Great tasting, simple beef noodle soups. Broth takes a punch and doesn't taste like it was flavoured with salt and MSG. Choice of lots of noodle sizes and thicknesses. Price is decent. And staff are surprisingly nice.

An absolutely delicious experience! The braised beef soup is a must order! I personally did not find the chilli too spicy. The food comes out quickly, is super fresh and absolutely delicious! This is a huge restaurant, so they have a large capacity for seating. I absolutely love the variety of noodles. I had the wider and my son had the thin noodles - we thoroughly enjoyed them both! We will definitely be back for more.

This is my third visit to Master Lanzhou and I decided to write my positive feedback. This is not a simple Chinese noodle shop, it serves traditional ramen. This is completely different from the beef noodles you get in other shops. You will think that his soup is transparent, but it has a very strong beef flavor. The highlight of the Master Lanzhou experience is undoubtedly the noodles themselves. Made fresh to order, the noodles are cooked to perfection. The broth is flavorful and delicious, and the toppings are always fresh and of the highest quality. In addition to the amazing noodles, Master Lanzhou also offers a variety of other delicious dishes, including dumplings, stir-fries, and appetizers. Each dish is expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, making for a truly memorable dining experience.

Food is nice but a couple of times the Pork Cartilage Soup Noodle is sold out. We had the Youpo Widest Noodle. And the Lamb Skewer. Food is good and delicious. SERVICE is terrible. They close at 8.30pm. At 7.30pm they were clearing and cleaning the outdoor seating. The waiter ask if he could collect and keep the utensils,Chilli and Vinegar and we said yes please go ahead. Few minutes later a 7.36pm he came to collect the tissue box, and I asked to leave it at the table. He said he want to keep it and ask me to take a few layers of tissue. So I replied that I'll bring it in for him later after I finish. He took the whole box and left without responding. I am so angry and annoyed with this customer service. There are heaps of customers dining still. And he already is keeping everything from the customer's table. Worst SWRVICE ever

Master Lanzhou is a must place to eat when you're in Melbourne. Noodle, broth and toppings are top notch. It's always packed. Price is certainly reasonable and you can get additional soup with noodle for just about $2 or 4.

They’ve got an awesome menu full of noodles and sides! We enjoyed the pickled cabbage one and the braised beef one. There are many options on the amount of herbs and condiments you can get. The beef was so soft and tasted awesome. I also liked the thinner noodles over the thin noodles but this is just my own preference haha. Service was insanely fast and the food came out super hot. Portions were enormous too. The restaurant was packed, so the waiters were in a bit of a rush. Would recommend!

I go here often when in a hurry and in a hungry. The dish comes out in a generous portion and does not take long to serve it. On cherry on top, the price is decent. Having been able to choose the noodle selection and spiciness level is a plus for me. The ordering system is easy and practical, and the staff was helpful. However, plenty of them are unable to speak English and it could be a challenge to some. Overall, this place is a good option when you're in Chandstone.

Master Lanzhou is probably one of the best noodle bars at Chadstone Shopping Centre period. The restaurant is neat and clean also spacious. We love the beef brisket noodle soup, lamb skewers and the dry chicken noodles. Portion size is huge and the broth is full so of favor. Their price is quite reasonable and most importantly, their service is surprisingly friendly. To sum it up, I do highly recommend you try this place out. My family loves it, so do I. πŸ‘

Long wait to order food at the counter. Tried the limited pork rib noodle, had some regret as the meat tasted dry and overcooked (like you would get if you made stock with it)... Wish I got the signature noodle. The noodles themselves were great though. Lamb skewers also very good and chicken in Szechuan sauce were also very nice.

Plenty of space at one of the busiest locations in Melbourne. Got the signature beef noodle soup and the special beef noodles (dry). Enjoyed both! Noodles were very tasty with a nice soft silky feel with just enough bite to it. The beefy warm soup certainly went down well as the weather got cooler. And the dry noodles had beef that just pulled apart so easily with the flimsy plastic spoons provided. Of all the restaurants in Chadstone, I've been back 3 times in a row to this place.

Expertly made noodles available in a range of thicknesses. Dry and soup noodle varieties are all delicious and a wide range of side dishes are available. This restaurant is a regular haunt of my family and it comes highly recommended.

Was not impressed! I've given 🌟🌟🌟 instead of my original 🌟🌟 star in the hope that this review helps improve the service and food What I wasn't impressed by was the plastic forks and paper cups...and no water on the table - a help yourself kind of attitude by the staff was a let down The vibe was average. the tables were clean and I did manage to get a smile from one of the staff who was serving me at the time. The broth with the braised beef was average to say the least, but the other dry dish was not! I will return in the future to see if there has been a change in the quality of service and food

Came to have lunch with my sister. We ordered the braised beef noodles soup. The broth were amazing. Very tasty of the beef and were not spicy though chilli oil were added into it. They have a wide range of noodle sizes to choose from the thinnest to the wildest. Is quite easy for customers to order through using the code on the table too. No hassle of queuing up. Services were good and staff are friendly. They also have ready prepared side dishes at the front counter but we didn't order any of it. We will come back again to try them out. Great place to dine in.

At the time of writing: 4.5 positive out of 1,255 reviews. This restaurant is always full of Chinese people. That should be enough to tell you to GO RIGHT NOW. These are traditional, authentic Chinese hand-pulled noodles. My favourite is the beef noodles with pickled vegetables, but the plain beef noodles come a very close second. The noodle texture is just about perfect. The soups are clear, clean tasting, intense, herby, beefy, and spicy. Serves of meat isn't what you would call "generous" but it's typical of this dish so that's authentic, too. The skewers are only "good" and not "excellent". Could do with a bit more cumin and chilli. The meat they use has less fat on it, which could be a good thing (if you are health conscious) or bad (if you are looking for juicy, succulent meat). These skewers are a bit on the dry side. Service is incredibly fast if you order the noodles. Just look at the video of that chef churning out the noodles.

Dinner visit / 7pm ish Waiting outside for 15mins but the queue went fast! The service was also fast. The Soup was not bad but just wanted a little bit of flavour. I also think there was little beef on top of that. It just wasn't like the picture on the menu.

The first thing that impressed me was the rich and flavorful broth, which clearly showed the delicious result of long hours of simmering. The noodles had a fantastic chewy texture, and when combined with fresh slices of beef and vegetables, the taste became even more satisfying. The friendly attitude of the staff also enhanced the dining experience. Overall, Master Lanzhou is a restaurant worth recommending, providing a delightful combination of delectable flavors and a comfortable setting. I look forward to returning and savoring this delicious ramen again!

The quickest I’ve ever received food! Ordered via the QR code and within 3 minutes our food was sitting in front of us! Cheap, tasty and definitely filling. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating! Come here on these freezing winter days for a warm bowl of noodles!

Always a good experience. Great portions and flavour for the price, filling and few good meal. Good variety of side dishes. Got take out this time while rushing to work, noodles were packaged great with no leakage, the chopsticks were a bit broken, just random chance though.

The welcome was good and the soup (signature handmade beef noodle soup) very good, with a great tasty broth. The only downside is that I only had the choice between two soups, knowing that they have a large choice of dishes, it's a bit of a shame when the kitchen is only 15 minutes from closing...

A large and lively casual noodle restaurant in Chadstone. Definitely a value for money place as the portions are quite large for the relatively affordable prices! All the dishes were tasty and service was quick. They also use Liven which definitely helps.

Dry noodles and the pork rib noodle soup is the best. The staff here is so friendly, me and my friend didnt know how to order and the staff took the time to help us.

Nice beef noodle soup. The peanut chilli oil is great. Lots of noodle size and options. We got "pork ear" cold side dish and it tastes great.

I love this soup. I like the chili but when it has no chili the flavour is amazing too I've been a few times. The most recently I was waiting about 15min, I noticed that the person who arrived after had received their soup and the chefs were just talking. I went to ask and they found the print had a problem. They apologized many times and gave me a free cucumber plate (photo). I actually didn't mind as it wasn't that long. I can tell the chefs take pride in their cooking. This is a very good restaurant and worth a try.

Had lunch here today and the food and customer service was incredible. The most amazing fragrant broth and delicious noodles. I can not wait to come back and try more. I wish they made a nut free chilli oil as I have a nut allergy. But besides that this place is amazing.

Such a quick and easy meal! We came here on a public holiday Monday for dinner and got seated immediately. You order at the counter, tell them your table number, and within minutes of sitting back down we had our noodles in front of us. I enjoyed choosing my noodles, and the soup was delicious. Looking forward to coming back to try the dry noodles.

Noodle soups are what I will keep returning for especially for cold nights. Broth is addicting, brings immediate comfort to my belly. Service was sweet and welcoming. I didn't love it because I'm not a noodle person but I could see the hype for the handmade noodles. Nice bite to them. You can tell it's handmade without actually knowing it.
