Amazing ambience with mouthwatering Indian specialities. Order anything and you won't be disappointed. We were thoroughly astonished with Sunny Praaji's service. Highly recommended.

First time trying this restaurant and surprisingly delicious starting with the Pury puna appetiser. The staff were super nice and our waiter took the time to explained and answer our questions regarding some new dishes, he suggested our entry And we ordered a Korma and Bhuna with chicken, both rich in flavour and delicious. Love the natural ambience full of plants. Definitely will be back to try more dishes.

Ordered Tandoori Paneer Tikka for starters and Paneer Kadai for main course with a side of naan. The portions were adequate for others dishes except for Naan. We would have appreciated if the staff recommended the portion for Naan. While the paneer kadai had a pleasant taste the Tandoori Paneer Tikka could have been better. The staff were polite and the ambiance is pretty good. Even though the restaurant has wide variety of dishes, I found it to be a bit overpriced.

We visited Samrat & Spices on Saturday, 22-July for dinner. The restaurant is located very close to the Domplatz (2-3 mins by walk). The have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Considering the lovely weather, we got a table outside. We called for Pani Puri (must try!) and Vegetable Manchurian. For mains we shared a Chole Battura (highly recommended). The food was authentic with plenty of flavour. Infact, I would rate Samrat much higher than the Indian restaurants I've visited in Munich. The service was quick and efficient. Overall, enjoyed the evening. Since the place gets busy, would suggest to make a reservation in advance especially if you wish to sit outside during Friday & Weekends.

This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in Germany and had a great experience. The ambiance was very welcoming and charming. The food and service was amazing. Staffs were so friendly and did an amazing job by describing anything on the menu. Enjoyed a lot and highly recommended!!!

Ein gutes indisches Restaurant. Ambiente ist schön und modern. Auch die Musik taugt mir. Die Gerichte waren ganz gut. Solides essen. Teilweise etwas zu europäisch für meinen Geschmack. Angerichtet waren die Gerichte durchschnittlich, nicht besonders aber auch nicht schlecht. Die Auswahl ist riesig, fast schon überfordernd. Da wird auf jeden Fall jeder fündig. Allerdings werde ich bei extrem viel Auswahl gerne mal etwas skeptisch 😊 Ansonsten solide. Preise sind ok. Man kann hier bedenkenlos einen schönen Abend genießen.

Ein Restaurant mit gemütlicher und schöner Atmosphäre, mit freundlichem Personal und ausgezeichneten Speisen und Getränke. Obwohl ich nicht oft indisch essen gehe, da die Gewürze oft nicht mein Fall sind (was natürlich Geschmackssache ist), kann ich mir sehr gut vorstellen in diesem indischen Restaurant öfter essen zu gehen. Das Essen schmeckt einfach fantastisch und ist für meinen Geschmack genau richtig gewürzt. Auch die Cocktails sind sehr gut. Die Preise hier sind leicht höher als in den umliegenden Restaurants, das spiegelt sich aber auch in der sehr hohen Qualität der Speisen und Getränke wieder. Somit ist dieses Restaurant eine absolute Empfehlung, sollte man unbedingt probieren!

Sehr schicke Einrichtung. Das Essen sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Alle haben gleichzeitig bekommen. Empfehlenswert. 20,-- Euro incl Getränk sollte schon pro Person kalkuliert werden. Ist aber angemessen. Portion gross. Sind alle satt geworden.

Sehr gutes Essen, serviert von freundlichem und aufmerksamem Personal. Das Lokal ist schön und es gibt bei gutem Wetter auch Außenplätze. Wir hatten den letzten Tisch ergattert, trotz der hohen Auslastung hatte das Team die Situation voll im Griff. Wir mussten nicht lange warten.

I had a best dining experience at Samrat in Bamberg. The ambiance was charming. The menu boasted a wide array of authentic Indian dishes, and each one I tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. They also have one or two south indian dishes.The staffs were attentive and friendly, which added to the overall positive atmosphere.  Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or milder options, this restaurant has something to satisfy every palate. A definite must-visit place in for anyone craving an indian food.

As an Indian, i will defenity recommend this restaurant. It was a great experience. The ambiance is very cozy and pleasent. The vibe was so good because of good selection of Indian songs The staffs are so friendly and the service was exemplary and they make great recommendations, if we have difficulty to choose from their varied Menu . We had three course meal, veg friedrice, tandoori chicken, crispy chicken and couple of shots. considering the quantity and the quality its has reasonable price. and my most favorite was dessert, Gulab jamun. And we got special offers for drinks too. I love this restaurant and will definitely come again

One of the best Indian restaurants visited so far in Bavaria. Delicious food and really taste. Amazing food, got the real taste of exactly we were craving for our Indian food. Brilliant staff service, great hospitality. Veg Manchurian was tasted exactly like we get in India, Tandoori chicken is the best. Chicken fried rice Amazing. Must try..

Good taste with very friendly staff. Many varieties especially Chaat (Street Snacks) options which is a rare in normal indian restaurants. Highly recommend for all the street food lovers.

I loved this - best Indian place in Bamberg, and a really good alternative to Franconian cuisine right in the heart of Bamberg. We were a group of 6, we all ordered appetizers to share + different mains, and we loved all our food! It was full of taste, different degrees of spice. The staff was really nice and welcoming, we will definitely come back!! Also looking forward to try their business lunch menu ;)

This is a hidden gem in the town. Great service and each and everyone who served us were so polite, service minded, great hospitality, great recommendation of food. It is a very nice restaurant, ambience is so nice, calm, relaxing, service is quick and yummy yummy food. We had so many varieties of vegetarian dishes and each and every dish was very very very tasty. Authentic Indian taste, yummy food, quite big portions. Great service and we really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It is a must visit for good tasty food. It is a small restaurant with good seating arrangements, clean toilet facility, staff accommodates your request. Thank you so much for your great service, food and hospitality.
