We came here without looking at all the reviews. It is set in a nice place (Plaça Reial). Firstly, for drinks we had beers and it was okay, expected the price to be a bit more for this location (around 5-6 €). White Sangria only had lemon from fruits, and the wine used was not the best. Secondly, we ordered the food. We took calamari, nachos, steak, potatoes and so on. The only edible thing were the nachos and this is the only thing I can recommend here. They are also on the pricey part (around 12€), but you get a nice portion for one person. But lets be real, making this is the easiest thing ever so it is hard to screw up. We thought the same about the calamari too, since its just frying them right? However, the calamari were fried in an oil who knows how old, since that's how it tasted. Basically uneatable. The steak was passable, but for 15€ you would expect more. Potatoes were also okay, but nothing special. The servers were nothing special, came to pick up the order without any special interaction. But I can't say anyone was rude, or that we waited too long like in other reviews. Not connected to the restaurant, but you have a lot of scammy people coming up to you on this location, while you eat, to sell you things. And let me tell you, it is really annoying. Maybe it is different during the day, we went at night. All in all, nice to stop for a quick (pricey) drink (or getting nachos), but otherwise I would stay away and go to other places with better food and without being bothered by someone every minute.

We enjoyed our dinner at Brewery Cervecería Colom very much. Indeed the prices may be a little high, but considering that it is located in a very busy location, we were okay with that. Everything that we tried was tasty and the service was great.

Great spot! Stopped here to grab some drinks and small plates the first night of our stay. Reasonably priced for sitting outside with a great view of the activity happening in the plaça on a Saturday evening - friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Beer, wine, 4 well sized plates for two people came out to €40 - which was reasonable compared to other prices in the area - and to what we are accustomed to back home.

Good break time here in the middle of walking on Barcelona.

Really nice place. The location couldn’t be any better and the staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended the tuna tartare and it was delicious! Bravas were also really tasty. I would recommend this place for some drinks and tapas

Went two consecutive afternoons. Returned the second afternoon because the food I had the first day was so good. After being totally ignored by wait staff on the second afternoon I left after 15 minutes with no service at all

Lovely - excellent food Unfortunately waiter/ess not observant enough, I think. Hard to catch their attention- maybe because of the headphones ? All in all we had a lovely experience 👍👍👍👍

We only had few drinks. Waiter who served us was fine and he brought our drinks fast. Drinks are expensive: Softdrink or can-coke cost 3 euro or more. I don't think it's an ideal place to get a quick bite.

The service was quick and very good. Food was delicious and nice cold beer.

Sat down here and the waiter literally threw the menu at us. Then we couldn’t decide on anything after a minute or so he came back and told us we had to leave. By far the worst service received in Spain, I am shocked that any establishment treats customers this way.

Worst service ever. Ordered a tuna sandwich and they literally put the tuna straight out of the can into the bread. Nothing else was added. Do not come here unless you want to be stollen.

Expensive, rude waiters, made a fuss over splitting a bill, we asked for bravas, said they didn't have it since the frier was broken and just walked off without offering alternatives...

Great place for a fast coffee and beer. Do not expect tasty food in this area.

Lovely setting and we ate all the food that we ordered, we couldn’t eat the calamari as it was squashed and mushy, obviously frozen or old, we asked to remove it from the bill and they flat out refused, telling us it was the “Spanish style” and “I’m the only one who complained” we are still offering to pay the whole bill and supporting your business, do not go here, they do not know how to do customer service or food.

Food and service weren't very good. It's cheap though like $5. Go to another place in the area with higher reviews

I don't get the bad reviews here at all. We came here twice in our 4 day trip. First time for tapas and drinks, second time for sangria. This did the best sangria we'd had in any restaurant and we had a lot of sangria! First time we ordered tapas, their tomato bread was lovely. Sandwiches delicious in a crispy bread. Price was very reasonable, other places in the square we're double the cost. We ordered 3 drinks, 6 tapas and a sandwich which was €43. We sat here for a few hours taking in the beautiful views and people watching. Will return again.
