Super delicious Hawaiian food place, we even went back to there a second time! The best loco Moco with lots of gravy and right portions of fried rice! Super friendly servers. They will validate parking (up to a certain length of time) if you park in the section in front of their place. Did both takeout and dine in over both visits. The lilikoi salad dressing that comes with the greens is so good, I’d buy a whole bottle Of that if I could! Great vibes as well. Definitely a new favorite for when I visit Honolulu again.

Very authentic Hawaiian dining. They offer a wide menu of Hawaiian cuisine. The staff have special menus with descriptions for first timers. Gets very busy after 6pm and has a line out the door. Worth the trip!

Amazing presentation and taste! My first comprehensive introduction to authentic Hawaiian food! Everything tasted so great! The server is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is you can’t make a reservation for parties less then 6! You have to stand outside of the restaurant to wait for your seat. They need a more robust reservation system given their popularity!

The food is a amazing. It's a local Hawaiian place. We came before the dinner rush around 430. The host and server were very kind and warm and inviting. The food came out quick to within a few minutes of our ordering. I have plantation mixed grill and side of beef stew regular portion and we also had the squid 🐙 Lau Lau from Hawaiian combination selection. Everything was tasty and food. For drinks we the homemade iced tea. We highly recommend you try this spot

This place was recommended by our Uber driver and we were glad we stopped by. We wanted authenticity and this was as close to a home cook as it could get. Everything we ordered tasted great. Good portions with decent prices. The only thing i didn't care for was my bloody Mary drink. I'm so use to the usual celery, jalapeño, olives, and other garnishes, i wasn't expecting it to be plain and the garnish to be a salsa that i had to eat with it. And a bit on the salty side. We kinda disappointed we couldn't try their Poke. They were out by noon that day. Other than that, awesome experience

Wow the food here is really a different experience. Definitely a great spot to try if you want to try traditional island dishes in one go. There’s a couple of issues here though. The greeter was pretty rude, she really didn’t serve us and seemed like she was ready to go home. Our waiter started out nice but they became pretty rude as well. We mentioned that we were in a bit of a time crunch and he said since most of the dishes on the a-la-carte menu were pre-made (with the exception of the beef jerky) they can come out within seconds, and still recommend the jerky as a must try. We ordered. They jerky ended up coming out in about 5 minutes, the tasting combo took over 10! When inquiring about the tasting dish, the same server said that there were “others in the restaurant to serve”. I understand but how did a few seconds turn into 10 minutes? To top it, I found aluminum in the chicken lau lau that was part of the tasting combo! Anyhow, I don’t want to discount too many stars from this spot since I think that this really is great island food that everyone needs to try. Definitely a shame that service lacked here.

The Smoked Moco and the Hawaiian Stew were absolutely delicious. The Poke bowl was nice and fresh. Very large portions..The "small" portion was a perfect size for one meal..the regular is if you're super hungry or want leftovers. My friends also loved their plantation tea (pineapple juice and ice tea combo). Highly recommend and definitely coming back every time I visit for legit flavorful Hawaiian food!!

We passed by this place a couple times and decided to give it a try before leaving the island. This was hands down the BEST meal we had all week! Traditional Hawaiian food that makes you feel like you’re home! My husband had the smoked moko and I had the mixed plate with short ribs, chicken and fish. We split the beef stew. Everything was delicious!

This is exactly where you need to go for some true Hawaiian flare. Kind staff, and excellent food all the way around. If you like a drink, for brunch or feeling festive, the Lili-Coco is now a personal favorite that won't leave your gut hurting later. It tastes like another! Kailua pork ANYTHING! Supa Ono! Broke da Mouth Grindz! Enjoy😘

This is the place I take my out of town visitors when they want to try typical Hawaiian food without Luau dinner and show price. The sampler has the best of Hawaiian dishes I also like their plate lunch. I have tried it with Michiko chicken and butter fish. The restaurant is very casual, open and vibrant. An easy bus ride from Waikiki too.

Ate here while on a week long trip to Honolulu. We were actually trying to eat at a brewery not far away but they had a 2 hour wait so we found this place on our walk from there. Food was great and not pricey but they forgot one of the orders in our party so they ended up getting their food to go instead of eating with everyone else. They did give us that meal for free and an extra drink at no charge which was nice of them to do for the mistake. Not much atmosphere going on but the service was otherwise great besides the missed meal.

Kitchen was a bit slow today but the food is as excellent as ever. We enjoyed our Mimosa flight while we waited for food. The servers are excellent. I spilled sauce on my shirt and Andrew ran to grab me a cup of soapy water and a pile of paper towels to dab my shirt and it really helped reduce the stain. Actually, by the time we left the restaurant, my shirt looked like it was washed with barely a shadow of the sauce.

The fish tacos on taro tortillas are a delightful fusion dish! Lomi salmon as a salsa for it is perfect. The portions are very generous, but you’ll want to eat it all because it’s so tasty. Highly recommended!

Great food! Seems to be a spot where many locals go. It can get very busy. Their poi is the real deal - all travelers should try it at least once.

Every time I visit Oahu, I make sure to stop here. The food is so good, some of the best Hawaiian food I've ever had. My favorites are the tasting plate and the mochiko chicken. The staff is excellent and very friendly too. I've got no complaints!

Solid 4.75. The service is super quick and friendly. I got the combination platter with a light salad and a sweetened iced tea. The iced tea was lightly sweet and refreshing. The platter was very good, but the one small thing is that the fish was over cooked though it had a nice breading. Some parts were tough, but all in all, was a very delicious meal!

I definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for a meal that's healthy, simple, and/or uniquely Hawaiian. I had lunch here yesterday around noon. Already crowded, but I was able to get seated within 15 mins off a standby list. The food definitely appears unique to Hawaii, but it was reminiscent of the latin-carribean food I grew up with. So I'm a bit bias in saying it was just what I wanted, especially after a long flight. In addition to being delicious, I felt both great and satiated at the end of eating. The chicken was particularly tender, lightly seasoned and paired well with the greens it was wrapped in. Even the bones fell apart, and I ate most of them too. The poi was a bit sour, but went well with the meat. So did the steamed sweet potatoes. The salad and dressing weren't special, but tasty nonetheless. And the coconut gel cube was a sweet treat. I has this meal with plantation iced-tea which was pleasantly sweetened with pinapple juice. All $25, which seemed fair by Hawaiian standards. The staff was mostly attentive and friendly, though it took a bit before I could get my bill and check out after finishing. All things considered, I'll be returning for ideally another great meal.

It was my first time visiting Hawaii and I wanted some authentic Hawaiian food and this didn't disappoint. My partner and I came in for dinner and the place was somewhat packed, but luckily they were able to sit us at the bar. The food was excellent and the ambiance was chill. Service was great and attentive. If you want some authentic Hawaiian food, you should try this place!!

Lots of Hawaiian dishes here! Great options for traditional vs. new takes on Hawaiian classics. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The Moco Loco is generous with a lot of rice, gravy and two thicc beef Pattie’s. Our favorite dish was the Mochiko Chicken! I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was certainly great and I loved everything the platter had. The loco moco is amazing as well and it has enough as a portion for two people. I would recommend a half size if you are eating alone. The staff is great and super friendly. They took the time to explain the whole history of the franchise and the menu as well. I recommend this place if you want go eat traditional food!

Luau pig and lau lau chicken were delicious however maybe because of my eating reference Or that’s how Hawaiian likes to eat, they both greasy and salty. Love to purple yam though😁and the portion was big with decent price.

If you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian food for a reasonable price, come here! A local on the bus suggested this place and it did not disappoint! Our waitress was helpful in explaining what the different foods were and I loved getting to try the authentic meal!

This was hands down our favorite local Hawaiian meal. We had the Chicken lau-lau, long rice chicken, beef tips, kalua pig, and fried rice with Spam. Everything was SO delicious! The pork was so flavorful - one of my favorites, and my husbands favorite dish of the entire trip was the beef tips. This was also our first time trying the famous Hawaiian dessert Haupia, and it did not disappoint as a cool, refreshing treat!

Fish tacos were full of chunks of fish and lomi salmon and veggies. Soft Okinawan sweet potato tortillas a hit with this and also kalua pork stuffed quesadillas. Enough to share for 2. Plantation tea very refreshing and great pineapple taste. Dessert was a good thick piece of kulolo bownie with lots of ice cream. Could not wait to eat it so no photo. Waitress very friendly and attentive. Nice old time Hawaiian music and not too loud so can talk and hear. Great atmosphere. Worth going back to try other things on their huge menu. And very reasonable prices.

Not everything here was to my liking, but that's not because it wasn't amazing food, not all Hawaiian food is under for my taste. Is amazing fresh and totally off in a Hawaiian food. The manager was really nice and gave my wife a mask too.
