This market leaves you room in which to walk and shop. The parking is bountiful. Less fear of being accosted here.

Huge market with lots of vendors. The shops are grouped by type. So you can look astound an area for souvenirs and then find toys and then find baked goods or clothes. Be sure that tourists get higher prices. Make sure you negotiate. Dont be afraid to look at other vendors around the corner selling the same item for less.

Love this market since I loved here, it's great for artisan products (hammocks, wooden ornaments and products, leather goods, etc.), clothing, shoes, typical snacks and foods as well as first products. Totally recommended and it's safe, just watch you bag, always haggle!

Very clean to be a market, you get to buy inside buildings and there is enough variety. Prices are a hit expensive compared to other markets, but the place is worth it. There is parking lots with security members checking on cars, although they are uniformed, I don't know if those are any kind of cooperative work or if it's some kind of entrepreneurial work made by the people, so it's fairly decent!

One of the biggest market in Managua, you can find a bunch of utilities but not quite secure.

Compared to the other markets here is very right to the point, spacious parking and security and a variety of artesanal shops and items, along with several other stores of what you may be looking for from plastic to hardware to drugs store.

It’s pretty safe compared to the other markets but has its similar odors and unsanitary areas. The prices are decent but you can never beat the prices in Mercado Oriental.

Hectic place, but you can many things that you can't find in chain stores. Hussle is the way in this mercado. If you are a foreigner or a native that live in the US please don't short change them, pay what is right. You don't ask for discount at the stores that steal your money like Walmart, so please don't try that with some vendors that are trying to support their families.

The prices are much cheaper than the supermarket. Many spices available at reasonable prices

Still the best place to get them last minute Nicaraguan treats before you head out.
