Haven’t eaten at a Carrara’s in probably 5 or more years, mainly due to the limitation of vegetarian dishes (well, other than the standard pasta with marinara) and the pricing. Two of us ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana (which does not include spaghetti noodles unless you add that as a side). $16 per entree. Eggplant was “okay”.. probably would not order again though. It’s sliced thicker than I prefer, but they do cook it w/o the purple skin. My husband ordered Spaghetti Pomodoro (which is a basic spag/marinara) plus meatballs. $16.50. Pricing for wine was higher than I usually pay (glasses started around $7.50 for a 6 Oz serving ). Atmosphere was nice and our server was knowledgeable about the menu. Don’t recall if any music was playing. Some servers wore masks, some did not. We are fully vaccinated so this doesn’t bother us like it used to a few months ago. The seat cushion in the booth was tattered and uncomfortable bare legs for anyone wearing shorts or a skirt. Overall experience was “okay” but we probably won’t visit again for a few years. Rather pricey (see receipt photo) for three people, although the wine did increase the tab by about $18.

The Carrabba's Italian Grill Experience (Dine-In Edition). I am a Carrabba's Italian Grill fan! Well, let me get to the review before my true biases show. I was in Hickory, North Carolina, for a work conference and ventured to Carrabba's. It was close to the hotel I was staying, and I knew the menu like the back of my hand. So I ordered the Salmon Capperi served with wood-grilled Salmon topped with oven-roasted grape tomatoes, fresh basil, capers, and their lemon butter sauce. It also comes with a cup of soup or a side salad, and I ordered a Caesar salad and I got mashed potatoes. While waiting for my food, I went to the restroom, which appeared clean on my visit. While waiting on my food, I enjoyed the complementary bread with olive oil. The server was pleasant, as I came an hour before closing. Once my food came out, it had that Carrabba taste and flare. The food was consistent with the other Carrabba's I have dined at. So would I come back? I may travel to Hickory once a year, but if back, I would eat there again. The food came to the table hot, the service was good, and I enjoyed my experience. What more could I ask for..

Great for a date night or family outing. You do not have to call ahead but it may be beneficial especially for larger groups. We are a family of 9 and they were able to accommodate us! I love the atmosphere, the servers and all are amazing. The waiter helped me with my order because i wanted to try something different. He also helped find the right way to order our childrens meal for the way they wanted it. Highly recommend!!

Meko (unsure of spelling)was our waitress and she was great! They were busy, but we were seated quickly and had great service. The food was good but our sides were not hot, only warm. Chicken dishes were really good, and Canoli Cake for Two was amazing.

Went here with my girlfriend, the food was amazing! We had the Toscano Steak, Chicken Piccatta, and for dessert we had the Canoli Cake for 2, the coffee was made perfectly! The service was great, Tenesha waited on us, she was awesome! She made sure we were satisfied with everything! The restaurant was clean and presenting the perfect atmosphere!

This brand never disappoints. My Ribeye was slightly undercooked, but everything else was great!

This place is pretty good. It has something for everyone. My steak was tasty. It can be a bit pricey, but you get a lot of food, too. The cannoli cake was my favorite part.

It was my first time going mother's day. We sat at the bar and ordered. The bread was soft and crusty at the same time. I dipped it in the olive oil and herb mix and fell in love. I ordered the shrimp and scallops with sauteed broccoli and my friend ordered the salmon. Both were delicious. I had no leftovers and I was kinda hurt about that because it was so good I wanted to do it again but I only had one stomach. The bartender with the brace on her leg was awesome and did a fabulous job for us. I appreciated the love on Mother's day and I will be back for sausage stuffed mushrooms and the cannoli cake for two that I ate with my son...💕

This was our Valentines Day celebration along with a birthday. The ambiance was warm and embracing despite a little renovation happening. Clean, fast service, and wonderful staff. We look forward to seeing y'all and working back at full capacity because we enjoy your artistry.

After driving 30 miles, I visited to this Carrabba's last night, October 31, 2023. I was with my daughter. Upon arrival there were 2 other couples waiting to be seated at the entrance. The first couple was seated and the next couple was asked how many in their party. The gentleman replied 2 and they were seated. The host returns and asks us how many and we replied 2. The host then looks over to a woman that I later find out is the manager and asks if she had a table ready to which she replied no, so the host then says to us, " There will be about a 5 minute wait, to which I replied ok that's fine. As this was happening another couple walked in and they too were a party of two. The host let's them know that it will be between a 5 and 10 minute wait. The same woman that was initially asked about a table walks over to the host and says, "I'll take the second one". She then tells the other couple you can come with me. They looked puzzled and say "but they're" to which the same woman says,"oh there gonna be taken over on the other side when the table gets ready." It seemed as if the manager (KB) didn't want to service us on her side and proceeded to take the other couple that came in. This hurt me to my core. I felt uneasy and uncomfortable at this point and left. I was under the impression that it was a first come first serve type of restaurant and that we would be treated equally. I guess not at this establishment.

So, similar to the rest of you pasta-loving humans, who's not been to Carrabba's 100x or so. This one just didnt hit right... Started with the $9.25 up charge for a White Russian with "Titos"...really? The appetizer was described as a "Scampi", but had a cream sauce vs. oil/butter/garlic... Finally, the new Johnny Sampler's serloin was so tough, you could barly get the fork in it after it was cut... Service was OK, until the check came, then it was crickets for a bit too long, just my opinion. Restaurant was clean and staff were polite and gracious. Bon Appetit!

The food is decent. It’s not amazing but it’s not bad. Prices were fair. The service was good. I just didn’t think we had anything exceptional nor worth going back for. I also got sick after eating here. It wasn’t food poisoning but it was definitely something I ate that made me ill. It’s a mediocre restaurant. Again, not bad by any means, but just wasn’t anything memorable.

Well portioned Italian dishes from a robust menu. They have a wide variety of wine to pair with your meal. The service was great as well. Definitely worth checking out.

My first time here and it was already crowded even before 1800. The waiter recommended me to try their Sicilian chicken soup and soup and scallop linguine. The hot soup is perfect for a cool evening. The pasta I would have to say is al dente and the shrimps and scallops are very fresh.

As usual Carrabba’s never disappoints . The new crab cake appetizer was amazing. Shrimp scampi is always a must also. The sausage and lentil soup was great. And both entrees were top notch. The only issue we had was the waiter kept trying to cut us off after only a few drinks. I’m not sure if this is a company policy or what but this has never happened before. It was very upsetting and ruined what would have been a perfect dining experience as usual. So whoever’s making these rules needs to reconsider cause no paying customer wants to be monitored! They want waited on!

Who knows how the food, service or atmosphere might have been. We arrived on New Year's Day at 1:00 pm as a party of three. No one was ahead of us to be seated and it appeared maybe 16 patrons were either eating or being served. The waitress indicated that they were short handed and it would take about 5 minutes to be seated. Approximately 30 minutes later were were three of about sixteen still waiting to be seated, those that arrived after us were never even acknowledged by the staff. I understand that it was a holiday, but we arrived early and were barely acknowledged by the staff. As much as I like the food at Carrabba's, this was a terrible experience that will keep me away for a very long time.

Brandon has been my server the last couple times I’ve been here. I just want to say. I would empty my savings account for this gentleman. He is the most amazing server I’ve ever had. He waited on my fiancé and I after we got engaged. And he was so patient and kind and just made sure we were well taken care of. He is Amazing and I will ask for him EVERY time we come here. Restaurants need more servers like him for sure ❤️❤️

This was my first visit and I loved it. My server was Taylor and he was amazing. The food we ordered as wonderful and plentiful. We ordered the Lasagna, Lobster ravioli and the Salmon with a caper sauce. Soup and salad, all so good. The bread they serve is warm and soft with herb and oil on the side. Another server came with fresh cheese to grate and the gentleman who prepared my Blackberry Sangria brought it out himself. Couldnt been happier.

Made reservations for 4, got there early and waited about a few minutes for a table. Service was good. A salad came with the food and it was a large salad which tasted good. Food came for (4) people, food was good but was not very hot, had to send one dish back and replacement was still not very hot. We all left full and would go back.

Very disappointed again. This is the 4th time me and my husband have ate here and its been sorry. The waiter was excellent. Its just the food is not good at all anymore. For something to take almost an hour you'd think it would be delicious. The salad was the best part. This use to be our favorite place to eat. 😢😢

Went here for my mother's birthday as we do every year. The hostess walked up behind my mom who was standing with her back turned holding my baby and even though there was 3 feet of open space on the other side where she could of walked by she snapped excuse me in a ugly tone at my mom's back. My mom was startled but moved out of the way. The hostess then asked us about our party size with an attitude as if we bothered her by breathing. She walked away for a minute then came back and asked if I was taking my stroller to the table. I said yes and she said it would be 10 minutes. I gave her my name and told her we'd be outside waiting. Over 10 minutes later another large group came in and was seated immediately. I went in and spoke to the manager. She says the other group called ahead and while that is understandable we arrived before them to an almost empty restaurant and had to wait about 30 minutes before we were at at a table. There were several servers standing around talking. A man came to our table and brought bread. About 10 minutes later he came back and apologized that we didn't have a server and offered to get us drinks while they figured it out. He was nice and we appreciate him as well as the server that eventually made it out to take our order. The food was not great. The calamari was severely over seasoned. The Alfredo sauce was as thin as milk. I would've left if it wasn't my mom's preferred birthday spot. After leaving she told me she wished we would've left too. It's really sad. This place used to be really good.

This place was amazing. It's was super crowded on mother's Day but my server ally made it amazing.my food and experience was on point and her attention to my group was outstanding. Ally went above and beyond to make sure me and my group were taking care of despite us having to eat at the bar and being overwhelmed. Thank you ally for a wonderful experience and I recommend this place to everyone.

Typically I have really good experiences here. The food was good and our waitress was the sweetest! My problem was the hostess. We put ourselves on the waitlist online, when we arrived my mom went in to see if our table for 6 was ready. The lady at the stand told her that our entire party needed to be there before we were sat. While waiting on my sister to join us, the lady asked if we needed a high chair for my 1 year old, I told her no because it was late and she was going to stay in her stroller. The lady immediately rolled her eyes and said there wasn’t room for that and that she would have to go get a manager. Now I get that sometimes it’s really crowded in there, but tonight it was not crowded at all, most of the tables were empty. So it really upset me that she was making a big deal out of it. She was gone for a while and when she came back she got an attitude because we had 6 people, plus my 1 year old who wasn’t even eating. She said she’d just have to sit us in between the island and the table, again no big deal I usually just push my daughters stroller under up under the table so she can nap while we eat. Overall the lady was just nasty and rude for absolutely no reason and set an irritating mood for our diner. Luckily our sweet waitress made up for it. But to the hostess, please do better and be kind to mothers just trying to enjoy a night out with their families and trying to make sure their babies are comfortable.

My wife and I have been enjoying going to Carrabba's for many years. We've noticed over the years that the portions have continually gotten smaller. I always get the Chicken Bryan. Todays meal was shockingly small! This was the smallest portion I have ever received. Not only was it ridiculously small, it didn't have the sun-dried tomatoes that is normally a staple of this dish. I ask the server if I could get some sun-dried tomatoes. She went back to the kitchen then returned to let me know they were out. The dish is not the same without all of its ingredients. The kitchen staff should let the servers know when they are out of crucial ingredients so customers have the opportunity to change their order choice. Once we were told they were out of sun-dried tomatoes there was no attempt from the restaurant to rectify the meal. The attached picture was before I had touched it other than to add pepper. Very unhappy with this experience.
