First and last time buying pizza here. Nothing really positive to say about any of the 4 family sized pizzas we bought. First time I've seen pizza stick to the box, very very ordinary pizza.

Great pizzas and pastas. The chef special pasta is amazing! Always on time too. Friendly staff who make the effort to get to know you. Food is very palatable. One of the best take aways in Gisborne.

To my taste, it was Average at best. Their menu differs considerably for some items than literally every other pizza shop ( considering ingredients) which resulted in a pizza that had a lot of extra stuff unexpectedly, so he mindful to really read the ingredients before ordering

Exceptionally happy with our two home delivered parmas! Easy order and delivered by friendly delivery guy. Tasty and generously portioned chicken parma, thick and crunchy chips and fresh and crisp salad, exactly what we were hoping for and then some. Great job guys 👏👏👏👍

Never had a disappointing pizza from Gissy Pizza & Pasta. Perfect amount of toppings, bases aren't too thick or too thin, definitely our go to for pizza night.

Amazing food but quite a few times the chips have come with so much salt on them that you can barley eat them

Date/time of visit: 30 May 2020, 6:20pm Firstly: very decent pizza. Ordered a Gisborne Special, which had a predominantly Hawaiin flavour with subtleness coming through from the salami. Good crispy base. Unfortunately, there was some confusion with order - it didn't appear to have been made when we back after 20 mins and had to wait another 20 mins but it may have just been in the oven. No idea. So, after 40minutes we got our pizza. And then we had a drive of 1.5 hours to get home (other side of Melbourne). It was also very busy, very popular. So, it can be recommended and I would go back if I lived in the area, or visiting.

Ordered lasagne and Greek salad What a surprise was hoping it would be half decent but It was delicious Lasagne was perfect! Salad was fantastic enough olives and onion toms My score is 10 Probably the best takeaway in Gisborne (I was just as surprised as you are reading this) Compliments to the chef!

Love the Gisborne Special. Somehow they have created a pizza that has all the things I want on a pizza. Great comfort food and friendly staff.

Rang up 15-30 mins before closing time and asked if they’d still take orders to which I could hear the girl ask a woman (didn’t put me on hold just attempted to cover the phone) and could clearly hear the woman angrily saying no etc, I hung up before the girl could relay the message. I hate places that state their closing time but don’t want to commit to serving up until that time. Make it earlier if you can’t be bothered staying til then. Previously the pizzas have been extremely oily as mentioned by other reviewers but they’re still edible and one of the few places that will deliver to Macedon.
