Na první pohled se jedná o menší hrad na skále. Zdání však klame. Celkové prostory hradu včetně přilehlého kláštera, hřbitova a restaurace jsou solidně velké. Než se však dostanete na místo, je třeba zdolat pěkný kopec. Část tohoto kopce můžete zdolat za pomoci vláčku, který jezdí od přilehlého vlakového nádraží. V pokladně pod hradem si můžete vzít plánek místa s českými popisky (vřele doporučuji - je zde více informací, než jen základní popisky). V samotných prostorách hradu se můžete pohybovat volně. Celý komplex je velmi dobře zabezpečený zábradlím. Milovníky krajiny potěší zajímavé pohledy po okolí z několika vyhlídek. Historiky zase zaujmou zajímavé informace a popisky k dobovým věcem (přístroje, nástroje, knihy, historie místa i okolí, výzdoba, apod.). I přes vyšší počet lidí, který se zde často vyskytuje, návštěvu doporučuji. Prostor má celkově moc pěknou atmosféru a jisté kouzlo.

It's an amazing creation in the nature. There is no word to describe it! 2hrs aren't enough to discover each of beauty! A place certainly to see!

Der Eintritt ist nicht günstig. Wir hatten dafür aber auch einen sehr schönen Nachmittag auf diesem Felsen hoch über dem Ort. Burg- und Klosterruine und der romantische, kleine Bergfriedhof waren zu besichtigen, dazu immer wieder tolle Aussichten und einiges an Kletterei über Stock und Stein und durch enge Gänge. In der Klosterruine sorgten zwei Musiker für Atmosphäre. Im Berggasthof hat uns das preiswerte gute Essen gefallen.

Its a good place to visit for hiking. You need to buy tickets to enter into the castle. The places around the mountain are really beautiful, especially the parks. You can sit and relax.

Peaceful place to explore. Pleased we took the shuttle bus as it's quite a climb.

Spectacular views! So much to see. There is a restaurant, bathroom access, and gift shop. All information is in Czech and German.

Great place for a walk. Beautiful location on the top of a mountain with amazing views. We were lucky and could enjoy a concert in the ruins of the abby. There is a parking near to the castle, where you can pay with a card.

Beautiful ruins and scenic views! There is quite a lot to see here probably can spend more than 2 hours exploring the area. Also, Before entering the castle area there are also a few trails if one follows the signs.

История средневековья хранит в себе не только романтику о доблестных рыцарях и драконах, прекрасных принцессах и великих сражениях, но и имеет достаточно трагичные и печальные страницы, скорее можно рассуждать о том, что в принципе история тех лет полна ужасных и неописуемых вещей. Кто знает что хранят в себе эти стены, бесчинствовали ли здесь инквизиторы и сколько людей погибло в темных застенках. К сожалению в открытых источниках мало информации об этом месте. Находится в Ойбин - было странно. Его стены красивы и величественны, внутри же он тёмен и прост, отчего порой, в самых закоулках замка становилось немного не по себе. Замок вызывает эмоции, а ведь это главное в путешествии. Поэтому рекомендую, пропускать такое не стоит...

Monumentální zřícenina, určitě si najděte min. 3h na kompletní prozkoumání. WC najdete hned u vstupu a pak v restauraci za hřbitovem. V restauraci nebrali karty, ale šlo platit korunami. Vstupné se kartou dá platit. Stejně tak parkoviště pod hradem, platba kartou ok.

Great day with strolling around the ruins. Great views and if you arrive early morning you can avoid the crowds.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Eine gut gestaltete Ausstellung und eine gute Sicht auf die Umgebung. Es gibt viel zu entdecken und viele schöne Motive. Hier lebt die Romantik. Auch der Bergfriedhof ist eine Seltenheit und ein feiner Platz zum nachdenken.

Polecam przyjechać zaraz po otwarciu, zyskujemy spokój z parkingiem, zero kolejek, i spokojne zwiedzanie. Ceny za parking i za wejście całkowicie odpowiednie. Toaleta znajduje się zaraz przy wejściu. W każdym razie miejsce ma coś w sobie i polecam zwiedzenie go i okolic.

Samochód można zostawić na parkplatz am Oybin. Cena za auto 3 euro za 4 godziny co w zupełności starczy by zwiedzić te wspaniałe ruiny. Z tego parkingu jest 5-10 minut pieszo do klasztoru a jest to miejsce zdecydowanie warte odwiedzenia. Cena za bilet dla dorosłych od listopada do marca to 5 euro a w sezonie 8 euro. Zwiedzenie powinno zająć około 2 godzin.

Wunderschön auch die Natur ist einfach toll die Burg und das Kloster ist auch sehr groß.

Beautiful place to visit. There are many spots where you can visit within the castle. View from each spot is just magnificent

Sight of the year. We were here in November, 0°C and fog and I loved it. The church is just unbelievable and the tower is super high. Entrance fee 6€, free toilets at the entrance

I was really really surprised when I saw the castle and especially the dome. It is simply amazing. The castle is quite large and you shall consider two hours at least for the visit. Entrance for family is € 17. Parking for 4 hours € 3.

A really gorgeous place, the view you get from the ruins is picturesque as are the ruins themselves but I wish the organisation of sightseeing was a tad better.

The old ruins of the castle and monastery of Oybin is a very famous and a historic place in this region. A lot of painters painted this place. One of them was Gustav David Friedrichs. You can also use an old historic train with a steam machine to come to Oybin. From the station you will find some alternative paths to the Oybin castle.
