I would give Mamas Cuisine 10 stars if I could for their delicious and authentic Somalian cuisines. My favourite is the lamb shank with rice but I recommend you ask if they have any goat shoulder on the menu that day. The staff always welcome me with a smile. I think the prices are value for money considering the big serving of food you get. The place has a homely atmosphere and is simple and clean. They're conveniently open until 11pm for a late meal.

Absolutely love the food there, the lamb shank so tender and full of exotic flavours, all the flavours balanced so well together, so do the rice and pasta. Definitely will go back when they offer Somalian sweets. They don't make sweets recently. And the lady who cooks the food is very nice as well.

Had a delicious salad and my meal was served with a refreshing hibiscus drink. The shakshuka eggs weren't what I were expecting however. I was after the Mediterranean style.. But mine were served similar to scrambled. Still a great restaurant, I'd definitely go back and try a main next time :)

What a feast!! Absolutely loved the offerings from Mama's cuisine! We had a selection of pasta, rice, barramundi, lamb and salmon and everything was fantastic. My favourite was the soup and the tea! The service was also relatively quick and extremely attentive. Highly recommend!

The lamb broth served before my main was amazing, then the lamb and pasta was a very generous and delicious serve.spice level was up to me with the green condiment. Very good.

Went here yesterday on a whim - good decision! I asked for chicken & rice - was served very quickly with a veritable feast of flavourful soup, vegetable rice, marinated roast chicken, salad & sweet tea flavoured with cardamom. Generous portion sizes, full of flavour, very kind & fast service. All for $20. Absolutely recommended.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Somali food. Lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and absolutely packed with flavour. Restaurant has a real community vibe to it, was given a pot of Somali tea to go with my meal. Haven’t raved about a restaurant like this in a while. Can’t wait to be back.

The lamb shank is incredible. The meat just falls of the bone. The service and atmosphere also makes it a super cozy place for dinner.

It will be helpful to use short sentences so that Mamma gets you well. Amazing authentic Somalian food served with Mammas love. Spicy!

My family and I each ordered lamb shoulder with rice/pasta and it was so delicious full of flavour! It even came with a side of soup and chilli paste. Was sooo full at the end of the meal. I would 100% recommend.

After seeing such good ratings for Somali food, I expected better. When we walked in we weren't greeted or really acknowledged. For $20 a meal, you can expect to get a MICROWAVED lamb shank and a few chicken pieces at this restaurant. The only reason these guys are getting 2 stars is because I didn't get food poisoning, the rice was tasty and the little kid who took our payment was cute.
