Disappointing! Considering the menu isn't too wide, I chose to order a quick salad (Bunte Salad). Fortunately I did order a small size, but I couldn't eat more than 2 bites. I did not take a photo because I was having an exam and I was there to eat during the break. The salad was cut up maybe 3 days before, it was very old and full of "salad dressing" which was mainly oil....and a lot of it! The chicken breast that I ordered additionally was also carelessly thrown into a bath of oil and barely had any salt...the only condiment. And the cheese which was also ordered additionally was also sliced maybe days before and was already dried. The plating was disastrous. My salad which I prepare at home in 1 minute from leftovers looks and tastes better! I was very shocked...especially with the price: a total of approx. 12 euros (I don't recall exactly). Better find another place to eat...or at least don't eat salad!

Nice small restaurant full of charm and a menu of authentic Austrian and Swäbian dishes. They have a daily special which was perfect for lunch and a very reasonable price. I had the Schnitzel and Radler for under €12! My partner had a fabulous Herring and the kids had the kids versions. Highly recommended. Really nice. If you are visiting Schwäbisch Hall, which is a must if you are in the area, this would make a great first stop. Chris
