It should be more faster as there is huge line of passenger awaiting anytime. Yes I'm talking about Bus stand end counter. Passengers suffer to the rainy season on ticket booking line.

It is one of the busiest station in Howrah main line. Most of the trains are halt here because it is a very famous station. Passengers departed here are working in office, students & also the people coming for temple visit as a tourist. There is a famous temple nearby named as tarakeshwar mandir. So people all the time coming in this hindu temple. This station is named after this temple. The platform is also clean. The staffs in the ticket counter are also very efficient. Passengers do not have to wait for long to get their tickets. So please visit this station when traveling by this railway.

It is the oldest railway ticket counter of tarakeswar railway station.here who works their behavior is so good. They help who does not know how they buy ticket. Always the workers helps us. And the atmosphere of the ticket counter is so mindfull. When i take long journey i spend time in this counter.. So i love it.and i also want to go their..

What a wastage of government transportation facility. You can have reservation tickets only. No local train tickets available here. After knowing this, you might be taking upstairs to cross the platform and get tickets from the counter other hand side. But here is the trick, TTEs are there to welcome you over there and you will be fined. So simple business. So, the moral of the story is you need to have at least 10 minutes in hand to take a round through the market and surrounding pathways to travel to the desired counter and another 10 minutes to wait at the queue.

Young staffs of the counter are polite but old one is not showing good manners. A electronic tickets collecting machine available here. Floor of the building is not clean and unhygienic.

Good ticketing service but Co-Atvm functions are not well

Generally 2 counters for local train tickets. One counter for reservation of mail and express tain. Don't expect tatkal ticket from here. U will never be able to become the first person in the line for tatkal ticket. Some agents are always be available who claims that they are waiting long before you for tatkal. If u pay as per their demand, u can get that position.

Nc
