Our 2nd trip to exciting escapes and we were fortunate enough to have Esme host us. She was so good we played a 2nd game later on with her has host. We loved it! Both rooms were BRILLIANT and immersive and our games master was on top of everything. We will be back again to do the rest of the rooms :) - Team Evans

This is the 2nd room i've done, well thought out - very enjoyable family afternoon out. Highly recommend the Doctor Who room!! Ronan was great host too.

I’ve been here a few times, have played all the rooms bar one and they’ve all been amazing. the puzzles are well thought out, the themes are exciting, and the staff are always lovely. shoutout to Archie, Hadley, Yasmin, and Charlie for being great games masters. I meant to do this review a while ago but kept forgetting, but honestly this place is amazing and has some of the best escape rooms around. would completely recommend to anyone :)

We had great fun doing an escape room with Exciting Escapes. We have done lots of rooms now and have enjoyed all of them. Kyle was a great host and I really enjoyed the debrief afterwards where we got some feedback and a little bit of time to dissect the experience

We managed to escape the room with five minutes to spare. Our game master Archie gave us just the right amount of help to keep us from getting completely stuck. Overall a great time!

Agent Yas and Agent Sophie were a brilliant help. We had loads of fun and would escape again 11/10 😆

Did the hidden past room today. We had a party of 4 adults and a 10 year old. There was plenty for everyone to do and a few simple puzzles for children. The staff were great and the instructions were clear and concise.

Went with three others. Great service from agent Sahara. It was our first escape room and it was all explained perfectly and we were able to complete it without any clues. We look forward to coming back and trying a harder one!

You don't expect to find something like this housed in a retro office unit in the middle of a high street! You wonder what you are getting yourself into when you first arrive, walking up these dated stairs with wooden handrails, past boring looking offices, but once you get to the top, and find exciting escapes, everything changes. The whole reception area is really nice and well themed, and the room we did (the disappearing duchess part 1) was excellent, great story, with a really creative ending. Nothing was too confusing, it was always fairly clear what we had to do next, and whilst it was challenging, everything kind of made sense. Very well thought out and well planned. Our game master Agent Kirsty was also brilliant. We will be back for part 2.

Myself and 3 schoolfriends from the 70 s ( who had never done an escape room before) went to Exciting Escapes last week.. My original choice was the hardest game so on arrival I asked our wonderful agent Lauren if we could have an easier game. Bless her she ran around setting up the new room for us. We had a great time working as a Team with pointers from Lauren. Great fun to do.. the only struggle we had which wasted important minutes was not being able to see padlock numbers easily in the darkened room even with a torch !! Ha ha

We had a wonderful time with our room! Archie did an incredible job helping us with useful hints when we needed them and make the room super clear in goal for us new escapers. Definitely coming back again.

We did the Duchess 1 room today. Friendly staff, great puzzles and ingeniously constructed room. We spent a lot of the time on the way home thinking about the puzzles and how they made aspects of the room work. The prop in the last section of the room is worth a visit just to see it all by itself.

Brilliant. We played two great rooms here in one day with the amazing Agent Hadley, who was super helpful and quick throughout! She knew just when to offer a clue without feeling like we were getting too much help or not enough - something that can be so hard to balance. Really excellent theming on each of the rooms, thoroughly enjoyable storylines to follow and puzzles to solve. We can’t wait to go back again. Definitely amongst our most enjoyable escape room experiences so far (approx 30 and counting).

Completed the 2 Duchess rooms. Absolutely fab with lots of different puzzles and things that I've not seen in other escape rooms I've completed. Love the fact they are a series as well as being able to do them on their own. Our host Megan was a delight

Really fun escape room. Lots of searching and puzzles to solve. Nothing too frustrating but a good level of challenge. Will be back to try the other rooms!

We had a great experience here, the puzzles were just the right level of difficulty although we did need the odd clue. Escaped with 2 minutes to spare. Great staff and good communication (I had asked a few questions in advance). Will definately be back!

This is a brilliant place. We did the “Breaking the law II”. The set was brilliant. All very clever! Our games mistress Sophie was great and helped us where we needed it. 1 second to spare though! Will definitely be back. Thanks Exciting Escapes x

Dark Deeds and Groceries was our second room with Exciting Escapes and it didn't disappoint. It was excellent and I highly recommend it (we were family of 4 with a 13 & 10 yr old). Megan, our host, was fantastic and gave a good level of support, encouragement and enthusiasm to help us. We can't wait to come back again.

Very good day out in general with amazingly designed rooms and helpful staff. Did this with three mates and parents on my 13th birthday and loved it. We finished with 9 minutes to spare with no clues and we had a great gamesmaster named , I believe, Archie. Very good overall.

We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the breaking the law II escape room. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back to try out the other rooms!

Been here a couple of times and both times we've had a blast. Today we have the lovely Laura as our GM. Good range of puzzles and awesome room design and decor. Highly recommend for new starters or seasoned veterans. Many thanks from the Broken Spirits :)

For my first Escape Room experience I can honestly say was the most fantastic day I've had in a very long time. Being on my belly, on my back, on my side and looking in every conceivable place made this a very fun and energetic experience I won't forget in a hurry. Our host Megan was very enthusiastic and made our time one that will be unforgettable.

Really well thought out escape rooms. Think this has actually been my favourite escape room so far in terms of the different puzzles but suitable clues as to what key to use where so you don't get frustrated. Bit tricky to find so some more signage may help!

We had done this experience as a family for my birthday and we had the best time! It’s such a great way of spending time with family whilst doing something everyone can get involved in! 10/10 experience will definitely be making this a birthday tradition. Great fun, the atmosphere is amazing too. Great prop design, and the puzzles we had to solve were pretty testing. Personally i didnt understand what my team was doing, but they solved it. Staff were very helpful, and nice aswell

My first time going to an escape room and I'd always been sceptical about how much fun they could be, or how easy/hard to complete. I'm very glad this was my first one. A really enjoyable challenge, completed just about in time! I would recommend it to anyone on the fence, give it a go 👍

A lovely experience for my daughter and her friends. They had a fantastic time and Andreea and the team were so helpful before booking and during the game. The girls are 11 so they needed a bit of help and Andreea gave them some subtle clues to help them finish. Thoroughly recommend, we will be back.

Brilliant escape rooms (myself and a friend attempted ‘Breaking the Law’). Although we unfortunately failed our mission, it provided a lot of fun and really got us thinking. Andreea (our agent) was very helpful and made the experience more enjoyable for us. Props made for a lovely photo afterwards, the only let down is the location! It took us a little while to find.

We had a brilliant time solving the clues! We completed it with 2 seconds spare! I can highly recommend it 🙂

Absolutely brilliant. Great fun and we instantly booked another escape adventure when we came out. I would recommend them 100%. We booked just before the first lock down and the staff were so helpful, informative and I couldn't fault them all the way through.
