    Update: The company is now taking legal action against this review and is trying to get Google to delete the review. Original review: Stay away from this company! Just don't sign a contract if you ever want to cancel it again! Written notice of termination last summer was sent on time by registered mail, the company simply claims that the letter arrived exactly one day late by chance. The shipment tracking proves me right, the cancellation was received four days before the deadline, but that doesn't matter - countless emails and eight (!!) months later the trouble continues - there can be 5 months between emails from the company. Apparently they need to “hold on” to their customers like this. Perhaps those who report similar experiences here should join forces and take joint action against these business practices.

    I stopped my payments for 3 months during the corona-related closures and then immediately paid again in June. Since I didn't want to give myself the stress, I tried to find an amicable agreement - after 45 minutes on hold, I was granted a 3-month waiver and confirmed that my June payment had also been received. They still didn't let me into the studio - not even when I showed the confirmation letter from SuperFit and my proof of payment. I should please pay again on site and then get the money back. Uh, no... I'll never see the money again in this mess... Since then I have been receiving reminders for the month of June that has already been paid. Since I was no longer allowed into the studio, I gave notice without further ado. Confirmation of cancellation for August 2022. So Superfit cheekily added 6 months to my contract! Now more reminders and debt collection. I hope this store goes bankrupt. I have never experienced such poor customer service - especially during the lockdown, 6 weeks response time to emails. Simply underground! ADDENDUM: Received a request from Google today to confirm this recession. Apparently SuperFit prefers to go against the reviews and try to silence critics rather than cleaning up their own store. Just poor!

    Members are treated like a burden over the phone. Customer-oriented interactions do not seem to be desired. Been a member for 5 years! A pity . Apparently they have too many members and don't want to keep any more. Update: Now they are trying to have the reviews deleted legally. Just embarrassing. Maybe you should invest the money in a professionally competent administration!

    CAUTION! My contract was concluded in October 2020. According to the law to mitigate the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, vouchers must only be accepted if the contract was concluded before March 8, 2020. The Superfit management doesn't understand that and wants to force their vouchers on me. Because of the closure, I withheld the contributions. Now they have commissioned a debt collection company that charges its own fees, which are higher than the studio's actual demand :-) I immediately handed it over to my lawyer. I can only advise everyone not to be intimidated by the business-like chaos of the East Bank Club Fitness Factory and debt collection!!

    I would strongly advise English speaking expats/immigrants/students to stay away from this terrible company. It's easy to sign up, but almost impossible get get out of contracts, even after you leave the city. Despite the smiling white people on the billboards and facebook page, like many German companies, the marketing department has absolutely nothing to do with the actual service they provide. The main thing that people should know, is that the entire business model is based on the fact that most people do not have a lot of cash on hand. So while the monthly fee for the membership is comparatively low, (between 10 and 30€), it is almost impossible to get out of the contracts, (despite clear legal guidelines which they often do not follow), without either suing the company or getting entangled with the sleazy collection agency they use to intimidate people for not paying their inflated and even outright false bills. The employees are not only rude and unprofessional, they also tell gym members flat out lies about their legal rights and try to intimidate people with false information. They're also (illegally) charging people during the corona pandemic and ignoring the plain language of the consumer protection bureau, which has stated multiple times that members are not required to pay during this period. They`ll encourage people to write emails, but completely disregard requests with form letters. This is a horrible institution, and my only wish is that they are bankrupted in the coming months. The dubious business practices of these fast-food-like gym chains, strangle the other gyms out of the market. Stay away. Pay the extra money for a real gym or exercise at home. This company is an absolute nightmare.

    Make sure you have good legal insurance when you sign up for a membership. They do everything in their power to take advantage of members, even when it is not within their legal rights to do so. Many members have to fight like a tiger to get them to uphold the law.

    I keep getting charges from them despite clearly ending my contract 2 years ago! They take forever to respond and do not understand what I am asking. Terrible company. I want them to stop charging me for a service I never renewed. It seems very dishonest of them.

    If I could, I wouldn't give any stars. First the certificate is not recognized and then the contributions are simply collected without any service being provided. Then you get 2 different confirmations of cancellation, etc. I would have been happy to support the studio if, for example, an offer had come through to reduce the contribution or something similar. I'm always willing to talk, but what this company is doing is a disgrace. You should think twice about signing a contract here.

    Because of my bad experience with Super Fit, I will never go to any fitness club in Berlin ever. They receive money from you during Covid-19 although the club is closed. In addition, they will charge you 3 months more even if you cancel your contract. However, these are not their worst features. I contacted them, they did not behave polite and were so aggressive. They even made fun of me because I did not know my birthday according to European date setting system exactly and politely asked them to wait for some seconds so that I could check and be sure. I believe this is not a good reason to make fun of their customers so aggressively. They could stop registering foreigners if these differences are so hard for them to understand.

    I‘ve emailed the address below, but been told it will take from 8-10 weeks to get a response. Meanwhile, the membership I requested be suspended in March - via email - has now rolled over into another year and the Inkasso are giving us firm deadlines to pay something we heavily dispute. #teamdu is BS. Superfit only care about profits and refuse to acknowledge their broken system as long as it delivers them profits.

    Superfit does not honor their end of the contract. My contract commenced in 28.11.18 and I requested via email and letter that it be terminated, as early as April, multiple times, yet it was just renewed as I was charged yesterday. They probably ripped up the letter I sent in August, which was in congruence with the 3 month date. Shiesty behavior. Also folks - if your Gym or Sporting Facility has locked its doors due to government regulations, you are legally dealing with a „Vertragsstörung“ i.e. a disruption of the agreement between you and your provider. In this case you are not obliged to pay the future instalments until the re-opening of the structure and you are legally entitled to stop the layway. This is anyway not to be taken as a termination of the contract itself, because upon its re-opening you would be allowed to enjoy again the services offered by the provider. Should you have also the possibility and/or the desire to help your Gym to overcome the economic pressure resulting by the sudden closure of the structure, whose expenses have the need to be further supported, you can also arrange with the provider to go on on paying as scheduled and in return negotiate in order to to extend your agreed period of membership, without having to pay afterwards for the period the Gym was closed.

    Did not uphold their ends of the contract and totally rely on people to not sue them in court to turn a profit. Sent Inkasso after me for a disputed fee. Disgraceful company.

    I agree with the other users. It's a disgrace what Superfit is doing. Demanding contributions even though the studios are closed. In addition, there are no answered emails and incompetent telephone support employees. Just pathetic. Termination is on the way.

    When I subscribed to this gym, I told them it would only be for a year and I only wanted a 1 year contract because I was not gonna stay in Berlin. I left the country and the gym is harrassing me, asking me to pay for another year because i did not unsubscribe with the ‘Abmeldebestätigung‘ (an official document that confirms that you have deregistered in Germany)? They refused all other official proofs i've provided them. I HIGHLY don't recommend this gym. DISHONEST. Do not trust them.

    Update: Ruling from the German Constitutional Court confirms that member fees during the closures due to Corona must be returned! Y'all run and get your money! Update 01.03.2022 Update Superfit is still deceiving about gym members' rights concerning their membership fees during the lockdowns. On one of the reviews here they recently told someone that they only have 3 of their fake options instead of being entitled to their money back, even though Landgericht Berlin has ruled that this is inaccurate and the statement is misleading. The gym is appealing the ruling. Also, they've had hundreds of reviews removed by their lawyers, so their ratings on google are not accurate. Avoid this place at all costs. Update: Berlin's consumer protection office successfully sued this gym for their conduct during the pandemic. Superfit is appealing, but members who were forced to pay during the pandemic should contact the Berliner Verbraucher Zentrale. Horrible company. Spent two and a half years with them in court for lawsuits related to discriminatory behavior of their employees. Was awarded €1000 by a judge in the end.

    Werdet bloß kein Mitglied bei Superfit. Die versuchen jeden über den Tisch zu ziehen. Ich war ein Mitglied der ersten Stunde in Steglitz und wurde auch während der lockdowns mit Mahnungen und Inkasso Unternehmen von Superfit zugeschüttet. Es gibt keinen Kundenservice. Es gibt absolut kein Entgegenkommen. Die wollen einfach nur an die Kohle der Mitglieder ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste. Es gibt sogar schon vom Verbraucherschutz eine organisierte Sammelklage gegen Superfit. Ich würde minus Sterne geben wenn ich könnte. (Translated by Google) Don't become a member of Superfit.     Ein ganz unterirdisches Geschäftsgebaren bei diesem Unternehmen. Ich war 10 Jahre lang Kunde und habe bis jetzt noch nicht die Rückzahlungen für die geschlossenen Monate erhalten. Ich habe die Verrechnung der 8 Monate mit meinen letzten 3 Monaten Mitgliedschaft vorgeschlagen - absolut kein Entgegenkommen, stattdessen jagen sie einem Inkasso Unternehmen auf den Hals.     Absolut unterirdisches Niveau! Schützt euch selbst - Werdet hier bloß kein Mitglied. Ich war ein über Jahre treu zahlendes Mitglied bei Superfit gewesen und habe mich am Ende, wegen des immer schlechter werdenden Services abgemeldet. Während der coronabedingten Schließungen behielt Superfit meine Beiträge weiter ein, obwohl ich dies nicht wollte. Bei dem Versuch, eine sinnvolle Lösung direkt mit Superfit zwischen Kündigungszeit und meiner Ansprüche zu finden, wurde meine Zeit mit Inkasso Schreiben und abfälligen Telefonaten vergeudet. Behält man Beiträge ein, da Superfit einem Geld schuldet, kommen sofort Schreiben von Inkassounternehmen. Superfit auf der anderen Seite bewegt "keinen Finger" um das einem zustehende Geld auszuzahlen und vertröstet nur. Ein Wille zum Service ist nicht erkennbar. Des Weiteren "bestraft" Superfit regelrecht Kunden, wenn sie kündigen, mit schlechten und abweisenden Antworten.     Der größte Abzocker Verein den es gibt. Wenn man Kündigt, kommt diese angeblich nie an. Dann wird nie ans Telefon gegangen. Dann kommt plötzlich Post vom Inkasso, obwohl nie eine andere Nachricht angekommen ist und alle Zahlungen pünktlich (nachweislich) geleistet wurden. Dann kommen inkompetente Briefe von einem Anwaltsbüro. Wenn man dann selber einen Anwalt einschaltet, läuft auch der nur gegen Wände, da es 0% (NULL%) professionelle Kommunikation gibt. In den Studios hat man auch kein Plan und bestätigt immer nur, das es keine offenen Zahlungen gibt. Und es ist in der Corona Zeit noch schlimmer geworden. TIPP von mir: GEHT ÜBERALL SPORT MACHEN, ABER ZAHLT DORT KEINEN CENT....GEHT ZUR KONKURENZ ODER MACHT WAS ANDERES.

    Unmöglich wie Ihr mit langjährigen Mitgliedern umgeht! Ich habe im Juni eine Rückzahlungsanforderung wegen der Schließzeit Corona beantragt und bis heute nicht mein Geld erhalten! Auf Mails wird nicht reagiert, abbuchen der Monatsbeiträge könnt ihr aber! Neuerdings kommt man auch telefonisch nicht durch, da alles automatisiert ist.
