Went
here
because
it
was
promoted
on
You
Tube
channels
as
one
of
the
best
buffets
in
Honolulu.
Ehhh
it's
pretty
good.
Price
is
85
dollars
a
person.
Having
to
spend
on
average
50
dollars
a
day
of
food
here
this
is
not
much
of
a
stretch,
but
I
expected
something
more
substantial
in
terms
of
quality
and
selection.
Mind
you
the
food
was
excellent,
but
I
guess
has
inflated
expectations
of
the
place.
Sushi
was
limited
to
hand
rolls
and
maki.
Sashimi
at
the
time
was
tuna,
salmon
and
marlin.
I
never
had
marlin
before
so
I
was
eager
to
try
it
out.
Nothing
special.
Fish
quality
was
good
though.
Prime
rib
was
excellent,
it
was
rare,
slightly
bloody
yet
tender
and
juicy.
Well
done.
Goe
great
with
the
fresh
horse
radish
sauce.
The
buffet
was
well
worth
if
you
are
into
crabs.
Snow
Crabs
and
the
Dungeness
crab
were
of
very
high
quality
with
very
firm
flesh.
Oysters
were
very
plump
and
juicy.
Very
high
quality.
Boiled
shrimp
is
the
one
treated
with
sodium,
a
bit
bouncy
but
ok.
Clam
chowder
was
very
nice,
not
too
many
potatoes
as
filler.
Poke
was
ok,
a
little
too
much
soy
sauce
in
it,
but
acceptable.
They
also
give
a
small
chocolate
can
slice
for
birthdays.
Staff
prompts
all
visiting
parties
if
there
is
a
special
occasion
for
their
visit.
Hot
dishes
need
to
be
replaced,
the
food
was
running
low
and
were
actually
drying
out.
Bread
pudding
was
very
good,
and
I'm
not
a
big
fan
of
it.
Fruit
and
Salad
bar
is
of
the
churrascaria
variety
and
quality.
If
you
are
the
person
who
likes
to
hog
the
seafood
for
the
buffet,
this
place
is
for
you,
otherwise
the
other
offerings
are
good,
not
exceptional.
Personally,
I
would
just
load
up
on
the
Dungeness
crab,but
that
is
just
me.
