Fantastic place on the very north of Poland. It cost to walk on the pier but not much. The town is busy as always this time of the year. There are cruises and fast boating experience is available straight from the pier. Also there is a restaurant at the end. There is a boat harbour also on the side where it is possible to enjoy or envy looking at the amazing yachts and speadboats.

Cheeky to pay for walking along a wooden pier just to get on too tourist boats that cost more. If you still want to visit buy tickets on the website or scan code near entrance or in high season visit after 21:00 for free.

Stunning location, apparently one of the longest piers in Europe. The boardwalk is awesome and wide. In the summer you need you pay to enter the pier but we didn’t pay. Totally worth the walk to edge of the pier though.

The longest wooden pier in Europe! Impressive! Nice walk around. The view from this pier is gorgeous to the beach and hotels, and cliffs!

The pier itself makes for a nice stroll with amazing views of the beach and water. A lot of soaring birds. The birds are not in the least scared of people, they occasionally land on the pier right next to people. They were minding their own business when we visited though ☺️ There's a fee (9 PLN) to walk on the actual pier, but we found it worth it. It's free to walk on the beach on either side of the pier, and to visit all the small booths that sells jewelry, knickknacks, souvenirs and snacks. The beach is full of seashells in the sand 🙂 A lot of nice waves and wind when we visited, perfect for windsurfing and kitesurfing

Loved the view from here....there are some benches to sit and relax. There are 2-3 restaurants, one being a pirate boat. You can try speed boats from here.

Beautiful place for rest! Sitting on bench, listening to the sound of the waves and watching breathtaking sea landscapes is beyond price! There are often a lot of people, but if you're lucky, you can enjoy this place without crowds. Crowds of people, not birds. Birds are always there hahaha! Seagulls, thunderbirds, pigeons, ducks, sparrows, swifts, crows and even swans live there! But don't feed them with bread! Bread kills birds!!!! There is restoraunt in the end of pier designed as ship! Btw, little sailboats moor to this pier, so you can watch this interesting process! I think, this place is necessarily to visit if you're in Trójmiasto!

To be honest I like better Gdynia pier. Gdynia is for free and not so much touristic as Sopot pier. However because I live in Sopot I am more often here. The best to visit it at sunrise. Not so crowdy and nice views.

Biggest wooden Pier in Europe and quite massive. As we come towards beach, pier we can see the crowd thronging this place but once in pier, we don't feel the same crowd thanks to the size of this pier which can accomodate lots of people. Must visit place in Sopot and main attraction of Sopot and something unmissable. There are lot of spots where we can take pics. There is also an restaurant in the middle of pier. In summers there is an entry ticket of 9zl and there would queues for buying tickets.

It’s a nice troll before or after meal in the area. We were there off season, which is free. I probably wouldn’t go in if there is a fee. But each to their own, apparently every season has its charm there.

Beautiful and breathing place 🤩 yellow sand ! The beach is very clean - no litter ! A lot of benches to sit and relax, plenty of restaurants and ice-cream shops near by the beach.

The pier itself is only good for views, as there's not much on the pier. Sopot Beach however is a beautiful sandy beach which stretches as far as the eye can see. Sopot Beach is as good a Beach as you'll find anywhere in Europe. If you want a really cheap beach holiday then Sopot Beach is an absolute must.

Such a nice pier and surrounding area was a truly a memorable experience. The views are lovely with plenty of bars/restaurants and vendors around that you can get steak meals to icecream on the move Really loved sopot and the boar ride from the pier

I like this place. It is best for chill. especially during snowy winter days.. But it is meaningless to buy a ticket during summer. I can't understand why, specifically, summer they allow to enter only with tickets. But generally fantastic place. There are many restaurants and places to spend good time. I recommend 👌

Sopot Pier in Gdansk is an absolute gem of a destination that should not be missed. The pier's breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea and the lively atmosphere make it an unforgettable experience. Strolling along the wooden structure, with its charming cafes and souvenir shops, creates a sense of nostalgia and relaxation. Whether you visit during the bustling summer months or the more serene off-season, Sopot Pier offers a delightful escape. Watching the sunset from the end of the pier is truly magical, making it a perfect spot for romantic moments or serene reflection. The combination of nature's beauty and the vibrant atmosphere of Sopot creates an ideal balance for a day of leisure. If you're in Gdansk, a visit to Sopot Pier is a must-do, and you won't be disappointed.

A nice little town comes out of the train station leading to the pier. However, it's a little disappointing for its claim that the longest wooden pier in Europe. I expected the pier would go straight and to the sea. But this one is going L shape and part of it overlaps and disrepair. I am not sure does this counts as it. We found hundreds of jellyfish along the pier. Nonetheless, the beach is nice although the water is not clear. Also, you can find a lot of stalls selling gifts and souvenirs.

I think I had too big expectations from the longest wooden pier in Europe. Don't get me wrong, it was very nice there, however it was shorter than I thought haha and the restaurant in the middle makes it impossible to make nice photo of while pier.

Longes wooden pier in Europe. You can find there the Yacht port, a restaurant/café and a ferry bringing you to Hel and a pirate ship for sightseeing tour around 40 minutes of Sopot and Gydnia. Prices for adults are 9 PLN each persons. For Pensioners , Students and children there are discounts, including a family ticket.

This place is amazing. There is a cheap ticket but you can keep it as a souvenir. Pier is fairly long and you can chill there for some time. Or just take a photo of your wife, kids or whatever. Or two. Love the place. Has its magical spirit. The ocean can work for you in composition as well. Would visit again. If you are in Sopot there is no way you wont visit this pier. Really nice.

It was clean and not crowded while we were there. We had plenty of room to walk around, benches to sit down and take in the view. There are restaurants right outside of the entrance that were very good. There were also a lot of stands before the pier that had a lot of different things to offer. It does cost 9zł each to enter which is what it is... apparently the price changes based on the season.

This is the best place in Sopot as far as I am concerned. Located exactly at the beach it's like a big walk on the bridge into the sea. The walk on this bridge is super awesome as it gives an excellent view of the sea and the beach which is left behind when you walk here. There is a very minimal amount which needs to be paid as the ticket. Totally recommended

Lovely place for a stroll. Great views of Klif Orłowski in Gdynia and Gdańsk. Being in Sopot and not going for a walk on the pier is like not being at Sopot at all!

In the first Moment it was stange to pay for the pier and that you have to queue for it, but at the end it was ok to pay 9zlt. You have a nice view to the sea and beach, you can visit restaurant, making trip to Hel island and enjoy a Trip by speed boat.

Sopot is a wonderful and special place and with this pier, the experience is absolutely positive. We loved to take a walk there and enjoying the sound of waves and the birds. It’s a little bit weird that you have to pay for the entrance, but I understand that this is a business also. Anyway it worth the visit.

Beautiful long and well cared pier with a beautiful sea view. Great for a walk in any weather. You can see all the surroundings of Sopot from here as well. The only disappointment was that you have to pay a fee of 9 PLN just to enter the pier. Inside there is a public wc (with additional charge) and one restaurant.

Great place for a promenade in Sopot. However, I don’t get why it has no free public access and you have to pay the entrance fee even if you have tickets for a boat.

An attraction to take a look at and experience, but it's not very eventful in and of itself. You can take a relaxing walk and check out the views and argue with the gulls a bit. It's pleasant and there is a cafe and a restaurant at the end where you can get something to eat or drink. All throughout the pier there are benches where you can take a break. The whole pier is crowded even during the off season but it's a must when in Sopot.

It was a beautiful tourist attraction! I only had time to grab food and go, after walking on the pier. Well, I ate ice cream cone first because I didn't want it to melt. LOL It had lots of souvenir shops, restaurants and there were things to do like walk in the lighthouse.

This is a must visit location. There is a charge but do ask the ticket seller for discounts for those under 16 and those aged over 60. The pier has great views with a cafe at the far end. Boat trips can be taken at the far end. There are plenty of benches to rest and plenty of space.

  • 3/5 Colin 8 months ago on Google
Wonderful Pier with a scenic view to the baltic sea. Nice stores and toilets are there aswell. In addition there are some boat tours you can book. You have to buy a ticket to get on the pier, but just for 1 time. The ticket you bought is just for 1 entry and you have to buy another if you like to go on it again. This is a pity because I think that many people would like to go a second time on the pier but wouldn't buy a new whole ticket. Maybe there could be bit better solution for the. The second think is that I think, the managemant could repair some parts of the walk or the railing. Color is breaking away and planks are sometimes damaged. For this entry price I expect a "safe" one. Other Piers in other cities are free-entry. The staff helps you by questions and by getting on it.

Place changed over the years but still has this atmosphere. Definitely Must See when visiting Sopot. Tip. If you are visiting Gdańsk take a boat to Sopot. The journey takes around 1h but views are spectacular and you're going straight to pier, so you can avoid queues to get ticket at entrance.

  • 5/5 IG G. 7 months ago on Google
I did not understand if entry to the pier is paid or not. People were using some cards/tickets or paying directly to some woman directly, but at the same time sides of the turnstiles were free to pass :)
