This is the perfect place to go to for plenty of occasions, you want a quick snack? They got it, you want to sit down with the family? You can! On a date and need good atmosphere and food they've got it too! We order here almost once a week they have amazing food! Would definitely recommend!

Nice place for the first time, food was good and we where happily received, we only had one main meal and we're yet to do other options on the menu. we will visit again.

Perfect family restaurant, nice ambience, absolutely amazing decor. Kids have dedicated play area. Good food with vegetarian options as well. Staff is very friendly. Tip: good place to spend summer evening on Terrace or inside of restaurant.

A very popular place to eat in Axel, with a helpful and friendly staff. When we arrived for lunch at one thirty in the afternoon on a weekday, the place was packed. We were given seats in a waiting area where we ordered something to drink until a table became available. The building is an old church and the restaurant is cleverly designed in it. The food choices are quite varied, but don't expect 'regular' bread (except for the burgers). Everything comes in flatbread or 'oerbrood.' You can customize your order. A kids menu with regular snacks is available. Also for kids, there is a play area and they can get crayons and a coloring page at the table to keep themselves busy. There is a large outdoor dining area, but the weather wasn't very nice, so it was empty when we were there. The place also has a snackbar area, if you just want take-out.

I didnt njoy my toast that much, it was too hard, however the atmosphere was great. And the herbs tea was tremendous.

The problem is not so much the food but the place that was assigned to us. There was a pointy Aloe vera behind us that stuck out over the sitting area and if you are alone you can sit next to that but with a group someone has the plant sticking in the head all the time and Aloe vera has thorns. At another table this was cut away but that just looks ugly so the choice of plants effects the experience.

Very nice and friendly place to sit. Even though its in an old church it feels like a very pleasant place to sit. The staff was friendly and we were helped quite fast. The food however was a mixed bag of feelings. The spareribs were the worst, the taste was rubbery and standard for frozen ribs. No personal touch added. Felt like something anyone can buy in any store and just warm it up. The family schnitzel was very nice. Good structure and nice use of spices. For desert the waffle was waaay to crunchy with too much air inside. The donut had amazing taste Ribs 1/5 Schnitzel 4/5 Waffle 1/5 Donut 4/5 Overall food experience 2/5.
