It is an impressive structure in the middle of town with access to multiple activities (museums, theater). There is always a pretty view to enjoy.

The most visited tourist attractions in Monterey. There are several museums, pathways, and attractions. Also nearby there are a lot of hotels, stores and restaurants.

Beautiful park and plaza, a great concept that needs a little love and caring for. Was somewhat run down. But the palace is worth seeing.

A very vast park. There are several monuments to see and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. The Nuevo Leon Palace sits on the north side of the park while the Municipal building is on the other end. There is plenty to do outside the park as well. Close by is a shopping center and movie theater, & restaurants. El Barrio Antiguo is a great place to take pictures and it's not too far either. Don't forget to take pictures at the MTY letters for your social media!

Great place to come and dine . Preferably in the evening when all the vendors and restaurants are open . The nightly scene is better and can be romantic or to take a nightly walk and enjoy the view.

Beautiful plaza in Monterrey, surrounded by museums and places to eat, right at one of the stops of the Santa Lucia artificial river ride, must stop during a Monterrey visit

We were going to Crentro De Monterrey and Plaza Mexico which is a long shopping strip with many stores, small restaurants, street vendors and live music. I personally enjoy this type of area better than the mall and the prices too.🤑 Our uber dropped us off right across from Macroplaza which was very convenient. I saw a C&A clothing store and I got happy like a kid because I haven't seen C&A for over 30 years. Overall I have always preferred to mingle with the locals no matter where I go.

Very beautiful. MTY sign, nice art, cultural center, fountain, library, important buildings and municipal center. Plus you can find a nice restaurant across the street. You can also cross the river close by, and you can see very nice views from this location. Enjoy the pizza and try to relax for about 2hrs.

Very beatiful place! Still renovating the area. Good to spend time with family over the weekend. Tourist place to explore Monterrey. Close to local food and best place to buy souvenir’s. You can reach to here by walking over the beautiful man made river through the downtown. I personally enjoyed this walk.

Macroplaza is an enormous park located at Monterrey's heart, it's downtown!! Just enormous!! This Macroplaza is on the 4th place between the biggest ones around the world.

If you are looking for a little of the native life this is the place to be. You will see performances, locals selling treats, homemade delicious fruit waters, snacks. Their hand made clothing, dishes. A lot to see and everyone is very pleasant!

my... opinion is ambiguous at best. a. I think it is... let me say, cute, plainly. the boat ride is a bit... disappointing. Brief... and there is not much to enjoy for the price... perhaps, this opinion changes at night when the illumination changes the view drastically. albiet... the boat gets annoyingly packed. AND... at night it gest uncomfortable insecure. The museums... well, not espectacular ! The macro plaza... it is only a huge esplanade with little to offer to the eye. It is... just that, an esplanade to walk Nd walk around. the flea market stands... well, well, well, ... (three dots) perhaps... at night, in terms of visual attraction to photography 📸, it changes a bit. Yet... at some points it is i secure.

It claims to be one of the largest plazas in Latin America and showcases some of the main buildings in the city. I didn’t feel very safe in some areas, though.

Historical landmark surrounded by government buildings, offices . A nice stroll that leads to Palacio del Gobernador. There are vendors selling souvenirs, food/snacks. Occasionally, some street performers trying to make a living.

The boat tour was great. A little tight packed, but fun, especially if you ride back late enough to sew the lights turned on.

An historical plaza in downtown Monterrey. It is a beautiful place to take a walk. Parks, sculptures, fountains and cultural venues can be found here. Many people set up shop, around this large plaza, and sell snacks and beverages. Families and couples frequent this place.

Very Spanish colonial structure in a wonderful old world plaza. And love start vendors selling local fruits and crickets/grasshoppers in touch salty flavor. I wish some vendors would take dollar though. Overall a must place to visit

Nice grean area surrounding the hotel area. Great for a stroll. There's restaurants nearby, shopping stores, the santa lucia river walk is right there. You have several tables of vendors selling souvenirs, jewelry and other items. I really enjoyed the stroll, sat and eat a snow cone and enjoyed the evening

Awesome place... Feel the soul of the ancient city here, people are relaxed... The food is nice, the products in the marketplace are genuine Mexican. If you've got the chance support the local craftsmen, they could use it.

Nice starting point if you want to see this city. We walked around the plaza and followed the water cannel all the way to the park (Parque Fundidora). It took about 2 hours but you can see very nice scenery and feel blent in the local’s life.
