I had booked 2 rooms here for 24 Nov fromMMT. We checked in advance by 6.30am where in the receptionist welcomed us with a smiling face and offered the rooms. Though the building is quite old, they have kept it neat. Comfortable and decent stay which is very near to the memorial entry and beaches. There is no restaurant here currently but have good restaurants in walkable distance (The curry hotel👌). We actually checked out at 11.00am next day but they never asked for any extra charges. Very humble staff. Keep it up!!👍☺️ They will also help in arranging taxi's for sight seeing as well. Big highlight is on terrace we can enjoy the sunrise very well. I suggest this for all. Cheers👍

I booked deluxe sea facing and found neither sea facing nor sea view. I can see only other hotel building from balcony. Room is small, bathroom is very small, balcony is also very small. Only towel and one soap is provided, nothing else. I tried their restaurant food, Its not good. I ordered 4 water bottle but they give 2 only and charged for 4 bottle. You have to pay immediately whatever you order. Beach is not nearby, you have to walk long but there is short path around small local houses, you need help from local people to reach beach. Local people here are very helpful.

Avoid this place. Not a good place to stay. Old & unmaintained hotel. You see those 5 star review all are fake. They must have bought fake review. If you stayed there once, you won't go there again. When I went there, the room were dirty & the manger lady didn't care. Avoid this place at any cost.

I have been to this place with my family on 30-December. I booked through make my trip. Though it was rush time we were fortunate to get the deluxe rooms. Deluxe rooms are sea facing and if possible try to get a room on the top floor which will have a good view of the sea. Even in the first floor we got a decent view. The service offered were too good, as they were too quick in resolving our concerns. We had an issue with the set top box in the room which they attended immediately and resolved by replacing the box itself. They have a restaurant also from which we haven’t tried. The most important factor is the location of the hotel, it is located at the city center and is only walkable distance to the major attractions like pier, Vivekananda rock memorial boating, Kanyakumari Devi temple and the Gandhi memorial.

We had a nightmare experience with the hotel stay and they extorted huge amount of money from us. One of us dropped room key in the elevator gap and the management took this as an opportunity to extract money from us, rather than just helping us with the manual opening key of the lift in order to collect the key from the basement of the lift. They extorted huge money without a receipt.

Costly.. No bill provided. They are collecting different amount from different customers. Bathroom closets are not clean.. Also sounds from neighbour rooms are very horrible. They provided interconnect rooms.. Its also very bad.

Was been there for 3 days rooms are so small and there room service didn't work they didn't even provide drinking water. And parking is on road side. Only good thing is they have lift. And don't get fooled by the sea view. Only from one room you can see the sea view.

This is just an ordinary Lodge. No sunrise or sunset view. Good for Just to sleepover.

Some rooms are located such that you can view the sunrise from your bed. And that's the only selling point of this place. They are not as costly as their neighbours, but that shows up in the quality of rooms. It's OK if you need a hole to sleep and bathe. If planning to spend more time in the room, this is not the place. Rooms are small and rundown and in need of repairs,

One of the best places to relax and unwind. Calm facility with excellent facilities, meticulously groomed, and friendly employees who are always willing to assist you. The view from the hotel is the finest part of the stay.

Location is excellent near to temple and Vivekananda Rock. Rooms were good but need repairing, if opting for sea view room kindly ask for 2nd or 3rd floor, No such view from 1st floor where we stayed. Its a budget hotel but don't expect luxury. Staff were good and we also got early check-in.

Hotel is very near to beach, sunset and sun rise points and also to the temple . Have maintained clean and hygiene. Staff is very good and friendly. We reached bit a late, but staff himself called to check where we have reached and to inform that their restaurant will be closed and dinner will not be served. I liked this hotel and recommend for family.

The hotel room was sufficient enough to accommodate 2 persons. Opting for Additional person accommodation will find difficulty in space for sleeping. The toilet and bathroom is okay. Managed to use without issues. The space in bathroom is too small and difficult for fatty persons. The room service is not good. Avoid it. The room service gave us cups and flasks which was smelly and not clean enough. We avoided taking food in the restaurant or from the room service due to the cleanliness issue. Overall, this place is just a quick night stay worth to see sunset and/or a sunrise.

The hotel is really near the beach, walkable distance, and the room and the room service was really good. The staff was really co-operative and helped us through our trip.

Stay wise, it is good and situated near to beach, easily reachable to vivekanda rock. Room was quite clean and neat with a balcony and attached bathroom.. They provide bathroom amenities. Food wise, really disappointed for us. Over rated for food which was not good in taste.... We ordered a clear chicken soup it was taste like chicken added in Kerala rassam..

Stayed here on my vacation with family. We booked non ac room since monsoon. But for their promotion to AC room they didn't fix regulator for fan and beyond the fan is rotating very slow.

I booked 2 rooms with a sea view. - Rooms were clean, - Location is on walkable distance to marketplace and all the points - Staff was polite - they provided checkin quickly so we can run for sunset view - provided hot water only 5am to 10am. - sea view was good for one corner room. - complimentary water bottles were not available
