Tourist scam, don’t let the terras in the sun mislead you. 8 euro for a cappuccino is the price here. Can’t imagine what it will cost if you eat food here. Go somewhere else.

Gave 20e note for 1 coffee. Got only 8e change back. I asked for my money back straight away they wouldn't refund me. Do not go to this place at all it will ruin your holiday in Florence.

TERRIBLE we ordered two coffees and two tiny croissants and payed 17 euros . Each croissant was 2,5 € (you will see in the photo how tiny it is) the cappuccino was 4€ and the Americano was 3,5 € in the menu. BUT she charged me 6 € for each one of them cause I asked for a medium size. TOTAL RIP OFF DO NOT VISIT.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My mother and I had cappuccinos there this morning, and both of us were aware of the fact that if you sit down in cafés, you get charged more, so we stood at the bar, but the woman who worked there insisted that we sit down and even said “it’s OK” implying that we would not be charged if we sat down. There were even some Italian students sitting down, so we hesitantly went ahead, but I noticed that she charged the Italians for their coffee before they sat down, but charged us after. They paid €1.30 for their drinks. We paid €12 for ours! Do not go to this establishment; it’s a rip off, and the barista purposefully took advantage of us.

Ordered 2 americanos while browsing at the confectionary not realizing that they cost me 8 euros each. She told me to sit down so I did. Did not give me a receipt so only realized the price after I checked the bill on my phone. Avoid at all costs. Scam

Do not go here if you’re a tourist. I’ve been to coffee bars in Rome and Florence so I had a certain expectation on how to order coffee. We got two small lattes to drink standing. She didn’t make fresh espresso, instead she made some nasty tasting instant coffee and poured milk over it. When we asked for water she asked how many, instead of giving us both a glass of water which is what I came to expect in several bars in Rome and Florence. Incidentally, we saw some other guests come in who spoke Italian and they got fresh espresso. I don’t understand why I’d get a nasty coffee just because I’m a tourist. In the end we were charged for the 1 glass of water as well. I don’t recommend this place at all. I’d have rather not had coffee at all.

16 euros for two shaken coffees ... really exaggerated prices, prices much higher than the places under the cathedral. The coffee wasn't great either.

Never sit down. 1 expresso coffee goes from 1,10€ to 3€. Worst coffee I've head in Florence, by the way

The prices aren’t listed anywhere for a reason, because it’s a tourist trap. We asked for four espressos and four croissants and was charged 54 euros. 6 euros just for one espresso! Avoid this place at all costs, unless you don’t mind spending your money.

Classic tourist trap. Went there with an Italian friend before and the prices were very reasonable. However, when I went on my own, the prices were more than double what I had paid with my Italian friend.

Disonesto. Far pagare 11 euro per un cappuccino, un the caldo e due misere brioche quando il prezzo sul menu era intorno ad 1 euro! Un vero Furto! A mai più. Unbelievable Overpriced of 3 euro each drinks! I will never come back! It should be rated -6 like the Overpriced that she add on you coffee.

We were completely ripped off. We were somehow charged 24 Euros for two ice creams. Having ordered the ice cream the vendor who served us said we could have an extra scoop of we would like. We thought he was just being generous and so accepted, but it would seem it was maybe a way of charging is a lot more. Being new to Florence and a bit flustered I didn't quite realize just how much we had paid until we walked away. I checked my payment card details as I couldn't quite believe it. Don't go here!

Charged 8 euro for a coffee. Sly owner insisted I pay after so she left me with little bargaining power after drinking it

Terrible cappuccino I’d be ashamed calling that drink a cappuccino and charging 4 euro for that I don’t know if I ever had such a terrible coffee in Italy. Wow

The orange juice is really freshly pressed and you taste it! But a large one is 9€ for 400ml, expensive but I kind of get it. Iced coffee (frappe) is 8€ and not a lot. The tartes and the cannoli are good, prices up to 4€. I would recommend to drink a coffee (1,10€) or a cappuccino (vegan available, 2,20€), enjoy the flow of people and the view on the bapisterium. Just be aware of the pricing!

Watch out! Bad undrinkable coffee 😫. Very expensive💸 at €6 for a coffee (normal €1.5-2). Sent coffee back and left.

Worst Italian experience ever. The seller kicked us out when we sat down to wait for the coffee. DON'T GO THERE

Avoid at all costs! Tourist trap! The difference between sit-in and take way prices is outrageous, and it is not at all clear that this difference exists in the first place. You order from a reasonably priced menu just to pay almost three times that price upon leaving. It's ridiculous.

First time I write a comment on Google : Please run away and don't go in this cafe, a real tourist trap : different prices are applied and don't match with the menu. We complained when we received the bill, the owner explained the prices are different because we stayed inside : we paid more than twice the prices shown at the entrance ! We paid but made it clear to the owner that it was outrageous and total robbery !

👍👍 The best steak restaurant in Florence. Food was really good. I ordered the set menu of Appetizer, side dishes, mineral water and the steak, and it was worth it! The steak was so good even if I only ate it just like that, but still you can eat it with 3 sauces. Not only the food, I found that the ser...

👍👍 What can I say it’s the best Gelato you can ever try in Italy. I don’t usually go for popular chains and brands but this place is really really good and is up to its reputation. There is usually a line for the gelato, every flavor you chose will be very unique as if it’s the house’s special flavor....

👍👍 We chose the restaurant using Google Maps. It has a nice atmosphere and the service was very nice. The explanations of the different types of meat were very good.
