palace isn't just a landmark; it's a living, breathing symbol of British history and grandeur. Stepping through its gates is like stepping into a fairytale, where gilded balconies whisper of royal gossip and manicured gardens burst with vibrant blooms fit for a queen. The Setting: The first thing that strikes you is the sheer scale of the place. It's a sprawling, neoclassical masterpiece, adorned with intricate ironwork and topped with a majestic dome. The iconic white facade gleams under the London sun, and the golden gates at the entrance seem to promise adventures beyond compare. A Peek into Royal Life: The State Rooms are where the magic truly comes alive. Each room is a treasure trove of opulent decor, adorned with priceless paintings, glittering chandeliers, and antique furniture fit for royalty. You can almost hear the echoes of grand balls and whispered secrets as you wander through, imagining yourself a guest at a royal soiree. No visit to Buckingham Palace is complete without witnessing the Changing of the Guard ceremony. The pomp and pageantry of the red-coated soldiers, the rhythmic clanging of drums, and the precision of their movements are a sight to behold. It's a powerful reminder of the palace's role as the heart of the British monarchy. Beyond the Grandiosity: But Buckingham Palace is more than just gilded cages and ceremonial guards. It's also a home, a workplace, and a symbol of national pride. The Queen's Gallery showcases stunning exhibitions of art and royal artifacts, while the Royal Mews houses the magnificent carriages used for state occasions. You can even wander through the expansive gardens, a haven of tranquility amidst the bustling city. A Few Pointers: Tickets for the State Rooms and the Changing of the Guard ceremony sell out quickly, so book in advance. Out of respect for the royal residence, smart casual attire is recommended. Buckingham Palace is a popular tourist destination, so be prepared for throngs of people, especially during peak season. There's so much to see and do, so dedicate a good few hours to your visit.
